It's fine not very large and fencing isn't great to keep in the dogs but if you're dog listens you shouldn't have any issues off leash

Great space that is nicely fenced off. Beautiful walk thru the park and some near by garden the way to the beach. However, we found lots of broken glass (beer) along the shore line. Maybe from boaters tossing beer bottles into the lake??? Collected 4 handfuls. Have a carefully look when you arrive. A cut paw or foot would certainly ruin the fun!

It's currently locked due to social distancing (hopefully the restrictions will be lifted soon!) but when it's open... How blessed are we to get the best view while our dogs run and play in clean water in a Sandy beach. There is the odd broken glass, but part of being a responsible dog owner is helping clean that up. Penticton is a town to move to if you love dogs.

It's not off leash but dogs are allowed in the parts of the park on leash. Confusing for a dog owner thats stopping in the city just for the dogs to get some exercise

Nice Fenced in area close to main beach and walking paths. It is very rocky, so can be slippery for the pooch, and lots of broken glass. I'm always concerned about possible damage to paw pads.

Beach is great, but there is only one door leading in (not the double caged area) and our exuberant puppy escaped twice. Only downfall though and we learned to watch out!

My favourite dog beach in the area. Quite rocky in the water but an easy decline into swimming depth for both my lab and I. Clean and sandy beach that I would feel comfortable sunbathing at or playing with my dog.

I love being close to the water! This "doggie" park is a nice place to stop and reflect on things before diving back in. It is clean and the dogs are on leashes or under the watchful eyes of their owner(s).

Dog beach is far too small. Any amount of dogs over 3 creates territory issues between our animals. Will rarely come here again.

An excellent beach to take your dog to. Close to town, close to other amenities including a boat launch. Plus the views of Okanagan lake are awesome

It was so comforting. It's very relaxing. I need yo do it more often. The weather is getting warmer it will be good to walk more.
