As a tourist to Sudbury we loved coming to this park. The kids worked off their energy on the climber and running through the splash pad after our long drive. The park was clean and the other patrons were friendly. It was a great place to spend an hour.

I take my little one there as often as I can. It's a small park anyone can enjoy. It has slides, swings and a splash pad for kids, and workout stations for the adults.

This is a great spot for taking kids who need to blow off some steam. The play equipment is modern and splash pad is fun for younger kids. There is also exercise equipment which adults can enjoy. The only thing that kinda sucks about this park is that there isn't very much in the way of shaded areas so that people can get out of the sun.

a wonderful Memorial to the 18 year old killed by a drunk driver(Walter Carter, already on parole after less than 3yrs incarceration) A fun spot as a serious reminder to continue the pressure against drunk driving.

DJ Hancock is a small but great park in the Southend. It is usually filled with children and there parents all summer long. This park is a Pokemon Go Gym. There is a fun playground, swings and exercise equipment here. By far the most popular area is the very enjoyable splashpad.

absolutely beautiful spot filled with laughter and giggles. my 1 yr old daughter starts flapping her hands when we pull in the parking lot. the silver lining of a terrible tragedy. would love some shade like a canopy and fencing on all sides. also a gate at the entry point would be nice as toddlers can get to the parking lot very quickly.

What a great playground for both adults and kids. I'd encourage you to learn the story of DJ and the purpose of this playground, in memory of his passing. Splash pad, beautiful landscaping, adult exercise machines, and a grand slide structure, what's not to like? Ample parking available and bathroom port-a-potties available.

It is located in a residential area with schools on either side with lot of playing facility for the children of age upto 12 . There are water sprouts which are operational during summer months. Several children make use of the facility. Now because of the lockdown the place is empty with the public following the lockdown. Last year it used to be busy. It has slides , swings , etc to help Young children come and spend sometime in the evening.
