Beautiful however the Paladin security people locked myself and my family with 8 vehicles in the parking lot.

Nice scenic park with plenty of parking, picnic tables and benches as well as washroom by parking area. Bit of a walk to get to the river but very scenic with information boards throughout the area to educate on ecology of area.

Just waded in the water before the thunderstorm. It was very nice and peaceful. Low mosquito activity. P.s. saw a guy peeing and he apologized, I said it's okay we didn't notice, he said "there isn't much to notice amyway" LMFAO. Great day. First rainfall after the heatwave, very nice vibes. :)

DINOS THE OLYMPIOS

Nechako Riverside Park Construction Work is underway to construct a new park near Foothills Bridge on the Nechako river. The park will include a new riverfront picnic area, riverfront access, trails, and an accessible parking lot, outhouse, and upper picnic area. A design of the park is available and construction is scheduled for completion later this year.

Beautiful park, lovely to access river, but incredibly annoying that it's closed for most of the year (gates are locked and closed all winter).

Met up with the boys for a swim in the river. The water was warmer than bathwater, and the strong current was fun to swim in. The Riverside park is very well maintained and opens up hundreds of meters of useable shoreline on the Nechako River, which is enjoyed by pets and owners alike. The city has done a great job of creating it and keeping it useable and accessible for all. I'm looking forward to going again next week! :D
