Got a whole bag of garbage on our walk. People seem to pick up doggie dodos but then throw the bag on the ground. Disgusting to say the least. As far as the natural elements and not the human ones are concerned, a lovely place to walk with trails all over the place.

Nice secluded trail area that makes you feel a million miles away, while in actuality it's right next door to civilization. Trails are not maintained in the winter, so conditions may be variable.

Fantastic walking trail. Beautiful pond. We walk there often. Lots of wildlife. All the little birdhouses are an added plus. Much bigger than it appears from the street.

Malcolmson Eco Park is a very cute park perfect for the family or biking. Avoid the area in the evening though as the bugs are terrible. There are numerous mini trails off the main ones and even a small area with bumps to practice biking. The pond area is a great place to see frogs. The path also connects to the canal and there is a nice viewpoint to watch the boats pass.

This a nice place to go for a walk. Its abit wet still so keep that in mind. I like that it connects to Sunset beach to extend the length of walk.

This park is really good. Nice for walk or ride ur bycicle. You can breath pure air feel relaxing. Nice trees and you you like photography then you will get nice pictures. Is a very quiet place with bird sounds. In winter I will come here and take some pictures. I guess with snow it will look beautiful. Highly recommend it

A jewel of a park with various colour-coded trails of various lengths which run parallel to the lovely Welland Canal, where there are additional places to bike, sit and watch the ships pass by through the locks. Some of the trails lead to Lake Ontario. You will pass wetlands, sanctuaries for a variety of birds, i.e. flora and fauna. The area doesn't appear to have bathroom facilities, my biggest issue. There is ample parking, and dogs must be on a leash.

My husband and I really enjoy visiting the Eco Park as often as possible! The hiking trails are beautiful, and well maintained. There is lots of space to add variety to your walking experience each time. The wildlife & natural scenery make for excellent photography opportunities! It is dog & child friendly, with plenty of parking. Advise to check for Tics when in season & enjoy the experience! ????

Any given day there will be a few dogs running around off leash. It really ruins the experience. Hubby had one chase him while cycling, and was bit. A lot of inconsiderate people frequent this park.

If you like gardening and looking for different tree species or birds this is a haven. There are massive sweet gum, tulip and cottonwood along with cork, hop, paw paw, red-bud, bitternut, Katsura, hackberry, Kentucky coffee and everytime I come here I find something new. See how many you can spot. I'm not sure when this park was created but I see new plantings all the time. While here watch the ships pass on the parks east side and watch for rare birds as this is the edge of town by the lake. A short walk to a major public beach. Also part of the shoreline trail and you can walk or ride it for miles.

Beautiful park, great group of people running it. I've volunteered here a few times and have always felt welcomed. The park itself offers great trails and different ecosystems to explore. Dogs are welcomed but should be kept on a leash.

The parking area is Free, nice BUT it is in a bad condition with lots of pot holes. The trails have a hike for all fitness levels/distances with something for all ages. Recently the maintenance seems to have vanished which may be a sign of the times. The bird life appears to have diminished which may just be my experience lately.

Great place in the area for a walk with the dogs. They do a good job at keeping the place super clean, and the main path is large enough to walk your dog, and giving ample space for bikes. I don't recall ever finding ticks on my dogs after a walk here. If you are walking at dusk, you may have some mosquito's, but you will get that everywhere. Super cool place to take my son to show the pond and the frogs, and the odd rabbit. Just please, keep your dogs on a leash to keep the wildlife safe.

Such a charming little park to visit here in St. Catharines. It's a beautiful park that offers a comfortable stroll through a natural setting here in the city without having to travel. The trails are comfortable to walk without any hiking or difficulty and there's some wonderful local wildlife to watch out for with plenty of birds and small animals in the woods.

Parking lot is small here, but a very nice park to walk year round. One can see the ships in the canal, numerous birds, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, lots of dogs being walked, and Jasper barking with joy.

Peaceful spot, with multiole trail routes suitable for walking or cycling on. The wetlands trail leads right to the spot on the Welland Canal where you can see large ships being raised up in the lock.

A beautiful walk. Sadly those who don't pick up after their dogs and those who graffiti information signs put a smear there. But don't let that deter you on an enjoyable walk on several different trails. There is a pond that you may be even able to skate on in when some kind people take the time to clear it. Look up also for the bird feeders that have been donated. Rated for all seasons.

This park offers various types of trails to meet individuals modalities. The wooded area is tranquil. There were a number of off shoot paths. One is in the city, yet feels like your in a forest. The individuals walk, dog walk, or jog. It is a great place to start walking. The people enjoying the park are friendly. Parking was ample. I thoroughly enjoyed the park.

The treed trails are clean and well maintained making a shady walk on a hot summers day or painted canvas in the fall season. Pet owners usually pick up after their pets. Parking right now is crazy, not as before covid. Enjoyable area for biking and walking.
