Came here to check out the dog park as I wanted to take my dogs to a park with the least mud. I’ve been to many other city-owned off-leash dog parks but this is definitely my new favourite. No grass so no mud. Other dogs and owners were friendly. Large space. No complaints :)

The Park it's self is great! ????The dog park on the other hand not so great????!!...Love that the city put a dog park there❤..But, there was no consideration for the dogs when city planned this????. They used river rock/pea gravel, which I do understand is probably the most cost effective way..But, it is causing injuries to the dog's paws. They can not even play and roll around with each other on gravel and cement as for they risk brusing or worse injuries...Just a place for your dog to use the washroom...

Most sublime sunrise! It's simply rejuvenating... I'm honestly speechless. All i did was sit on the misty wooden bench and just glance around, sinking in the orchestra of birds in the background.

Enclosed off leash dog park. Divided in to two sections, large part for dogs over 20lbs and smaller part for dogs 20lbs and under.

A lovely, small park a short walk from the Festival Theatre, right beside the Art Gallery. It has a nice water feature and several benches. Not much to do, but makes for a nice place to spend some downtime or a good place for photo opportunities with the waterfall as a background. It is also a good place to play Pokemon! There is one gym and several pokestops in the park, and 2 more gyms and 7 more pokestops within a short walk.

I mainly visit because of the off leash dog park. It’s great on rainy days if you do not want to get your pup dirty. The park is all pebble stones. There are two areas, the bigger one is for big dogs the other is for 20 lbs and lighter dogs. There is a water fountain and plenty of bowls on the park.

We Love coming to this community centre. There's plenty of free parking. It offers a Great variety of programs for kids of all ages. The skating arena is big and lots of benches to sit as well as an upper viewing sitting area where it's not so cold. But kitchen area needs to be updated asap!

Its a lot more run down from when I was a kid. Hasn't been upgraded or maintained. There are a lot of wet patches in the grasses really have to keep an eye on the kids when you have them play at this park!! Still has a lot of memories attached to it!

Used to be nice. Fountain used to work. Graffiti all over the bridge and all over this beautiful stone wall near the fountain. Graffiti looks intentionally placed by the city, looks awful, likely ruined the stone wall.

I went to this park when I had to wait for my food which I was suppose to pick from Hakka Legend. I came to this park and I felt at peace. The ambience was poetic. It also has swings for children and I am sure they would love this park. Moreover, this park is near residential area henceforth, it is a great attraction for everyone.

I like to take kids to park when ever I can, weather permitting. This park has a nice playground and a walking area. There is another small playground on the other end of the park. The view is good and it also has good parking area.

Playground, basketball courts, beach volleyball, tennis courts, dog park and Centennial Arena and Recreation Centre next door. Lots of activities for everyone. There are no lights for the volleyball courts so play has to end at sundown. Water pools at the north end of the volleyball courts as the ground is not properly graded to the nearby drain. Updated Aug 30/20: Arena is closed on weekends so there is no washroom access ...outdoor water fountain is not working. Negative experience for folks picnicking or playing sports in the park.

I went to the Queen City Exabition and I will never go back again . It's been 8 years since I've been there and when I went this year I found it to very exspensive and they had to make it a lot smaller both in rides and games plus they dont have that good of food selections anymore to many of the same things . I was told they raised there prices for the local vendors to rent a spot so they lost a lot of them which sucks .
