This is hands down our favorite place to be. There are ponds that make a great walk and fun for kids to see turtles and frogs. Great equipment and a fun splash pad. Two pavilions for big parties and tons of tables in and around them for any occasion. Great walking trails and just so well maintained

Love the turtles that live in the pond here. Place is great for a date as it allows you to either bring your kids or dogs and have a good conversation. Doesn't get too busy so you can feel like you have some privacy. Some of the trails can get muddy depending on the weather.

Pretty little park with some small ponds to walk around. Parking lot was recently redone to add more spaces. Little kid play area and splash pad on one side too. Walk the trails back to see the creek waterfall. Careful in the summer though of all the goose poop! There tends to be alot! Watch where you step around the ponds.

I come here mostly to play Pokemon go however it is a beautiful park with alot of history and paths to walk loaded with pokemon go gyms and stops. There is a play area for kids and public washroom facilities that are well maintained and lots of water life to see.

Very nice place! It is not very big but a nice, comfortable size. Especially for families. On the one side of the parking lot you have a beautiful playground plus pavillion and the other side you have a short walking trail to spend in nature. I was there a few days ago (last week of March) and noticed plants and flowers are peaking out of the ground! In no time it will be a luscious piece to walk through again. I didn't check if the washrooms were open already though.

The large splash pad area is open and they finally have porta-potties. It's got a fishing area, ducks, geese and even a big blue herring who is in no way afraid of humans nor does she or he attempt to ever harm a human or another animal! It's awesome to watch her or him stand so very still and with AMAZING skills, NEVER misses the fish she or he is trying to catch!!!! It's got bridges to walk over and stand and look at the bull and regular frogs ect.

Waterworks Park is St. Thomas' most beautiful park. There are numerous ponds and rivers with boardwalk sections. Flowers and trees are particularly well-maintained in the northern part. The southern part includes different playgrounds for families with children. The parking lot is strategically positioned between both parts.

A nice, quiet park with a fun splash pad, and a variety of equipment to keep the kids happy for hours. I miss the witch's hat from my youth, though. On the North side of the park there are lovely, peaceful walkways amongst ponds, with quaint bridges and a myriad of great natural photo op backdrops. Many waterfowl, fish, frogs and birds (amongst other wildlife) can be spotted here. I loved tobogganing here as a child as well. My Grandpa used to fish at the big pond.

The renovations and improvements look great, and the access road is much better. It's not the largest park in St Thomas, but it's got to be the most picturesque.

This park has enough of everything to make it exactly what you may want for an afternoon with the family. The playground is spacious and offers 2 separate sets of climbers and swing sets. The splash pad isn't huge but that didnt seem to slow down the kids playing in it, and there's a couple of nice trails on the opposite side of the park offering some great nature exposure.

Beautiful park! Accessible trails and splashpad were both lovely. The playground has a nice assortment of equipment for all ages and an accessible swing. It would be nice to have a paved path through all grassy areas so that people who have mobility issues don't need to walk through the parking lot to get from one side to the other.

Lovely walking paths over meandering little brooks loaded with tadpoles and of course frogs later in the season. Great playground area for kids. Public restrooms. Lots of geese.

Well what can I say my first time to waterworks park and it was great went with my friend we walked around a bit of the park enjoyed the frogs and turtles in the water and I enjoyed cooling of in the splash pad.This park offers trails picnic tables benches to rest along the way a splash pad and it's free clean and great way to spend your day amazing day Mary .M.

Great park good place to take the kids fishing and a great place to come and clean up trash not sure why everyone walks past the garbage can and throws their stuff on the ground......kids and I have cleaned up alot. There's also a small park and splash pad geared more for small kids. Lots of room for a family to have a lunch or snack in the grass!!!

The trails in and nearby the park make a nice short hike. The scenery is nice, especially in the summer. The playground is well equipped. My only criticism would be how the public washrooms are maintained...

Great park for relaxing and unwinding after a long day at work. Breath in the fresh air. Go for a hike on their trails. Watch the water flow over the waterfall. Snuggle with someone on the many park benches there. Or sit alone. With a good book. Enjoy the wildlife around you. Great place for wedding photos. There are small outdoors venues that can be attended. Birthday parties, anniversary, family events. Kids play grounds. Splash pads. Etc.

There wasn't any Canada Geese there. But the other 2 times I was there I saw lots of them. But other than that it was a great Park.

I didn't get to fully explore the park as my first visit to this place was cut short. But I took one of my dogs there and walked thru some of the trails, he went into the river in a couple spots and according to his wagging tail and smile, he loved it. I want to go back here and see what more there is to offer.
