Disappointing staffs. I have been to AJ for the past 5 years. However, I cannot give this place more than a one-star rating. The staffs, especially the two older ladies have not only been unfriendly, but also rude. They have yelled at me and my friends numerous times. Yes, sometimes we make mistakes (hanging on the rim, spilling water, etc) and it is the staffs' responsibility to correct our mistakes, but please do it politely. Do not yell at us. If they read this review, they will probably know who I am but I want everyone who is considering to attend AJ to be aware of the rude staffs that gave me unpleasant experience. My family pays taxes and part of those taxes goes to those staffs salary. Honestly, this makes me upset. They work in a public building facilitated by the City. I'm not asking for staffs to smile at us every time. I just think they should at least be polite and have basic business manners since they work in public.

Always a great time at Alfred Jenkins. The weight is slacking a bit, but the track is really good for sprinting. The other people in public are always respectful and always appreciate the respect back. Nice facility all in all. Prepaid drop-ins are the way the go and are priced fairly.

Great facility but the communication and scheduling is appalling... multiple times we've called ahead to use the soccer field and the schedule was wide open. After driving 45 minutes to use the soccer field we were let down to find out that a local soccer team took the field and according to the front desk they come in and take the field wholly without scheduling.. completely unacceptable!.. again... this has happened multiple times.

If using the facility as a gym, it's mediocre. Definitely not worth the price as there isn't much for equipment and the room is tiny. All members pay the same membership price, yet only SaskTel customers can access the wifi, which for $40/mth just to walk in the door, should be available free to everyone. Seems a bit elitist. Even McDonald's offers free wifi to everyone... The track is nice, but there should be a separate fee that's less than the membership for access to it. The membership fee is way too high if all your doing is walking the track. Most of the staff seems nice, but the people working the front desk really put off "I don't want to be here and I don't want to interact with you" vibes. The one older lady really seems rude. The classes I've attended so far have been fun and the instructors are nice.

An all purpose rec centre and sports facility. The indoor running track is great in the winter!

Has a great basketball court but it's always booked for volleyball. The equipment is all old but if you bring your own it's really fun.

Looks like a very nice and clean facility. Very disappointed to find out there is not any program offered for those with low incomes or disabilities to help cover the cost of the fees. Many other places if you're low income etc you can get into the facilities for free. Very disappointed with this not being the case in Prince Albert.

Superb facility for the archery provincials! Excellent walking track and top notch stationary bikes. Big gymnasium and the indoor football pitch is a great addition to the city.

it's got turf time for babies, indoor soccer, a 3 lane (square cornered) track upstairs and a basic weightroom, it would cover the basics for anyone

I've used the facilities there in the past, the upstairs running track in particular. Well worth the price. The gym is modern and has both free weights and machines as well ass cardio. Will use again when i come back.

Excellent facility but 2 staff members were very rude to me and my family. The older lady at the counter has quite the mouth on her and seemed to be purposely withholding information from me. We came to climb but she said it was already in use, so we came back later and she made no mention of having to book the wall. So we come back for the 3rd time and she says "Oh yes you have to schedule appointments for the wall", so why the heck didn't you mention that when I was there earlier???? The short guy they have running the rock climbing wall was also very rude. I can't count how many times I seen him roll his eyes or make comments to the 13 year old I was looking after. He told the 13 year old "WOW YOU HAVE BIG FEET!". Imagine hearing that as a child coming from a stranger??? That would be so embarrassing, plus having to be around him for the next hour. This unacceptable behavior for anyone, especially staff. This was their first time climbing and the instructor got mad at him for picking up the harness to put it on when he didn't tell him he had to step into it. When our time was over he was shouting at the 13 year old to take his shoes off while he was sitting down obviously trying to take them off. Please talk to your staff members about keeping a friendly atmosphere for ALL GUESTS because those 2 make me not want to come back anymore.

Great facility just don't plan to eat at the canteen. Their fries are uncooked chunks of potatoes with some terrible kind of seasoning on it. We bought two orders and threw 1 and a half out.

Great place to work out. Large weight room on 2nd floor as well as a 3 lane running track on the third floor.
