We went twice now. This year was not as good as 2019 as there weren't much of fall colors at the location. But the cruise itself is a good experience for kids. Next time planning on flying with grill.

Although we did not take the boat ride, we did visit the gift shop and ice cream stand and we IMPRESSED to say the least at the size of the ice cream scoops!!! Delicious and a great experience, thank you!

Nice place for icecream, and cute gift shop. My only complaint is the lack of organisation around ordering icecream. You order, then wait outside, but there isn't a good way for you to know when your order is ready, other than checking back regularly/standing outside the door with your ear pressed to it

You get your money's worth doing this cruise. It is really amazing to see the waterways of Georgian Bay. Everything there is I love it. I would definitely recommend this on their list if you are in Ontario area.

An absolute delight. We did the three hour afternoon tour. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of room on the ship. A perfect sunny warm day maximizes the experience, sometimes not always the case when making reservations in advance. Hope you hit the right day????

Do not miss this Cruise at any cost and this statement gives you an idea what an exceptional experience it was even when it was a cloudy day so I missed blue lake water but that's fine. We loved the time we spent there on the deck. Our dog was in the kennel, otherwise not permitted, so get a kennel if visiting with a pet. Food was good on board, fair prices and coffee was good. Keep camera handy as you would need it.

A great thing to do for the day. I did the afternoon Cruise a d it was fantastic. Plenty of seating and being in the top deck with view of everything around is just amazing. Tons of pictures will be taken and even get some historical and general information during the Cruise.

My boyfriend and I did this yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed it. Amazing views and nice breeze even on a hot day. It was quiet with covid but made for such a nice experience not fighting people for views. Beers and food are fair prices. Would go again!

Went for the 3h afternoon cruise last weekend and had a beautiful time! Touring around the 30,000 Islands area was gorgeous. Crew were knowledgeable and helpful, provided hand sani and information that supplemented the informational recordings. Bring a face covering - it's not always possible to keep 6 feet away from other passengers. Lots of parking at the dock and was happy to note that a canteen to buy snacks and beverages was open on the ship. The boat also has washrooms on board.

I'd never even heard of this attraction. I have family that live in the area and recommended it to my wife and I. We did a 3 hour cruise where we got to see the colour change of the leaves along the shoreline and checked out many of the cottages in the area. The tour has a recorded tour guide that provides you with some unique history of the are that I would have never known about. Totally worth the cost to do it!

We took the three hour noon tour, it was very calming. There were alot of cottages and beautiful landscape. Incredibly beautiful! The cruise does offer some food and drinks, accepting cash and debit. Three hours was a bit long but beautiful none the less. They should warn you when they are sounding the horn as it is extremely loud and really hurts the ear drums.

It was raining and not enough seats in the covered deck. Many people ended up standing for the full 1.5 hours cruise. Staffs are helpful but the super crowded situation certainly impact the overall experience.

We rode on a boat tour to Henry's fish and chip, had lunch and came back. The whole tour took 3.5 hours. It was fun and their staff is friendly. It was a great experience.

Oh yeah, finally got to go on this cruise! The 3 hours flies by as you soak in the rays on the deck and listen to the occasional broadcast of ecological and historical facts. Good for families from anywhere in the world.

We did the island adventure tour and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't think my kids would have enjoyed the 2-4 hour cruises but this was perfect with a little sight seeing plus time on an island.

As a surprise 75th Birthday to my dad we surprised him with a cruise to Henry's Fish and Chips aboard the Islander. My mother ended up being a little unwell (after a recent fall) at the time of the cruise and the care and concern that the staff took with her to ensure she was okay and cared for during the excursion was above and beyond. I am happy to say that all 11 of us ended up having a wonderful time (my mom was and is fine and she too enjoyed herself). The cruise is fabulous, the staff fun and knowledgeable and of course the food at Henry's was amazing! From the 75 year old to the six year old and all of us in between we had a great day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This is a really neat experience. People are very friendly. What food or drink will be offered seems to be inconsistent, so I would ask ahead, if like me a 3 hour tour required a drink or two. It's a bit steep, considering other experiences, but I really don't know how much it would cost to run a boat like that. Certainly worth trying once though. I feel sorry for the people trying to enjoy their cottage when the ferry tugs by and blasts its horn 2xday!

Very disappointed in there COVID 19 protection There was no social distancing in the common areas. People were not wearing masks. We called ahead and inquired about the practices in the place for covid as we are seniors and like to take precautions. We were told that they would be going around and wiping down surfaces every 20 minutes. We never saw a crew person in our area. People were asked to wear masks when going out side where social distancing was not possible. That was totally ignored. We now have to quarantinee for fourteen days because the cruise line does not take their passengers safety seriously. I recommend waiting till we get a vaccine before taking a cruise on that boat.

Went on the Huckleberry Island tour and really enjoyed it. The walk was about 30 minutes but that was only because we stopped frequently to listen to interesting facts/history about the island (likely about a 10 min walk if you didn't stop, a few steep short hills but otherwise a very easy walk, but NOT mobility-device friendly). Our tour guide, forget her name, was really engaging. It was clear she was excited about the topic and keen to share her knowledge with us. Would recommend this excursion to others.

I first took this Cruise when I was a child of perhaps six or seven years old and I am taking the cruise many times throughout my life as I am now in my 50s. It's the largest freshwater boat cruise that text you through some of the most scenic and historic sites throughout the thirty thousand islands of the Georgian Bay! I would definitely recommend people go on this cruise at least once in their life.

We were on the Island Queen Cruise in Parry Sound on August 3, 2020. I needed to come here on this page and say thanks to everyone on this team. There was a young gentleman constantly sanitizing all frequently touched surfaces. Another gentleman was always walking around sharing facts and information with a smile and the friendliest attitude ever. He also made sure everyone is safe. The two ladies at the snack bar were super friendly and the more mature lady never stopped smiling. We also loved that we could bring aboard our own food and drinks even though there’s a bar and a snack shop. Thank you! ????????❤️

I went for the three hour cruise this afternoon and it was great! The boat is lovely and the tour was beautiful, well guided, price is very reasonable and the people who work on the Island Queen are friendly and efficient. Don't forget to layer up for when you go outside!

This is excellent and recommended. A great way to see the bounty of nature. They got two trips 2 hours and 3 hours. I would recommend 2 hours for groups with kids. Only recommendation I have for the ship operator is to add more narrative to the route map. Am sure there is a lot more and rich history of these islands that the visitors would love to know.

Such a pleasant tour throughout the islands of Georgian Bay out of Parry Sound. I loved all the on board amenities including the patio on the 1st deck with all the sun umbrellas over bistro tables and cafe/restaurant, the bar on the 2nd deck, and the open air viewing deck on the 3rd level.

Best 3 hours spent on holidays so far! So many islands and wavy waters. History was told along the way. Saw osprey too and perhaps cormorants. Had hot dogs, great coffee and beer onboard because excitement builds hunger. Lol was also pizza and other snack foods. Lots of photos! Thanks!

We spend the day in Parry Sound and checked out the sights and the shops downtown. We ran into a couple who recommended this cruise so we drove down Bay street to check it out. It was a fun and relaxing trip. Staff was very friendly. Its very popular especially on a nice day. Definitely nice way to see the Parry Sound.

Second time on this cruise with the wife, except this time our daughter came along. With many islands to be seen, some with a cabin or a couple cottages on them...talk about isolation. Again the weather was perfect for such a cruise in this locations weather environment. I even met a new friend called spidie on this trip. The pre-recorded tour guide over the speakers explaining history of the area is a wonderful idea. The ice cream bought in the souvenir building is delicious...a must try.

This is a great idea if you want a relaxing cruise around the beautiful 30,000 islands! The views are so pretty and the water so clean! The staff is courteous and the tours leave exactly on time and come back exactly on time. There are refreshments available for purchase on the boat but you can also bring your own picnic! It's a great day for the family and well worth the ticket price! Pro-tip: get some ice cream while you wait to get on the ship. The locally made ice cream is excellent and the serving sizes are enormous!

Parry sound is s paradise for colour watching. About 3 hours away from Toronto. The tickets for this cruise are reasonable so decided to take this cruise. Was just in luck to get them on the very last day if the season.Happy that will be cruising the Georgian bay for 3 hours on Thanksgiving afternoon.But. As you can see from pics, the 30000 islands were cruised from an outer route. All we saw was expanses of water and Evergreen trees. It appeared like a Summer cruise instead of Fall colours cruise. What a waste. So disappointed. Read carefully as you book.

The staff could be more attentive to those sitting on rails, standing on seats and generally being very unsafe. Found it made us very nervous as other patrons had to speak up as staff was no where to be found . Otherwise the cruise was nice.

This was overbooked for compliance with COVID19 policies. There was no mask wearing for 45 minutes (indoors) until the captain finally made an announcement. There were not enough seats for rain conditions. Ultimately, we got off the boat before sailing due to the unsafe conditions. We would not recommend it until safety precautions and sufficient seating are in place.

Stopped in for some ice cream. Good selection of flavors and very generous servings! Staff members both did their job, but didn't particularly seem to be enjoying themselves. Also nice to be able to go out and sit in the grass with the kids or walk out on the town dock to eat it. Will definitely stop by for ice cream again, primarily for the serving size.

The 3 hour 30,000 island cruise was amazing. Rain or shine the Island Queen Cruise ventures into the Georgian Bay Biosphere. The 3 hour cruise is in the afternoon. You travel around the outer islands. Some of the sights you get to see are the Hole in the Wall, Killbear Provincial Park, Rose Point Swing Bridge and the 5 Mile Narrows Osprey Nest that gets used every year. There are 3 levels. With Indoor and Outdoor seating and great observation decks/windows. There is food and drinks as well that you can buy during the trip. My mother and I were on the top deck in the pouring rain, no one else around except the captain. On one of the islands we got to see a black mama bear and her cub. Very close. It was perfect. Would do again again. Next time i will do the morning cruise.

loved it! they are following covid safety protocols. Have closed every other seat on the boat and give you sanitizer when entering and leaving. online booking system was effortless and they had our tickets already printed organized by last name. loved the system the information while on the cruise was lovely and pointed to key lookouts. snacks on board were affordable and good variety due to covid they operate at half capacity and it was quite lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour afternoon cruise.

Island Queen Cruise was recommended by family as a beautiful lake tour of the 30,000 island. They were spot on. We booked the 2 hour morning cruise and it was perfect. Youre taken on a beautiful tour of the waterways around Parry Sound. Picturesque scenery at every turn, and information from the guides that did not distract from the tranquility of the cruise. Would highly recommend.

The Island Queen is as always an amazing journey through the waterways of the Parry Sound area. 30,000 Islands are so beautiful to behold. Reasonably priced and runs rain or shine. There are indoor and outdoor seating. As for Covid, protocols all are in place but not adhered to strictly. The seats in the closed decks were ropped off which was good but the masks were not enforced. They did tell people to wear a mask when walking around but many didn't bother and they weren't told to. That was disappointing as it was a less than a safe atmosphere. However, we police ourselves and keep ourselves safe. Definately a pleasure to behold our little part of Canada ????????!

My wife and I went on the Islander X to Henry's for lunch. This is a great trip it feels more like a ride on a locals boat as opposed to the cruise atmosphere of the Island Queen. The crew were excellent at helping passengers on and off the craft and pointed out local landmarks. The lunch at Henry's was very nice. Generous portions of fish, good fries and beans with coleslaw. Great time was had by all.

What a very nice, scenic and relaxing cruise. I chose to go on the 3 hour cruise, which I enjoyed and it cost $42 for an adult ticket. The boat has 3 levels and provided good commentary on the history of the area and points of interest. I also liked the fact that you on bring your own snacks in a soft cooler. They also have food on board you can purchase like pizza, hot dogs, popsicles and drinks etc...

Island Queen Cruise is a beautiful tourist destination. There are 2 routes that only happen in morning and afternoon. In the morning, it's 2 hours route, it'll take you to north east around the island. In the afternoon, it's 3 hours route, it'll take you to south east, very long and relaxing. Inside, you can buy drinks and foods. Captain of the island Queen is very knowledge and share the great experience! People will naturally wave at you. So wave them back!

We did the trip to Wreck Island yesterday. What an awesome trip !! The boat ride thru the 30,000 island is outstanding and the crew are great to inform you of the headlights of the area as you pass. The best part of the trip was the hike over Wreck Island. Such beautiful rock formations and views, again with the guided information done excellently. Highly recommend this for an outstanding day trip !

Excellent one day excursion spot from Toronto. The waubuno beach is good for one day picnic along with the cruise. Found the cruise little long but definitely worth the ticket price.

Unfortunately we couldn't fit a cruise into our schedule because of the cruise times, but we did enjoy the ice cream here. Generous portions and a fantastic selection of delicious Kawartha ice cream.

This was a great 3 hour boat cruise through Georgian Bay. The boat was very good, the weather was great and the scenery/ view was amazing. We sat or stood on the top deck and took a lot of pictures. I would recommend this boat cruise to everybody.

Good cruise, lots of running commentary with some breaks. We took the two hour tour - they also have a three hour tour which has a little different route. They have some light refreshments you can buy on the cruise and some munchies. I didn't take pictures of the ship, but of some of the scenery - attqcheď.
