No words reach enough to define the experience I had... Maybe the ravishing pictures could whisper a tale... I can spend eternity amidst these benevolent woods! There's so much scope for imagination... I'm bedazzled!

I love this trail...so scenic!

It was a beautiful chunk of untouched land. They mowed down a big chunk for new sewer pipes years ago and hasn't been the same

Jade Cheney

Beautiful. X

David Buck

Pretty and not hard trails.

John Zanin

A nice place to take a stroll through nature. The trails are not intimidating at all, and for the most part, the paths are pretty well covered with mulch so you don't have to worry about mud or puddles. The river usually flows rather slowly through the area in the summer, but in the spring when the snow melts, the water level gets quite high and some of the lower places will flood. It is a nice place to take a leisurely stroll through a river/woodlot ecosystem.

Dewan Karim

Virgin forest area. Great river view. Relaxing and calming place. Need insect repellent.

Jordon Van Pelt

Great place to go for a walk with the dogs. Next to a sanitation plant though.

Laurin Fenn

It was a nice natural area but filled with mosquitoes when we went. Even with deet we got bitten multiple times. It is probably more enjoyable after mosquito season.

Amanda Johnston Humphrys

Always a great walk with my dogs along the river, no way as busy as the main stretch in town. It is also close to the water treatment plant so at times it will obviously smell...but you can go further away to avoid it. It also gets pretty mucky after it rains...but it just rained. Everything will be wet. Give it a day and it's perfect again. Just get outside ????

Thomas O'Brien

Great spot for an easy nature walk by the Avon.

Florence Morris

Always a great walk. The different trail choices allow you to mix it up, and it is very peaceful. A couple of hills, but most of the grades are manageable for all.

This is an Awsome place to take a walk and go out into nature. There is a nice stream going through. It dose get a little buggy. It also can get vary muddy at some time’s. I wouldn’t recommend going at night because there are a few teepees that people may be living in.

Joan Smethurst

My husband and I walked the trail today and it was great, calming. Thought it would be nice as you are going through the trail if you had some signs saying where the paths go when you come to a fork.

Colin Soper

Nice quiet walk in the bush. With or without the dog.

Teresa Kutchaw

Wonderful little spot on the edge of town. Needs one more foot bridge to join the 2 sides.

alexanderracer

I rented a fat bike at Totally Spoke'd. Then rode it here and enjoyed a day of riding. Lots of hills. Great for cardio and you get to go really fast down the other side! Then i went to Soup Surreal to warm back up and got some last minute Christmas shopping in! Can't get any better then that! I will be returning to Stratford in a few weeks to do it again.

Matthew Kavelman

The forest is large and has a paths going along the river. Sometimes the forest smells bad from a nearby septic tank.

karen dietz

Just a short walk from home I enjoy the chance to get out and take in the peaceful atmosphere. I make sure to always have my camera on hand as I never know what may catch my eye.

Sandy Samuel

Do not go there anymore as it is muddy and some homeless people have been residing there. Feel so sad for them as there is no male shelter here in town.

Bob Turgeon

Great area to explore.

Ron & Holly Simpson

Nice track once we found a entrance to the park. Looked it up online but GPS took us to a street of houses... took a while to actually find the park. Would be nice if there was a bit more signage around the tracks for ppl who dont know their way around already

Mary Anne Moore

Great place to take the family for a easy walk through the forest.

Brian

Love this place, both summer and winter!
