This is a great park in the middle of Prince George. The views are amazing, you can see the whole city from up here. There are lots of trees and other greenery, and plenty of spots for picnics or just enjoying your day.

Great place for a picnic or to simply relax and enjoy the view of the city. Side note that isn't well known: This is a no dogs allowed park, and Bylaw does patrol to check for compliance! There are many beautiful gardens with colorful flower arrangements to take in during your visit.

Great view overlooking downtown Prince George. Easy access by vehicle, moderately easy walk up. Great place to spend an hour or so. Lots of parking, picnic tables available. Best place for a picnic in Prince George.

Connaught Hill is beautiful; the lawns, gardens and trees are well manicured. The canopy of trees throughout the park provide just the right amount of shade on hot summer days. The parking spots and picnic tables provided are strategically placed, for the right amount of privacy. I only give 4 stars because...bugs.....but those critters add to the atmosphere in their own way, so bring some repellent. The park is perfect day or night for a peaceful getaway from city life, without going too far.

I have grown up and worked in downtown Prince George my whole life. The beautiful park has always been an oasis in the middle of our little city. A wonderful place for exercise, social activity, jist sneak away and have lunch. Visitors should be aware it is closed for the winter except for the Chritmas lightshow.
