I am from Alberta where even the best lakes in proximity to large centres are too congested, have no beaches at all or are like swamps. Madge is only three hours from Regina or 4 from Saskatoon and beautiful for swimming, great for fishing, outstanding for golfing and wonderful for just wandering the trails and enjoying the sunshine. Weather is a bit unpredictable but when it is nice, it is very, very nice. Agree that dog park & cleaner beaches would make it perfect.

Blaine Van Os

Very nice campground but need more street lights good place to take your family

Melissa Emisch

Great Park, large well maintained campsites. Seems odd the camp store doesn't open until June 25. The beach could use some attention too (at Pickeral Point). The lake level seems very high, and that has "wiped out" a lot of the. Beach area.

Could use better signage as we drove right by the campground but once there we loved it. Big sites, lots of trees and lots of trails. The water was cool but clear, great for swimming.

Looking for shore fishing and not rocky or lots of weeds
