Nowadays this firm has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is nearly the top, and it's based on a high number of reviews, so we may conclude that the valuation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park belongs to the category of State park.
Love this place. So peaceful the smell of the pine trees is so calming.
Beautiful location with view points, campgrounds, amenities like bike, kayak, paddle board rentals, a general store. Would like to go back to explore more biking trails!
First time going there and it was a pleasant stay. Friendly environment! However the food places only takes cash but they have Atms too, we stayed at Terrace campsite and i thought it’d be bigger and more privacy, hard to set the tent …
Great weekend stay in 3 bdr cabin at CH resort with 3 gen family getaway. Hiking, snowshoes, skating, x-country skiing trails, sledding and luge runs.
Great hidden gem! The campsites at the top of the hill have tall pine trees which are great for some summer shade. Beach was clean and rentals were awesome!
A perfect place to relax and do some camping for the whole family.
Great place to camp. Nice being able to see the stars at night. Lots of activities also.
One of the best parks in Saskatchewan. Although the roads are a little narrow it is easy to navigate the park with plenty of signs and markers. The are lots of things to do at this park like hiking, golf, swimming, boat rentals and horseback riding just to name a few.
Traveling some of the Old Forts Trail, I spent a few hours at the Fort. The relatively new Interpretive Centre provides a great overview of the Forts history and of the early days of the RCMP in Western Canada. The staff are very well acquainted with the history and very knowledgeable about the Fort. It is a must see and do when you are in Maple Creek.
Fire ban on right now. Camping isn't the same without the camp fire.
Very clean, well maintained campground with nice beach, lake and brand new boardwalk. Loved it!
Haven't been there in years but I still remember that trip. Great natural wonder area. Well worth visiting here.
A simply beautiful oasis in the prairies! Lovely forested hikes, fantastic campsites and an incredible four-season Resort with Spa. So much available to do for all ages.
Nice place for camping
Best hiking, camping, views, exploring in Saskatchewan. I highly recommend taking time to explore this park!
Beautiful scenery with lots to do. The trail system is fantastic. Bring a Mountain Bike!
Unreal place to stop in the middle of the Prairies!
Fantastic
Nice and quiet in the winter!
Would highly recommend! Amazing facilities and lots to keep all ages engaged.
It was a beautiful place to end a cycleing trip.
You wouldn't know you're still on the prairies. Great 9 hole golf course and loads of activities for the kids. Only an hour's drive to Shaunavon to eat at the best restaurant in the province as well!!
This is a great place to go for camping, or a day trip. There are a few beaches to play & swim, there's mini golf, water sports, tons of well-marked trails for every skill level including gentle strolls all the way to advanced hikers. Just be aware of wildlife, including cougars.
Such a cool spot. Great mountain Biking, hiking, and I love that you can rent stand up paddle boards! It's such a great park!
Great place for a hike almost any time of the year!
Really didn't get the big deal. We stayed in the Centre Block. It's okay, Loch Levan is a little gross for swimming, but we did. Campground is fine. Lots of little amenities (pool, tennis), camp store and restaurant are nice. Trails are pretty good for forest walks and biking. The observatory was wonderful, and a high point. Could easily be improved by planting some low shrubs to block the headlights from the road, such a simple investment for a park treasure. Trip to Fort Walsh is *just* worth it; long drive, meh fort.
Very interesting park. Nice contrast to the rolling prairie. It would be great if they marked the hiking trailheads better
Such a cool park on the prairie! It is very much like northern Saskatchewan or Jasper. The park is covered with lodge pole pine and has many different campsites. The bathrooms and showers are impeccable and cleaned everyday. Can't wait to visit again!
We spent the weekend camping here and it was a blast. We walked and biked the trails, walked down to get ice cream exploring the lake on the way. We didn't try the mini golf and the pool wasn't open yet and not sure when it will be due to …
Large provincial park with lots of family activities.
Hiked the lake, about 3 hours. The north tip is longer than you'd expect...
This is a nice park with plenty to do all year round. I went in the winter and had a great time snowshoeing on the paths.
Stayed in Rainbow, trees, minigolf, ice cream, trails and fresh air for the win!
Wide open, very clean park. Large sites. Hostess at the front gate was very friendly and helpful. Incredible scenery!
My favorite place in Saskatchewan. The park has lots of wildlife. There's wonderful hikes for all different abilities. The loch is a great place to swim paddleboard. Lots of wonderful snacks and ice cream. You'll never fall short of something to do. The sky has wonderful visibility at night for stars like never before.
THIS IS THE LOOKOUT POINT THAT THE INDIANS USED TO FIND THE BUFFALOW. THIS LAKE HAS TROUT ! YUMMY. WARNING AS HIGH WINDS BLOW ACROSS THE TOP OF THE BENCH AT 50 KNOTS ! MOTORCYCLES NEED TO DRIVE AT 15* LIST TO STAY ON THE PAVED ROADS.
We saw moose, deer, elk, white pickup trucks, sun, lightening, rain, and snow. All in 1 day.
Loved it, it was very fun, a LOT of things to do , AWESOME Ice Cream????, there's is zip lining near by Elk water lake about 1 and a half hours away, o and did I mention The AWESOME Ice Cream????
Horseshoe Canyon hike is one of the best views in Sounthern Alberta! A gem of the west!
Vast variety of very well maintained walking paths. Friendly, well informed staff. Park Activity Kit (PAK) was a nice touch.
Excellent place, we had so much fun. We wanted to see a Moose but did not get the opportunity.
An oasis on the Prairie. Public beaches have rinse showers indoor and out! Love it.
What an amazing place! It has hiking, cycling, watersports, and knowledgable staff! It is also a dark sky area!
Awesome place, lots of spots for camping, lake, beached, playground for kids, playground for adults, this place has everything you need for a good time. definitely recommend this.
Nothing worth seeing. It's for people who own a cabin in the area. Sand area is covered with goose poop and water is dirty.
Beautiful all around park, high rises land and mountain in middle of prairie.
Love the ski hill my family and I spend lots of time there friendly staff Wayne and Pearl are Wonderful! Thanks!
Beautiful views night and day.
The dark skies are amazing, the hiking is amazing, the zipline is amazing... what is there not to love about this place? Go there!
Beaver creek campground real nice. Could use a more handicap accessible washroom.
Campsites are good, lots of activities to do horse riding, Segway, kayak, mini golf, golfing, and much more overall great experience will wish to visit again
Love it here! Fresh air and good exercise!!
Beautiful place, great camping and hiking.
Spanning over 2 provinces, the sights are spectacular. Many camping areas provide a coziness not experienced at other campgrounds.
Absolutely beautiful little getaway. Campsites are on the smaller side, but it’s worth it. Lots of deer and cows
Amazing views and very beautiful drive in. We only stayed a night as we were just passing through but enjoyed our time. Sites were very close together and not much privacy if you’re in a tent.
What a surprise. In the badlands driving through drab looking prairie, come over the crest of a hill and see a sea of trees, the roads start to wind as you get down into the hills and you see the lake. Such a breathtaking view and it almost seems out of place, this literal paradise in the middle of nowhere.
Lovely natural beauty and a good variety of services in the small town. Camping ammenities are well maintained.
So much to do, see, and experience out there. Never a full moment.
This is a large provincial park on the Alberta and Saskatchewan boarder. There are multiple campgrounds, day use areas, beaches, and boat launches. It is located in forested hills with multiple lakes. Each campground has different levels of …
Amazing place! You've got to see it!
When I was here as a teenager I caught my first trout from here...
So many activities that are reasonably priced. Can't wait to head back
First time here and love it! Campsites, hiking, biking, boating and many ammenities!
Amazing experience. Great hiking trails and be sure to visit the conglomerate cliffs and the hidden conglomerate cliffs
Great park!!! Lots of FCFS spots, very wooded, beautiful lake and friendly staff.
Amazing park with lots of family activities
Great camping experience. Lots of things to do. Unicorn floaties are allowed at the beach. …
A great place...could spend days exploring it. Trails aren't very well marked in some areas, but still fun to wander.
Went to Fort Walsh today. Great experience.Wonderful visit. Great staff.
One iof the best tourist Parks in Saskatchewan. Lots to see, lots to do. Good for families. Not good if ypu prefer a quiet, secluded camping experience.
Love! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time
Always a great time in Cypress Hills
Very nice part of Alberta. Always enjoy the drive. Great photo opportunities.
Love this place!!! One of the most nicest campground I've stayed at in a long time.
I always love getting out to the Saskatchewan side of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. You get great photos and it's really peaceful and everyone is friendly.
Good food, beautiful lake, fantastic day canoeing and fishing.
No mosquitos. Many trees. Hiking galore. Great stores and activities.
I lost my phone here.
It is a beautiful place with a lot of amenities. Lots of small lakes to paddle board or fish. I recommend the beaver Creek trail for hiking. It is a moderate hike in the forest along side a small creek. The outlook spots were so beautiful, you could see rolling green hills for miles. I loved the drive down around Reesor lake.
My favourite place in southern ab!!
Weathered a prairie storm in relative comfort. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean facilities. Well equipped all around. Would happily visit again!
Great place to visit, incredible views and townhouses are awesome to stay in.
Absolutely stunning views. After driving past some "cattle at large" we came to the top of a hill and were blown away by the view of the prairies below. We literally said, "WOW!" in unison.
Have been staying in the lodge every summer for the last ten plus years not as satisfied this year as years past. Booked Us in the wrong room. And the room was not cleaned properly. Every other year I would give them 5 stars
Wide open skies with plenty of trails to explore. Lots of birds and other flying creatures. A great interpretive center that give both the history of the area and close up critters. Grand kids loved it.
Nice Outdoor place
Go to visit, that's all I can say. Amazing place. Beautiful. Great campsites and lots of activities including the dark sky preserve. Better yet, ride your bike there!
Love this campsite. We usually try to tent in Deer Hollow. Walking distance to showers.
Great place to bike, snowboard, camp, hike, and drink coffee. Ive lived here for a while. nice community(for the most part).
A great little known park here in Calgary. It Is a great place to explore and allows you to see a bunch of Alberta on the way.
Awesome place
Fantastic place to either camp or take a day trip to with the family
Sooooo much to explore!! I find new trails every time we head out there! Haven't had a chance to see the fort when open yet, but we walked around the area and it looks like a fun place!
Amazing scenery, lots of wildlife, and amazing roads for driving.
Beautiful place to camp, wish I had had more time to explore it
Almost as good as the mountains, but in the middle of the bald-ass prairies!
Its a beautiful park and there are tons of activities (e.g., horse riding, electric scooter, etc) that you can do which is not usually available at other provincial parks. But be sure to book them in advance of your trip. A great place to fish trout too if you love fishing!
Gorgeous area with tons to do, lots of hikes to go on, and wildlife to see! Campgrounds are all fantastic.
Lovely beach area with a nice sandy beach, ice cream shop, full washrooms, boat/bike rentals and playgrounds. Water in the lake is icy cold and refreshing! Perfect on a hot summer day!
Beautiful park with lots to do and see!! Family and pet friendly!!
Beautiful park to visit, lots of outdoor activities to do.
Love the hiking the wilderness etc.
Lots of activities for the family and scenic areas. Be sure to book ahead so you don't miss out on hotel and activities such as horse riding, ziplining, etc. Also prevalent requirements for cash payments everywhere.
Tons of great things to do for kids and adults as well.
Cypress Hills Park is a beautiful place to camp or just to visit. Booking a site online (which is apparently mandatory) was difficult.
First time visitors, spent a week here on Saskatchewan side in Lodgepole. The sites are suitable for trailors, a bit too close together though. The is lots to do here. Trails are in excellent shape for hiking and cycling. Also close to Ft Walsh and Maple Creek. We paid $40 park fee for the week, which includes unlimited firewood. Would recommend!
We camp in Deer Hollow every year and it's simply the BEST place to camp. It's chill, quiet, and beautiful. There are a variety of activities to keep you entertained, like mini golf, swimming, boating on the cute little lake, or hiking one of the many trails throughout the park. Respect the wildlife and clean up after yourself to keep it beautiful.
Cypress Hills has an eco system different from the surrounding areas. It’s beautiful with forests and lakes, and dark night skies! There are excellent services, and activities like swimming, horseback riding, mini golf, and an observatory with a big telescope. Two ice cream shops in the park are mandatory stops!
Southeast Alberta's best kept secret. I love this park. We came here to get a Christmas tree. My first grader cut it down himself and loved it.
Loved the Provincial Park. Did some kayaking, hiking, relaxed on the beach and stayed in one of the cabins that the park offers as comfort camping.
This park is beautifully setup. The campgrounds are very clean. The programming for families is fantastic. Our teenagers did a GPS adventure which kept them busy all afternoon!
So much to do here. We've had to leave a few things for next time. Such a great place to spend time with the family.
Beautiful trees, Fort Walsh is worth seeing. Little in the way of amenities, but good for backwoods camping and hiking.
We stayed at Rainbow and Terrace campgrounds both provided us with a clean campground and accessible washrooms which are being cleaned twice daily. Campgrounds and washroom are very clean. …
This place is beautiful! There are many different activities to do and it is very child friendly!
Great place to relax enjoying the scenery of God's creation. Go n see for yourselves that u will be at peace looking upon God's beauty.
Beautiful place
Nice views from Elkwater sites, but not very private. Constant waterskiing and boating going by gets a bit annoying. Swimming is nice for refresh, but water is muddy and beaches are small. Biking is very nice.
Beautiful camp ground! Highly recommend.
Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is a place where the landscapes of the prairies meet more wooded areas. This makes for some really interesting hiking trails where you can see numerous different types of environments. I hiked parts of the Beaver and Horseshoe trails which took a little bit less than three hours and enjoyed every minute of it.
The Saskatchewan side of the park is beautiful. There's a ton to do, awesome walking/biking paths and a cute, quiet little lake. It's a truly special place.
I really enjoy this park! Good hiking, lake, and well taken care of.
Awesome place to bring the whole family!!!
This beautiful oasis is in stark contrast to the surrounding prairie landscape, and offers many activities to reconnect you with nature. Close enough to Medicine Hat to take a day trip, or make it a weekend in a hotel or campsite.
Got in late from a long day of traveling. The attractions were all closed the next morning. Family shower was closed for repairs. The highlight of our stay was Cowkid Toys in Maple Creek. Would recommend making the trip into town to see this amazing toy store.
Beautiful lakes, wildlife and lots of trails.
We come tenting with family every year. There is so much to do! The museum, the amphitheatre, the beach and so much more. My husbands favorite is the ice cream shop beside the beach. My favorite is renting a canoe and getting on the water. We'll definitely keep coming back.
Great for the family! Many levels of adventure are welcome. Camper trailer, tenting, hiking, watersports, local restaurants, interpretive centers, I keeps going!
Nice park, lots to see & explore
A unique location in saskatchewan, highest point in saskatchewan nearby. Center block has a few different campgrounds that are great for those who enjoy serviced front country camping. Whereas West block is unserviced (with outhouses) and great for exploring and sleeping by the nearby creek. A spot for everyone.
Good little ski resort, great for a day's skiing. I had a private lesson for $60 which really helped my skiing
This park is a real gem. Many campsites within walking distance to the lake. Lake has a great beach and lots of activities available. Our family enjoyed trying Paddleboarding.
Our favorite spot to camp, under the tall pines. Have some ice cream and brisket at Dar's!
Always a favorite place to go. Brings back the best childhood memories. There is lots for everyone to enjoy.
As always Cypress is a beautiful place to camp or just to visit. Plenty of amenities and stuff to do.
Would highly recommend the visit, will to coming back tomorrow for more activities.
A gem in southwestern Saskatchewan! The campground (Meadows) is very clean and has power available. No water hook-ups though so bring fill the water tank of your RV! The restrooms and showers are very clean! …
Great area to hike and explore, kids loved the beach. Fort Walsh will take you back in time. Well worth the drive. We will be back to do some more exploring!
Next to Waskesiu, this is my favourite campground in Saskatchewan. There is plenty to do, or not do, as you choose. It's a dark sky preserve, so if you are fortunate enough to go during a new moon and a cloudless night, you will see more stars than you've ever seen. It's the first time I ever saw the Milky Way and other galaxies. So amazing.
This was my second time visiting the park and it's as beautiful as I remember. You can book zipline, climbing, and a treetop tour, horseback riding, or swim in the lake. The campground is in a wooded area to give the feel of camping
Beautifully kept area. Lots of hiking and biking trails.
Always enjoy my time at this park
I pretty much spent every summer until I was 17 in this park and can only remember good memories. The kids summer camps, swimming, kayaking, mini golf and trails with stunning lookout points make this park worth a visit.
Another successful Christmas tree hunt!
Great, very dynamic in terms of camping options. Watch out, the park and county Police are overrun this place.
Beautiful place to go, and at night the stars were magnificent!!
highly recommended to visit. Remember to carry cash as most of shops take cash only. lookout point is a must to see.
Beautiful park. There are numerous trails to explore that range from easy to difficult that be either hiked or biked. …
Beautiful place can't wait for my best friends wedding here in August!
So much to do for all the family, so inexpensively priced.
So great.
A favorite for family camping. Lots of amenities for little ones and such a quiet, peaceful area. The campsites tend to be on the smaller side so can be a definite frustration.
Perfect camping sites. Open or private choices. No mosquitos and some no alcohol sites.
Great get away...but a fair distance to get there.
Fantastic
I'm out all the time. I love it
Fab park. I love how you’re suddenly in a different landscape after driving hours on the prairie. Great amenities, points of interest, and gorgeous ‘nature.’
Great place to visit. Go for a drive on some of the back roads to enjoy the wildlife.
A very special place filled with forests and lakes with epic views. The elevation of the park makes it a bit cooler and wetter than the surrounding semi arid plains. Camping is terrific and there are many hiking trails. In the winter there are many kms of groomed and track set cross country ski trails.
One of best SK provincial parks
Such a great park. The activities are top notch. My son always begs to go camping here. A lot of the sites are not very private but if you book early you should be able to find a good one.
Perfect for a weekend camping trip, lots if fun activities for the family, clean and comfortable.
Beautiful views from the plateau, well maintained trails through mixed forest, and a nice path along Elkwater Lake. Information Centre staff were excellent and well informed.
Beautiful park with all the services you need. Very helpful staff.
Very beautiful and great places to eat and fish.
Love this place!!! Beautiful!!!
Very busy during the summer months. What a beautiful spot though.
Pauli was great despite the smoke from the fires up north. Come with a great supply of your own firewood though; bundles at the store would cost you $8 average.
Great adventure
Excellent camp ground but some maintenance issues in the washrooms. I love water and electricity in every spot.
Great camping place, kids just love it here. There's so much to do and stay busy.
Great Park...lots too do. Campsites for every size campers. Power water no sewer. Nice lake. Waters warm
Spectacular park. My advice is to drive the gap road. I have never been anywhere quite like it
Great place for camping, one day trip...such a beautiful place. Got cabins you can rent as well...
Great campground for the whole family. Lots to do and great ice cream shops, restaurants and a general store.
Amazing place for day trip with family or group of families and weekend trip. Camping and bed and breakfast available. We enjoyed swimming and canoeing.
Lots to do! Horses...putt putt golf...swimming ....paddle boating....relaxing times too.
A beautiful place to come and relax. If you want to try something different take a tour with the Segway tours!!
Great walking trails
Well taken care of provincial campground. The Saskatchewan side provides free fire wood and very nice toilets. Alberta should take a lesson!
Don't expect much from the lake as it is very small and crowded. The restaurant in the information center showed poor customer service as we were required to pay first (no debut machine either) and also required to put the napkin dispenser and cutlery on our own table. Followed by poor tasting food... I suggest northern sask for an amazing camping experience!
Camped here with the kids when they were small. Campground was full. They did not turn anyone away when we showed up late one Friday in the summer on our way to Regina. We were put in a lovely, green space overlooking the lake. Great night of star watching and campfire with the kids.
Beautiful place to visit
Great place for hiking, camping and water sports. Also some cool places to stay if your not into camping. Something for everyone
Very clean and well maintained park at Elkwater!
Had a great day hiking in the early spring sunshine.
Beautiful landscape, lots to do, friendly people & clean facilities.
The best hotel by far. Very clean rooms and public washrooms are super clean as well. Such a beautiful scenery and waking up in the cool of the morning topped everything off. Definitely going back there soon. It's now my family favorite place to go.
Its a really nice relaxing place and the water is very good there's so many different places that u can go to and its perfect for bike rides I love it????????
Good old western town. Maple creek
Great hiking trails. Lots of parking. Beautiful place for a picnic or a weekend of camping.
Awesome time spent at Elkwater, Reesor lake camp ground and Reesor lake itself.
Fun experience camping. Great sites and activities In cypress hills and neighbouring town maple creek
Beautiful country to explore and see. Lots of wild life.
I love hiking and biking in here. Great trails. Elk water lake is great for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended.
The park is well organized. There is plenty of activities to do. Had an exceptional time and would come back again. Park is very clean and well kept.
Love all the amenities available. Great forest like campsites.
Beautiful
Very Beautiful place. Well kept and maintained. A lot to see and do. Will definitely return again.
Great showers, easy access. Will be back for sure
Nightly rates are a little expensive, and it's tough to get some of the better sites. It's worth the effort though.
Awesome, warm water , clean, well taken care of!
Great place for the whole family
Always something new and interesting to see here in different season's.
Great place to camp
Perfect location in Alberta for camping or just for a day trip.
There are a variety of campgrounds both serviced and unserviced. Reservations are highly recommended for long weekends, especially for serviced sites. Reservations fill up early in the season and are booked up to park closing at the end of the season. Washrooms are clean and stocked with paper towels and toilet paper. The showers are free work well. There was a hair dryer at the Fire Rock campground and outlets if you bring your own. The campsites have trees for some privacy and shelter.
Hidden gem of the prairies. Lots to do, excellent camping spots. Be sure to book a campsite ahead of time
We stayed at Reesor Lake which was a smaller campground, only about 40 sites but it was very nice.
Great view, would recommend hiking up here
Love coming here every time
Beautiful park and many outdoor activities. Although some were closed Monday and Tuesday so check in advance if staying during those times. Some of the activities are also not operated by the park but in the park boundaries. All facilities …
This is my 2nd time visiting cypress hills. We camped in centre block in the meadows campground this time and I wasn't impressed with the campsite. It was basically an open field with rv sites. The first time I camped here, we stayed in an …
Very interesting. Views are spectacular.
Great camping here! Wildlife like Moose, deer, antelope. Very scenic, especially on the back roads. But don't travel when wet unless you have a 4x4.
Hidden gem of the Alberta Provincial Park system and an island of mountain-like terrain in a sea of prairie. Hiking, canoeing, biking, golfing, and fishing are just some of the summer activities. Lots of campgrounds, ranging from full …
Amazing scenery. Probably saw almost 200 deer, and roaming cows who mostly get out of your way.
Great hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Take a week to check out all the areas
Clean fun, out of the way of everything yet still close enough to something
First time at Cypress Hills this year. It's a fantastic park. Would recommend at least 4 nights stay to take everything in. Washrooms were very clean, including the odd outhouse building. Nice warm showers you don't have to pay for and free …
Well kept campgrounds. Camping sites a little too close to each other. Beautiful scenery on clear days.
No water on sites. Camp sites are to be desired. Nice area.clean bathrooms.
We spent 2 nights camping in the 3rd week of September and everything was great, even the weather ( we were in a tent). We met a lady named Donna at the Park office who was the friendliest and most helpful person you could ever find.
Great outdoor place for people interested in hiking, boating, fishing,or skiing. You can purchase a fishing license at the information centre. It offers an interesting microclimate in the middle of the Prairies. (jackpines and black spruces). You can catch rainbow trout.
We drove through but it was beautiful!
It's amazing to drive thru a barren Saskatchewan landscape and then come into Cypress Hills interprovincial park and see the green trees and beautiful lake and the look out point is unbelievable !
Nice camp ground and well maintained. Good fishing in the area and lots of wildlife.
Great place for camping, hiking, boating and stargazing. This area is a designated dark area, so there is very little light pollution and the stars are amazing on a clear night. Lots of campground spaces to choose from. Showers, toilets, shops... The works here.
Really cool place. Hills aplenty. Lots of cows, drive carefully. Millions of Dragon flies, like driving in a black blizzard. Beautiful lakes on Alberta side. There are two parks. The larger park in Alberta and a smaller park in Saskatchewan.
Excellent place for family camping. Lots of fun activities. Beautiful natural surroundings. Unique biodiversity. Great parks interpretive programming. Only thing we had troubles with is hiking trails are poorly signed or signs completely missing.
Great getaway location right here in SK. Forests, hills, beautiful scenery. Never a dull moment.
We loved our stay here! The campsites are very spacious and private. There was unfortunately no dedicated places to wash your dishes but there was a tap nearby. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The wildlife was walking around our …
Beautiful and peaceful. Walking or biking on the trails is a great way to wind down.
Excellent nature park to unwind yourself with lot of activities & excursion to Fort Walsh Historic Site / Highway 271 & T.Rex dinosaurs are places of interest
I've stayed here in the past and love the treed areas! There is an observatory. Sites are nicely spaced and the park staff is super friendly and helpful!
Elkwater was fantastic, nice walk and beautiful swim!
Beautiful place. A peaceful place inside a forest. Much, much to do & see. Lots of activities and opportunities to explore.
First time here, it is very beautiful, lots of cute little food/ice cream store. Great little store with tons of camping supplies in case you forget something. Bike, kayak, stand up paddle board rentals, and nice campsites.
Awesome trip. Glad I drove 6.5 hours to get here
Beautiful place..lots of things to do.
One of the best places to camp in Alberta. Love all the walking trails and free mini and disc golf
Food is top notch at Buglers restaurant elkwater lake lodge and resort.... as of march 2018.. the chef quit so the food will go back to being disgusting! The place is a hell hole. Full of mold and not clean at all. Very unappetizing. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Its absolutely filthy and unkept.
Worth the trip for sure! Still more for me to explore!
Some good biking trails in Elkwater and the backroads are definitely worth taking.
One hell of place, its nice, but the campsites need maintenance
It's a nice place nice park
Beautiful place to go if you love the outdoors and peace and quiet.
Love the Cypress Hills!Every thing you need for a vacation !5 star Park hands down!
Great place!!!
Beautiful park, beautiful views, lots of different locations to visit in the park
View from lakeside grill
Great Park for families, lots to do.
Honestly, we didn't get it. We drove all the way from Medicine Hat as we heard so many good things about this part of interprovincial park, but it didn't impress us. Maybe it is needed to stay at their campground or rent a place in another …
Accomodations are good. Wide variety of things to do. Ziplining, tree drops, wall climbing, biking, trails, go karts, horseback riding, mini golf, paddle boats for rent, ebikes, camping and Segway rides. Variety of accomodations to choose from like cabins, town houses and even the hotel. A nice quick get away a few hours from Regina
Great place. Great golf course
Fabulous scenery, friendly park staff, and spotless and I mean spotless washrooms all over the park. I'm going back.
Very good hikes with wildlife.
Great day trip.
Beautiful campground! Lots to do!
Beautiful place to eat a quiet meal. Facilities were clean. Plenty of places to put garbage. The time of year we were there left the park pretty quiet. I would say when it is busy you are pretty close to your neighbor. That said, there are plenty of books and crannies to find some alone time. The scenery is to die for.
Great area to hike and explore, kids loved the beach. Fort Walsh will take you back in time. Well worth the drive. We will be back to do some more exploring!
Beautiful park but it is very frustrating to book a site for more than 2 nights in a row unless you book 90 days ahead ????
Great camping location, nice getaway from the prairies around medicine hat.
1 week annual trips here. Can't wait to go back
Always enjoy going there.
There is so much yo do in the area and ths staff was awesome. The photos are from logge pole campsite to reservoir lake. It was a great day!!
One of my favourite places in the world
A nice provincial park. Nice cycling.
Strange magnetism about Cypress Hills that keeps drawing me back. Lots of hiking. Rustic camping and regular crowded camping also.
An island surrounded by glaziers rises up out of the plains, on a clear day you can see all the way to Montana. Rare place. Stay away if you can.
Great place to come and unwind
A quiet and nice place to hang out with.
The place to go if you think Saskatchewan is flat all over...it would surprise most people
Beautiful forest ecosystem in the middle of the prairie. Many campsites and services and attractions. Well maintained and clean park.
This place is great. Way more trails than the Alberta side. I see wildlife almost every visit. Unfortunately, it's got a bit too much in the way of touristy stuff. I go to the forest to get away from the things of the city, not to go …
Excellent place for good food at a realistic price, bar prices good also. Found staff very friendly, went twice while here. Well done all.
Good time skiing. Not very busy on Friday
Beautiful park, despite the 3rd winter that was happening May long weekend, 2021! I want to come back in summer! ( If we ever get one,lol )
Excellent place to camp needmore fire with pws.
Awesome pool and drop in center. Fantastic Ice cream shop. Easy half hour hwy drive from Hwy 1 through Maple Hills.
A beautiful park with much to do. There are a few activities to keep kids and adults engaged including the zip lining and seg way tour. The seg way tour was really fun and we learnt some interesting info for our guide. …
Camped in the rustic region and loved it.
The park staff is ridiculous. They don't watch where they are driving ive seen them almost run over a few kids in seperate occasions and almost ran me and my dog over. Go to complain at the office and get treated like your worthless. Use to be alot better before they hired a fleet of Karen's.
It's an amazing place to go and recharge your life and just enjoy the adventurers. ????
Absolutely beautiful! I saw lots of deer frolicking around and gorgeous wild flowers!
This place was fantastic. We learner a bit of history we didn't know we wanted to know :). The gap road wasn't too bad and we used it while driving an older Jetta. We went quite slow compare to the people in trucks or SUVs but it is doable. Be careful of the Texas Bridges as they aren't too friendly on smaller tires. We would recommend this park to anybody.
Best place for summer.
Great ice cream.
Nice drive in and around the park. Certain unpaved sections within the park are unsuitable for cars especially if the terrain is wet. There are locations within the park where you can fish or picnic. Lots of history to discover.
Nice Family campground but so many flies.
Very nice park in SW Alberta...I try to stay here every summer at least one trip.
Site could have a little more privacy but otherwise really good
Unbelievable! A taste of the Rocky Mountains without the high prices or crowds. Can't wait to visit again
