Lots of different bird houses to see. Bird houses represent actual places in the local area. Some are broken/need repairing but neat nonetheless! There are some nearby trails for hiking too

I only drove by the other day, but I used to visit lots when I was a kid. I have very fond memories of the place and it looks like it’s improved since then. Bring a bird book in the warmer weather with your kids. So cute.

Plenty of space for a family outing/hike. Trail connected to a heritage house which is beautiful. The trails go UPHILL, very steep. Very muddy and icy this time of year. Birdhouse city is large and well kept! Very cute.

Bird house city and the Macaulay Mountain Conservation area situated next to it are incredible. Exploring either can be a great activity for families or anyone really who wants to explore nature and get a look at some of Prince Edward County's wildlife. I would absolutely recommend it for a day hike, and you can come back multiple times because there are many different trails to choose from.

Lol very cool spot here showcasing these amazing little miniature birdhouses. Literally little houses. There are so many different ones and I believe some of them are replicas of various structures in Picton and Prince Edward County. It’s worth a visit. Very odd though that I never did see any birds while I was there. ???? ????☺️

If you've been stuck in a car and need to stretch your legs, or you are interested in or are familiar with Prince Edward County's historic buildings, or you appreciate woodworking and or you enjoy strolling around 20 or so bird houses then Birdhouse City is for you. They are perched 10ft to 15ft above ground which means they can be viewed from underneath or from a distance. Meh... I gave it a 5star rating for what it is but personally, I don't need to return.

A really nice place to walk around and enjoy some nature. It is a nice park with trails and hiking area around it. Paths are well taken care of to walk around and view the bird houses.

If you want to see some birds or get inspired to build your own bird houses this is a great place to visit. While you are there be sure to explore the trails of McCauley Mountain park. Beautiful!

A city of birdhouses that suddenly appears just outside of downtown Picton. Yes, there are many of them and many different houses, so I recommend stopping and walking through the park.

I'm not really sure how to accurately review this location. It is what is claims to be. It has a lot of hand crafted birdhouses representing local buildings along with some notable international buildings. If you like birds and cutesy woodworking projects this could be a 5 star location for you to visit. You can escape into the woods of the conservation area across the parking lot, if the hustle and bustle of Birdhouse City becomes overwhelming.

Nice and interesting art project. Lots of parking though its paid parking, more than I would want to pay to walk through 3.5km of the adjoining conservation park. (5$ / day) but it is for a good cause. The conservation park trails are a little overgrown but amount to a nice little stroll. Very enjoyable. (* This years drought has made the creek very dry) Nice alternative or add on to visiting Picton Main.

It's a park for walking on trails, picnics, has a pond, toilets. Good parking. Dozens of custom made birdhouses grouped in a area for easy viewing.

It was way to icy to do the hiking we wanted but the bird houses were a good distraction. Most are in poor condition and a few have blown right over...but it was like walking through an odd sort of graveyard and that was ok

Interesting place with many different birdhouses. Nice picnic spot but be careful of the bugs. Parking cost is $5 and has to be paid through the app "pay by phone".

Very unique park. It is worth the visit if you haven't been here as it is an interesting community project. Unfortunately many of the bird houses are rundown and could use some attention.

This is a very unique concept but there aren't many actual birds. A few of the poles are empty and one house fell... I just hope not from vandalism. The houses that remain are worth a look though if you are in the area.

Great place to park and snowshoe...only downside is I just noticed a sign and was told you have to pay to park. Won't be paying to park here...will walk from another area in future.

Cool spot to check out! The designs are fantastic. Easy to spend ~30 minutes or so before heading out for a hike at macaulay. Some of them are broken down or missing, but there’s over 100 unique bird houses to check out!

No bathroom, and the bird houses are looking very run-down. The bridge across the ditch into the birdhouse area is fully collapsed. This area needs some TLC!

Cute little area. Interesting to see all the bird house. Would make it nicer if they were maintained in some way as time and weather have not been their friend. Grass area around the town has been maintained nicely so it is easy to walk around. Cute little spot for sure.

The trails are a little rough and not well marked. They are also multi-use, so watch out for ATVs. The birdhouses are well worth the trip.

We did not spend alot if time looking at the birdhouses. We did enjoy the long hike straight up the hill. We recommend the yellow trail. It get confusing at the top just switch to the green trail. Some wet places if you stay at the bottom. If you have splash pants on the hills are steep enough you can get down quite quickly on your butt. I enjoyed it.

Birdhouse City - what a place !! Highly recommend going backwards through and saving Massassauga Park Hotel (Occupancy: 83 birds!!) for last! Like a graveyard of mini landmarks and odd structures

Great outdoor area but conservation board is not maintaining public grounds now. Was good area for wedding photos but not now.
