You will be able to see the feddbacks of people like you who purchased the products of McCowan District Park (Park) in the area close to Scarborough (Canada).
To this day the business receives a score of 4.5 out of 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is basically the best one, and it's based on a high number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Park is classified in the category of Park.
It’s a nice park, with splash park for kida slot of space for you to play soccer or different space or just hang out.
Went to this park for Ice Skating and I absolutely loved the experience..
Nice place for walking and playing soccer.
It's a nice big park with a jungle gym, soccer fields, skating rink and great walking/bike paths.
Brand new outdoor skating rink and path in the winter - with a building to sit, warm up and change your skates. In the spring to fall a great playground, and grounds for soccer cricket, paths for walking and learning to ride bikes.
Went skating and had a blast. They are really strict with covid and it was nearly impossible to get on the list to skate. But I appreciate the precautions they are taking. Very fun :)
Sure has changed over the years. Now there is so much more to do here than play soccer. There is a water play area, skating path used to rollerblade/skate in summer and ice skate in the winter.
Love the field. The grass is the right height, the field is clean and it's mowed properly
Nice Park for walking running or if you want to relax yourself. Washrooms are available and parking spots.
Great rink and best skate path in the city I have experienced. Occasional technical difficulties with the path and rink resulting is less than perfect ice.
Enjoyed some skating here. It was Hockey Day (great for kids!). I don't have children so the music was pumping WAY too loud for my old ears.
Where is the basketball court? My son and his friends use to love to play basketball there and is looking forward to playing there again once it's done. Now as the work is becoming more complete I can't see any indication that there is going to be one. That's so unfair since there was one there before. Basketball has become a mainstream sport in this city just a hockey is so why is it not respected as such. Especially in this neighborhood where there is a lot ethnic diversity. I'm hoping I am wrong and there is going to a basketball court here at McCowan District Park. Otherwise SHAME ON YOU TORONTO. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
I only checked the west entrance by bike, retreating when I saw a steep hill. But it's a fine spot. Accessible from the east or west by bike along easy elevations. And Brimley Road has a full and protected bike lane on both northbound & southbound lanes. The park map indicates great features I want to explore.
Nice park, but accessible washroom door does not work and does not lock .
May activities for kids to have fun - soccer ground - playground with two slides - water splashpad - skate learning track - bike riding - ice hockey arena - short walking - open fields to play around
Nice park with soccer fields, a splash pad and a hockey rink. It has a beautiful walking/biking trail that makes you feel like you are hiking in the woods
Fantastic outdoor rink with a skating path beside it.
Good place for a early morning or evening walk
Nice place to walk around, enjoy the nature, riding skate, play golf, play soccer.Great place for children playing.Recently they make a water park.Great Place at all.Enjoy !
A great place in Scarborough to get a clear view of the sun's path. Plus there's fish in the ponds and a nice peaceful feeling from walking along it's nature path.
Great park, needs more parking
Skating path is well maintained and has friendly staff
Has a hockey rink and a ring of ice right beside it for casual skates
Lovely skating rink and great change room facility with lots of space and clean washrooms.
Was there the other night skating. If you love a trail-like feel but don't want to go far, this is a good place. Every once in a while I could hear the train go by, but other than that it was great!
Went to the park at night for a skate and it was a blast. The change room was clean and warm and spacious. I didn't not see any lockers or anything but left my shoes inside and it was fine. The area around the rink path is covered with foam and grass so its easy to jump off and on. There is an actual rink aswell but it seems to be more for hockey pickup games and such. The ice path isnt too long but longer than most circular rinks. There are various benches ans rock seating around the rink. It also has a few plastic skating aids.
Like it was good ????
Great place for having ice skating fun !
This is a place where you can have your ice skate and you can play ice hockey
Great outdoor ice for both family skaters and hockey player. Public skate is possible till 10pm almost everyday during winter time.
A lovely park for walking in with a friend. Scenic and well-kept trail.
Big open space to play different football, soccer, cricket, etc. with family and friends. Beautiful sunset view. Not too busy therefore not to worry about social distancing. Groups of 5-6 family members can really enjoy for an hour or so. Ample parking spaces. Come to this Park if you think the beaches or other lake front parks are too risky. Get outdoors, enjoy the summer, and stay safe ????.
Great experience skating today at the skating Trail. Staff was friendly.
GreT place to take the kids!
Nice place for the children and the whole Family to run around and have some fun.
Skating very crowded. Indoor change room closed, so limited space to put on skates.
Great rink and operated by staff. My son loves going to skate with his friends. It also feels safe.
It’s a really good outdoor place lots of things to do here. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone
Park is clean... Plenty of parking... both kid and dog friendly :)
Great place to catch the sunrise.
Great place to enjoy an outdoor skate on an evening with family and friends. Nice to get outside during the winter and enjoy the fresh air.
Well kept; the place is so clean; very spacious play area, walking area; well maintained
I was a bit soft today but firmed up as temp dropped a bit Always nice clean and warm change room
Grass field. Dirt and gravel parking with lots of potholes. Kids always have fun so the fields do the job.
Lots of space, conveniently located. Has a short bike trail
This is a great place to bring your kids to play and it's pretty secluded
Nice outdoor refrigerated skating path and heated chalet! This is going to be a popular spot this winter!
Fun little skate trail. A little busy at 2pm hy thinned out as the day went on
Great skating trail. Lots of family fun.
Great place for walk and play some sports!
Good environment but little parking problem
Awesome place for all.
Wow! What a fantastic ice skating park! It’s clean, well kept and super fun.
Nice n clean place to play and sit.
Excellent winter day experience at McCowan District Park. There's a full sized rink with Boards used for shinny hockey all day starting with younger kids in the morning, progressing to teens in the afternoon and adults in the evening. Right next to it is a skating trail they may be about 200 metres around. Both are maintained by Zamboni and well lit at night with an indoor change facility. Finally, there is a small hill behind the rink for tobogganing. Something for everyone...from morning until the evening. Enjoy!
Great outdoor rink and skating trail.
Great place for skating!
We had a great experience skating here on Thursday night. We made online reservations for 8pm for the Trail. There is a skating rink adjacent to the skating trail. Both looked nice, we are relatively new skaters so it was nice for us to try the trail. The staff were attentive and the registration onsite ran smoothly. There is an indoor area but currently closed to the public because of covid. There is a parking lot with accessible parking and a washroom on site. Lots of benches to put on your skates and take breaks.
I really like the new skate trail at the park. I'd never been to this nearby park until the trail opened. The heated changeroom next to the trail is well appointed and fully set up for walking around with your skates on (rubberized floors extend into the bathrooms). There is a drinking fountain/water bottle filling station. Bring your own snacks and thermos. The trail itself isn't terribly long but it's been thoughtfully designed. It's a loop with a garden in the centre with plants chosen that have winter appeal. There are benches and landscape rocks around the loop to sit and take a rest. There are also skating aids available for learning skaters. The rink gets flooded 4x a day, according to the posted sign. Plenty of free parking. No skate rental. Enjoy!
Well kept park with plenty of space to play.
Very organized during the lockdown. Everyone is given a time slot to skate. Even though appointment is recommended they will take drop ins as well.
Amazing outdoor skating rink. They have a heated indoor change room and a rubber path to the rink so your skates don't get ruined.
It has a nice walking trail. Great place to unwind and relax.
Took years to finally finish it..but it was well worth the wait Everyone loves it
Love the trail and all the greenery. There is a large open space for chilling in the park and walking the trail.
We had good outdoor skating fun. Went early (around 10 am) and got in after a 5 minute wait. No indoor changing, but there's a good amount of benches to use. Not too crowded when we went. It I could see a line forming as we left. Kids taking names and skate patrol were helpful/respectful. It gets pretty cold from the wind off the open field nearby. Bundle up!
It has a park where everyone can play, it has 2 big fields which is really nice, they have basketball courts too and they're building a hockey rink which would allow for more diversity of sports.
Beautiful rink. Has a washroom and a heated change room
Pretty neat hidden gem in Scarborough, contains both a skating rink and a short skating trail.
This park is for the whole family. It has a nice hockey rink open all year round in addition to a skating rink. It also has two large soccer fields, a playground for the little ones and a trail that runs from McCowan Rd through to Brimley Rd
Love this place.huge ice rink and you can toboggan on the soccer field
A great neighbourhood place to skate.
Needs a skatepark like they originally planned
Fun skating track in the winter!
McCowan district park is located at McCowan Road Scarborough, south side of Eglinton Avenue East. The park contains two soccer fields, a hockey field and a skating rink. The parking is huge. It is a nice place to burn calories whether being in one of those fields or walking around while your children can be in the playground.
Great park for a quick/last minute trip with the kids. Has plenty of parking, a nice playground and an awesome soccer field.
Very nice place to be there with your family specially with kids.
This is one of the City of torontos better parks go there all the time
All up I have no hesitation to recommend this park.
Nice open and calm space with a fairly small children’s park.
Perfect park for evening walk and kids to have fun.
Skating at new skate path. Many of Georgia's classmates are there. Great community park.
Should have come here some time ago. They've done a great job with the park.
Park is place to relax no matter the season. Help yourself to live your life with nature. Enjoy folks.
This park has a cool walking trail, but sometimes there’s being bad smell
This Park is SO HUGE You can do so much there. Lots of open space to Run Exercise outdoors. The Whole park is kept in great shape thanks to The City Parks&Recreation Workers. Kids all Love the Playground and The skating Rink outdoors A MUST see Park
Nice quite place to relax. Kids friendly. Beautiful park
It was awesome not a lot of people little hidden gem in Scarborough. Glad I found it.
Very good place for all seasons. One of our closest place to go for outdoor skating.
Great park to skate during the winter. Plenty of things to do during the summer months, playground, soccer fields and exploring through the path that runs from Brimley Rd all the way to Scarborough go station...
Beautiful park! Great trail rink.
Nice place overall. Staff are helpful and easy going. Park is well maintained and services all work well.
It's hard to find any outdoor skating rinks, let a lone a skating loop like this one. The refrigeration means you can even skate while it's above 0°. After they send the Zamboni out they swap directions, which is excellent for practicing both of your edges.
Waterpark. Rink. Soccer field. Trail. & Perfect smoking spot ????
Spacious park with 2 full sized soccer fields, 1 gazebo, benches, lots of greenery, and small attractions for the kids (slides, swings, etc). It also has sufficient parking.
Has a nice small skating trail for leisure skating and also a nice outdoor rink for shinny. Shinny can get quite busy at night time though.
Just an average park for playing and walking but no fun instruments
Great new place for outdoor skating. Facilities are great.
choice between skating on the rink if it's available the day of or the skating path they provide! usually gets busy around noon into the afternoon, lots of kids and families! always have to remember to bundle up, gloves and hats is a must!!!!!
Amazing skating facilities. Beautiful outdoor loop with new indoor changing space and available aids for learning. Note, no equipment rental or sharpening on site, come prepared for fun.
Very nice and big space park for kids to enjoy and have fun
Great new skate trail..it's a short loop but great exercise and way for you to learn to skate. Nice and local really good for neighborhood and Scarborough in general. Close to restaurants like dairy Queen and McDonald's. Near bus route Eglinton. Warm building to change from boots to skates or to sit and take a rest. Hope to see more of these types of facilities in the near future throughout the city. Helps promote Canadian culture and lifestyle.
Love this park! Splash pad is nice, my son loves it!
THERE'S TWO BEAUTIFUL SKATING RINKS SET UP AT THIS PARK WHERE YOU CAN GO SKATING BY YOURSELF OR WITH YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS OR LOVED ONES. IT'S SET UP BY THE CITY OF TORONTO. THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND ORGANIZED ALSO THERE ARE PUBLIC WASHROOMS PROVIDED AND A PARK ON SITE. THE ONLY THING IS WHEN YOU WANT TO GO SKATING MAKE SURE THAT YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE THROUGH THE CITY OF TORONTO. AND IT'S BRING YOUR OWN SKATES. FACIAL MASK ARE REQUIRED, AND PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE WITH YOUR DISTANCE BETWEEN SKATERS. THIS IS FUN FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS. OH AND ONE LAST THING THEY ALSO PROVIDE THE ASSISTANT WALKER FOR THOSE WHO ARE LEARNING TO SKATE.
One of my favorite trails to walk
Its great and awesome.
Very beautiful park! Went here for a walk and sat around on a bench. It's not a very big park but it's cute. In winter they have a skating rink. It's a nice little park for sure.
Huge park. Good for Cycling ..Skating.. Soccer..Running.. Playground for kids.. and also roller Hockey..
Good park with public toilet and for kids...with a car parking and sitting areas...
It is a nice place for kids and family time
Love this park, great for walking your dog along the path or playing a pick up game of soccer or hockey (on the new ice rink)!!
Went to skate. There is a hockey rink where people were playing and then a new skating trail for just skating. Good size. Lots of indoor space to change with washrooms. My only complaint was there were only a few of the skate helper plastic things that help kids balance but it's great they offer those. Would recommend checking it out.
Nice playground, lots of space for kids to ride bike and run and a couple of football fields... All surrounded by trees
Courteous staff, they even have music playing to brighten the mood. Best of both worlds a nice trail and a rink to switch back and forth.
Always a nice place to take a walk, ride your bike or do activities with family and friends. Check it out and see if it piques your interest.
Nice ice path for the kids. Warm change room.
So much fun for the littlies and the adults ❤
AWESOME!!! LIKED THE PARK VIEW AND FACILITIES!!!
Clean, pleasant park to chill out or have a walk.
Playground is nice
Very nice clean park.
Nice place for family.Fun for kids I only did thr west side.I will do both sides doon.Lw
Beautiful park with an open rink, soccer field, sprinkles in summer and kids scooter track.
We always go to this park as it is close to our house and it is huge so lots of walking place. It is very convenient for cycling as well. It is very safe for kids as the main road is far off.
I came with my friends on a Wednesday afternoon and they were open and people were skating around the rink. When we approached the worker they denied us of a skate rental even though we checked the website if they rent skates and they said they do. My friend came all the way from Oshawa to be met by a racist worker. The non coloured civilians got a skate rental with no hassle yet we were met by hostility and a bad attitude. Will definitely not be coming back.
Really awesome park. Has 2 football sized fields. Has a playground for kids. People fly their drones and their toy cars here occasionally. Not too busy of a place. Apparently the ice rink that was supposed to be built for this winter had issues so it'll be ready for next year. I was told they messed up the piping so they'll have to dig back up the ground to fix that.
Been a lot of improvements in comparison to about 5 years back. Definitely recommend it if your looking for a not so busy park to take your family.
It's nice to have an outdoor rink in Scarborough. The skating trail is a short circuit but, is still the superior way to enjoy an outdoor skate. I hope to play shiny on the rink as well when COVID is over.
Families made the best if the winter storm and this park was accessible to allow it.
Nice alternative to skating in circles on a skating rink.
Love the soccer ⚽️ field
Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation hosted a pop-up Rink Social at this site on Feb 23/24, 2019. Very well done and plenty of activities for all ages. Great venue for skating. They have an outdoor rink and a skating trail at this location. There is also a indoor area were you can lace up your skates and store your gear. Washrooms are available. Love this location.
Nice public park. Good for an afternoon stroll
Outdoor rink and skating paths were still open to public. Reservations are recommended but they have limited space for those who did not book ahead.
Crowd free, natural and simple, soccer field and walking/running pathway.
Clean park with splash pad
Clean, bright and nice to stroll through. Close to amenities which makes it even more convenient. Only problem was lots of bees...but it is the season anyway!
Lovely park for families or couples.
Very nice skating rink and trail. Blue skate trainer available! Kids friendly! new skate beginner friendly! None Skating parents friendly! Washroom still open! Our kids love here so much!
Nice park but you got to be careful of drug addicts and syringes in the park do not let your children go there alone. I've called the city of Toronto but they have done nothing about it
Great skate park
We go there for my son's soccer team games. Clean, green, trees and healthy place
Fantastic spot for kids in Scarborough. Keep it up Toronto! Waterfront next please!
Love the outdoor rink and skating path
Need more work the ice is REALLY choppy an needs to be flooded bunch more times. I think they should have waited one more week. They we have to do LOTS of work on the ice now. I think anyway. But LOVE the trail an rink LOVE IT. Thanks for putting ice there awesome large. ????????❤️????????
Ok, could be way better for Scarborough and need way way more parking. The sate trail is great!! Finally something great for Scarborough!!
U have to visit the icerink & hockey rink here. You will have a great time
Lots of exciting elements are added for kids to have fun. Hope ice rinks will be finished on time for winter skating the water park for summer.
Nice little park to walk the dog or go for a walk/run
Good jogging trail with concrete pavement. It's a clean and quiet place to do a short 3-5 km run but the park is not particularly scenic.
A great lush green park to spend time alone or with friends and family. It helped me brighten my mood and offered me serenity and tranquility.
Very nice park with ice skating and ice hockey facility. Very well maintained Not ample parking but there is additional parking on the other side of the park Staff is very helpful and even guides for ice skating I like to visit here!
Very nice playground area and waterpark for toddlers.
One of the places for outdoor skating. My 8 yrs big boy really enjoy going there.
The best place ever. We'll be back again before the winter ends next year
Love the outdoor ice trail. Best in the area
Been going to this park for years, but they took out the basketball court for a hockey arena.
It's nice for soccer, park only has a few bench but good for sports like road hockey and also has a trail for walking or running.
Great for skating and shinny. Wish they would play music for skating and had a snack bar.
It's a great park, thanks for keeping it clean
The best park near to my place. Very peaceful and clean.
Beautiful park..amazing ice rink
Very placent trail for a good walk.
It's to bad that this is only the second outdoor rink in scarborough; the only shinny pad for the residents of scarborough. The city of toronto on December 1st had 38 outdoor rinks!!!! How is that fair to the community of Scarborough with only 2!!!
Big field if you want to fly a kite of play some soccer or football, field hockey
They have 2 ice rinks this year that are open for public use and open for shiny. Great little park with indoor public bathrooms as well. My 2 year old loves it here.
Lovely place to go for a walk with your children or taking your pets for a walk . Also a park and a skating rink
Some parts of the skate path had exposed concrete and there was no Marshall telling people which way to skate.
Great ice rink for kids to get started...and for adults that have forgotten how to! Free parking but somewhat limited so get there early or wait a bit people come and go often
We've gone skating several times at this park. It's a quiet, serene and well-maintained skating trail that even has indoor change rooms! Definitely recommend!
