REVIEWS OF Little Red River Park IN Prince Albert

Tom Swain

Great place for lunch / supper bbq and a walk, hike about.

Robert Moulton

Beautiful location for day picnic . Sadly no public washrooms

Mike Killingbeck

I've been up in the Prince Albert area for 10 years. I've never been to Little Red until recently. Beautiful place.

andrene naytowhow

I am glad they repaired the bridges at the park it snowed lots yesterday so it should be good.

Payton Herriot

Nice place to go hiking, snowboarding, skiing, sledding, take the dogs for a walk, a nice park for kids to play at and a great place to have a barbeque

Melody Maggrah

I love going to this park to let our dogs run around. We like the trails and the open space. It's always neat and tidy, but the only thing lacking is the outdoor bathrooms. They should have the same ones the city has at Kingsmen Park. They're kept clean and services them extremely well. All in all, Little Red is a great place to go. Too bad the city doesn't have one in the city itself. That would be super great if the city could construct a park just like Little Red Park.

LeeJay Dillon

Good place to take your family and go walk the trails in the forest. Lots of hills.

Chrissy Halliday

This place has many Kms of trails for mountin biking, hiking, snow showing and skiing!

Downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing in the winter. Hiking through the park or through the bush, or a walk across the swinging bridge in the summer. Little red is a great place to pick berries in the summer as well. Can't forget to mention the outdoor fire pits for hot dog and marshmallow roasting, or just to sit around the fire with your loved ones, telling scary stories with the crackling sound of the wood burning in the background. Add the sound of birds chirping, crickets and frogs, and the whirling sound of the wind. Such a relaxing and meditating sound to relax to.

Conrad Kruger

Nice walk in nature ...but take your bug spray

Erin C

Beautiful even in the winter, they have good walking trails as well as the ski trails.

Jo McKay

Favourite family fun park with year round trails. 1200 acres and in the city limits! 2km from the one PA bridge on hwy 55 for the main entrance. Lodge is open year round as well.

Joshua McKnight

Amazing Park! I went here with Friends! And even though it was chilly we had so much Fun! Thank Goodness we knew how to make a Fire!! But for Winter definitely come here to Slide! (Caution! Hills will be crazy bumpy!!) And in Summer come here to have A Little Camp Fire or Explore! It's always a Blast coming to this Park! ????

What a Beautiful spot. Had supper at the cosmopolitan lodge. The bistro has very good food and the atmosphere is lovely

Sheri Florizone

A bit more care and attention to this gem of a local park would go a long way to making it a shining jewel.

Warren33

Our city park just outside the city. Shake off the isolation doldrums or shake up yer lazy weekend routine and go for a hike, jog or leisurely walk in our beautiful expanse of forest park 5 min outside of PA. Stop in at the Cosmo Restaurant for great breakfast before or a morning walk or take a moonlight stroll after a gourmet evening meal at PA's latest must try bistro.

Corne Smith

Beautiful Winter cross country skiing experience and Summer walking trials!

Daniel Folkins

Very accessable park has lots to offer. My wife and I walked a couple of the trails before taking in supper at the cafe. At first I was put off by the "well-used" condition of the paper menus; but when the food came, I was so excited that I forgot to take a photo! It was delicious, and not hard to recommend. The trails can be hiked, biked, or skied in the winter. I look forward to going back to try some of the other trails, and maybe have lunch at one of their picnic tables.

Ali Cat

So peaceful and beautiful Long lovely nature trails.

Mosabbir Alam

Fantastic Place for Day picnic & Walking trails

Sylvie Bouffard

Was so impressed with the vast network of hiking/mountain biking trails on my first visit that I came back to explore more, inside and outside the park. My riding was cut short on the pleasant encounter with multiple Saskatoon berry bushes and blueberries bushes, which made for a great snack and good picking. Riding is difficult in some places because of the sand but with mountain bike tires should be fine. More maps posted here and there would be useful. Be aware, if you venture outside the park on the north road leaving from the gold course, you might get chased by 2 unleashed "dangerous" dogs.

Matt Jenkins

Really great and close to town as well.

Gashaw Fetene

A beautiful place to go for nature walk. Bike route and walking trails during Spring to Fall seasons and cross country ski trails during Winter season.

Ronnie Thorimbert

Dianne Mardell

Outdoor bathrooms need cleaning, otherwise great.

Mike Fisher

I was there April 16 2021 and enjoyed the pickerel dinner that was cooked to perfection. Then indulged in the Chocolate wellington dessert, I would rate that as best dessert ever served to me in my life. It's one of those that you can never forget. Highly recommended. Great service too.

Warren Nekurak

Extremely disappointing. Swinging bridge had DANGER WARNINGS, several trash cans tipped over with trash everywhere, (metal trash cans rusted completely thru so no bottoms anyway) some gates still locked 10:30am, river so low unusable ( why not dam a bit so canoes can use it?) All this weeks prior civic election. Clearly current Council couldn't care less about this park, and new business out there attracting many visitors to the park. Embarrassing!!!!

Mahdi Kowsari

Good get away if in PA. You can x-country or hike (short trails even maintained in winter. There is a small downhill ski as well.

Gordon Stuart

Great first visit. Great food and setvice.

Ray Wobma

Just a great spot to take a breathe.
