This location was by far my fav. I even went there for 4 years when I moved to edmonton. The service and stock in the last year has went way down hill. Saturday 10 am 2 tills open??????? Why???? And 1 was the 12 items or less

Great place for family and friend get togethers. In the area we were in, a little better maintenance as all the garbages were overflowing and looked to have been in that state for awhile.

Nice park, only issue we had were the cyclists. They using the pathways for speedruns and not slowing down and discounting in the blind corner. They had the attitude we own the road and beep you. Great playground thou.

Always a fan of easily accessible green space. The park has a small floating dock where you can launch a kayak, paddle board, etc. The park also has several picnic tables and connects to the walking paths that follow the Sturgeon River. It's worth noting that, depending on the weather, the paths connecting to the park can flood sometimes if the river rises enough.

Nice place to go if ylu want to forget the city life. Nice sunset view. But prepare insect repellents, place is infested with swarms of mosquitoes.

mews me

This place is very popular and I can see why. It is clean, has a professional port-a-pottie onsite, good but limited and they put out a mobile dock and rubber mat's for kayak and inflatable launching. The bird life is abundant and a wonder to behold. Share the waters, keep them clean, continue to be stewards in managing this location to keep it viable and safe for many more years to come.

Mark Fraser

Nice park with alot of activities though they only have washroom location

Ghadi Al Taki

a great place to enjoy fishing, an afternoon walk, spending the week-end with your kids, or for birding and photography. I recommend visiting Rotary Park and parking there, then walking under the bridge to reach this place, because there is a playground for kids. Come here on a sunny day to enjoy nature at its fullest, as there is a great variety of wildlife such as swallows, blackbirds, beavers, ospreys, moose, and much more. Please respect the animals during your visit and follow the rules and regulations. Bikes and scooters on the boardwalk scare away and disturb nesting animals. If you want to bring your dog, I recommend walking along the trail, and not on the boardwalk because dogs can also scare off any wildlife nearby. Have a fun visit and stay safe!

Beautiful scenery, great for walks, dogs on leash, canoing, kayaking, bird watching. This year however the water levels due to rain every day for 2 months straight the paths under each bridge are closed off and you have to walk around and the dock had been closed down due to Im assuming construction which it needs to undergo. All in all still giving it 5 stars as it is a beautiful addition to St Albert.

A wonderful place for outdoor recreation.

Great fishing, walleye and pike all day long

Jaime MacArthur (Macaruk)

We stayed at this park more as an easy overnight option and were pleasantly surprised. Every site has all hookups and complimentary wifi, the grounds are well taken care of, and there's a good amount of parking. To top it all off, st. Albert has every store you could need and the rv park is right next to a beautiful public park with a walking trail and a children's play area. Will be staying again!

Have to say. Worst experience so far kayaking. Boat launch looks like a place bodies are dumped. The "river" if you can call it that is so choked with weeds you can't even paddle without stopping constantly to clear your paddle. Don't even bother going there. Just a cess pool. To bad, it could have so much potential

Beautiful well maintained fields for my son's soccer, but super annoying that there are signs clearly stating no dogs on the fields and people still bring their dogs and let them go to the bathroom on the play areas?!!!! Um Gross!! Would like to see the SASA staff step up and ask them to remove their pets from the fields. Obviously the urine is not good for the grass and I don't care if you pick up your dogs other waste, there is still residue that I don't want my kid sliding, falling or playing on!

St. Albert Park Maintenance did an amazing job on the launching boat area. I go to this place on the weekday mornings and it's usually pretty clean. Would be nice if people don't leave their vehicle by the docking area just because it is closer.(I'm talking to you black Ford Truck, not going to mention your license plate) Unless if you're the amazing St. Albert Park Maintenance crews, then by all means.
