Great spot to start a bicycle ride on a decent bike path down to Lake Erie. We've also gone from there and done a loop back thru Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake.

Great place to park and go for a stroll along the canal. Plenty of history to see with shipbuilders across the way and the locks. Parking can get filled during busy periods but I've always managed to get my space.

Interesting area to walk. You can do either a short or long walk on level ground that is great for persons using mobility aids. If you are lucky you can watch ships going thru the locks

The start of the Welland Canal path that goes all the way to Port Colborne. It's a fantastic trail. We did the entire path. 80km there and back!! It was a great bike ride.
