This park offers Mesmerizing view with peaceful environment. A seasonal park with ample of children activities available while its open. Camp fire is allowed within regulations. The water is not bad for swimming. Kayaking ???? and other water fun stuffs can be enjoyed in ocean by the park.

Very disappointed upon arrival after driving 3 hours. Thought we were going to be at a spot by the water because that's what the picture of the campsite I selected on the Red Points Park online showed us instead we are surrounded by other RVs on all sides with no view of the water which is what we specifically wanted. So much for our anniversary weekend and the first time travelling since Covid 19 and atlantic provinces went green. Really not a "happy camper" right now.????????????????????????????

This is a beautiful campground with a stunning beach. The slop of the land provides amazing views from most sites.

I had a friend recommend this campground for our stay in PEI and we were not disappointed. The views and the beach here are amazing. The staff are great and prices are really good for what you get. We had a tent site near the washrooms and thankfully they were very clean. While there are no food/groceries within walking distance, it is a ~10min drive to the nearby town of Souris which has everything you'll need. It is also a short drive to Basin Head Beach which has great supervised swimming and some little food/souvenir shops.

Beautiful park. I've been going to this park for over 30 yrs. But I'm a bit concerned about what appears to be the growing seasonal residents (too many). Same seasonals in same lots every year. I'm worried it will soon not be a park for everyone.

One of the best view while camping in PEI. First of all reserve in advance or you'll have a crappy place somewhere between an RV and a trailer. From the site "O" we were having a nice view not too far from the bathroom and was quiet. For the next time either reserve site O, since it is the last one so no neighborh blocking the view, or one of the sites on the edge of the sea. Bathrooms were clean and not too old. Service was great and friendly. In resume, get a reservation and get one of the sites (preferably site O or one near the sea). Happy camping.

This place is great! All kinds of camping for all kinds of campers (tent, camper, RV, etc)! The staff is wonderful! They're really kind and connect well with the campers. It's not super packed as far as camp sites go which means the site is super peaceful and the beach is relatively empty. We've had a really pleasant visit and look forward to a repeat in a few years.

HOT, so obsolete the plumbing since the construction I think, I could not adjust to the desired temperature, I arrived around 10:30 am, I ask to have a fireplace to make a fire there was none on the land, the lady tells me that the fire index is extreme so no fireplace no problem because it was indicated on the large sign at the entrance, in the evening I walk on the campsite and many campers made a fire , the employees didn't say anything, very disappointed because I wanted to cook on the fire! The play facilities for the kids are just as old as the Internet and for one device only and it is slow. The narrow beach, compared to Basin Head Park, is full of seaweed and there are jellyfish, you shouldn't touch them because they burn our skin, but that's not because of the camping! (Original) Le 17 août 2021 Point positif; le camping est bien entretenu - Points négatifs; Les installations(2 pour tout le monde) les douches ainsi que la salle de lavage sont ensembles donc plus d'eau chaude pour la douche elle est gelée, il faut aller à l'autre bâtiment, il y a de l'eau seulement très CHAUDE , tellement désuète la plomberie depuis la construction je pense ,je n'ai pas pu ajuster à la température voulu, je suis arrivé vers 10h30 am, j demande d'avoir un foyer pour faire un feu il n'y en avait pas sur le terrain , la dame me dit que l'indice de feu est extreme donc pas de foyer pas de problèmes car c'était indiqué sur la grande pancarte à l'entrée, le soir arrive je marche sur le camping et nombreux campeurs faisaient un feu, les employés n'ont rien dit, très déçu car je voulais cuisinier sur le feu! Les installations de jeux pour les enfants sont auss vieux L'Internet et pour seulement un appareil et il est lent . La plage étroite à comparer à celle du parc Basin Head , est pleines d'algues et il y a des méduses (jellyfish) il ne faut pas les toucher car elles nous brulent la peau, mais ca n'est pas à cause du camping!

Beautiful campground. Nice point of view. We stayed 2 nights and it was peaceful and calm. There is no trees between the campsites on the ocean side so there is not much privacy. You can access the little beach directly from the campground.

We camped in our tent for 3 nights. Make sure you tent is solid, because it's super windy. We had lot 21 wich was a corner lot (so less neighbours) and it was nice and big. In my opinion, one of their best spots We were right next to the beach so our view was AMAZING. Their beach is beautiful, not crowded at all. You can easily relax with a book or take a nap. Their facilities were cleaned regularly. There was a line up for showers in the mornings, so plan ahead if you want to avoid the rush. The downside was there are very little trees so you are basically camping in a field next to everyone else, not much privacy. Thankfully, our neighbours were quiet and respectful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely go back.

Normally I dont like big field campgrounds, but the dramatic views and beautiful beach made this an incredible spot. The women in the office were also very sweet- when I was checking out they said "oh you had the honeymoon suite spot", when I told them why that was appropriate in more than one way (on our honeymoon) they declared "I wish you told us! We like to decorate the site for newlyweds!" Then they paid for our ice

The people are lovely, but they need to plant some trees here. It's like campi g in a field. There is nothing to tie your tarps to if you are tenting and it rains. And they really squish people in there. No privacy at all. The bathroom lights stay on all night and are super bright.

Nice camp ground. Clean and lots of space. I would chose site 39 if possible, it's a corner site that has a nice view of the ocean. Walking distance to a beautiful beach and a close drive to the east point light house and basin head beach.

Me and my family booked a site on this campground very early this year (I think we were one of the first). Because of that we wrote in an email that it would be very nice if we get a good site (if it is possible at the waterfront). But in the end they gave us site nr. 1 and this site was terrible and turned this day of our holiday to a horror event. Firstly it was very loud on this site because it was directly next to the reception and the gateway so we heard every car that wanted to get inside (even in the night). Besides the lights of the reception were shining the whole night. This made it impossible for us to sleep and get a restful night. Secondly the ground of this site was that uneven that the plates and glasses fell from the table and we hat to sleep the other way round. Thirdly there was no privacy. We did not eat outside and made no campfire because everybody in the near looked to us/ into our livingroom and went across our site. The guys from the reception were totally uninterested, they did not care about our problem and did not try to find an alternative for us. So in the end we had to pay the same for our site as for one at the waterfront. We left the campgrond one day earlier (we booked for two nights) and had to search the whole day for an alternative place to sleep. In our opinion this campground was terrible, a pure disappointment and the low of our holiday. We will never come back.

Best campground in East. Great water views and many big rig friendly sites up the hill. Beach is excellent with amazing walk at low tide to Little Harbour Beach.on right. Would be 5 star but clean washrooms and showers need some updating.
