On April 7 I had my sons 3rd birthday at maple tops and it was nothing short of a nightmare. We were seated 1 foot from the play structures entrance, resulting in damage to the decorations, food, and loot bags I brought. The designated party host was non-exsistant. The play structure was busier then I’ve ever seen it. My son was attacked by another child in the top of the structure, and refused to go back in. We had random children eat the food I had brought for the party. There were children trying to take my sons belongings so we had to have someone keep an eye on the presents at all times. It took 20 minutes from signing happy birthday to getting the cake for the toddlers, whom some have lost interest and walked away from the table. We had kids leave early due to the chaos of the environment. Due to the lack of space we were forced to put my sons gifts on the game tables. A party host came and told us we needed to move our stuff, and this was the only interaction we had with a party host. I voiced my concerns to the owner, Candi, that Monday and once we connected she promised me a partial cash refund as we were not interested in returning. She stated she needed to talk to her accountant as she couldn’t just take money out of the till. I left her numerous messages, it seems like she was hoping I would forget, as she was impossible to get ahold of. 5 weeks after i told her my concerns I finally got a voicemail stating my partial refund gift card was ready for pickup. When I called Maple tops to see what was up, she had already left for the day, which was 20 minutes after she left a voicemail. I am super unimpressed with how the situation was handled and the lack of communication. Save yourself a headache and book a birthday party somewhere else. Update: I asked you to clarify what was untrue about my statement in writing since you said it wasn’t true, which you didn’t want to do.

If i could give this negative 10 stars i would. Decided to bring the lill dude here order some onion rings chicken burger nuggets and poutin. Well lets start with the onion rings, when we got them they were cold and burnt to the point of blackness the chicken burger had no mayo and when we asked for some the employes cut open a mayo bottle and put the smallest amount of mayo that they could scrape up. Next is the poutin, when received it was cold and hardly eny gravy seems like they left our food sitting out for a bit befor bringing it to us. The lil dude ate his nuggets only because he was hungry and didnt wanna wait to eat. When we asked for a refund back for the nasty food we were told no. When we asked for the manegers number we were told to wait till they come in. Now we have been told that we have to wait and call and if we keep asking for our money back we will be kicked out. I honestly nornally enjoy the food and enjoy bringing the kiddo here but when we are being treated like this it is just putting the buisness down and honestly it is all because of the three employess working here today to busy talking to each other and not paying attention to the costumers like they are supposed to. I will not be returning ever again if i do not get the appology and refun we deserve.

Love taking my kids here when we're in town. It is in an older building which gives off an outdated and dirty feel. The food isn't anything special either. Neither are the arcade games or prizes. But for young kids 10 and under the indoor playground is great during winter.

We had our 6 year olds birthday there yesterday and it was excellent . Staff is friendly and helpful , always asking if we need anything, kids had a blast ,food was great , watched them ice my sons party cake and cupcake right there , clean up a breeze ????would defiantly book a party again ????Thank you Maple Moose

I havent been to this place for quite sometime but when I was last there it was so hot in there for my little ones with no air conditioning. The kids are running and climbing around and felt the circulating air was very poor in this building . A lot of the games didn't work they had set up which was upsetting for the kids. Hopefully it has changed since my last visit.

dirty, over priced, terrible customer services & the food was awful & many items.were not available. i will not be going back edit* My family & my sister's family went there last month to be clear on the time I am reviewing. The staff were not friendly, sharp with their tone, perhaps they were having an off day. When i was young during my first employment, it was imperative to leave your attitude, problems at home... I think this young women was having the off day, not I..as the owner may assume. We made the best of what was provided at the facility, the kids may have had an excellent time.

Good for the kids, but it needs more conformable seating. Customer service could improve by having staff monitoring the actual play area instead of hanging out socializing out in the front. Otherwise it's a safe clean place for your kids to play at.

A great place to bring kids (2 to 10 year olds) on a rainy or cold day. They will run, climb, and slide to exhaustion.

This place is under new management and is a wonderful venue. We had a private event there. Facilities are clean, updated and appropriate for kids 12 & under. There is a toddler area that is great for the little ones. Food was well organized, fresh and tasty. Staff was helpful, attentive and available. Definitely a 'go to' place for parents and party organizers.

Wonderful play centre for kids to attend. We took two boys under six. They had a loads of fun. Even healthy snacks are available if you choose. Well worth the admittance fees.

The staff doesn't have a clue what is going on in the play centre. While I was there for two hours here are the problems we encountered: -Purchased a coffee then was told no coffee. Waited for 25 minutes then given a black coffee and asked to pay again. Explained I paid already, given a raised eyebrow and one cream, one sugar, no stir stick. -Laser game didn't work, no refund for tokens. -Staff didn't know how to work the photo machine though a sign on the machine read "Ask staff for help" -No secure place to store boots or shoes/jackets. -Swing smelled of urine -Slide smelled of urine -Grimy surfaces of older games and almost everything in the toddler area -Bathrooms.Are.Disgusting. -A puddle of vomit up in the structure that was still there 45 mins later (we left then)

I no longer feel good about taking my little ones here to play. The equipment is run down and rather dirty., with toys missing and deflated mats, the black light game room smells really awful and there were actually exposed electronic components in some broken parts on the electric riding toy games that were just covered with peeling tape- not safe for young kids! The food is really overpriced and they games don’t work. Staff chats instead of paying attention. Too bad because this is the only indoor play centre in the city.

I was there on boxing day so it wasn't busy at all. Only 3 to 4 families. The kids had alot of fun. It is a clean place. There is a laser/dark mystery room that smells bad though. Kids didn't mind that. The price is decent $7.99 for my toddler and adults are free considering we stayed there for hours. We ordered pizzas and it took a long time to come. It was the one guy working everything - selling the admittance tickets, buzzing you in, taking the food order and cooking it.

The play area is fine, but the arcade is horrid. Multiple times were my siblings tokens eaten by machines, and when I went to tell the staff about it they waited a whole 15 minutes before putting out of order signs on the games. Food and tokens are way overpriced, and with multiple parties going at once the place gets very crowded. Feels more like a McDonalds play place with healthier options and less plastic. The staff is very friendly and understanding, which is a redeeming quality of this place. I also like how there are more options than just an arcade and play place (small toddler area, sand box, large balls). This place could be great with a few improvements.

Most games are broken,very pricey for 2kids for what is offered $20.31!!!!......bought my children a cookie for $2.85 and was hard as a rock,they informed me that it was a day old????like a week old been here many times seems like place is going down hill,will not be returning and do NOT reccomend this place,We have had a child’s birthday 2 years in a row there and will not be returning this year????????

Great place for kids to play. Be prepared, have cash, as there isn't an ATM on site and there are lots of machines that take money, not just tokens. Staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating, quickly grabbing a bag of ice for a bump to one of the little ones running about.

Dirty place,they should keep it clean considering kids are playing there. Sliding tube is sticky and smells ...wonder why...i hope it was raisins or chocolate chips that we saw but the smell says something else was present....I will not be taking grand kids there again.

I went to Mapletops with my 7 children and we all had the time of our lives. The staff was super engaged and friendly, the food was amazing and the prices where very reasonable. The center was very clean and I cant wait to bring my children back again!

Maple Tops is a disgusting dump. I’ve been there several times with my children, but this past Tuesday was the final straw. The only reason I’ve given it several chances is I’m a forgiving person, and the kids seem to like it, because they don’t seem to know any better. Here are a few examples of the absolutely disgusting occurrences I have witnessed at Maple Tops: 1) On one occasion I ordered a plate of (VERY overpriced) onion rings. They came back burnt to a crisp, and there was a hair in one. I asked for a refund and the employees said that wasn’t possible, in a very rude and belittling tone. 2) One my time my wife went in to the washroom with my 4 year-old daughter and they looked into the toilet and not only was the bathroom extremely filthy with a vile scent, but there seemed to be some sort of animal claw poking out of the toilet. My wife was petrified and took my child out of the washroom and we left. 4) I overheard employees talking about there being asbestos in the kitchen. I asked if there was asbestos and a male employee said no, it was just the food. I was terrified!! 5) On another occasion, my daughter was playing in the ballpit (which is embarrassingly small) and there 20-30 ants crawling around the area. We were horrified and left right away!!! 6) On multiple occasions I have witnessed the owner Candi treating her staff as if they are brain dead, and insulting them for asking her simple questions about tasks they have. 7) Now, onto the final straw. This Tuesday I was visiting Maple Tops with my daughter and wife. I ordered chicken nuggets and when they were ready I took a bite and the middle was completely frozen. I asked an employee named Kira and she rolled her eyes and said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the owner. Disgusting that people like this are running a children’s centre. I then asked for more ketchup for my BURNT fries and she said “if you leave a tip”. I know this sounds completely far-fetched, but I assure you this is 100% true. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. They food is disgusting and overpriced (a powerade is $4.50), the owners and managers are some of the rudest people I have ever met (they are disgustingly rude to staff and customers), the entire facility reeks of moldy food, asbestos, and FECES. I have had minimal issues with staff, BUT the managers and owners have treated me like complete garbage. I am truly disgusted a place like this has replaced Wiggles and Giggles.

Great place and lots to do. Keeps kids busy for hours and they actually serve good food. From healthy foods for kids and greasy foods for adults lol. They even have birthday parties that they host.

1year daughter had fun! People at the front didn't seem very engaged or happy to be there. The place could use a proper cleaning. Ball pit and toddler slide were the highlights for my girl. Picnic bench table top style for the adults, free wifi. Overall it was solid, the cleanliness killed it for me but hey kids seemed happy!

The play structure may seem fun at first, but the limited number of paths, slides and activities will soon becoming boring. The Infant-Toddler area is small, and over-run by age inappropriate patrons. The floors are slippery, and can be a bit of a hazard. The food is over prices, about $3 for a cookie slightly bigger than an Oreo as an example. Another ding financially involves parents: only one parent is permitted per child, meaning both parents, grandparents or combination of any 2 adults cannot accompany one child, unless they also pay to enter. The staff are very friendly, but the owner treats them poorly. Talking down, condescending and acting as though they are incompetent in front of patrons is highly inappropriate, although acting in such a manner is inappropriate in any context. The birthday party areas, from my experience, are crowded and the loot bags are not worth the cost. Overall review: avoid this establishment, as it is not worth the cost.

Horrible food today. Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the staff. Asked to speak to a manager about a refund and they completely shot me down said there was nothing they can offer. Everything was burnt and cold.

Disgusting, overpriced, completely unprofessional owners! When approaching the owners to inform them of their wrongly posted hours we were verbally assaulted , sworn at and racially profiled. Then threatened with police. Absolutely appalled that these business owners can get away with treating other humans so poorly. We have been informed by others that there is history of this , and we aren’t the only ones who have been treated so poorly. Folks are coming forward and sharing similar experiences. Have a look at the responses they give to those who give them any constructive feedback on their other reviews they never take ownership and blame the customer. They are arrogant , rude and shameful , yelling at paying patrons in front of young children. Never going back to this “business” and I’m appalled that this can happen in our city.
