If you are into walking at a slow ambling pace plus want GOOD look around then I'd recommend walking both town circuits.

Nice little Park just over the old Bridge at the pulpmill rd

I hike these cutbanks every week and they are awesome. You can go straight up or take the zig zag on the right hand side. There's also a rope you can use and get more of a full body workout as well. Going straight up can take about 5-10 minutes with little to no breaks.

Beautiful park but absolutely HATE the access to the actual park. Having to walk along a tiny edge between a road and a steep embakement into the creek is stressful and concerning when walking a dog or have any small kids. If you're on the other side of the barrier, you then risk getting hit by a fast moving car coming around the corner.

The loop trail is a lot more vertical than I expected. The view from the top of the cutbanks looking over town is very good. The trail that just leads to the viewpoint is short and easy so you could easily take kids or have a picnic or something. The whole loop trail is very easy but you do spend a lot of time heading up and down if you have bad joints they might ache a little. Expect to take a little under an hour to do the loop.

A walk with a great industrial view of Prince George! Uphill, downhill and a great way to get the heart pumping then enough to get it slowed down again. A great spot to pack a lunch and have a little picnic. Lots of saskatoons too! Please, please pick up after yourselves and your pets! Thank you!

Really enjoyed this park. One of Prince George's best. Very scenic beautiful Creek ample parking and enough trails to make it worth an outing with the family or by oneself. Check it out for yourself enjoy The View from the top of the cut Banks overlooking pretty much the entire city. Don't forget to bring a camera or your phone. you won't regret it

Best views of Prince George. Some good walking trails and nice grassy patch at the top for frisbee or a small fire. The Cutbanks (accessible from top or bottom) are a great in-town hike and the sand bank is an amazing workout that can easily be run before or after work. About 100m elevation gain at ~ 30 degree slope. Try not to use the rope!
