Hiked from the parking lot to the glass platform. The platform was worth it. Zipline is closed for Covid. Recommend the short magical forest trail with kids - it really is a unique setting among warped cedars and unusual rocks that our daughter felt was truly magical. We noted that many hikers do not care about physical distancing or wear masks when distance can't be maintained. Also many are taking shortcuts on paths and destroying some of the hillside.

Visited during off season (November). They are definitely investing a lot in making the area more tourist friendly, with great signals, buildings and organized areas. The trails have little information boards sharing quick facts of the region history! + there are boards to protect and preserve nature. Definitely would visit again ☺️

The facilities (toilets and showers) are less practical. Unfortunately, ready-to-camp looks nothing like Sépaq or Parks Canada. I recommend more Geopark excursions. (Original) Site magnifique! J'ai adoré la Grotte. À faire à pieds ou en véhicule 4x4 pour s'y rendre plus rapidement. Le camping annexé au site est pratique quoique trop achalandé. Les installations ( toilettes et douches) sont moins pratiques. Le prêt-à-camper ne ressemble malheureusement en rien à la Sépaq ou à Parcs Canada. Je recommande davantage les excursions du Géoparc.

We visited this place when it first open in 2017. There is a navette that can bring you up if you are not able to do the hike. The hike is beautiful, the trail is very lush. We even found picnic tables inside. Directions are clear and the paths are well marked. Once you are on the platform the view is breathtaking and amazing! There are chairs and a small bar for drinks. We would definitely go again!

We called to ask about the Tektonik show in English and were told it was open. We drive 50 mins from Gaspe and when we arrived at the InfoCentre we were told that the English show would be at 15:30. We then stopped at the Geoparc and the person told us to come back at 1600. It was a rainy day and the only reason we travelled to Perce that day was to see the Tektonik so we hung around with nothing really to do in the rain and fog and returned at 1600. The same person we had talked to now said the English show was now at 1700. We were very unhappy and had wasted an entire day waiting. This lack of knowledge is not acceptable and ruined our entire day.

The staff is super friendly, our four season tent was totally fine, nothing fancy but you're camping. Good facilities for showers and toilets. Super short walk to pier, bars and hiking trails. It was such an enjoyable stay.

The trails are well laid out and although it was a lot more wet the day before they were quite dry. Perfect with good hiking boots. Paid parking but free trails ... Le sentier La Grotte est à faire, nous n’avions pas regardé les photos avant d’y aller et nous avons donc eu une magnifique surprise. Les sentiers sont bien aménagés et même s’il avais beaucoup plus la veille ils étaient assez secs. Parfait avec de bonne bottes de randonnée. Stationnement payant mais sentiers gratuits …

(Original) Deux avis dans le meme : 1-L’activité TEKTONIK a l’intérieur du pavillon à l’entrée du geoparc, c’était amusant mais pas plus.. personnellement j’ai trouvé ca un peu ennuyeux et je n’ai pas vraiment appris lors de mon passage là-bas. À 18,50$ je ne trouve pas que ça en vaut nécessairement la peine. C’est un parcours interactif mais il manque un peu de piquant pour que ce soit intéressant pour tous. 2-Les sentiers du Geoparc et les points de vus sont vraiment exceptionnels. C’est les panoramas les plus beaux que j’ai vu et combien accessible. J’aurais donné 5 pour les sentiers et 3 pour l’activité tektonic.

I tried the "tektonik" presentation. The multimedia/art people did a great job... but the information/science people where either not consulted or ignored. Basically, the visual effects are pretty good, but the presentations are 95% pointless gibberish. For example, they will say useless blah blah for 50 sec (i am the ghost of that girl, the rocks speaks, if you listen they will tell you stuff, blah blah blah", then say there are fossils in the rocks around here... end of the presentation. What kind of fossils? Why does it matters? What do they look like? No information whatsoever... Almost all of their little presentation are worthless speeches with shiny light all to say nothing valuable in the end. There was only a short one about the trip le rocher percé took around the earth throughout millions of years which was interesting... and lasted about 1 min. What an absolute waste of time and ressources. They really could have done something great with the multimedia ressources they had, but they made garbage out of it.

Le 11 septembre un campeur avait laisse ses deux chiens dans sa roulotte alors qu il est sorti pour la soiree. Il est revenu a minuit moins 20, lors de son absence ses chiens ont aboye non stop. Je voulais parler au staff pour leur faire part. Mais personne juste des boites vocales et ce apres 20:00. Pour cela je donne un trois etoiles. Je suis moi meme proprio de chiens.
