Best park to play, rest and explore
Large park on the water with playgrounds. And gardens
Nice park with two trails, lots of trees, a playground for the kids and free parking. A short walk across the bridge takes you into Port Dalhousie.
Went sledding it was a good hill, pretty busy, but there was room.
Very nice, well kept park.. I was swarmed by bees when I was there with my little though.. which I know is hard to control

Great park and bridge to walk for exercise or just a stroll to get out. There is also a children's park with playground equipment for a lot of fun.
Great big park with toboggan hill in winter and lots of room to roam.
Love the park. Grew up there.
Nice big park, lots of parking, playground for the kids and a bridge across to downtown Port Dalhousie. The remains of the 3rd Welland Canal is also a very cool historical feature.
Great walking place
Long relaxing walk. Clean and enjoyed the water and mature trees.
Great place for a quiet walk.
People need to start picking up thier trash and not leave it behind. Other then that the park is a great place to fetch with the dog or go fishing. Picnic in the park or learn about the history of one of the oldest lock systems in ontario.
Really nice to walk around!
Absolute favourite park in this city!
Beautiful park!
Fantastic park for the family and friends!
Beautiful decent sized park, that has paths winding through well kept gardens during spring, summer and fall and hillsides for great tobogganing in winter. Great for dog walking, especially over the Henley Pond, via a sturdy bridge, that leads into Port Dalhousie and the Lakeside park and beach areas.
Beautiful large park with willow trees by the water and Port Dalhousie.
Great place for family photos and wedding photos
Beautifully manicured park with paced walking trails, waterfront access, and gardens.
Nice weather, enjoy the view .

Beautiful park and bridge that connects to Port Dalhousie
Really nice place to go for a walk\bike ride, and you can always cross the bridge to get to port. Some of the places to sit have really nice views of the water. Gardens are really nice and there's an actual park for kids to play as well.
Beautiful gardens and walk path. Great playground for the kids! And well kept parking.
Beautiful place for families.
Evening lighting would be great. Kids were there with a running club and the drive in and parking lot were DARK
Great space for outdoor play, walks, or resting in nature.
Me and my fiance love going through Jaycee park from ontario street than we cross the bridge to go to port dalhousie definently a nice walk and place to check out.
This a great park. It is very nicely maintained. It has an entrance to the pedestrian bridge that crosses to Port Dalousie. Its on the site of the 3rd Welland canal. The original walls at the entrance and land anchors are still visible. It also was previously know as May's Ravine, as noted on original canal drawings and records of lands surrendered by George May and Christian May for the canal to be built.
Nice place!
A lovely park with a neat bridge to walk to port
Great place to walk and laugh
Nice place, and quiet.
Still a little wet but thats to be expected. Beautiful park!
Great little valley park that now connects to Port Dalhousie via long bridge.
What a jewel of a park! We stopped there for the first time after church. Being that it was 10 degrees and sunny, strolling through the park on well-kept walkways was a great pleasure. And the waterways on either side of a lengthy foot-bridge! Amazing! Love this city!
Great tobogganing for younger kids.
A beautiful and well maintained park. Highly recommended it
Good for taking dogs for a walk. Joggers love it and nice place for a stroll around the lake.
We love going here for family picnics. The path is also great for strollers with a uniquely long bridge and lovely views of the water.

STAY OUTTA THIS PARK!! LOCALS ONLY!! Children and adults alike have loved this park for as long as I can remember...I'm sure most ppl from the north end have a gorgeous spot they've cherished for decades that has great memories attached to it. Beautiful park with a lake next to it, a children's park and a nice long bridge.
One of the most beautiful, serene parks I've been to. I'm sure it was parks like this that helped St. Catharines earn the nickname, the Garden City!
This is my favourite Park in St Catharines. I've been going here since I was a child and now I bring my children here. I love packing a picnic and spending the afternoon here :)
Nice path and fields to walk on. Lots of trees for shade. Great place to have a picnic. Small playground for kids. Not crowded at all.

I like St. Catharines, Jaycee Park is a beautiful place to go.
Great spot for a walk (roll, ride, etc). Trail is wide and paved.... hilly enough for varietybut flat enough for those with mobility issues. Views are lovely. Can see water from almost everywhere. Lots of space for a safely distanced picnic.
Always a nice park to take a stroll in.
Good place to walk with a beautiful sight
Great place for relaxing, bird watching, meditation, and getting hissed at by geese. :)
A little slice of heaven, with a paved walking trail, surrounded by greenery. Includes a small kiddies playspace. Cross the bridge where you can see the Henley rowing venue and visit Port Dalhousie for a beverage or meal. Notable historic monuments here and there. No 'facilities' though. A perfect place for a walk with a friend.
Very nice large park with interesting landscape and views. Lots of people canoeing and playing sports and fishing.
Families come here with their kids to play. During winter it's a beautiful place with the frozen lakes and the snow, and I even saw swans!! ????
My family loves going to the park. We even got married in the park area. Very well maintained, beautiful location to just enjoy the fall colours or summer picnic fun
Beautiful little park we walked through to get to the river's edge so we could watch a regatta. Ample parking with a couple of porta-potties.
Nice park. Garbage cans in the parking lot. For people scooping poop. Clean

Lovely park with a wide path that takes you right into Port Dalhousie. One of my favourites in the city.
Lovely surprise. Enjoyed our walk with our little dog. Look forward to checking out the extent of the park.
This is a wonderful place to take a walk, or bike too. There is a playground for the young ones too. You can also enjoy a walk to Port Dalhousie using a pedestrian bridge that will take you over Martindale Pond. The Jayde Park is a place that will quickly become a favorite place to enjoy an afternoon.
I just love the walk trails. Today was very breezy which is nice after the super hot day we have been having. I go early morning 6:30 a.m to avoid the crowds since we are still in lock down cause of Corona Virus.
snowboarding on the hills here in winter back in the 90's was so fun! really nice park in the summer as well.
The wood chips are definitely cedar not the spruce I was expecting, low of the city to do this
Nice and clean place.
Love going for a walk or just sit and have my tea...you can park and walk into Port Dalhousie or sit and watch the rowers as well as the history of the original locks
Very nice park with a foot bridge connecting to Port Dalhousie shopping / restaurant area and Lakeside Park. Bonus there is a kids playground at each end of the walk.

Nice park
Lots of paths for walking or jogging. You can walk from park over to port Dalhousie beach area. There is a kids park and lots of parking available. This park also has big family events during Easter which are free fun.
Beautiful place to take the children! Playground is newer and the bridge is very fun to walk back and forth to Port Dalhousie.
Came to this park specifically to see the bridge. Before you get to the bridge there is a nice playground for the kids. If you are around the area it is a nice place for a walk. Also when you’re crossing the bridge you can see in the water that they have canoe competitions here. There is a place across the water where you can sit and watch but that’s on the other side of the water
It's nice, i want to go newly, with my family
Nice big clean park with lots of picnic space and shade. We bike and rollerblade here and even play frisbee!
Nice peaceful park, perfect for walks and picnics. The waterway bridge over the Henley is with great scenery
Beautiful park right along the water. I went for a walk along the paths there and it was great! Very clean space with lots of greenery. Great place to feel like you're away from the city while still being steps away from major intersections. Worth an afternoon trip!
Nice big park to take a four legged friend or even a two legged friend if you can find one
Lovely park with lots of trees. I'd love to see more flower beds put in though.

Relaxing
A great place to walk your dog. Lots of space for sports. Beware the lake monster.
Love this park! We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and pretty this space was as we are from out of town and don't have any nice parks like this in our community. Plenty of shady spots to have a picnic, read a book or take a nap. Long trails to walk your dog and the park itself is really well maintained. Hardly any signs of geese poop, weeds or litter and the lawn was cut nice and short. We recommend this park to everyone!
Beautiful park nice trails, right on the Henley
Great park for walking dogs and just walking in general. Nice park for children too. Great waterfront views and walkways.
Nice spot to see some of the remains of the Third Welland Canal. Nice park as well

Great family park!
Very busy on weekends. People have decorated trees for holidays. Items should be removed.
This is a great park to visit. It is one of the larger parks in St Catharines. There is a playground for the kids and a paved walking path. You can see part of one of the old canals here as well. There is lots of grassy areas to run and play as well as some benches to sit and relax. There is a walking bridge at the back of the park that will take you across Martindale pond to Port Dalhousie and Lakeside Park.

Cute little park. Great for younger kids.
Beautiful! Great place for plein air painting.
Really clean park
Great in the summer and winter.
They advertised a hamburger that clearly had bacon in the photo and then charged me extra for the bacon. Not going back and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Good place to go for a nature walk or even a run with the dogs. Beautiful scenery well kept by city. Lots of cool businesses to visit. From the parking lot, over the foot bridge and to the end of the pier in Port then back is about 5km.
Beautiful park. Very well taken care of. Lots of room on the paths for multiple patrons. The bridge connecting Jaycee park and Renee park is a great connection to get to Lakeside park. 15 minute walk from the parking lot to port.
My kids love this park. It always seems to be clean and well maintained
