Average Rating:

DESCRIPTION

Here you have the opinions of real people who used the services of Morgan's Point Conservation Area (Park) in Port Colborne (Canada).

At the present this firm gets a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and this score has been based on 127 reviews.

As you can see the average score it has is virtually the best one, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the assessment is very faithful. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to set evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Park is classified in the category of Park.

REVIEWS OF Morgan's Point Conservation Area IN Port Colborne

Chuck Fluri

Not much here really. The lake is dangerous in this area. Many have drowned here. Severe undertows (rip tides).

Larry Vanstone

Playground for the kids, trails to hike, well manicured grounds to relax in and enjoy. Lots of parking and easy access off Highway 3.

Very nice little park to take the family for a picnic or a walk. Has some nice boardwalks through the trees and lots of fossils in the rocks on the shore line of your into that. Not usually very busy which is also nice, nature is best when it's quiet and not full of people.

Peter Kruusi

We saw Autumn Leaves were falling from the the Trees as we walked back from the lakeshore to the parking lot.

Arrived on Monday afternoon. In the peacefulness, the area resembled bird sanctuary. It is a meeting place for herons, gulls and geese.

Quiet little spot on Lake Erie, nice spot for a picnic and walk on the beach. The beach is quite rocky with little sand however it’s a great spot to see some fossils and take in the sunset.

Richard H.

Very nice conservation area. Has a nice safe playground for kids, dog friendly large open field for tossing a football or playing games and lots of shade if needed. There is a small forested area with trails and we'll maintained washroom facilities. The beachfront is pretty large but is quite large but is all rock. You can easily launch kayaks and canoes at the end of the road for a nice paddle on calm days. Gates are locked at night and opened in the morning.

Nice friendly community park

Kyra Moate

Super family friendly. We went for the morning with our kids on a recommendation from a friend and there was so much to explore and do.

Andrew Zanella

Safe and quiet park with a playground set, parking plus hiking trails through the forest which lead to the shore. The only thing to keep in mind is that there really isn't a beach here. The majority of the shoreline is covered in rock and pebbles. There is some sand but that is the minority here so don't expect a large beach to relax on. There are lots of grassy areas to play and relax on and the road traffic is minimal around the area.

Excellent jem within Ontario’s landscape to bring friends and family including little ones for a day trip to have a picnic and enjoy the warm shores of Lake Erie. It’s a different type of beach as the well washed and flattened rock line creates a new experience for your feet to explore. Parking is limited so get there early or get creative! The size of the entrance trees were wowing the views and reminded me a little of BC. Would go again ????????????

James Moate

Beautiful point to explore with family

G. Jones

Beautiful spot to spend a afternoon. Water, playground, park and boardwalk with decent washrooms surprisingly considering it is off the grid. Take bug spray if you walk the trails near nightfall.

Great place for a walk or a picnic. Nice play area for kids. Clean bathrooms

Mel Roberts

A great day trip destination. Lovely treed park area, paths to walk, including a boardwalk through the trees along the shore. Walking the stone slab beach is fun. The beach is rocky and full of shell pieces, no sand really but it's comfortable enough if you come prepared. Bathroom facilities are typically available. There is also a large playfield and a playground but you might want to bring some shade with you if you plan to stay a while. Hot sun all day and less trees around this area. This park has a great vibe!

Ashley Morin

Beautiful spot to lay back. The beach is not sandy its mostly rocky. Still a good quite spot to hang out. The water tends to be a lot ruffer here, nice spot to read a book.

This place has a lot of meaning to me, as it was where my grandfather used to live nearby and go for walks with me as a child. It's still the same and always has been quite a nice little part, with a wooden walkway and makes it very convenient for anyone to walk

Morgan’s point is a conservation area with a rock beach and sand dunes. However in 1984 Morgan‘s point was a campground and I camped there with my family for five years. It’s a neat little hideaway talked on the shores of Lake Erie with lots of shade for a picnic a children’s playground and a long rock beach.

Kenny Teal

Saline Hansen

Amazing beautiful beach. Perfect for all ages. Swimming are. A beach for view. Billions and billions of shells all over the Beach

Tammy Hodges

Was disappointed by how rocky the shore line "walkway" is...sharp jagged rocks.

Elias Alaoui

Enji Alkurdi

Great, go in summer it's still cold now over there ???? and some trails are closed .

Wyatt Richardson

Wish it was a more maintained, would help preserve the land around.. beautiful spot to explore or for a morning walk to watch the sunrise!

Jim Vanderhoek

Small, simple park with natural dunes covered with trees and brush, rocky beach, not good for swimming, bathrooms are old portable style. Small playground for kids. Ok for a picnic or a short walk.

Kelly Hudson

Very nice park for family picnic/event. Beachfront is beautiful but is mostly all rock, no sand. Entry to water for swimming would be difficult and very slippery. Although flat it is all slippery rock face. But very beautiful and private beachfront. Great place to relax and read a book or just to listen to the waves.
