This place is awesome. Family friendly and really helpful owners. Tent sites overlooking the beach are lovely.

My family and I ( wife and two kids under 12 ) stayed here for 3 days while travelling the island. We made our travel plans ahead of time via telephone and the staff were exceptionally friendly and informative. Upon arrival ( we arrived on a Sunday afternoon) there was a slight mix up with our reservations but it was quickly taken care of and we were given an adequate site for our 35 foot trailer. We are from Ontario and one aspect is be sure to account for island time. Nothing is opened past 5 or 6 and many things are closed on Sundays ( liquor store ) The pricing as reasonable for full hook up. The beach was amazing red sand and ocean views from all campsite. The campground could make use of putting more garbage bins around the beach and play ground. We noticed there was a lot of garbage mixed in with the sand. While it's unfortunate that people litter , perhaps adding more garbage disposal and having staff pick up garbage on a daily basis would allow for less of this to occur. Family is very friendly father and daughter team who stay on site and are always available. There are few amenities . Basic toilets and shower If needed. We didn't use them nut always check out facilities in the event we have to / curiosity . They were kept clean. There was a common picnic shelter that had paints and games available for the kids. There was a washer and dryer. I was constantly competing and coming into conflict with one staff member who was attempting to do laundry that day. She was aware I was trying to do a load and in my opinion should have allowed guests to do laundry first. But she kept doing several loads which led me to have to keep checking around 5 to 10 tines to see if the machines were free. Overall the view is fantastic. The owners are amazingly friendly and accommodating. The sites are well spaced. Park was good for the kids and kept them entertained. The beach was long and big dunes. We would highly recommend this campsite and see ourselves returning in the future.
