Entry to this park has a lot of locations and a lot of parking. I suggest to enter the park using two less popular locations: from Cedar Ridge park or from the most southern part of the park at livingstone road. The paths are wide and lovely and the amount of flowers and wildlife is refreshing! Watch for early morning bikers.

Beautiful paved trail following Highland Creek. It’s deeply wooded and well maintained. Fairly quiet with moderate traffic of walkers and cyclists. There is free parking at the entrance on Livingston Rd which has a lovey community park and baseball diamond. The trail connects to Morningside Park approx 4km away which has another park plus picnic and fire pit spaces. You can continue on to the other parks through the connecting trails. Be prepared to see tons of birds, rabbits, frogs, and if your lucky a fox or deer. I hope people continue to respect the beautiful nature here, keep it clean, and keep to the trails!

Excellent spot in the city for some longer nature hikes. Mostly clean and well maintained to enjoy the feeling of suburban while being very much surrounded by a rural environment. Enjoy the trees and flowers along the way and parking all around with many entrances to come from. I’d like to comeback to hike the whole trail!

Gorgeous walking path. This is a long one and has many great sites. You can even got lost in the woods if that’s your thing. Paved areas are great for children and grass is fun too. So nice to be able to explore green spaces in the city and this place should be on your list.
