Dealing With Delta

I specifically came here looking for a beach. Though the water was chilly, this lake can stand up against some of the pristine northern Ontario lakes I've grown up near. Thankful for finding this gem.

Was super windy. Beach is nice and there was a small store and park right off the beach. The docks were closed when we were there and that beach was beautiful! Had to look for the walking trails. Loop was 4km. …

Very lovely sand beach. It has the most private comping sites. Most of the sites are filled and covered by trees. There is store by the beach. It have many beaches, I personally prefer the sandy beach that you have to walk a bit to get …

F Lang

Great Campsite on Lake Diefenbaker. Many private treed sites. Lots of shower facilities. Beach, etc. Did some kayaking.

Daniel Moreno

Just couple hours south of Saskatoon you can get a nice camping weekend with all you need. The campsites were of variable sizes perfect for a tent and your firepit or full camper ready to stay there for weeks. The access to the water was a bit tricky but worth going down there to watch the sunset.

Marlies Wobben

Always a great experience to stay at this campground. We don't even have a favourite site, almost all are great. We love that there is a (very good) concession for food, ice cream etc and camping/fishing supplies. Lake Diefenbaker is very …

Megan Moore

The beach was lovely, firewood was super easy to find. Overall our camping experience was as expected! …

Nahid S

Went 2 times hope to go again. My family and I enjoyed the beach and trails.

Eric

Great place to camp! Clear beach water, no swimmer's ich! Nice beach plus clean showers!

Bill Kapphahn

Newly paved and renovated washrooms. Great beach and trails. We’ll be back next year.

Anthony Kelly

Lake is very nice. Good ice cream at the store. Showers and toilets are clean but dated. Camp sites are good size and fairly private. Nice hike out to sand dunes.

Apollo Bellisle

Nice park that’s well maintained, downside in the campsites are too close together

Dilfuza Malaythong

My favorite. Water level has gone down but lots of beach and easy to find privacy along the water. Good idea to book a spot we usually get stuck with overflow but I kind of prefer it. Campsites seemed clean and water was clear.

Zo Ey

The walk in sites are very nice, the amenities are modern and fancy.

Shane Clark

I love all aspects of this park, but you must visit the sand dunes. What a wonderful experience. After a twenty minute walk on the trail, which has plenty of trees and cactus, the sand dunes stretch out before you like a mirage. And …

Huge Beach! Staff at the store were very nice and the food was super tasty. There isn't much signage to access the beach so we ended up having to walk quite a distance from our car after parking. Lake floor is very squishy but only has a few rocks and plants so I was happy.

Ryley Slywka

This is one of my favorite Saskatchewan Provincial Parks. The park itself is very quiet and has plenty of convenient services and amenities. I brought a tent to camp in and had no issues with noise or privacy. …

Lumsden Florist etc.

Great place for a family camping trip!

Nijesh Shakya

Mixtures of completely different landscape sand dune one side and beautiful lake one other side

CrystalClear Studios

The park is only good for camping, the beach is actually only sandy no trees or shades, also there are not trails to hike in this park.

Marlys Gordon

Great walking trails within the campground, nice playgrounds for the kids, quaint ice cream shop by the beach. The beach is small and could get crowed easily but we were there during the week so not too bad. Some sites are great and others are very wide open so it your can scout your site ahead of time, I'd do that.

Kandra Forbes

Nice park. Clean bathrooms in the campground. The one by the beach only had one functional sink. Visitor center was very helpful.

Sylvio Neto

This is a great park. The infrastructure is great, there are plenty camping spots, and there is a shop to buy things if you need it. It also has a nice place near the water with a barbecue grill. It is very windy though, so bring a coat along.

Doug Anderson

Smallish campground with smallish sites. Not my favourite but I wouldn't not go there if everyone else wanted to go there. There's a playground for the kids and the beach is decent. You don't want to end up in the overflow camping, though. Big open field with no privacy and no shade.

Chelsea Fidler

What a great spot! Camping, fishing, hiking, exploring - this Provincial Park has it all. We really enjoy the beach because it's quiet and the water is shallow for a long time, allowing you to walk out, float, and splash around. ☀️

Jerry Heilman

The sand dunes are gem, worth the drive and hike. Beautiful scenery.

Jordan Rustad

I love this park. The campsites are large and private. Even when the park is full, it doesn't seem like it. Bathrooms and showers are well kept and clean. The interpretation centre is fantastic. I will definitely come back!

Bob Brians

Great place to camp or just spend the day, all services offered and a town is nearby for shopping or restaurants. Wild Saskatoon berries are plentiful in the area.

Brad Randall

Such a lovely place. Been coming here for 30 years and hope to spend another 30. Great place to bring your family, go golfing or swimming and kick back at night with a campfire. Will always suggest coming here!

Mosabbir Alam

Not enough Picnic space but fantastic lake view, Beach ????️ area is also Small

Alissa Klassen

A beautiful prairie oasis and a real gem for campgrounds! The sand dunes are worth the hike in and the walking trails around the lake are lovely.

T Peter

The park is very well maintained. Couldn't really ask for a better get away spot. Will definitely come back.

Alice Fontaine

It has a homey feel, very quaint and quiet and rustic. Cozy family atmosphere. Store at the beach with fvery friendly staff. Change rooms by the beach with bathrooms and showers. Hot foods served. Hiking trails to adventure, long and short depending on your interest. Activities planned by the staff. Night Geo cashing, cook bannock night, movie by the museum, museum, Amazing Race, crafts for the children fun for everyone. Great fishing. Disc golfing and an inflatable water park for 5 and up in the neighboring Danielson Prov. Park a short drive away.

Doug Birns

I absolutely love this Provincial park, and I have been to many in SK. The water is super clean, camping sites are fairly large, nicely groomed and most are pretty private. There are also so many trail hikes marked out you have plenty of …

MacMillan Gilchrist

Beautiful hikes both for day and night if you have a flashlight. Would recommend the sand hills anytime! Saw lots of wildlife and the park trails were in excellent condition!

Kezia Kendall

The water was absolutely incredible, so clear! Camp sites were quiet and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here!

Dan Kotanko

Great escape from Saskatoon, only 90 minutes! Ice cream and chicken finger/fries yummy!

Keith Herbert

A lot of highway noise, especially through the night. The week we were there camping in a tent, there were a number of irresponsible dog owners who left their dogs at their campsite while they were away; thus resulting in a lot of barking. Will not return to this Provincial Park again.

Ryan Giest

Park was fun till the hail storm. Cost me a tent and a truck but the worst part was we didn't catch any fish. Would still live to try again though.... In a camper... Or a cabin.

michelle stiles

I took my dog camping there for 3 days and had a great time. There are plenty of trails to hike in the area, the water is clean and there are sandy beaches all around, plus the sand dunes are close by for exploration. There is plenty of wildlife to watch for, good fishing and the campsites are well kept.

Angela Miller

Not a very hospitable place to visit for just a day picnic. There were no picnic tables and only a very small beach a walk aways from the parking lot. Not sure what it's like for camping, it seemed very busy in the campgrounds. The beach was packed and the only other way down to the water is down a dangerous cliff of rocks. The water (once you get to it) is very beautiful, Sandy and clear.

Beth Ren

Sites nice and private. Showers are a little far, but not that big of a deal when you're camping. We were pretty happy to find that firewood is provided and easy to find. Great place to ride bikes, we took the trail to the dunes and it was a great ride, and much faster than walking. Pretty nice beaches, a bit of a walk from our campsite, but easy to bike or drive to.

Mark Godin

Good bathrooms. The lake level had dropped so the way to the water was yucky but the lake was pristine

Sandra Trohak

Very nice park, clean campsites, and a lot to explore.

JL B (JLB866)

Went for a winter hike with my dogs. Couldn’t find any winter pics online so I thought I’d add some. Of course the water is off, bathrooms closed, etc. But there are many trails to walk or ski, places to picnic, and gorgeous nature to see!

Tara Hoffmann

Love it! Usually the fishing is awesome. Nothing to do but beach & bike ride otherwise. No rec center activities, no mini golf, no restaurant of any kind other than the store by the shore. Water is clean & clear except for boat gas & a bit of algae if it's windy. Fish taste clean and great if you catch any.

brenda johnson

Beautiful, well treed, nicely maintained park with large spots, paved lanes and really nice hiking trails! Love seeing all the animals as well.

Tim Strohman

We love going here in the summer. Camp sites are awesome. Its nice to actually want to be in the water because its clean here. Clear as can be. Perfect for the kids because its so shallow a long ways out. The little food stop was good here to. Highly recommend.

Sylvia Sunshine

A beautiful place to visit

Mr. G Dean

A lovely park, lots of showers, bathrooms and on the July long weekend, I found it to be very quiet (surprisingly) after 11pm. Sand dunes were a little disappointing but still cool nonetheless. 10/10 will return again. The lovely town of Elbow is a short drive away. don't miss out on visiting there.
