This Park is included in the category of Festival.
Omg, so pretty. Friendly people, help stop traffic so my disabled son could cross. Highly recommended.
So much fun!
Lovely display of Christmas scenes and lights. Lovely horse carriage ride for $2.00 a person. Free if you are under 5. Lovely hills to slide little ones in a sled around.
Yearly tradition to visit. Never a disappointment.
Beautiful Christmas display that takes up the whole park. It's free, great for the kids, and adults that want to go back to that special time in their lives.
The park was beautifully lit up ????
Always a great Christmas when we get to go to walk the Simcoe lights. Had a blast and was so thankful my wallet was turned in when it feel out my pocket.
Love coming every year, it's fun for the whole family.
They brought back the Santa with one red eye "terminator Santa" and music is playing while you're in the main park. It's a really nice park to visit when there's actually snow on the ground you can get a hot cider or a coffee and enjoy a nice walk with friends and family. It's a nice place to visit if you're looking to waste time or showing visiting family over the holidays. Also you can go for a sleigh ride with beautiful horses to tour the panorama.
It's a gorgeous park especially around Winter Holidays ????
so adorable - great for kids:) lots of things to look at and a cute apple donut/cider place inside the park!! best thing about simcoe
Amazing place with lots of lighted figures and stands , pretty big
The Christmas lighting in the park were spectacular and one can feel the wonders of lights right there. Specially the kids love it.
It's very nice to bring young children or even your boyfriend/girlfriend. It's very beautiful
Always beautiful. The cost of the horse ride is a little much, for the length and if you have a larger family with older kids.
Its a nice place to walk through with your family! The children loved it!
Always a special treat. Didn't see the big bad wolf and three little pigs float this year. Did straw house pig come down with covid? ????
Beautiful display of christmas lights and christmas scenes. Little houses set up with christmas displays from popular christmas movies and stories. The pond looks beautiful with the lights shining off the water and the ducks swimming. Christmas music plays in the background to enhance the experience. A little shed that offer hot chocolate for purchase is located near the centre back of the park. This makes for a lovely, FREE night of fun and entertainment during the Christmas season. Well worth the drive from Hamilton.
Feels very old school and I loved it, I love the fact a town the size of Simcoe can put on something like this , skip Timmy's there is a little spot to buy hot chocolate and snacks, they put on a good show and take some time and drive around town alot of the homeowners do their houses up nicely too , definitely a new Christmas tradition for us .
My family has missed the "regular" panorama for the last couple of years. We are very excited to have been able to see all the beautiful lights and displays again this year. A must visit for the holiday season!
It was beautiful although there is no "Christmas Panorama" in July ????
A light show worth to be seen
Christmas Panorama is beautiful.
We have been here countless times over the years. A lot of time and work goes into this massive Christmas display. You can appreciate the new scenery as well as vintage that go all the way back to my childhood. We are never disappointed and it is one of the only places you can go that is free (so you won't be broke at the end of the night). Truly feels like Christmas! AND if you go with fun people, it is that much better.
It's not that exclusive lighting but it's good at Christmas night. Children's will enjoy the lighting at night. But the problem is it's not properly decorated.
What a beautiful sight to see . Christmas lights are so spectacular...????????????????????
Drove 3 hours just to check this out. Was great! they could add WAY more lights though.
Not the fanciest Christmas light show, but we still enjoy a lot. It's not crowded at all, just be chill and enjoy the colorful lights and good vibes.
Great display set to music!
Lovely display in town. Kiddo loves the lights and the nightmare before Christmas display! I love this little family tradition , walk the park, the delicious doughnuts and apple cider. Surprisingly for a Friday night it wasn't so crazy. Only thing that was a down fall was a few peeps who were smoking in the park. I kinda feel it's a bit unnecessary since there were a lot of Littles there. Could have gone off to another spot less busy.
Simcoe Christmas lights are very nice... Still a fair amount of ppl around and light displays.. feel free to park pretty much anywhere... Even though there are no parking signs... There are acouple of vendors selling apple cider drinks etc... Mostly just come look at the lights...
Kids had lots of fun, plenty of street parking, tons of great exhibits, and so good to see all the community involvement!
Loved the outing. Paths were family and stroller friendly. Lots of dogs on leashes. We spent bring $2-5 a person if you want a hot drink/treats. There are porta potties but no sanitizer. Bring your own.
A staple in Simcoe for many years. Not as big as I remember for displays but possibly due to damage cause of vandalism ( smartin up people!!!) It will rebound with the thanks of volunteers and care locals put into it!!!
Love it ...great family time, love going every year with my hubby and kids and enjoying the chilly lit up walk with a hot chocolate!
Worth the drive for an incredibly fun time with the kids. Lots of lights and displays that are colorful and entertaining to the eye. My kids had a great time walking around looking at all the displays. A new Christmas tradition!
Christmas panorama is always awesome! My son just loves it and it's always fun for the whole family.
I've wanted to go for years and finally made it with my niece and nephew in tow. Definitely worth checking out and make sure to dress warm.
Its magical with all the lights. Not to be missed.
Love that they have a little market place now! Definitely have a huge number of lights however it seems they just seem to be throwing whatever strands they have together. And some look like they were literally tossed into the tree. I still visit multiple times during the season.
I have been going here since I was a kid. I come here now as an adult to sit and watch the geese. Very beautiful and peaceful.
Lights are pretty! Just don’t forget to dress warm. ????
It is a nice relaxing walk with pretty lights. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed it thoroughly and found it romantic.
Great displays. Hadn't been in over an a decade. Will definitely be back again next year. Everyone that puts this together does a great job.
Beautiful park no matter the season! Ice cream festival is a treat and the Christmas lights are a family tradition!
The park is filled with lights, Santa's, classic Christmas and store book light up characters all in one big park. The little ones love all the lights and horse-drawn buggy rides.
One of Simcoe's most beautiful contributions to the Christmas holiday season. Known around the world as a holiday "must see", locals and out of town visitor's alike marvel at the displays and other events occurring in the park during the display. Adults and children alike all enjoy the lighting displays, proudly created by local individuals and businesses.
A great place to bring the kids for Christmas cheer
Even though it's always the same things, it's really nice to go here as a family tradition. We have a lot of memories of mishaps and fun things that we've done there which makes it very memorable
One star for parking and ease of access to park. The main street in front of the park is used as parking, however the signs clearly say no parking anytime. Five stars to the people that put up the Christmas lights.
I have been going to this park every Christmas since I was little to see the Christmas lights and I love that I can now share this experience with my grand kids. They put on an amazing light display with lots of things to look at for everyone.
Many of the lights were not working. It was very half put together. I usually love the lights, but this year, it was just not that good.
Best part of the winter season is walking through the Christmas panorama. Friendship/music festival in the summer has a lot of interesting vendors and live music as well
Very excellent lights. Tasty cider. Just a fun time walking around looking at the great light displays!
So many lights! Parking is a bit chaotic. Fun place to take the kids/dog and wander around.
Always a spectacular show. The lights are absolutely gorgeous especially against the snow. Such a great treat to see every year. I love the ride around the park on the horse drawn trolley.
Really well done, definitely worth the drive.
Had fun with family. Amazing lights and ofcourse hot cider
Very nice winter lights experience. Kids had alot of fun!
Not like it use to be. But under the conditions it is beautiful
Much larger than anticipated and a great place for a date, family outing, or a nice stroll on a cold dark day. I love how the place is not commercialized and there was only one vendor selling local donuts and local Apple Cider with proceeds going to charity. The displays are beautiful and the entire park is lit up and looks absolutely stunning. There are plenty of displays to see, and the lighthouse and bridge over the water are an amazing backdrop that has to be seen in person.
The kids had fun. This year there was lots of snow. The addition of the tree lights and the new light house made it better than I remember from past years.
A good place to visit especially during winter vacation from 25 Dec to 05 Jan. The lighting is accompanied by play-figures for kids to have their photos clicked. The place is nicely decorated with a small pond and lots of ducks! Free Street Parking is available along with public washrooms. A nice getaway about 2 hours drive from GTA. The area has good collection of fast food chains for a quick snack.
I get impressed for the beautiful view and peaceful place.
Wow! Really impressive holiday displays! So many different and amazing lights and decorations to look at. My family had a very nice time despite the cold weather! There's hot apple cider and horse drawn carriage rides. Great job Simcoe!
My kids and I enjoyed it there is so many different things to see is a very family-oriented outing
Nice display..not as nice as pictures but worth a look...drove from Waterloo..was worth the family night out...wouldve been nice if carollers were around instead of bad sounding speakers..
It was a drive through this year. I can only imagine how lovely it would be to experience this cute beautiful place in a regular time. The residents really take a lot of effort to put up lights as well as cut outs surrounding this river area as well as their houses. It was free, though walking around was not allowed due to you know what. Like clockwork they switched off all the lights at 10 pm. Not that anyone is complaining though.
So much fun and lots to see, I would recommend going and checking this free event out! Yes they have snack shops to purchase hot drinks and treats also if you wish to!
Some pretty neat displays and some questionable ones. . .lol. Ample parking along the streets and a nice walk - bundle up for the cold weather.
I love this place an event it was my first time to see this creative art show and I was blown away by each stage set up an light show. It's beautifully creative thanks to all the hard working n dedicated team that pur this all together. I just want to say thank you all an may this new CENTURY be filled with many blessings in all areas of life. Peace heath joy n love

Ty for making it possible to b able to continue to do this with my family n i hope my grandbabies to someday when that time comes. We have many many years with memories here n some pretty great ones to, that r no longer here as well. Def some amazing memories n lots of laughs n plenty of love that will we will cherish threw the years ty for making that possible!!!
The new "Nightmare Before Christmas" display is amazing! We go every year, and it's always a blast. Pretty lights, sleigh rides, lots of photo opportunities and little canteens for buying hot chocolate/cider. It is a pretty big display, so I would suggest warm clothing for walking. Also, expect parking to be a bit hectic on the weekends.
Love this place. Reminds me of my childhood. Love sitting in the park soaking up the sun and watching the ducks swim in the water and the traffic go by.
We loved this place. It has so much decorations, but what we love most of all is that it actually included Christian decorations seeing as that’s what Christmas is all about. Great job!!
This is only a Christmas Panorama at CHRISTMAS. The rest of the year it's a beautiful park to relax in.
Some of the displays are getting a little dated. Still great with all the Christmas lights, brings me back to my childhood.
All the lighting was amazing! Great experience for the little ones! Brings joy and happiness to see something so beautiful.
Kids had a blast as always. Such a beautiful park all lite up. Horse carriage super cool
It's free to go and walk around to check out all their displays. They have an lots of lights and displays through out the park which is great. Super pretty and very nicely lit. If you go around 9pm on weekday it is less busy. Takes about 45 mins to walk through and see everything. Plenty of.parking on the streets near by so easily accessible. There is a path you can follow to or just walk where ever. Would highly recommend for an evening walk or to take some great pictures. :)
I'm sure it's very nice in the winter. In the summer, it's also very nice. Nice walking paths and well maintained.
I just love this part of downtown Simcoe.. I never get tired of this visit ???? It's quite.. Well maintained Ducks ...geese..birds ..beautiful spot .. You can go here for a bit to eat ..picnic tables are here.. Garbage disposal.. Water ???? Or just walk ...
Nice place to walk and enjoy the lights.
Beautifully done again for another year. My kids loved it.
I love these lights
Great experience ever time It's absolutely beautiful and it brings you right in the Christmas spirit
Wonderful Christmas Light display! Worth the time to visit and enjoy the delicious treats as you walk!
Perfect for the Family or even a nice walk with your loved one. The entire experience was awesome, Cider, Cinnamon donuts all for a small fee. If you get the chance take the Carriage ride, again for a small fee it was so worth it. From my family to everyone involved we thank you for such an amazing Christmas experience. Hats off to Simcoe Merry Christmas
Cool for the kids, and it's a nice little walk. Lights are dated some displays are 30+ years old. Overall a cool thing to do especially during covid.
A good display if lights around the park. There is a horse and wagon ride for 2 dollars. A good place to take a family. There are waahroom and apple cider stand as well.
My mom and I had a wonderful lunch in the park!
Simcoe Xmas panorama is very special to me and any person who visits the park will get the Xmas spirit feeling the lights are many, twinkling in the night, the displays are magnificent walk ,drive, or take a bus all I can say is WOW.
It was beautiful, a great place to visit with the kids.
Awesome. Great lights as usual
Beautiful lights display in Wellington Park,Simcoe❤
Always nice to take a stroll through the park and see the lights. I recommend taking extra clothing for the kids when you go. It always seems just a tad colder than it is. Bring some twoonies if you want to take a carriage ride. Washrooms and hit drinks are available in the park.
Very nice display! There is an on-site heated bathroom. We visit annually and it's always worth the drive!
It was once again an enjoyable family Christmas tradition that we have been doing with our son for over 15 years. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy such a beautiful array of display of lights and the true meaning of Christmas.
No lights Sunday's afternoon ?
The only reason we gave it a 3 star is the monotony of the displays. It is free with lots to see but going every year to see the same outdated displays get old. We will credit that some vandalized displays are now replaced with newer ones.
Was beautifull just wish was hot chocolat for kids and adult there
So lovely every year! It doesn't change much, if at all, so that's a bit of a bummer, but it's a wonderful way to spend an evening to get into the Christmas spirit!!
Wow, what can I say. We were there for our first time around xmas and it was spectacular. It was damp and cold but we had an excellent time. Keep up the great work people of simcoe. A lot of other cities could learn from you. Beautiful ☃️
Good light show .plenty of lights .pleasant evening walk .quite busy.
This used to be much better. It is nothing like we remembered as children.
It was so Amazing and everything looked so good. We enjoyed apple cider donuts that were so good mmmm. We had our Husky with us and we were nervous as this was his first visit, there were few other dogs there and it was so nice to see everyone kept their dogs close and cleaned up.. missed the wagon ride as because of covid, they weren't available. Way to Go Simcoe ????❤
Lights are no match for Niagara but great doughnuts and cider. Missed the sleigh ride as it arrived very late.
Drove from Hamilton to see the lights. Worth the drive for sure. Kids and wife loved it. Dress warm.
My wife and I have a new tradition of goint to see the lights with her sister and boyfriend. We got to go on the horse drawn wagon this year as we came too late the first year. Even though there was no snow really this year it was still nice.
Another year another display, many year ago you couldnt count the buses of tourists and festival goers that would swarm the town of Simcoe .The spirit and energy of Christmas in full swing that's the Panarama. From kids to the elderly theres a spot that touches everybody when those lights go on.
Went to the friendship festival and it aas very nice. Alot of porta-johns so they didnt get gross quickly and alot of different tents to shop for mischellanious things. Live music was playing as well.
Great for all the family
One of my favorite places to visit with the family over the Christmas holidays. A family tradition that will always be remembered. Love this place 100%
Great job as always. Make sure to visit the booths and get some hot apple cider and cinnamon donut
Was not at all like I remember. I realize the whole covid thing but was really looking forward to the "walk through" it is a shame we could use some joy this season
Awesome family outing
This place is absolutely Awesome... I would suggest everyone to go & visit this place. You would be so amazed. It was my first time in 2018/19 As I only moved to Simcoe in March of 2018 & I will be definitely going every year as there is so much to see.
Awesome yet again...free hot chocolate and cookies...witnessed Santa from afar...lots of people but room to distance...some people with masks and some without...nice light show and some updated displays this year...warmest year since we have been going!!
Nice place to take your kids or your kids at heart.
Not a lot of parking near the park, but doesn't stop me from coming each year. Beautiful display, free and an easy walking trail
Awesome place for viewing the Christmas lights especially for kids.. the parking is right outside the place and if you’re lucky you get one right near the entrance to the place. Few stations/stalls of Hot chocolate, apple cinnamon donut and …
Really pretty but wish there would have been some Christmas music playing or even a band. Also would be nice if there were more Santa related floats and less of the religious. Just personal preference.
We picked up food downtown and had to escape the druggie screaming about having no feet. The cigarettes and trash cans were manageable in comparison.
Is a cool place to go for walk to see some beautiful Christmas displays!
Wasn't the usual amount of lights. To be honest it is a long drive for not much reward this year. Maybe they were having trouble getting volunteers, but it wasn't like it has been in past years.
Great little walking park, great lights. Hot chocolate available .
A great place for people to get there Christmas cheer on
Love walking around these lights this time of year. But this year it seemed to be bigger and busier. Was a beautiful night. Beautiful lights and displays.
This is a winter picture. But it's very pretty in the summertime. A nice time to visit is the August long weekend when they have the Lynn River music and Crafts Festival.
The *Manger* scene was well presented & a tremendous amount of time spent setting …
