Love the open green space. A walk / run / bike around the park on the seawall is just perfect. You can forget you're that close to the city. There are washrooms if you need. Also quite a few vendors to grab a bite or an ice cream.

Mike Scott

Love this park. Bike ride around the sea Wall lots of places to eat or sit and watch the sun set.

Christian Metatron

Walk the sea wall in ran or shine. Always a captivating and picturesque experience. Word of advice for tourists, don't pet the raccoons. They will bite and carry a multitude of diseases. Aside from that, Stanley Park is a great place to be.

Akhil Munjal

Stanley Park is beautiful oasis of nature away from the urban chaos of Vancouver city. The seawall around the park is perfect for a walk or run especially on a sunny day all along enjoying the sights of mountains of North shore and Lions gate bridge.

Pierre Bedard

Date Visited - Nov 21st, 2020. This place along with many others was on my wish list. The day was a little chilly but it was an amazing park and the photos I attach below are not enough to express how beautiful it is.

akshay talegaonkar

Great place for a walk and see Vancouver skyline. I visited Vancouver in November and was lucky to have a nice sunny day with splendid colorful sunset. The park itself is huge and unfortunately could not see the western side of it. Very easy to commute from downtown by bus or a walk. If you are visiting Vancouver for the first time, I would highly recommend to add this one on the list!

Max Kislanski

Massive old growth forest with endless beauty. Bike, walk, or travel the SEAwall (around the perimeter) and be blown away by tbe beauty. Perfect place to take a date. So romantic. There is: totem poles, endless gardens, long, straight, gravel trails, open grass by the totem poles for picnics in the sun with about 3 km squared of space (massive space, lots of distance. There are 3 beautiful beaches, and the Lions gate bridge to see. You can see across the water to North Vançouver and the lights st night are stunning. I go here everyday, feel free to ask me questions. Add me on IG for more...@max.slacks

This park was so lovely, we came back twice to visit it!!! A little tip for you, rent a bike and do it by bike (it’s a beautiful 2 hours ride along the sea). We stopped by third and second beach for some sun. We also swam in the heated pool (buy your tickets in advance) and we even saw seals!!! Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Vancouver!

Firoz Ozman

Lovely place to hangout. Lots of activities to enjoy.

Mario (Ranjit)

It a beautiful park, very well laid out and all amenities are easily accessible. At this time most of the in park entertainment is closed either because of the season or due to covid-19. We'll be back for more.

Lily Beigi

It's a day walk if you want to see the whole park so make sure you have water and pack a lunch. There are so many small attractions along the way to visit. Most of the walk is by the side of the water so the view is amazing. You see a lot of people doing scavenger hunt. I'm not that much into it but if you are you can find a lot of hidden treasures here ???? It is definitely my favorite park in vancouver. I go there every time I visit vancouver. Definitely recommend it.

Mrs. Kim

This place is absolutely beautiful. It was a bit crowded on a long weekend by Sewall but in forest area there was really no one. The hiking trails are endless and the parking is not bad but it is all pay by park. Keep a map or cell phone (for a map) handy as it's very easy to get lost on the trails and end up a long way from your car. If you do need refreshments there is a super cute snack shack at one end of the seawall. Pro Tip: Stay as far away from the mobile toilets as possible. They are absolutely disgusting, deunk beach bums are using these all day long and....well just don't use them.

Hitesh lalwani

Went to visit Stanley park, its a huge park with scenic views but to find a parking is a hard part. Also be prepared to walk to have beautiful views.

Kristen Mosdell

First time there and loved it. Separate paths for walking, cycling with numerous routes and informative signs about the wildlife and ecology. Plenty of seating options and clean. We saw a family of racoons and ducks. Was very calming next to the stress of getting over the bridge in a car and the stress of Robson Street as a pedestrian!!

Tatchai Titichetrakun

Great park close to downtown. Sometimes see tents of homeless people.

Leonardo Iezzi

The excellent path all around the sea wall. It might get a bit busy in the junction areas. If you cycle, Make sure to follow the road counterclockwise as the cycle path; it's one way. I'd not recommend it for avid cyclist who wants to train laps as it gets a bit busy and family-friendly.

Elkan Wan

Beautiful park but don't visit it when it's raining like me; ruins the while experience. The totem pole area looks fantastic. Try going to the park at 9am apparently a cannon goes off in the park at the hour

Claire Francis

I used the dog side of the park. It was very nice, and clean. There was a ton of dog here and everyone seemed patient.

Jonathon Whitesell

Mathieu Rouleau

Really nice park which is accessible from downtown Vancouver.

Ah Rin Park

Cool place to go for a walk. Lots of things to do. I wished I rented a bike or scooter to make it easier to go around. Very organized. Have lanes for bikes, scooters and cars to make sure people dont get into accidents. Make sure to check out the totempoles. The seawall was cool too. Got the chance to see the aquarium too.

N.W.

Let me start by saying this is the biggest park i have been to! It was so much fun exploring this park. Although we couldn’t do much walking because we were with my pops, but there are soooo many trails to walk through. So many historic sights, so many places to go see in just one park. Totally loved it! It had easy access to Lions Gate Bridge, and of course we went on it....wow! If you are looking for a place to: bike, walk, roller blade, skateboard, explore, have a picnic, sight seeing, family time, hiking, yup, this would be the place to go!!

Kyle Friesen

I'm a tree fan, so it's a great place to get away from the noise and bustle. It's too bad a major traffic route goes through the middle, but once you're deeper into the trees the noise fades. We loved the 'boing frogs' - they sounded like plucked springs - at the beaver pond.

Irish Outdoorsman

Such a lovely park, so close to west end and downtown, it would be a great spot to go for a stroll and forget the stress of the busy city. Nice beaches and parks for kids also.

possible dreams

A beautiful fall day spent walking the Stanley park seawall and some of the park by the lagoon . A gorgeous area that all visited to Vancouver should explore . The views over the water are amazing as you enjoy the fresh sea air , listen to the seabirds, and smell the cedar forest all around .

Sarah

An absolutely gorgeous place. The paths are beautifully maintained, the seawall path on particular is wonderful to walk, with constant views of the mountains, sea and trees. Once you make your way down one of the internal trails it feels like a whole different world. The scale of the trees, and the abundance of wildlife leave you feeling like you couldn't possibly be a short way from a large city. The informative plaques at sites of interest or importance provide nice bits of culture and history. There are ample facilities around the major paths; cafés, food trucks and restaurants if you feel the need for a rest and a treat or smack along the way. Highlights of the visits included a pair of bald eagles, a family of raccoons, views below and above the lions gate bridge, the sun setting over the bay and sitting on logs on the beach watching the ships out at sea.

Booyaka Stubbs (ExplorewithStubbs.com)

Haven't been here since I was in my teens and it was so nice to enjoy the park and see the sights. Typically the park needs a whole day visit if you have a car or bike. If you walk the park it could take up to 3 days to it all. Remember to stay on paths and be in groups if possible as there are still coyotes roaming the park area. We didn't see any at all while we were in the park for hours exploring. Everyone doing their best to social distance from each other and have a good time, everyone from cyclists and dog walkers to kids being pushed in strollers. Enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air, beautiful flowers and views of the city. Highly recommended whether it's your first time or coming back after years like myself. Be safe and have fun

Murray Slack

Amazing for sledding

Kais Iriani

It is a cool place to visit. Parking is free, if you don't find in the official parking lot, you could park in adjacent streets. There you could see the water falling into the Ottawa River. There is a resto/coffee shop, but always busy.

vipul choudhary

Stanley park is heart of Vancouver it’s a huge urban park with all sides covered with sea and having multiple tourists attractions like Vancouver aquarium, beaches around it, beautiful views like you can see lions gate bridge, Canada palace, Vancouver convention centre, down town, English bay, prospect point, Canada rail, golf course, it’s a natural habitat of various species. Most exiting thing is it’s a 600 acre huge park with rain forest in between you can walk, cycle, run or use your skate boards to complete the round of Stanley park. Stanley park is one of the worlds famous urban park and it’s amazing I really loved it.

Krishna Char

Really amazing! Didn't expect too much due to the rainy weather and believing it to be a normal park. But was pleasantly surprised! Don't just walk on the coast but try and walk inside some of the park trails. A very good example of temperate rainforests. I explored the park by foot and think that's the best way to do it (needs atleast 3-4 hours that way). Would also recommend using a bicycle.

Silvan Stucki

Very nice park. We rented a bike to explore this wonderful big park. Take care of the directions of the bicycle drives (theyre one way at most of the time). Visit the prospect point and the aquarium. Plan enough time. You can easily enyoi yourself the whole day.

Kourosh Masoudnia

It was our first time in "Stanley Park, Vancouver" and we really liked that. We spent the afternoon with our friends enjoying the many shaded walking trails, lots of space. It is a pet-friendly park and a great place to spend a sunny day. If you are a fan of cycling, it is ideal, very easy to rent a bicycle and enjoy your ride across the beach.

John Michael Schert

The perfect place to spend a long day. Visit Second Beach. Walk or bike along the seawall. Explore the interior forests of the peninsula. A testament to Vancouver that this prized park has remained protected and pristine for generations of citizens and visitors to enjoy.

Joan Frail

Visited the Aquarium in the park. An outing for our Seniors group. Had lunch at the Boathouse Restaurant, was good. Nice visit to the Aquarium as well. Everything was set up for the covid restrictions and folks were following them. Some families were visiting and enjoying the displays.

MikesView

Traveled here on foot, then on bike. Sat and watched the sun go down on the 3rd beach. Very clean and friendly area, lots of traffic, iconic and great spot to visit..a staple to Vancouver and a great scenic getaway from the skyscraper city. Walking out to its point you can see the giant mass of water with container ships and others boating in and out of the harbour.

Rohan Ellis

My favourite part of Vancouver! There is something delightful about getting lost in the woods, when you know the city is less that 1km away. Stanley park is beautiful in every way, shape and form. We rented bikes and spent a good 4 hours cycling around, stopping to appreciate what was before us + we had an awesome picnic, which is always fun. The totems were beautiful too. Simply perfect!

david rossellat

Possibly one of the most beautiful park I've visited.

Rob McDonald

Rebekkah Niles

Beautiful, with a great trail around the edge of the park, and nice trails throughout. Beaver Lake in July is a real treasure, covered in water lilies, and the rose gardens are in full bloom. The Lost Lagoon is a romantic walk. Avision is a trail for those who want to challenge themselves, while Prospect Point at the top has a great view. 3-4 hours was enough to bike all the bike-friendly trails; after that we returned to walk the rest of it as there's quite a few trails foot-access only.

Henry Chen

Best urban park in Canada???!!! So lucky to live near this magnificent park! Tons of things to do and see! We are blessed to have this beautiful park at our backyard in Vancity!

P G

This place is the crown jewel of Vancouver city and what makes Vancouver so unique and distinct as a modern city that blends so well with nature. Definitely a must do activity is biking across the park around sunset time.

Davey TEO

This park has to be one of the best ones in the world. The bike lanes are well maintained and it is super scenic to bike around the entire park. It takes about 2 hours or so from one end all around and back to the city. This has been one of the best experiences in Vancouver and is highly recommended to all that go to Vancouver. You just need to find a bike shop and rent out either for a day or a few hours. The park also has an aquarium and many trails with different species of animals and insects.

Skye Aho

I love this place for all of its activities and more predominantly it's beauty. There is so much to see you will have to visit more than once. Ot can get pretty busy but that doesn't take away from the enjoyment. My only wish is that they would include more indigenous history... this was once such sacred land and the history of the making of "Stanley Park" is deeply saddening..

Mia Kim

Love this beautiful place. It was a great time to look around on a bike and it took about 2 hours (we ride very slow)

James Lewis

Stanley Park is a must see if you are in the Vancouver area. There are many trails through out the park. Many trails are accessible to people with reduced mobility, they are suitable for walkers, scooters, and wheelchairs. The Sea Wall, that runs along the outer perimeter, is excellent for walking, wheelchairs, and biking. The path has excellent views of Coal Harbour, Lions3Gate Bridge, the Salish Sea, and English bay. Lost Lagoon is a great place to bring children to see ducks, geese, swans, racoons, and even skunks. Visitors should be aware that even though the Park is in a metropolitan city, there are lots of wild animals. The wildlife should be treated with respect. Don't touch or feed the animals.

Shayne Ennis

Mothers day turned into family walk day and weather was more than permitting. Always a good day to smell the ocean and feel the breeze.

Mário Nicoletti

Really a amazing park with great infrastructure. It's nice to spend a whole morning, or afternoon to enjoy the place. Bring water, food and sunblock. There are restaurants in only a few places and in case you want to lay down on the grass, it's nice to bring a towel as well.

Rajesh Periyasamy

A great place to spend the entire day with stunning views and nice little hikes. There are so many things to do in this place and can keep people with different interests happy. I must mention the navigator (a kind, friendly old man) we met at the entrance. He is doing an amazing job of helping people find what they want without expecting anything back. I'm not sure if he is paid by the park pet he's doing it for himself.

Dimi K

Love Stanley Park , there are soo many things that you can do there ,from horse drawn carriage rides,to an aquarium and a whole lot of walking , keep in mind that if you drive there you have to pay for parking. City skyline is spectacular after sunset. Best to visit on a clear day though.

Steph VF

We rent bikes and did all the turn. Really enjoyed, severals view point, very nice!

mona aldarabie

Nice place to walk and to have small hikes. Love it.

Nicole

There's a ton in adjacent construction but the park is new and great. Nice splash pad in summer. Next to an off leash dog park which is handy for us. A nice community centre with washrooms too.

justin

Huge park, peaceful and calming a perfect place for a hike or just a walk around.

hillary barrett

Beautiful park on the harbour front with a great trail system for cycling/running/rollerblading.

Arvind Meena

Great place to walk, jog, cycling, picnic and hanging out with friends. One of my most favourite park that I have visited till date. Provide you with a great view of ocean, bridge. Have best Aquarium in Vancouver????

Clifton Cheng

Amazing and beautiful place to walk or bike through. The views are stunning, and it’s located right by Downtown Vancouver, so it’s extremely accessible too!

JJ Johnson

I love Stanley park, especially Lost lagoon. There are tons of trails through out the park to explore, in foot or bike ect. Lots of animals and wildlife so be smart and careful. Do not feel the wildlife and be aware of coyotes which are especially bad from people feeding them. They will bite you! Check out the famous seawall, the Toetem poles, the lighthouse, the Aquarium, or get lost in the inner trails. Always a solid experince.

Peter Yong (PedroJoven)

Very nice park to stroll or ride bikes. I would highly suggest biking if first time. Will take about 4 hours to bike around or more if biking inside as well. There are a lot of wild grapes black berries and raspberries growing and you will spot them all over. We stopped every now and then while biking to taste them (Aug). Get up to Prospect Point for some good views and the ice cream there is good as well, not very expensive.

Steve Andrews

What is there not to love about Stanley Park. Grew up in Vancouver and we are so lucky to have it. Too many good memories to count.

Patrick Faucher

Not a lot of shady areas or benches.

Paulo Gustavo

Vancouver is a Gorgeous city with lots to see and do! Make sure Stanley Park is one of your stops! Enjoy it to the MAX!

Dustin Kvammen

Always nice to be in this park , rain or shine ,

Ramses Morales

Gorgeous and massive park, with lots of options to choose from and things to do like: hiking, riding your bike along the seawall or walking. They have an aquarium as well, a lighthouse points, beaches, Totem poles, and more. It also has restaurants, souvenir shop, public washrooms and even different Shawn bike rental stations along the parking. Paid Parking is also available on-site.

Ebru Kamış

Beautiful scenes and very fresh air. A must-see for all travellers. We bought a daily pass for the city bicycles. There are lots of stations around here.

Vanshika Mahajan

Stanley Park is a huge park and a very beautiful place. In order to visit this picturesque place one must take out one full day according me and enjoy the nature. But due to COVID some of the perks cannot be enjoyed such as aquarium.

Zameer Mohammed

One of the best places to spend in Vancouver. Full can be enjoyed specially i summer. Cycling can also be done . Can enjoy beautiful view of skyline of Vancouver.

David Maddison

Whilst hiking through the park, I had the most remarkable experience when I encountered a small flock of birds. I held out my hand and they perched themselves on my hand. This is only one of the magical aspects of this amazing park. Completely in love with the forest and the clear water that gently laps the coast

Alfonso Chen

If you're new to Vancouver, please take the time to check out the beautiful Stanley Park. There are so many great paths to take and places to get food (restaurants, food carts, and more) and to visit throughout the park, you can enjoy a full day or more here.

Selva Sureshan

Beautiful park. The road through the park is now one way, so prepared to all the way once you enter

Max HUNTER

Ladies and gentlemen: Well come to one of the most world famous and most recognized park in Vancouver, Stanley Park, holding serval world records. She is beautiful, nice, peace, diverse, and any words approbatory word to her. Visitors can do so much things at here, biking, running, swimming, birds watching and etc. Beautiful views are everywhere! I really do not need speak/write too much about her! I never had enough to visit here. Every visit has a different experience. This is Stanley Park, a MUST GO place in Vancouver. It’s luckily to have Stanley Park in Vancouver for civilians.

Abaddon Kenedy

Mehrdad Mortezaee

Lovely to get in Stanley Park and hard to get out! ;)

Thomas Thrasher

My favorite park that I have currently traveled to. Definitely have fun memories there. Very spacious and so many different things to cherish and do. The sights are breathtaking and to die for.

Christopher Jones

Had a great walk around the Stanley Park seawall! Lots of gorgeous views of the mountains in north van and definitely a great place to go for a long walk

Npm Mpn

Where have all the peacocks gone? Mini train was fun for kids and affordable, aquarium was great with a 4D short film. locals will want to drive fast so watch out for them.

Marc Pilmann

A must visit when in Vancouver, Stanley park offers beautiful views of the city of Vancouver and its surroundings. Most of all, I recommend renting a bike to ride along the shores of this small peninsula. There are several bike sharing stations along the way so it's not necessary to rent one ahead unless you want something more sporty and lightweight. In the park itself, there are many great options to spend your time, including an aquarium, tennis courts as well as a small golf course.

Terry Korte

Rent bikes and ride around the sea wall. About 12 km, flat, easy ride. For more of a challenge there are a lot of trails through the park. English Bay bike rentals had great bikes, rates, and service.

Paul Cikatricis

Stanley Park is beautiful, although it gets really busy at times. It is a place where beaches meet with dense rain forest. To locals, it’s a treasured part of Vancouver’s natural beauty, and I wish people treated it like that. If you consider visiting, please behave accordingly.

Savannah Benford

The kids enjoyed the hills, very little to no shade

Kerri G

Always an amazing stop on our bike trips. Can get very busy along the seawall on a nice day, so be prepared to take your time... and enjoy the natural beauty around you ????????❤

Yodaman Solo

This entire area is fabulous I find. From the Edinburgh area to the Sussex street attractions etc. Stanley Park is this beautiful area with scenic views. At the moment though as of October 8 2020 they were in the midst of some renovations. I’m sure once they’ve finished it will be very nice indeed. ????☺️

Mark Lewis

Love walking around (the seawall) and through the park on its various easy trails. Such a beautiful rain forest, any time of the year. My favourite route is to walk from English Bay along to seawall to Third Beach, then take the stairs up, and then immediate left of the small building. Then the first little path to the right which is the Tatlow trail. And take it straight to the Lost Lagoon. Then wonder either left or right.

Nintendo FunKIds

Amazing place to do activities such as: biking, walking, picnic and more.. If your planning to see the places around you gotta give your whole day on it to enjoy everything.. Especially you want to see Aquarium, ride in a coach and more..

brian smith

I find this is one of Vancouver’s most recognizable landmarks and very enjoyable for the whole family. I really enjoy walking around the seawall as it is a great healthy activity and there is so many sites to see. it is a great place to take the kids as there is a lot to look at and a great way to get exercise.there is many great attractions including the Vancouver aquarium and the seawall..

Nathaniel Ulian

Amazing walk way down by the ocean, pretty cool to see the buzz on the water of the freighters and the abundance of both wild life and human life combined.

Ojan Khosravifar

Great cycling/rollerblading path along the seawall (keep in mind it is one way). The interior of the park hosts some of the largest trees in the area.

Andrea Diaz

One of the unique off-leash and by the water parks in the city. People are generally friendly and dog owners are responsible. My golden retriever adores this park :-) ... he gets extremely excited just when we get there!

David Chartrand

Great little park with a toddler-youngster play area and splash-pad. Tennis courts(2), soccer/bball field and greenspace. Links into the Rideau River bike path. Unfortunately, there is a nearby construction project that is encroaching on peacefulness and may/has limit(ed) some of park features (dog walk area&scenic bike path) but ...should start getting back to normal by summer'21.

Marta Borowska

Awesome park for walking along the beach, taking in some views, and doing some athletic activities. There is a lot of variety here, lots of parking, spots available to rent bikes and scooters, lots of walking paths, some swimming pools, lots of greenery, some wildlife, endless things! Some large slugs on some of the trails early September so be careful where you step.

Konstantin

☀️????gorgeous view, great place for walking, beautiful nature????????????

Dean

Lovely place with some great trails and awesome beaches. Can be crowded but still a beautiful place to be.

Dr Arun Jamkar

Beautiful place Ride very good and leads to all nice places in park Sky train is available up to water park station and then two lanes across , on Pender street take 19 no bus to Stanley park and then whole park as at your exploration.

Catherine Seguin

An enjoyable location full of activities, hikes and scenic views. Enjoy a long walk along the sea wall, lounge at the beach and enjoy the ocean breeze or go along a trail into the forest and discover local wildlife and foliage.

Luna MinJung Park

Early spring but already some cherry blossoms ☺️ the best part of stanley park is the smell of the forest

Salman Safdar

Amazing experience. You are in the the middle of downtown, but feel as if you are in a rain forest. Lots of paint parking. Lots of walking trails. You can go round the bike trail and see some breathtaking scenery. Bike rentals available nearby. Clean public toilets. Good place for a picnic.

Mohit Kumar

Amazing place to walk around. In all weathers. Amazing view. Very beautiful place.

Khunathip Dittanate

Stanley Park is a must-see spot for those who enjoy the outdoors or nature in general. There are a variety of trails to walk through as well as bike paths which either cut through or go around the park. The dense forests provide a great little escape from the city, and there are several beaches, indigenous landmarks, and cozy stores/restaurants scattered throughout the park. The aquarium is also worthy of a visit. Overall a great place for to spend an afternoon, evening, or an entire day at.

cosette onisuu

Pleasant place to take a walk! I enjoyed watching the wildlife including colourful wood ducks and other small birds that I'm not sure the species of~ also many pathways to take that bring you through gardens, playgrounds, the seawall, tennis courts, and the lost lagoon! Just be mindful of your step as there can be goose droppings as some big groups of them can be waddling around :) keep to the right on paths to give space to joggers and cyclists if you are taking a relaxed pace for a walk ????

Krystal Koenig

Picture montage from Prospect Point all the way down from Third Beach to English Bay capturing the stages of the sunset hour by hour.

Dennis Simon

Large part near Vancouver city center, you can easily take hours to cover the various trails. Bike rental available. Historical house drawn carriage tout also available. Lots of parking. Limited stalls for refreshments.

D A Jain

Great place for spending time alone, with friends, or partner or with family! Huge park with sea view. Perfect path for jogging, walking or bike rides.

Raghvendra Singh

I walked almost the entire shoreline there is a sea wall, on which you can bicycle or run, there are separate track for cycles. I really liked the vibe of the place, it's kind of like a dense mini forest in the heart of the city. I really loved the place there are many restaurants along the seawall and few beaches too which are pretty nice. I didn't try restaurants but there ratings were good so you don't need to bring food if you are coming for the entire day. Also there are few vegetarian options to eat too at those. There are lots of secluded spots too because usually there are not too many people at all the places along the walking paths, so if you want some quiet time to soak the sea views you just need to look a little.

Haydn Blackey

We caught 19 bus the 2.1 miles (18 minutes on the bus) to Stanley Park for a lovely visit to this very delightful park on the edge of Vancouver's downtown. We arrived at just before 2:00 pm and visited the woodland area near the bus stop and saw a family of Racoons crossing the path on our return. We walked along the seaside past the mermaid statue and the lighthouse then on to the Totem Poles which stand out as a cultural Icon of the First Nations. We continued around the park with its seaside views and picturesque views of the boats and yachts in the bay. We left the park after three hours feeling invigorated and revived after the business of the city. Well worth a visit.

Daniel T

Not sure why it costs so much, plus parking..there are better aquariums. Even on Toronto is way better. Not bad though.

Mary Macri

Beautiful and really relaxing place

Mubashshira Jakda

Stanley Park was a beautiful place to visit while we were in B.C. We made it in time to catch the sunset with the mountains and enjoyed the prospect point view that we will never forget! Due to the weather, we didn't go down to the beach but there are many different lookouts that you can stop at if you ever decide to visit Stanley! I definitely recommend this park. :)

Aditya Mehta

What can I say about Stanley Park that hasn’t been said already? There are numerous trails, playgrounds, beaches, and other attractions such as a railroad, a lake, a vantage point and a brewery within the park. I recommend the seawall loop, which is about 10 kilometres. The view from prospect point is amazing. The second beach playground and swimming pool are fun. The only negative point would be the cost of parking. Otherwise this park is every bit as awesome as Vancouver itself.

Irene Artho

Very beautiful park. Very big too. Outdoor people could probably easily spend a full day there. Also Canada's largest aquarium is inside and lots of fun things to do & see. We went on the horse carriage ride which I recommend to explore the East side of the park.

Aom Hildebrand

Beautiful indeed! I wish I live closer then I will visit everyday. My husband used to live next to Stanly park like 20 years ago and he went for a bike ride every evening. But whenever we have a chance we'll be there. Perfect place for the whole family!

Saeede Hushmandi

It's comforting to walk in Stanley park. Different views are awaiting passers by. By the way, if one is into tennis, there are so many courts and in spite of rain, people manage to dry their court out (using kind of mop) and play.

Hesham Chybli (Hesh)

The trees are the first thing that stands out to you, my god. The nature in the area is unbelievable. Just the natural history of the plant life and the amazingly tall yet gorgeous trees surrounding the view, the further you drive along the path, the more glimpses of the surrounding area you get. This drive around the park was one of the calmest moments of my trip. Do go out of your way to experience what I and many others have in this great location :).

Ariel Quinn

This place is basically a little redwood forest sitting next to an ocean which is next to an incredible cityscape. My husband and I spent a full day here, walking around and exploring. It is a great place to go running or biking and it makes for a pretty romantic walk as well. There are restrooms around the park and there's also an ice cream shop. Must see.

Sovereign Norris

Such a nice place to go, especially if you’re visiting from out of town. Met some nice people and explored around the seawall. Also perfect for Instagram pictures.

Ikramullah Khan

Very good place for picnic, cycling, jogging and walk.

Ashish Malik

Vancouver's Central Park. Breathtaking views. Shows both natural and man-made beauty. Tried the cycle tour ($9.75 I think for unlimited 30 mins ride for 24 hrs). Did the complete coastline. See the city and the ocean. Like I said, breathtaking!

José Ignacio Ortúzar

It is really a beautiful park, with a lot of vegetation and a lot to explore, but if you visit it in winter, don't forget your jacket ;) hahaha

We rented the Mobi bikes and bikes around Stanley Park and watched the sunset. The most beautiful ride I’ve ever been on. When you pass the Lions gate bridge, don’t forget to grab a picture! Loved the separate bike paths and walking paths!

April Olivia

Fun to walk around with family at the weekend. Fresh air, beautiful trees, smell from the ocean and the road cleanse. We would like to come again. All good memories are here:) thanks

Barbara Pierce

I started out my walk along the Seawall on the northwest side and the went up ravine trail to Beaver Lake trail and from there to other trails before finally going to the Prospect Point lookout. A wonderful combination of groomed trails(some off the beaten path and some main trails) and civilization with cafe and gift shop This Park has something for everyone. A jewel of a park close to the city and easily reached via mass transit. From prospect point to Siwash Rock and then down trails back towards the Seawall and my starting point. Spent 5 hrs but you can adjust to spend as little or as much time as you want.

Mckenzie Kos.

I went to this park while walking a loved one's dog. This park is small, but I imagine there is a lot of open space during the summer. Currently, the park is very slick because of ice in most spaces. I noticed kids were able to play hockey and ice skating at this park. It's probably not safe to use the jungle gym during the winter.

Ava Everett

Took the kids to the swimming pool and chilled out at the park for an afternoon. Food was available, and had some great spots for the kids to run around and play. 10/10 would walk during the day, or as the sun set as the views are very pretty

Tula A.

Wow ! What a beautiful place ! Was there in August 2019 visiting Vancouver for a few days before going to Alaska Cruise. Loved the park, the water, the bike and walking trails, the bridge the scenery looking across the skyline of Vancouver. Very stunning !

Jian Liu

Stanley Park is definitely a great place to visit if you are in Vancouver. You probably need at least one day to experience all the fun things. Horse drawn carriage, cycling, and so on. I also would recommend renting a bike and ride around the bike trail in the evening before the sunset. So much to see.

Robert Leupen

Nature in the middle of the city. It cannot be beat by any park in the world. It has everything! Even a beach, a forest, trails, tennis courts, playgrounds, a P&P golf course, and of course the most amazing seawall.

Sian Colman-Black Belding

Just love the sea breeze, beaches and sound of the waves. Beautiful photos and sunsets

Gabriel Tu

Views where definitely nice from a tourists perspective. Is a bit hard to cycle as there are too many cyclists during busy hours. Walking path is mostly empty though.

1Kristy7

One of my favourite places to visit in Vancouver. I’ve made it my tradition to bike around the park every time I come to visit.

Isla Montgomery

Wonderful place to spend the day whether you are walking or cycling (there are bike hires just outside the entrance to the park or you can use the mobi bikes which are parked up inside the park). You could even just spend the day on the beaches enjoying the view & sun. The aquarium is inside the park and it is a great place to visit, you can also do water sports (you'll come across people with leaflets), there's an outdoor swimming pool and a few places to grab a bite to eat or drink.

Michael Wu

Quite convenient to rent a bike nearby! Doesn't take too long to finish one tour. But you got to explore more as you pick up any one of the courses cross the woods. Great place to walk, to ride, or to run. Great place to take a rest~.

Love heading to Stanley Park anytime I make the trek into Vancouver. One of the best places to visit in a great city.

Amba Singh

Must visit! So many things to do in and around. You can walk/bike/roller skate around Stanley and enjoy the ocean view. There are hiking trails and some good hidden view points. There are city bike renting options and plenty of parking space.

Stephanie Moodie

We love going to Stanley Park! It is clean, well kept and often many local activities about. You can find a free little library, tennis, outdoor workout spots, a basketball court, plenty of off leash space for your dog or beautiful scenic areas for a picnic or bike ride. If you continue on the path it will lead you to Tavern on the falls, where you can grab a drink by the waterfall and relax with one of the most beautiful views.

Jonatan Almanza V.

Nice place to workout, have a walk or a do some shopping at the souvenir shop. Excellent view and great family environment, you can see downtown from the viewing point in here. Good to have a quick stop!

Patrycja Kurtycz

My favorite park in Vancouver. My family and I love it. Beaches, bike and walk trails - it's a good place to visit! Beautiful views!

Eddy _

An ideal place to go of you're looking to go for a casual bike ride. Please note that the park has become very busy again as the Covid-19 restrictions have been loosened, add to that the beautiful weather.

Janell Uhler

I loved my bike ride around the park. I'm looking forward to investigating other sites within the island. It's an easy ride but with some moments of heavy foot/bike traffic.

Kimberly Tholl

The most stunning urban park in the world. Very well managed. It’s a place of tranquility and peace in a busy city.

Jarrod Haynes

It's incredible that such a gorgeous park like this at the tip of the Burrard Peninsula still exists! You can not only spend hours but days enjoying and exploring Stanley Park. It's worth hiring a bike and riding around the park - I found that to be the best way to see so much in such a short amount of time.

waqas khalid

Huge park that will take you more than a day to explore. You can visit the beach, take a train ride, just kick it in the park, look at gorgeous views of lions gate bridge. Lots to explore. The park is extremely well maintained and there is ample parking.

Rhonda Thompson

So glad we stopped!! It was so picturesque and the vibe was nice. Recommended visit.

cindy amimer

While everyone knows the beauty of Stanley Park at day, it’s extraordinarily fascinating at night, especially on a chilly rainy autumn night when nobody is around - you are able to take spectacular pictures of it with a clean background and without disturbance from passers by. Welcome to watch my video in YouTube entitled “Stanley Park at Night” under my name “Cindy Amimer”. Each year in Spring, Cherry Blossoms in Stanley Park is as famous as the name Stanley Park, attracting thousands of flower admirers to come from near and far. Despite the prevailing of Covid 19 in BC at the moment, crowds of people, wearing masks, gather under the cherry trees, taking photos of or with the lovely cherry flowers, making Stanley Park an even more popular place than ever. The pinky sunset glow in Stanley Park is amazingly beautiful!

Shubhajit Laskar

Quite a good place to spend your time with peers. One of the most popular parks in whole British Columbia!

Jun Jun

Great park for both walking and cycling activities. Many great sceneries too! I have been here for several times but can’t still discover all corners of this amazingly huge park! This is such an ideal place for not just exercising but also for enjoying such a landscape.

Kenny

Fantastic Park, I went last year during winter and it was wonderful, a tad chilly but it’s a fantastic place to walk around. Massive park, can easily amuse for hours! I would recommend everyone to go for a walk around it.

daniel bourgeois

The park is outrageously well maintain. The scenery is just breathtaking, go take a look and you'll never have enough. Thanks to the park board and their employees

Lynette Corcoran-Sugars

Large open spaces, just on the edge of the bustling West end of Vancouver. Walk the dog go for a ????‍♀️ run or just sit and watch the world go by! Read book, picnic in summer. It has something for every season.

Alexander Zuke

This park will grow with you thru all your phases As an active young man I've rollerbladed, walked, and jogged the seawall. In stressful life periods I have hiked deep into woods found logs intersecting with a break in the canopy allowing sun through and mediated for hours. Swam at the pools and beaches When I became interested in gardening I spent hours the Rose and Rhododendron gardens. I always leave refreshed, centered, and filled with gratitude. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Parminder Singh

Great views and cycling track

Ali Mehrizi

Beautiful urban park and a Vancouver must-see. Parking inside the park is reasonable but roads are one way so you may want to park outside (on the Vancouver side) which is also mostly free. Views from the park are priceless, maybe even try the sunset! Some of the park restaurants are closed but most (all?) will reopen in spring 2021. The park is so big it never gets repetitive and there are always new corners to discover!

Malika Zholy

Such well preserved and beautiful park, you have some areas near the beach or some fields where you can relax and others where you can just wander in the park and get lost in nature while being close to the city

Erasmus Cudjoe

Great place to visit. Very beautiful scenery across the lake. The park is also great to follow through the trails and lots of eating places around. A must visit place

celeste c

Most beautiful bike path along the seawall! Biked around the whole park to arrive to a supervised part of the beach with a bit overpriced onion rings :P All in all, I enjoyed myself here and was impressed with the amount of attractions contained into one park. Excited to go back ????

Ben Wong

Really good variety of attractions for this huge park right near the city. Had a long hike around the island.

Kim W

First visit ever, and was blown away how beautiful it was! And tons going on, enough to spend a whole day wondering around. Great public beach access, some with change rooms and bathrooms, and beautiful views! The walk along the water is gorgeous!

Raphaela vargas

My fav place in Vancouver. I enjoy running, biking or either walking in this sacred place with many history and beautiful views. I share my winter picture.

Inderjit V M

It's a magical place which is almost in the city.

Priyanka S

A must see area if you’re visiting Vancouver like we were. Amazing views of the city, mountains and lions gate bridge. The seawall is definitely the best part to walk, jog or run. Enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful and pleasant walk along the …

Tanvir Ahmad

Most recommended place in Vancouver. Cycling here is the best part. Highly recommended ????

Robert Wolf

Wow this is an amazing park in Vancouver. Definitely worth driving the full route around with places to stop for photos, washrooms and light eats. Allow 2 hours for cruising and stops. An excellent bicycle route around and through the park for strong riders since it is quite long.

Fluency Grey

Beautiful park, a vast walking ground with amenities for adults and children. There are places to grab a snack, or a horse drawn carriage. Vancouver's aquarium is situated here and is well worth a visit. The complex also helps to rescue, rehabilitate and release animals back in to the wild which inspires some comfort as to the well being of the animals. It should probably be noted that the entire park is smoke free, and we were informed that smoke of any sort caught by bylaw inflicts a heavy fine.

Leon M. Bilen

Real nice riverside park to walk or run. Children can ride their bikes. East walkway id better than west counterpart.

P Nguyen

First year on the train ride. The entire park was lit up and it was a spectacular experience for the family. There is no nativity scene however there was everything else you could ever think of. Very safe and they were strict on scanning vaccine passports and requiring real government ID and not a copied or picture version of the ID. They do it right here.

Max Gorouvein

Stanley Park is incredible. Lots of picture perfect views, mountain scapes, ocean. Take a stroll through the garden of roses - they smell incredible!!

Abdrabeh Aldahbol

It good when you have a time just go to get frishair , anjoy

Crumbling Cookie

Kids first time to aquarium. They loved it! They have done a good job ????. Good place to burn a ton of time. We were here for 2 hours and only viewed a quarter of the exhibits fully.

Ruiyao Huang

Beautiful park for a nice bike ride or a relaxing walk.

Hanyma

Rode along the seawall bike path. While I enjoyed it immensely, it was a bit crowded, enough so that collisions sometimes occurred. Part of path may seem similar to a road, causing a vehicle to drive directly onto it. Great views, wonderful beach area.

Micah Mckerlich

Stanley park is truly phenomenal!! If you are in Vancouver, you HAVE to check this place out!! You can do a loop around the whole park, or just walk part of it!! Throughout the seasons, the leaves, and tress change colours, and it’s especially beautiful in spring time when all of the cherry blossoms are blooming! The views are also quite phenomenal! You can see views of Vancouver in a different and unique way. As you walk along the sea wall, be sure to check out all the cool artifacts, and buildings! Long story short, if you are in Vancouver go to Stanley park. You WILL NOT regret it!

David OS

Well, it's the Stanley Park. Lovely and spacious place. It looks okay to visit during pandemic as social distancing more than 2m apart is very easy.

Andru Valpy

By far the best place to go in Vancouver! This sprawling park has a bit of everything! Most love the Vancouver Sea Wall, which runs along the entire length of the park and offers stunning views of the ocean and mountains. It's easy to get lost in the beauty of it! There are plenty of gardens located within the grounds, including the lost lagoon and Beaver Lake. The miniature railway is a fun attraction with children, as well as the Vancouver Aquarium. Within the grounds are a variety of statues and monuments, including the Japanese Canadian War Memorial, to honour those who served in WWI. There are a variety of dining options within the park depending on your cravings. There are splash pads located on the north side of the park, perfect for hot summer days. Third Beach is also popular for swimming as is Second Beach (complete with the Second Beach Swimming Pool). Finally, Prospect Point is a great vantage point to take in, especially during sun-rise and sun set! You can get a great view of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge.

My Traveling Muse

The best park I have been to! So much to do, so much to see. You will need more than a day to take advantage of this park. I would definitely recommend it as a must do of Vancouver! Check out my other pics on Instagram @mytravelingmuse.

Kraig Gallivan

A decent park that allows an escape from the grunge of the city. Unfortunately surrounded by unsightly elements, such as shipping boats, seaplanes, helicopters, traffic, cyclists, and a consistant stream of tourists and local weirdos. The forest trails are nice and easily accessible.

Damian Wilde

This is such an amazing park! The views and hikes are absolutely amazing. Note to tourists: a lot of locals frequent here. Beware that they don’t care if you’re sightseeing, they are impatient drivers and will get as close to you as possible if you’re going slower than them. Just pull over and wave em around. There is paid parking, and the meter maids are serious about their jobs. Although once you pay, you can park anywhere in the park as long as you have time left.

aleksandra

Lovely, beautiful and peaceful place. Trails in this park are very well marked, there is lots of parking and beautiful nature to take in all around you. You can find some ancient growth forest on some of the trails and it is breathtaking

Emily Mayo

Great park with an outdoor gym, two tennis courts, a full size soccer field, and small baseball diamond, and a small basketball court that could use an upgrade. It seems to be simultaneously an off leash dog park so for people who are afraid of dogs chasing them, it isn’t always the best place to do sprints. Lovely view along the last stretch of the Rideau River. Smells like sulfur often due to some plant being stationed right behind the soccer field unfortunately.

grace adeoye

Peaceful. Tranquility. This park has everything and more that you need

Z.Ä.S

Not just an aquarium but a great experience imo. You'll have a great day! (just avoid the cafe)

Anna Andres

The sea wall is the best to walk, jog or run, shine or rain ! If you love photography, you should absolutely check it out !

Adie Chan

I hired a bike to cycle round Stanley Park on a lovely sunny day. It was an easy flat ride, except I kept having to stop to take pictures because the vista was so beautiful! I loved this park. Where else do you have lakes, sea, beaches, wildlife and great views? A must-see. Highly recommended.

Tarun S

Peaceful place for walk. While walking capture the best views of downtown vancouver. And also good place for cycling. Mostly on sunny days place is quite crowded. Best for evening walks. ❤️❤️

LEONARDO BLENGINI

Nice natural place. I loved!!!!

Chris May

Very lush and beautiful nature setting. You can spend an enjoyable day in the park. So must amazing flora and fauna in one place. aeeen many Great Blue Herons, ducks and Canada Geese. The Ted and Mary Greig Rhododendron Garden is stunning. Got asneqk peek of the golf course from the garden.

Carolina Tolentino

Beautiful place! It's a huge park, did lots of walking. You can rent bicycles and ride along the seawall. Since we were there in early Spring, flowers were only beginning to bloom.

Jason Villain

Went to the aquarium and to be honest the cost of admission was very expensive and not great value. On a positive note, the grounds of Stanley Park and the views which were free besides the price of parking were amazing and softened the impact of the aquarium costs. I'd rate the park without the aquarium a 5 out of 5 and the aquarium with the park a 3 out of 5.

Vivian Chow

The best place to spend a day out with family on a sunny day!

Maria Hany

this is definitely my favourite plce in vancouver. the park is so big where you can trail, stroll around or ride a bike. they have aquarium, totem pole and even a special christmas decoration which i had the opportunity to see. photos were of that special event

Eugénie Brais-Brunet

Beautiful place. I highly recommend using electric scooters or bikes!

Shashi Jagdale

Awesome tourisum place to visit specially in summers. Play area for kids, families get together, potluck, family picnics spots, and even more. More attractions places like Aquarium, Bike or Walk the Seawall, Scenic Drive, Prospect Point, Beaver lake, etc. Only few food courts are available with limited choice but worth it.

Sandra Lecki

Beautiful park with lovely beach and pool. Definitely rent a bike or an e-bike if you're not too much of a biker and go around the park, 100% worth it!

Lynette Meek

I took my grandson, he is almost 4 and it was wonderful for us all! I had taken my own children a few times over the years and the aquarium never fails to both awe and educate! Of course we will be back!

Spaces Design Group

The sea wall ride at Stanley Park, Vancouver is a scenic start to a city tour around Vancouver on the way to UBC. The bike lanes are well marked and it is hard to get lost! Just keep the water to one side and you will have a blast!

Ashley Davies

Rented the city bikes and room a tour of the seawall. Such a great ride!

Chris Rozell

Beautiful forest in the middle of Vancouver with walking and cycling paths that lead to all sorts of amenities including the Vancouver aquarium and the Vancouver sea wall.

Michelle Nye

We decided to bike around Stanley Park so we could see all the sights and ride along the seawall. We rented bikes and headed out counterclockwise around the park. At a certain point the seawall is only one way going counterclockwise so keep this in mind if you plan to ride. We took about 2.5 hours to do the ride and stopped at all the sights for photos. We rode down to the Inukshuk statue south of English Beach and then back to the rental place. It was a pretty easy ride there were a few hills near the pool and English beach.

Divine• Love•Jerilee

Beautiful sunny evening spent out walking along the Ocean on Stanley Park. Lots of Seashells on the beach, but perfect for walking bear foot in the sand. ☀️????????

Ahmed Elashry

Great park, with awesome views. Great hiking trails. Lots of open spaces. The lights festival during chirsmats time is awesome. Sometimes I just like driving inside the park. They great views of the famous lions gates bridge. Great place for nature photographers.

Alicja

The best city park I have ever seen! Pure forest with hidden lake & lagoon. The best way to visit is to go by bike. Beautiful Vancouver views. The sunset over the bay should be awesome. Totally reccommended for a full day trip with picnic included!

Mark Darwin

The fact that I was able to hike trails in urban Vancouver is simply amazing. Some of the trails are quite hilly and challenging as well. The views of Vancouver and the surrounding areas are phenomenal. It was a bit annoying to hike up to the top of the park and see people arriving by tour bus, but if that is the biggest ‘problem’, then no worries. There are a large variety of trails, methods of transit, and scenery. Who doesn’t love being able to get ice cream at the highest part of your hike? If you are in Vancouver for any length of time, stop here.

Najia Shoukat

Beautiful, serene place with a little bit for everyone. Beach, playgrounds, good for biking, walking and jogging. Lots of wildlife and fauna and flora. There are bikes you could rent. Ample paid parking all around and Tennis courts. The trees are beautiful.

Emily Alarcon

A huge surprise how big is this park. I rent a bike to tour in Stanley Park and wasn't disappointed. Water wall offers greats views all over vancouver. Benches everywhere allows you to enjoy a rest, or the view. A must do in Vancouver

Skywalker Jerry

Big and beautiful park with nice view of downtown Vancouver. Very well designed trails for both pedestrians and bikers alike. Stunning autum scenery when tree leaves turned golden and red.

ranen nongmaithem

One of the best park in Canada. Great views, bikers paradise. We rented bikes and cycled around the Seawall. It was a day well spent. A must visit place if you are in Vancouver.

Caleb

Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, Snowy, or even Windy. A perfect place to walk and to be refreshed. I always go here if I have free time to get recharged and relaxed as well. So nice to walk, run, and bike here. Safe to walk here, they always warn everyone if there’s happening in the park and they put warning signages as well.

jessa gwyn

I love Stanley park, it was one of the best places I visited in Vancouver. There is plenty to see, including all sorts of squirrels, birds, and other wildlife. When I visited I fed the chickadees using raw sunflower seeds, by hand, which was truly amazing. I was lucky enough to see a hummingbird also in the park - which was a reminder that it is a rainforest, as it can be easy to forget.

LUISA FERNANDA JAIME NIETO

Is beautiful. Amazing experience walk in there. You can feel the nature. Perfect for be alone or with family. The bus 19 is the only one that drive to the park, is really nice the drive. You can also fine near the bus stop a restaurant. Also a couple of nice places where eat your food, like a picnic. The most exciting part is bike in the park. You can rent a bike is really good.

Vidhya S

The perfect walk amidst nature. Trail walks and lakes and biking routes to match everyone’s interests. You can go for a walk or a jog or biking or just visit to enjoy the view.

Ryan Labrie

Cute place to travel in the west end of Vancouver. Great for families and friends to go for a swim, hike or bike ride. There are some intelligently placed amenities throughout the area so you will not be lacking. It's definitely a cut above almost every other public recreation spot I can think of in other capitol cities. Even though I've been having an off day I can say that my trip here was restorative.

Alex W

Beautiful park. Nice bike trail along the sea wall.

小兔,世界跳跳中 Rabbit's Journal

This park is sooo amazing! I enjoyed the beach and sun so much there. And I also rent the bicycle to ride around Stanley Park for 6 hours. I had so much fun here.

David Grayson

You need more than an entire day to see the true beauty of this park, but I cant stress enough how amazing of a walk it is. Recommend coming in the morning and bringing some picnic sandwiches for the beach!

yinyangcolby

Beautiful park, this place is huge! I got some great photos here too. Also peep the photo of the owl, yes things are wild here!

ryan chan

Amazing place for walks or rent a bike with your partner.

Jeff Gore

Nice loop around the park. Great views of Vancouver. Also saw the long line be of container ships anchored in the bay, waiting to deliver their loads.

David Debilov

Best off-leash dog park in the city.

Haseeb Shahid

Beautiful! The seawall is a real treat for people to walk or bicycle on. There are a few shops close by to rent bicycle from and then many restaurants nearby to grab a bite after a good workout. You will come out so relaxed and refreshed.

Tricky Moreira

Stanley Park is bigger than Central Park for comparison. There are many trails for walking, biking, chilling out, and it’s surrounded by lush greenery and ocean vibes. Lots of nature and the air is crisp.

Floyd Jones

Lots to explore, lots of different parking areas around the loop.

Robin Wilson

What a great park and to find such a gem in the middle of a big city wow just amazing. I love the fact that walking and biking paths are separate. I recommend you rent bikes and ride around the park then into the park.

Abdullah AlBiladi

Giant park in the city! Cool for having a rest and escaping from the city noise without leaving the city! It’s a park + beach (English Bay) + long walking trail. There are many relaxing places and playgrounds so bring your family and kids. Also, great views on the pacific and down you Vancouver. The most amazing thing about it is that it’s free. You will only pay for your parking.

Pablo Lalloni

Lovely park. Great views and lots of walking routes. Next time I'll bring my bike!

Richard Woo

Wow, what a beautiful park and coastline. I rented a Mobi bicycle (you can download the app and find bike racks at the entrance of the park) and rode it along the Seawall. I also walked a portion of the Seawall just to slow down and take it all in.

shivam negi

It is one of the go to places in Vancouver! I sadly visited on a cloudy day but it’s an amazing place in general sense. You can get an amazing view of the skyline of Vancouver, as well as several Harbour across Vancouver. You can see ships passing under the bridge which gives an great panoramic view of the entire landscape!

Nick Leduc

It’s a classic in Vancouver. If you haven’t been it’s definitely a good one to visit. I’d recommend taking a bicycle around the island. There are plenty of bike rental shops near waterfront and by the harbour. The scenery is beautiful and if you like mountain biking there’s a few trails inside the woods of Stanley park.

Ivan Pramatarov

It's a nice place to get away from the city. There are plenty of places to discover. You could rent a bike and explore or just walk around it. I rented a bike and it left like a good way to visit within half a day. A walk visit would be more of a full day. There is a also a beach to relax a bit. If you opt for the bike, make sure to get a lock in order to explore places which are off limits to bikes or enjoy the beach.

elizabeth lopez

this is a great place to go for a jug or even to take your dog for a fun time with lots of friendly dogs! There are also some structures to exercise as well as tennis, softball and soccer fields and during the winter time they have skating rings. Awesome space for picnics and yoga.

Roger Aba

Stanley park is huge!!! Been here multiple times throughout the years. This past time with my kids and in laws as the border opened up Mid pandemic.

Obi Uchenna Gregory

Stanley Park is amazing. Its a perfect hike trail for everyone: singles, lovers, best buds and friends support groups tourists, family, etc. It has lots of sights to see such as the Royal Canadian Navy Outpost, an old war cannonball launcher, a huge lighthouse, the statue of a mermaid, the bridge connecting Mainland Vancouver with North Vancouver, several art installations in honor of First Nations People and the culture, a water park and sever8al restuarants and park benches to catch a breath. Its quite a trip so you could choose to speed walk, jog or run if exercising is your goal, walk at a slow pace or take a horse drawn tour to enjoy the sights and take pictures or rent a bike or scooter. Whichever the case, Stanley park is a beautiful part of Vancouver you want to experience when you visit.

Dan Rizzuto

And absolutely much needed sanctuary in the heart of Vancouver. Whether you’re from here or visiting it has some breathtaking views, the smell of nature, and a calming vibe.

Edgar D

Awesome park for all ages. Plenty of spots to enjoy the surrounding nature. The one thing that is missing are water fountains - you can die out of thirst after hours.

Shruty Reddy

Beautiful place with full of greenary in the heart of Vancouver. A must see place for every passer by. One have a good view of Canada place from the park. Do enjoy the Canon firing if possible which takes place every day at 9 pm. There's a lot to explore. It would be convenient if you prefer a bike over walk /four wheeler. It's too long to walk for an average walker and if you have a four wheeler, there's a paid parking. But one can spend a whole day at the park.

Javad Noruzi

If you do cycling, if you do running, if you love beach and all beach stuffs, if you love jungle, if you love sea and ocean view, and like to see amazinf happy peaople, go to Stanely park. Very relax and great time will you have. I love stanely park

Yangchen Lachungpa

Loved it! As tourists, we must say that Vancouver and Stanley Park lives up to all the hype! This park was a fun visit for the kids and us. Amazing views of the mountains, the sea and the bridge. My cousins love the beaches in the summer as well. Would love to go back again... Soon! Also really enjoyed the coffee!

Tomas Rodriguez

Beautiful place to walk around and relax while watching the great views. It also looks perfect to jog or bike around. If you walk the entire loop it will probably take around 2 hours if you are stopping and taking pictures.

Bryan Benitez

I came here to get a great picture for my Drake diss track mix tape cover lol jk. Got lucky with parking, great scenery everywhere you walk in the park. Really awesome park!

Hessam Etminan

Fantastic public park to enjoy your all weather time. Both sunny, coukdy and rainy there is a thing for you to receive and take it home. Old and tall Cedars and maple trees can take you back to history of the nature here. There are some public parking places and lines of walking and biking.

Amy Miller

Gregory McCay

On a sunny day—especially weekends/holidays, a walk along the Seawall is a wonderful Vancouver tradition. Recommend a start /finish @ English Bay. Yes, flocks of walkers...but there’s room for all. You’ll overhear many languages from passers by—signs of the multinational character & attraction-power of City of Vancouver.

Greg Domville

Heads up. Portion of seawall is closed for maintenance. Nice detour trail through the forest. Adds a nice break from busy cement. Awesome 10km walk on a sunny day. It's always colder on the water edge than you think. Dress in layers

Shankar Bose

A beautiful park to spend an afternoon in North Vancouver. You can do so many things. Walk, run, cycle on the paths and tracks. Or you can choose to take a tour of the park on a quaint horse drawn carriage. The Totem Park displays the art of the people of the First Nation. The gift shop nearby has a good selection of First Nation work. A walk along the sea wall brings you to a lighthouse and an old canon that is fired every day at 9 p.m. You get a good view of Canada Place across the water and watch the float planes take off and land.

Sara Tavakolian

We did the seawall only. It took a good 5 hours. We went to beaver lake but it's really not recommended. You don't see the water at all.

Nabl

A huge forest/park right next to the city and one that is even bigger than Central Park of NYC? What's not to love!!

Matthew Wagner

My best place to be apart of the past history of Vancouver, Lost Lagoon would be my place to find peace and harmony. I like that the Metrotown bus connects to the Vancouver Aquarium and all Vancouver's true history.

Siddharth Vashisth

Be prepared to freeze to death if you aren’t wearing an extra layer. The cold air runs over the water and comes to the land giving chills. Also wear boots or sports shoes with grips, it’s really slippery because of snow and black ice.

Deepali Chouhan

A mandatory place to stop by while in Vancouver. It’s natural beauty just took my heart away. So pretty ???? with lots of options to enjoy. You can walk or bike around it as well as stop in between to enjoy delicious food. Worth spending a day!

J J

Great experience. But for Uber users be aware of where's pick up points. We started walking downhill and realized that Uber can nt stop midway. Mark your pick up points or keep time to come back from where you started. (If you get dropped at Prospect point)

Howard Thomas

Lovely place to walk or cycle round. Beautiful scenery. Part of the sea wall walk is closed, not sure how long for.

Nesrin Yarangumelioglu

Stanley park is our favourite spot especially after the opening of the paths. Easy access to bikes ???? and ???? dogs are very happy to meet with their friends

Aiman

Must visit this place once. It is really good for cycling. You can rent cycles from the stores infront of stanley park. The view is great. Can go on picnics here to chill.

Jaspreet Singh

Amazing place to chill. Bike riding experience was awesome

Mandy Sheppard

Seawall is a must do in Vancouver. It's just one of the things that makes Van so unique. The park itself is so versatile and is rich of so much history

Martin Cutler

Amazing views around every turn, you can’t help but love the place! Popular for runners too!

Lukas Vokrinek

It's a vast park, offering many trails throughout the forest as well as a walk along the ocean. This place is bike friendly as well. Highlights are many and I really enjoyed the Lost Lagoon and Hollow Tree but the views and nature were outstanding and free. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys parks or the whole family as well.

Johnny Planète

If you go travel/Visit Or Live in Vancouver, this is a must see. Absolutely amazing trees. The photo don't do justice. ????????????????

Aanchal Sharma

Awesome place for long peacful walks, great beach, clean water, spent all day enjoying sea breeze till sunset.. a lot many eating outlets available. Must visit

John Mitchell

A great park path to ride, mostly flat, even and smooth. Beautiful vista's and scenery. The walking path is 90% separate adding to the comfort and ease of the ride.

Abby Lee

Scenic views all through out the route. Takes about 1 hr to complete a bike ride around the island

Johnny Dasher

And absolutely beautiful park, take your time and walk around it entirely. Definitely worth the view! (Just be smart about where you park, otherwise you might spend a little to much time finding you way back.)

Said Mammadov

One of the most beautiful parks I ever seen.

Ryan Baggott

Stanley Park is an absolute terrific way to spend a lazy summer day. Re t a bike and paddle around for some spectacular views! There is a wonderful restaurant/lounge half way through over looking the historic Lions Gate Bridge. Being a local sometimes you overlook these beautiful places in your back yard. It’s ever so nice to get out and enjoy it.

Rachel Windsor

Definitely worth # 1 rating as a must-go place/park in Vancouver! So beautiful! You can walk/bike around the sea wall! There are many stops that are worth visiting such as Totem Poles, Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Brockton Point Lighthouse, Shakespeare Garden, Railway..... You can literally spend a whole day here!!! Highly recommend it!!! Amazing fall/autumn colors (in October)!

Daniel Laprise

Bring a date.. kiss them on the bridge... Be forever a happy memory.

Heebah Sultan

One of the most beautiful and popular parks! You can spend days wandering and exploring the park. The seawall is absolutely gorgeous.

Miguel Gatmaytan

Massive park, but everyone knows that already! The seawall is a beautiful walk, and the views are amazing all around. Ample parking space at different spots of the park makes it easy to get there. We'll always go back for a nice stroll when we can!

Reviera Cunanan

Jéssica Cristina Amaral Pio

I did the tour with an electric scooter and it was a great experience. The view is so niiiiice. It made me think about my hometown.

Cody Farquhar

I bike the seawall everyday here and its a total magical event every single time! Take a locals route and make sure to bile through the forest as well its an extraordinary experience to get away from all the crows in such a busy city!

VJ

This park is fantastic. Great scenery, walkways and small hikes to do. Even the drive through the park is beautiful. You can spend a full day here and enjoy all that the park has to offer from beautiful scriptures to amazing views. Totally worth it.

Bryon Grove (VIRZAZ & Co.)

This park is amazing. It’s one thing to actually enjoy it for all the different attractions inside the park (aquarium, rose garden, beaches, events, etc) but a totally other thing to go inside and explore one of the many off-trail trails. There are wonders in this park that not the average person would see and that are truly spectacular and awe-inspiring .... you just have to be adventitious enough to go looking for them.

Karen Verrier

Took a walk all around the park along the seawall. Long walk, but easy going. Well worth it.

Mark

Stanley Park has many things to offer, so far I've spent 2 days there, first day was just walking round the park, taking in the scenery and loads of photos. The second day I went to the aquarium, such a fantastic experience, I went on one of the experiences, I was the 4th person to go on the walrus experience, well worth the money! The staff were wonderful, I got a tour of behind the scenes, where the food is prepared, an insight into the research they are doing with the sea mammals, coral and different types of fish. After that I was taken to meet the trainers for the walruses, I was given a history of these magnificent animals and then I got to meet them, feed them and one of them started to suck my thumb, it was such a great experience! The are big animals, and they are only 3 years old, they will reach up to 1700kg. The pair at the aquarium are half siblings and were born at an aquarium in Canada, they have had contact with humans since birth and are very gentle, they have distinct personalities and of they don't want to do something they'll just do their own thing. I would say this is one of the best experiences your could ever have and if I could I would give it an extra bonus 5 ????

Krista Hodgins

Kids loved tobogganing

Rohan Roy

Such breathtaking views of the city, with ample spaces to walk, cycle and explore and tons of activities to do like the Vancouver aquarium, a choice of fabulous restaurants like the Tea House. One of my favorite places to visit everytime I come to Vancouver. Each visit I discover something more that I simply adore about this place. The walk along the sea wall and all around the park rewards you with spectacular views.

Eduardo Fonseca Arraes

Stanley Park is huge. You can easily spend a whole day or two there. Nice paths, beautiful views, really nice beaches with all the infrastructure. Food and drinks in the park are really expensive, so bring your own, make a pic-nic on the grass or on the beach.

Masoud Moosaei

Ride, walk, drive this amazing park in the middle of the city . Killer

Ольга Демидова

The best park I’ve ever been in my life (my precious favorite - Central Park in New York). Large and beautiful. Everyone would find what to do there. There’s a forest with raccoons, skunks, otters, beavers and so on. Lots of birds. Beautiful sea line and beaches. Good ponds. Places to do sports. A wonderful place to relax after a city life.

Meads_Adventures

I LOVE Stanley Park it’s so beautiful easily spent all day walking around and seeing all the magnificent spots and places to see! Starting from one walking trail and all the way up to the top of the hill! For a coffee was perfect! The place is so beautiful from the wildlife to the trees and the people!! Worth going indeed! Can’t even put it into words! JUST GO AND SEE IT!!

Lisa Easton

As always one of the best places to stop in Vancouver, been coming here since I was a small child and it never gets old. If you have littles be sure to stop in at the train and make sure to stop and enjoy the various beaches the park has to offer. I love visiting the totem poles and the hollow tree just to connect again to the history of the area. A must see if you are staying anywhere in the lower mainland.

Vineeth Shankar

First time visitor to Stanley Park with a bike. If you are interested in renting a bike, there is a good option by Denman St - yes bicycle rentals. Easy check-in and start on time. At Stanley, we were worried about the Coyote threat and so, did not venture deep into middle of the park. We biked around the edge along the sea. Please know that sea wall biking is only in the counterclockwise direction (when you are looking at the map). My wife and I enjoyed every minute of the ride. The tracks were well marked up and wide enough to pass other bikes for most of the way. You should be able to comfortably complete a trip around the park by bike in 1.5-2hours. Riders had to dismount to allow pedestrian traffic in some scenic viewpoints.

Nabeel Mahamood

Unbelievably beautiful! Absolutely loved woods and the ocean, so serene! And must visit place in Vancouver

Smevin Bravis

The only rival to Central Park I've ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous. From the lagoon to the aquarium to the beautiful rainforest-esque trails to the 9:00 gun (glad we waited for that to go off!) to prospect point to the skyline view to blah blah blah blah you get it, you get it. It's tremendous❤

Rodyna Zabbit

Not much to do, but a nice walk through on the way to see the falls.

Patel Shardul

Great place to hangout with friends and family. Lots of activities to do. Mini Train ride is awesome!! Also get an rental bikes and do biking all around park.

Kevin Chang

Go rent a bike at nearby Spokes and ride the seawall route around the park for amazing views of the city, shoreline, Lionsgate bridge, totem poles, girl in the wetsuit statue, etc. The path is separated for bikes, rollerblades and walkers. Tons of people doing it on foot if you have time, simply an amazing park! There are also playground, beach and gardens.

Stephen Franchuk

Great walk along the sea wall and Stanley park. Had a nice long walk with the dog and the wife. Lots of lanes for bikes, walkers etc. Lots of parking lots around too to park at and then walk. Had a nice walk here in nice weather, lots to see and lots of benches to rest at if you need.

Terry Leister

Stanley Park is a must do for any visitor to Vancouver, you could spend days in the park and not run out of things to do and see. We were only there for a few hours before joining s cruise but loved walking around Stanley Park.

Maura L

What a great area! We went through the park by parking, which you pay for, and walking and then driving to another lot to park and walk around more. You can pay for parking by the hour or by the day. I recommend downloading the easy park app prior to arriving so you just enter in the car tag number and lot number and you’re good to go. There’s so much to do here. A few members of our group rented bikes but the rest drove/walked around. We ate lunch at Stanley’s Bar and Grill and enjoyed that place. The totem poles were really neat as well. Plan to spend some time walking through the gardens as well.

Johnny Tesoro

The best park in Vancouver... Until the park board decided to politicize the enjoyment of the park. Enjoy this Vancouver treasure and don't forget to visit Lost Lagoon.

Alice

Got lucky to see a cute water dog ???? having lunch ???? so cute! I heard some got lucky and saw a whale the day before. Did a drive through the park on a rainy day And made the decision to take some bikes out for a ride through and it’s worth it!

Shai Eyal

Nice place for a short stop, there's nice restaurant & beer next to it.

D C

Kind of misleading to call it a park considering its size but so many different options and things to do here. From horse drawn carriage ride tours to aquarium. There’s a wide variety of activity to choose from. Jogging, hiking, renting a bike or roller blade and going along the sea wall to just picnicking and spending a lazy day lounging and enjoying the sun. Take your pick.

Víctor Harzbecher

As a tourist, this is probably one of the best places of the city, it's a must if you are visiting Vancouver, since you may find woods, wild life, culture and beautiful landscapes over the same place. Also you may find multiple attractions inside this park, as the Vancouver acuarium, totem poles, Christmas village, and more. If you are visiting Stanley Park be prepared for long walks, it's a huge place! And definitely worth it.

Noble NA

Stanley Park is an incredibly special gem. The sea wall is incredible, a beautiful place to get lost for a whole day. Beaver lake is amazing place for a photo shoot or to walk or jog or just chill

Blog Partiu Mundo

The seawall walk is one of the main paths and as it's about 9 km long, the best way to enjoy it would be biking, in our opinion. We highly recommend it if you're not a good runner. Visiting Stanley Park is a perfect deal for a day trip to escape the hustle and bustle of VanCity as it offers hours and hours of entertainment. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to discover the unique culture of Vancouver's historic and modern art community. We took about 2 hours to bike ride through the seawall trail but we stopped many times for enjoying the view, take some rest and photos.

Señor Nadie

Every time I go to Stanley Park I find new surprises, this is an incredible place to have fun with family, or partner, or friends. Enjoy the nature in this marvelous place. Also you can meet many friendly people, admire huge cruisers passing by. This park is open always 24/7.

Luke

This is one of the best places in Vancouver to see the sunset. I was here in the middle of fall and it was rather chilly, so do wear an appropriate jacket. Apparently in Spring, you can even see cherry blossoms which will be spectacular, considering this is not Japan. The area for this park is huge and you'll need a good pair of walking shoes to get through this place. It's clean to a large extent and there are plenty of chair and tables for you to gather or have a meal. The view of the sea is especially nice during the sunset and it can be pretty romantic too, strolling by the sea and watching the sun set slowly. One thing to note is that towards English Bay, the waves may splash onto you while you are taking that romantic walk, so be alert or you might just get wet from the seawater. This is a great play for cycling, jogging, strolling, bringing your kids to just run around and enjoy the outdoors. As the space is rather sparse, you have plenty of space to practice social distancing with strangers.

Ynod NO

Pleasant place to relax and enjoy nature. Rekatively accessible by any means of transport. Parking can be expensive just like any other place downtown. Be prepare of the crowd on a nice sunny weekend as it gets very crowded.

Sebastian B

Very big park with a lot of attractions around, you'll need like an entire day to visit everything and still you will miss some things for sure. It's pretty quiet and good for long, relaxing walks. Also you cand bring a small mat and just lay down on the grass and enjoy the view. I fully recommend it and all the attractions inside !

Shilpa

Huge park with abundant greenery. Saw beautiful fig tree and many other nice trees/plants. Great to explore by cycling. Well maintained. Nice to spend a whole day too as a picnic spot. Some wonderful views to capture.

Mel

Nice walk or bike around the seawall. There is a bike rental place for anyone interested. Totems were cool and a few other landmarks in the park as well. You could easily spend a few hours here. If you're seeing the suspension bridge, the free shuttle can stop here on the way back.

Vik

Good place to visit. Chise the options to Rome around, you can rent a bicycle or you can use hop on hop off bus service. There are many places to visit. Totem pole is good for photography. There are good scenes around Lady in wet suit and Prospect points.

KEViN ZHU

Wonderful place to spend whole day with family, especially during the sunset! Weather is the most important thing if you want see the beautiful landscape

pari thakkar

Stanley park is one of the prettiest place in Vancouver . You can do small trails there , or visit the aquarium or even just sit by the lake and enjoy the place . I personally did the lost lagoon trail and it was so peaceful and pretty that just a 40 min trail took me 2 hours 30 mins . I was lucky to encounter a baby raccoon and the family .

Ryan Cloutier

I went here with my dad while he was visiting. Beautiful place, serene, quiet. Really nice place to go for a walk or a jog, definitely coming back in the summer to ride a bike. Highly recommend visiting with time to explore. They also have some restaurants and a tea room in the park. Didn't get a chance to go in but will make a point to try them next time I go.

Farzad Ashourpour

A great relaxing place to go everyday to get rid of your routine life to get your battery charge and back to the track again

Eschelle Westwood

Stanley Park is one of thr best places to visit in Vancouver. There is something for everyone: amazing views, golfing, lawn bowling, restaurants, beer, educational walks, beautiful forests, an aquarium and so much more.

Peter Wheatley

My wife and I rented a tandem bike and cycled part way around the park. Unfortunately, the sea wall was not available to cycle around but the road is still pretty close to the edge and there are plenty of opportunities to stop and take some photos of the city. Absolutely a must see if you're visiting Vancouver!

vineesh t vijayan

A best place to walk around / stroll in Vancouver downtown. Peaceful and serene walking along the seawall. The directions and lane pretty clear for the users. There are resting beaches along the way but no resting places or stalls to even get water. So load up all ur drinks/water before you decide to take a stroll since the trail is long one.

Aonika Russell

What a Day Trip! There is so much to see and do in Stanley Park that you need more than a day to do it all. We went around and saw the highlights, like to Rock Garden, the Rose Garden, the Totem Poles and the Lighthouse - but there are so many walking trails and pathways that you really do need more time to see and do it all. Highly recommend for anyone - Young, Old, Big, Small, or furry.

Ponda Baba

The best park ever. You must do the seawall. STUNNING views.

Sandy Deliva

A great nature retreat right next to the city. A wonderful place to unwind. The Aquarium is world class with amazing exhibits. One of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Vancouver

E C

Stanley park is always a good place to go at anytime of year. Seawall is good place for a walk around the park with good views. The trails inside the park from lost lagoon to prospect is a good 30 minutes hike each way through the forest. There is some old growth red cedars around the park that are more than 500 years old.

Viridiana Verver

It's a must when you go to Vancouver, if you love hike ????‍♂️ you're really going to enjoy it

Mark Burns

Beautiful city park. Plenty to see and do. Gets insanely busy. We took a cab in early in the day, and by the time we left the drive in and parking looked extremely challenging and stressful. That said, we had a fun day. We walked across the park via several trails (mainly the Lake Trail). This part of the park experience is severely underrated. We had lunch at the Tea House, explored Third Beach, and then went back to the visitor center. From there we rested our wary legs during a ride on the horse carriage (get yourself a nice discount by buying tickets a day in advance). After some ice cream, we headed out. From the perimeter sea wall to the interior trails, rose garden, and open grass spaces, just a very beautiful place.

Rachana Eswarappa

This park never fails to impress me! View of the city downtown, shipyards, beautiful mountains, bridges, beaches, light house and what not. You name it, this park has it all. The sunsets are absolute mind blowing! ???? Perfect for by-cyclists ????‍♀️, skaters ⛸, pedestrians ????‍♂️. You can even drive through the park and there are parking spots available at viewpoints. A must visit spot when you’re in Vancouver, BC.

Madhawa Bandara

One of my most favourite walk/bike routes in Vancouver. It is 10km long, but the scenic view will take your heart away. If you are visiting Vancouver, this is walk should be on your bucket list without a doubt. No 19 bus comes from Metrotown true Vancouver downtown. If you like to walk from the waterfront station, it will be less than 2km walk.

Rosa R

The biggest park I ever saw....it is very big, really beautiful....with aquarium, beaches... Children like the games there.... All the park is wonderful, I love it very very much. To visit absolutely!!!

Sylwia Psiuk

Totally recommending this place, it is beautiful, full of nice views and hot beaches. Perfect for bike rides ????

Richard Gonzales

You have to visit this park when in BC. It’s amazing!!

Chase Nunes

A beautiful and pleasant place to spend a Saturday afternoon! If you have a bike, bring it! This is a place with many places to explore! FYI - Parking is paid everywhere, so be sure to register your license plate at any pay station or use the EasyPark app! Have fun!!

Jaspreet Saini

This park is just amazing. Come enjoy the park!????✌???? Love Stanley Park during the daytime. Didn't love the parking fees, but there are so many other options other than cars to get out and enjoy this beautiful place. Try using bus, or bike/walk/jog/skate the sea wall. Love the lighthouse and look out. Beautiful view of Ocean, North Shore, Lions Gate Bridge, and Vancouver. Love the miniature train, horse drawn carriage & lots of amazing locations for photography. ????

Adrian M

This popular park covers an extensive area with different sections to visit as well as waterfront paths around the park. You can go along the paths either by foot or bike (separate paths for bicycles and pedestrians), but if you want to cover more ground, it will be a very long hike with little shelter from the sun so a bike would be preferable. You can also take a paid horse and carriage tour. The park offers different things to see including beaches and views back of the Vancouver skyline and North Vancouver. It's definitely worth a visit.

Andrew McDonald

Went for a nice walk on my birthday and came here. Saw a little animal running around under a tree and a few chickadees along the route.

Yuan Wen

My favourite place in Vancouver. It always surprises me in any season, any weather.

Nazia Jeelani

Tandem biking around Stanley Park with my bestie was so fun! No wonder it’s one of the best urban parks in the world - the sights and ride were amazing - really recommend going to see the totem poles.

Kyle Isaac

Love cruising the trails of Stanley Park! Such a peaceful and serene atmosphere to immerse yourself in. A real Crown Jewel of a urban park right off the downtown core. Central Park in New York City doesn't even compare to how beautiful Stanley Park is. You must explore it to appreciate it in its entirety.

Irina Gromova

Beautiful park in a beautiful city! There are a lot of things to do in this park. Very clean, a lot of trails. Very spiritual place. And this park is a home for a couple of bold eagles! So amazing! This is a MUST when in Vancouver!

Rami F.F

The park is uniquely relaxing. Some traffic but you really don't notice as the walking & cycling pavements are a bit isolated from the noise. Plenty of parking spaces ($3.50 an hour). Some goose were around. And of course, the Aquarium and horse riding tours. Well worth the visit!

Chris Postnikoff

Beautiful park and not too crowded these days. Very happy I got to see it on a sunny afternoon.

Ghreza mohammady

I love this park , don't forget your bike , try to have tour around Stanley park . Its open from 6 am to 10 pm. You can some Lovely animal like raccoons or deers , Ohhh don't forget to charge your phone for taking pictures. Have fun

Petr Tchountchouzov

My park choice for spending time with my daughters, lots of playstructures, basketball and tennis courts, soccer/football/baseball fields. Exercise structures, bike path and river side.

2 B Wired inc

There’s something about Stanley Park that makes it seem like BC has always had a piece of my heart. The desire is and has always been to trek the entire park by foot, and although possible, it would be easier to pack into a day with a bicycle, and you’d see all the angles of view to mainland and beyond! If you liked this review, let me know and hit “like”!

Shil

This park is so huge and it's in the counter of the city which makes it so special, having such space in city hustle is a bliss, there's so much to explore here the highlights like aquarium, horse wagon ride, rose garden, rail and much more. This is perfect to workout may it be cycling or jogging around. It is just so beautiful that you'll enjoy every bit of the time spent here. Not to forget the totems, they're very special here and you'll learn so much about each one of them. You can also sit by and watch the water, it's very peaceful to be here.

Alex Barakova

Fantastic walks, good place for cycling. Definitely recommend going early in the morning you might be lucky to see the sea lions as well!

Christine Giusti

Beautiful park! The beauty of the fall is unbelievable! All those trees red, brown, yellow. Stanley park has a variety of hues. If you are lucky, you can see the adorable raccoons walking around with their families. Just be careful and don't feed them with our food. They also can fight each other, so that is better to stay away. Otherwise, they are so cute and approach us easily.

Johnny Chau

Incredibly scenic and easily accessible with all of the bike shops around. It's a really nice experience to bike and see views, the bike trails around the park are perhaps slightly unclear.

Manpreet Dhillon

This giant park has everything that you need to enjoy your free time. Beach, seawall, trails (especially for bikes) and lot more.

Indre Ra

Beautiful park with an amazing view almost in the middle of the city. Great for a coffee break or picnic.

Christopher Nowell

It is very restrictive if you are not able to walk long distances or ride a bike. I feel badly for the businesses that have been hurt when the parks board decided to take one traffic lane away to put in a bike. Oh today no one was using the bike they were all riding on the sidewalk.

Devdutt Hemanth

Wow, visited after it snowed in Vancouver. Amazing view of bridge, park and river. Words can't completely express unless we see the with own eyes..

Aniket Sarkar

One of the best parks I've been too around the world. Beautiful sea line and the most perfect way to spend your evening. The most ideal time would be around the golden hour as the Vancouver skyline is wonderfully lit by the sun.

Edyn Hope

Always beautiful and well kept, even in our rainy Vancouver weather. Whether you rent bikes and go along the seawall, visit the aquarium, go on horse and buggy, sprawl out on the beach or enjoy a nice seanic walk through the thousands of trees and lush forests, Stanley Park will never disappoint. Only warning is stay clear of the geese ;)

Alexander Turlov

A notable place to visit in Vancouver waterfront. Great views of Vancouver harbor, downtown, mountains, marine. Many tourist attractions such as totems and aquarium. Great and enjoyable walk or a bike ride. Easy access by public transportation.

Hamish McDonald

What can be said of Stanley Park that is not already said in these reviews? It does, however warrant another 5 star rating. It's the second or third largest urban park in North America, and it's a temperate rainforest, surrounded by ocean. Enjoy the park with a scenic drive, enjoying the great views and numerous landmarks along the way. Or, walk, jog, bike, or rollerblade around the outside of the park on the seawall. Or, even still, spend some time in the interior of the park enjoying things like the aquarium, the mini railway, the rose garden, monuments and statues, picnic grounds, and numerous scenic lookout points, like Prospect Point. A little something for everyone.

manong ftmcmurray

Great park, with nice views. Separate bike and walking lanes. Lots of historical info. A must for runners and Fitbit users.

Jack Kaz (HyeProfile)

When visiting Vancouver (and especially if you live there), you MUST walk, jog, rollerblade, or bike around Stanley Park and enjoy it's splendid sceneries and unique sprawling urban park vibe. Try to loop around the seashore during sunset, when the views are especially epic. Don't forget to stop by the 9 o'clock gun when it fire (at 9pm, of course). Just be aware that if you rent Mobi bikes ⁵ to bike the loop, the section between the aquarium and the next Mobi bike station takes more than 30min to complete so you might pay overage fees since Mobi bikes are max 30min of use before you need to return it to a free rack and take it back out.)

Aída Coronel

I love that you can either walk, bike or skate, and enjoy pretty cool views ????

My Dang

This is the huge park in the heart of Vancouver. There has bicycle paths so it is more convenient for people to rent or bring their own bicycles because it takes a lot of time to discover all attractions of the park. There is swimming pool for public. You can buy monthly ticket or just entry ticket to go, the water is warm. Parking isn't free and pricy so if you intend to go here for picnic, you should spend a whole day and parking day fee is 13$.

George DaNova

Very nice riverside park. Great for walks, even if you're in the minority without a dog. Small skating rinks in the winter.

DIKSHA DHAR

My All time favorite park in Vancouver Downtown. There is lot to explore in stanlay park like beaches , Cycling, beautiful sea side swimming pool with amazing view and best place for family outings

Kevin Mullett

Beautiful park! Its huge and there is so much to see! There are many small lakes and being right on the edge of the bay there are tons of things to see! It's a great place to take a walk and explore for a day!

Tia Dawson

Lovely spot to relax, watch the water, journal, and enjoy the scenery.

Brandys Evans

This is one of my favorite places. I love to do my work/research/writing at 3rd beach and rollerblading around the seawall. A sunset at third beach and then basking in the dusk looking out onto coal harbour are some of the most beautiful sites I have the pleasure of enjoying????.

nancy sanchez

The best places to visit in Vancouver, the night train in Halloween is great fun and the Christmas one is beautiful. Bring a food item for donation . Our firefighters decorate the Christmas event and they put a ton of effort in it .love it every year.

Iwona Boniewska

A great park, natural and real nature. There is a place for a picnic, for a rest, and a long walk. Lots of interesting places, lakes, animals, nature. Part of the park is real wild nature, forest, and a truly urban part. Everywhere clean, nice and pleasant.

Christopher Robins

A gorgeous and expansive park located between central and northern Vancouver! This park is loaded with beautiful trails that give you a glimpse into what the area must have looked liked hundreds of years ago! Trails interweave throughout the entire park passing through old forests and aquatic animal habitats alike. Parking is accessible every where (paid) and the park is additionally ideal for passing cars and cyclists alike. I highly suggest parking and walking around but quotes busses also available for the less active (or those who fear getting lost) The park is also home to a beautiful rose garden, a few beaches, and a few refreshment stations here and there. A must go to for all!

Abu N

The park is much larger than I thought it would be. Renting a bike and riding across the seawall was very scenic.

Salman Haji

Hiking, biking, running or walking through fantastic city and ocean views. One of the largest and most spectacular parks in North America.

Paula Marth

A must see attraction. We only had a couple of hours so we drove around the park stopping at the main points. It is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The park is kept very clean and well kept. The beaches were so pretty and the path is well worth a walk. It would have been nice to have a bike and go through it. Next time I will give myself the entire day there!

Chris Merpaw

Pretty area with level trails. Lots of people out walking dogs.

Vincent

Beautiful park. Good place to walk around specially when there is sunshine. Good playground for kids and for everyone. ????

Letícia Marcorin

Great! Full of different trails and turist spots. The view of the city and the water is fantastic. Very accessable to bikes, rollerblades, wheelchairs

Kayce Gregory

Great place to walk, jog and bike. If you have a free few hours I recommend spending it strolling around Stanley Park. Beaver lake is a good walk. And if you walk quietly you'll be amazed at how content the wildlife is. I've had birds fly to my hand and squirrels within inches of me.

Ruchita Satani

Beautiful sun set view

Jacob V

Beautiful scenery, great trails and a wonderful way to unwind on the weekend. Try to arrive early or parking can be a challenge. Also pack snacks if you plan to stay the day as food can be pricey.

Michael Heard

Probably the very best park in Canada - wild-life,seaplanes taking off,First Nations museum/shop,totem poles, long cycle paths, views of the city, liners departing for Alaska. - a must visit if in Vancouver.

Dhaval Patel

Amazing place for a weekend morning walk

Jithin

Stanley Park is a 405-hectare public park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that occupies the northwest half of the Downtown Peninsula and is bordered by the waters of Burrard Inlet and English Bay. This is a true Vancouver treasure. Biking around the seawall is something I definitely recommend. It's a wonderfully serene and lovely experience. Some of the routes pass through ancient growth forest, which is spectacular. Float planes take off and land, and you get an excellent view of Canada Place across the river. There are multiple bike rental stations throughout the route, so renting one ahead of time isn't necessary unless you want something sportier and lighter.

JP Csubi Z

Stanley Park is the premier way to spend a day in Vancouver. There are many trails to walk or ride through. The seawall provides beautiful views of the city and surrounding mountains. Take a ride on the miniature train or see how the Vancouver Aquarium helps save animals off our coast. Don't forget about the 9 o'clock gun too.

Sarmad Saleem

Beautiful place to relax. Bring your bicycle or rent one to enjoy a great ride along the sea wall. You can drive around the park and there are multiple paid parking spots. Just a heads-up, you might find cayotes so make sure you stand your ground and avoid running

Namaste Zen

This is an amazing park. Alots of things to do and watch. No mosquito at all. Many trails to walk into giant trees. So close to downtown but feel like you are far away from city and walking into wilderness. Surrounded by sea walk with beaches. Very romantic place to watch sunset. Bikes riding are so fun too. This is a must go. I strongly recommend to anyone. Brings your children they will enjoy it too. I will return many times because so much to watch and so much to do. This place is awesome so don't hesitate. Have a great day ☀️

ahmed alsunni

No real comment on Stanley park one of the best parks in the world I call Vancouver gods city

Aaron Lo

A true Vancouver gem. You could easily spend a day here biking along the seawall, walking through the forests, hanging out by the many beaches, and so on. I highly recommend biking around the seawall. It’s a truly peaceful and beautiful experience.

Sachin Singh

Haven't gone in a few years but I have to say I love this place. Chose to originally do my wife and my engagement shoot here and it's a great place for it. The seawall is always nice to walk, run, jog, scooter, bike and Rollerblade. If you need a place to take a dip in a pool, get the kids our just some down time this is the place to go.

TJ Harmony

Today's adventure took us to Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park. We had a lovely February sunset stroll. It was crisp and sunny and beautiful. We saw Canada Geese, 2 Herons and several varieties of ducks. There is a well maintained path that borders the lagoon allowing for a serene wander around enjoying it's view. Plenty of benches provide sweet spots to enjoy some quiet time taking in the serenity. Dogs are welcome on leash. Our German Shepherd was displeased she wasn't allowed to join the ducks for a swim, but she behaved herself and allowed for some lovely photos.

J D

This is a great place to walk your dog off leash and have your dog socialize. Prior to the construction in the park I would have rated it 5 star. You can no longer do a loop around and are missing a large area of space.

Tia

Absolutely beautiful, lesser known gem, well worth checking out.

Nuri OHN

Great place to run and ride.

Rustamdeep Khosa

It's a vast park with many trails and recreational spots. Along the entire perimeter of it, runs a beautiful seawall trail where people enjoy biking, walking, longboarding etc. The park has lovely beaches, amazing views, an aquarium, totem poles, train and horse-cart tours, swimming pools as well as restaurants and food shops! Do check out the Tea house restaurant and third beach! There's a cannon called the nine-o-clock gun which, as the name suggests, fires at 9 p.m. everyday, just past it is a small lighthouse where you can take pretty pictures and to the west of that, at some walking distance, is what looks like a mermaid sitting on a rock in the water.

Michael Liman

Nice place for biking, jogging or just walking, with family or alone. Rose garden pavilion is very beautiful. Rose garden pavilion is the best place to take pictures. A lot of wonderful flowers. There is also a section near the cliff big rock on one side and the other side is the ocean. It is very beautiful to take more pictures.

Maíra Dutra

Very nice park, plenty of space, nice views of the river and beautiful trees, nice bike trails as well =)

G Gill

Very peaceful and beautiful place. Amazing view of downtown skyline. Cycling on seawall is very fun activity. Amazing views of the city, mountains and lions gate bridge. Perfect for wedding proposals and photo shoots. Very busy during summer

Huong Tran

This a beautiful park and a big tourist attraction. Which is why it would be nice if there was better signage to direct people on bikes, scooters and walking paths. I lost count of how many times we got yelled at by angry cyclist while we were trying to tour the place on e-scooters.

Frank Nbeans

this place is a real gem. there are so many trails, you could spend days here and not see them all. the best is just walking along the seawall around sunset, honestly one of the most amazing views of my life. in fact I love this place so much, that I drove 1200 km to propose at third beach! if you're in the city, just rent a bike and give it a quick go. you won't regret it

Peter Johnson

Got to walk the paved trail along the water and it was gorgeous and well maintained. Unfortunately the inner trails normally available to hike were temporarily closed. I'm excited to head back to check out the rest of the park!

Zaara Kidwai

Great place to be. Huge area. Wanted to go at the beach but it was closed due to snow. There is a lot to see around though.

Dip Lim

Our favorite place to bike around on Sunday. One of the best places in Vancouver. The sea wall is a must visit. :)

Russ Lacuata

Ideally located on a peninsula at the northwestern edge of downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park is one of the city’s main tourist destination. Featuring lovely beaches, miles of well maintained paved and dirt trails, Canada’s largest aquarium and an array of can’t miss kids friendly spots. It is recognized as one of the greatest urban parks in the world.

Dean Landeche

Great park, lots of sites, attractions. We rode through the park on a tour, then came back for a good portion of an afternoon. We visited the Totem Park, then walked a few trails before finding the flower gardens. We captured great pictures while admiring the roses and other flowers. Then we hiked back toward the city and captured more marina, seaplane and city scape photos. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here just for a quick walk, a visit to the flower gardens and the totem parks. That was all the time we had, and we wished we had more to enjoy other park attractions. Next time, we're renting bikes for the circle ride on the sea wall.

Daniela RAA

What a privilege to live close to this gem and be able to casually spend time exploring. Great features and very well managed. It's worth the visit by tourists and locals!

Raza Noor

Nice place to relax and get away from the fast paced life of downtown Vancouver

Amin Taghipour

Love it, a forest in downtown. Walk through the park to enjoy beatiful sights like lost lagoon, beaver lake or the seawall. Walks in the woods are so relaxing. I personally love the second beach with it's gorgeous view and good amenities. Stanley park is one of my favourite things about Vancouver.

JadeCeci

It is a very pretty place. Both the sea and the trees are awesome. It is huge and you can explore very peaceful & beautiful spots inside. I wish I could have gone there and explore it more. I will definitely visit again if I go back to Canada.

Brian Mills

Who wouldn't love Stanley Park? It's justifiably Vancouver's marquee destination. To to call it *a* destination is to miss the point. Stanley Park is many, many destinations. It's also many activities and many views. Walk, roll or cycle the seawall. Walk or cycle through the forest - lots of it. Visit a rose garden, totem poles, beaches, viewpoints, cafes, restaurants, playing fields, memorials, artists, playgrounds, pavilions, ponds, lakes and more. Linger or exercise. Oh, yes, and there's an aquarium as well. Vancouverites love it and use it. So do our visitors. And there's room for all. Come by bike, bus or foot. And if you must drive then park and explore the park as far from your car as you can.

Jason LeClair

Paul Steele

Vancouver's amazing green space, with paths and cafes, play grounds and pools, totem poles and art. This is a must visit place when in Vancouver. It is worth taking the time to just wander around, especially take some of the trails through the park, like those around Beaver Lake. It is just a great way to unwind, get a bit of fresh air and enjoy a wonderland of nature.

Gary Nguyen

Beautiful park ^^ Has many trail to explore, seawall is absolutely stunning. Best place for walking, jogging, chill and of course for a good location for photoshoot

Kayla Charles

Great park! Great place for the dogs. Keep in mind they cannot be off leash everywhere, watch out for cyclist, they often ride where they're not supposed to and have hit dogs before. I always bring my fur babies to an opening in the trail that goes into the river - it's a dog party in there! Also beautiful just to hang out, have a picnic or go for a stroll.

Lisa Tran

Everything they say about Stanley Park is true. Biking/rollerblading around the Sea Wall is a must-do in Vancouver! You can definitely bike around the entire wall in about an hour! Lots of hidden things to see. High recommend!

VILAS BHOSALE

a awesome park right by downtown. We ran 5km of the 10 km following the seawall. Awesome views, fresh air , not too crowded and everything was under control. Definitely a must visit. Can see why Vancouver is rated one of the best places in the world to live. Got the big city and a awesome park right by downtown. We ran 5km of the 10 km following the seawall. Awesome views, fresh air , not too crowded and everything was under control. Definitely a must visit.

Russ Pasley

Walked most of the Seawall trail clockwise. Tremendous natural beauty with some cool sites to see inland. Wild blackberries everywhere! Definitely a must-see day trip for those looking to explore this awesome city.

Juergen Dsouza

This is a nice quiet place to sit and relax. Early morning walks are highly recommended as the sunlight melts in you and gives you an amazing experience of the environment. There are bicycles for hire, a nice quiet cafe and a lovely view of cargo ships coming in the area to dock.

Tia van Deventer

An absolute must do in Vancouver, whether you live here or you are visiting. I honestly never get tired of the beauty of the park, and there are just so many options. Bike around the Seawall for gorgeous city and ocean views, wander the forest paths, visit the totem poles, or lounge on one of several beautiful beaches. You can't go wrong in the park!

Daryl Lukashal

Good hill for tobogganing !

Candice Grizzle

Must see. Great day even with the rain. Beautiful

Davina Johnsen

All kinds of sights to see! As a tourist, this was the spark of my adventures to this lovely city! I can not wait to come back and spend more time here and get more personal with nature and the trails. Perfect place for photography!

Brian McMorrough

Ideal spot for a quick walk, with or without your dog. Can be a little muddy after the rain but easily avoidable by walking on the grass. Very quiet, calm walk by the river. Plenty of parking is available on Stanley Avenue.

Ranjan Shakya

Little bit of everything in this great urban park. We rode all around the bike path around Stanley Park. It was fun but the crowds unfortunately ruin the experience a bit. I am all for people getting outside to enjoy beautiful places like this but many people don't know basic etiquette or how to ride a bicycle. The park itself is spectacular with different areas providing different things to see, from totem poles to huge bridges to a sandy beach. I would do this again but would hope for fewer people.

Meredith Chou

Stanley park is one of the most beautiful park located in the central downtown. The sea wall trail is only one way ride, so be prepared for a looooong bike ride. Think twice before you do it but you won’t be disappointed if you are going for an amazing nature views.

Octaviano Pereira

Stanley Park is environmentally clean to walk, to cycle, roller blading etc, breathe healthy air, with kids play, horse ridden train to go around have blooming flowers tall trees, harbour with all sorts of boats around, good opportunity to admire and take family pictures. Pretty sad aquarium has to be closed due to Covid 19 restrictions.

Stephanie Kilpatrick

Adorable park!!! And a great way to get lost- just a short distance from the bustle of downtown! The trails are great, it's pretty quiet. And the garden is all set up with lights.

Mauro Varas B

Stanley Park is a magnificent green oasis in the midst of the urban landscape of Vancouver. Explore the 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest and enjoy scenic views of water, mountains, sky, and majestic trees along Stanley Park's famous Seawall. Discover kilometres of trails, beautiful beaches, local wildlife, great eats, natural, cultural and historical landmarks, along with many other adventures. The park offers a wide range of unforgettable experiences for all ages and interests, including Canada’s largest aquarium. Vancouver parks are open from 6am to 10pm unless otherwise posted, and access to washrooms is available from dusk until dawn.

Chelz

A nice place for biking and had a nice view

George Dy

Honestly the most beautiful park I’ve ever been to. Large with a variety of activities from nature hikes to cycling around the perimeter. Come at sunset for a spectacular view.

Andrew Bosio (Wolf79)

Love it...plebty of parking loads of walking with nice shoes or hiking shoes, loads of bike path, walking path and roller blade path, plenty activities for the kids to adventure in learn about nature loads of wash rooms available and small cafe with gift shops. A real day out if u wanna experience it all

Megan Metcalf

Walk, ride, or drive through here. You could spend days exploring all it has to offer. The most beautiful city park I’ve ever seen! Many “sites are within this park- like the Siwash Rock and the totem poles.

Mitzi Sanchez

Chris Hodgkinson

Stanley Park is always a great place to visit and explore. Personally love walking on the sea wall and watching for seals.

Andrew Lundgren

Great place to visit. The birds are awesome!

Renata Hedman

The park is huge! There are different areas and activities to do there. It is a great place to enjoy with family and friends. Enjoy the sunshine laying down on the grass, playing, volleyball, air badminton or whatever is your favorite sport. This was the first year of the project alcohol in parks. They also set some picnic tables around the park. I didn't witness any alcohol abuse or problems due intoxication... The tables are also great for having small social distance bd parties on the park.

Cantrice Hiler - Candy

What a beautiful Park!! Ocean waves, kids parks, trials to walk or bike. Lots of bikes, it's a great way to ride the whole park or you can ride the park bus. We drove it, great drive???? Great sunset drive!

Izhar Mohammed

Awesome place to have a long walk or run and seaside watch. This park is very well maintained

Aaron D

Very scenic place and the weather cooperated. We stopped here just to check it out for maximum 1 hour and we took 3 hours since we enjoyed it so much. The trail was amazing. Wide sidewalks for cyclists and tons of area to walk. It is recommended that people come here for picnics. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Stanley Park and I look forward to coming back again in the near future.

Maryam Masoumirad

Beautiful park with wondrful nature! Try walking by the sea wall. Unforyunately, the trails are closed due to coyotes. But still worth it to see fall in the park.

Hendrik Van Harn

Amazing park with stunning views along the entire seawall. Can get incredibly busy sometimes, and cyclists and pedestrians that can't figure out which path they need to be on making it moderately dangerous if you're not paying attention where you're walking or cycling though.

Nicholas Gangloff

A truly amazing park in the middle of Vancouver. I have never seen a park that has dense trees, walking trails, bike trails, a beach, and art work all in one. The only downside is that parking isn't free, but driving around and taking photos is not an issue at all. Definitely worth checking out if a tourist, and I would definitely be coming here often if I lived in Vancouver.

Mehryar Yeganeh

Stanley park is a great huge park that connects Downtown to North Vancouver and West Vancouver. It’s great and super huge park just some minutes walk away from busy streets. You have access to good enough parking lots and great walking and jogging path through both water side and trees. The best side of park is its fluent character that you never get tired of it. It always surprises you even for the hundred times. Fall in Stanley Park is amazing and full of beauties. It has many different walking paths through trees that gives you a sense of discovery.

Arthur Cheng

Nice place for all purpose (kids, parents, families, visitors, educators). Parking is not free (credit cards accepted). Can see Vancouver downtown during the night, pretty! Public restrooms available. Bicycles rental available, but not cheap. Easy access.

Lahari Prasanna

Biking through the park is the best way to explore it. There are many beautiful locations within the park to visit. It’s a unique and great experience.

Leighton Carter

A must see attraction in Vancouver. A fantastic sea walk walk or ride around the park is worth the effort for the shear beauty of the views. Several beaches are interspersed along the path. Inside the park has magnificent trees and forest trails. A nice public pool. Frequent festivals grace the lawns here. A Mobi rental for a ride around is highly recommended.

Joseph Brett

Wonderful day! Walked from the opposite end of downtown Vancouver all the way to the beginning of the park and then all the way around the park. It was over 10 miles and we felt it the next day, but well worth it! As you finish the walk in the park and begin entering back into the city at the north end there are restaurants to grab a drink and enjoy the view.

Mandy K

What a beautiful park in Vancouver.. I loved my walk along the shore ????.. so many activities to do .. Their are so many bike rentals close by so you can easily rent a bike and go for an adventure..

Claudia Pawlak

This park is a must-go-to when visiting Vancouver. The seawall is definitely the best part. Keep your eyes peeled for seals! Even saw some dolphins during our walk. Definitely bring some comfortable shoes, as you'll be walking a great deal if you really want to experience all this park has to offer.

Akshat Gupta

The best place to go to in Vancouver!! It's so beautiful and quite here. You could rent a bike to cover the entire park for like 8.5$ an hour. There are few casual restaurants as well and the park is full of vegetation which is the best part. To enjoy more, one should go to the park during the summers.

basheer bergus

Beautiful park with beaches, views, hiking, and ample public facilities. Unfortunately, much of the hiking was closed summer 2021 due to coyotes. Loved my time at the beach!

Laszlo Kovacs

Great place for a morning jog.

Vijay Shivdasani

There are a lot of small gardens and attractions like the aquarium, lighthouse, beaches, small lakes, totem poles, a mini railway, jungle trails, beaches and a few restaurants and cafes inside the park. In fact, as we found out, one day is not enough to explore the entire park really well. We walked from the Bus Loop to the Beaver Lake and further to the Prospect Point Lookout part of the way via the Sea-wall, and spent more than an hour and a half admiring the beautiful views. We would love to come back here if and when we visit Vancouver again.

Stephen Suley

A hidden gem of downtown Ottawa. Go to the waterfalls at sunset for an amazing view.

Micheal Weinfurtner

So much to see, takes more than a day trip to see it all...so plan ahead. Gardens, Art, trees, totems, seawall, light-houses, water parks and more. Sea Wall path is split in halfs, one for walking and other for bikes...very nice. Lots of things to see and do here. Walking paths in the woods amount the Red Cedars and more. Some very peaceful places to find and have a quiet moment at. Water parks for the kids complete with a drying station to have them ready to travel home. Will be going back again.

Marlene Olson

Stanley Park is wonderful! I came here as a child, and have great memories, and my Mom grew up here. So worth renting bikes and riding around on the seawall. I can't wait to go back!

JJ

Amazing park with sooooo much to offer. The aquarium, beaches, and the usual park activities. Bicycles everywhere so watch out! Parking is $3.50 an hour park wide. We were there for 3 hours and didn't even see half the park. Seaplanes flying overhead landing the whole time. There is just so much eye candy everywhere, the mountains, downtown, and all the ship action. Can't wait to go back!

Michael Kleine-Deters

Only took a drive through here recently! What an amazing reminder of childhood, one of the best parks I have been to in my life. Such a scenic area of the world!

craig Jolley

One of the most scenic places I have ever been. With the world longest uninterrupted seawall walk. It has views of mountains, restaurants parkland and one of the top aquariums in the world. Also has a collection of totem poles from the first nation people and visitor center.

Ram Rosa

The aquarium is so much fun. Great for all ages!

Sunny Binning Pictures

It’s a big park , you need a map and few days to see it all , the trails are so beautiful, there are lot of things you can see and enjoy . Aquarium park is awesome , there is a long list you must see if you ever go there

Ahmed Mansour

Beautiful park. Clean bathroom facilities. Functioning water fountains. Wish they add more Mobi bicycle stations. The horse carriage ride is nice and gentle and the guide knows the history. Flowers are a must visit. More than 40 varieties of roses alone. Lots of bees and pollinators take advantage. I have seen a seal in the water every time I visited. Baby crabs in the Bay and Herons looking for fish

Mark Fernandes

Largest park in North America, no use of an architect and it's beautiful! I've been twice and haven't even scratched the surface of this place but everything I did see was fantastic! You can bike, blade, run, walk at leisure, they have added lanes for walkers so it's safe. Totems are nice on the other side as well as the cannon and lighthouse.

Chris Gigliotti

This visit to Stanley Park was primarily to visit the Vancouver Aquarium so I will focus on that. The Aquarium is a great place to take the family for a day out. I miss the Beluga and Orcas, but I think the aquarium doesn't suffer because of it The 4D theatre is a real treat, and we all had great full-sensory experience. The exhibits on the effects of plastics on the world's oceans is timely, if a little disturbing. We also enjoyed the Amazon Rain Forest, which had monkeys, a two-toed sloth, and bats! Price is a little high, but for a once in a while experience, or if you're from out-of-town and are looking for an interesting day out for the family, this is worth adding to your itinerary.

Nathan Roques

Nice big green oasis in the center of Vancouver. The bike path all around the park makes it very easy to enjoy the beautiful views of the city. You have also beaches if you want to relax after an exhausting bike ride!

Martynas Gruodis

Gosh, so much to do and to see there! You must take a bike or an electric scooter to go all around the park. There is a splash park, an outdoor pool, beaches (third beach was our favorite), rock wall, restaurants. If you are traveling with kids take your bikes and plan whole or two days to discover it all!

Jon N

This was a favourite destination. The bike ride is scenic and easy to do. It takes about 1-1.5h if you go at a reasonable pace to take in the views and take pictures. The bike and walking trails are well maintained. We went in the early afternoon and there wasn’t much traffic or crowds at all. Bike rentals are nearby and convenient. Really recommend this!

David Var

Probably the best park I ever visited. Always green with lakes and beaches with Teahouse restaurant and Prospect point view point makes this place unique. What’s good: - Aquarium - Prospect point view point. Food, drinks and an ice cream available. Nice view to Golden Gates bridge guaranteed. Nice view to the ocean guaranteed. - Tea house restaurant - Seawall 8km for running walking or biking - Designated biking lane throughout the whole park - Beach, beach and another beaches. - Lost Lagoon lake is gorgeous. Etc etc etc What needs improvement: - honestly parking should be more affordable and in some places free.

fawaz khalil

I go there a lot and it’s really big there is trails bikes near a beach it’s a really nice view there there is so much to explore there is also playgrounds for kids it’s good for family freinds kids disabilities and for everyone but most of it’s parking is for money

Jenny Wang

Winter: lovely strolls in the snow. Summer: nice long walks along the sea wall. What’s not to love haha, except maybe the traffic jam in downtown it takes to get there, but definitely worth the hassle!

Sneha Iyer

One of most beautiful park in Vancouver. A must visit. It has Aquarium in it which is magnificent. Horse drawn tour , hop on hop off sightseeing bus tours n many more things. Kids will love this place for sure. Truly a place to visit if visiting Vancouver

Ally Robertson

Awesome as always... Other than the 40.00 parking ticket. Accidentally forgot to go to the pay tower, was too excited to see my granddaughter. Le sigh..... My own darn fault. Wish we could prepay for parking.

Huy An

The Best Wedding Photography Location - If you are about to get married, and wondering about Stanley Park location. I can be sure with you that your Wedding Photo will be awesome. There are forest, beach, park, natural mix in the place. Tip for marriage couples is YOU SHOULD SPEND A LEAST 2-3 HOURS for the photo sessions, and go around 9 to 11am and 5 to 8pm. Hope it helps for everyone. Huy from 48 Studio.

Rimsha Sultan

A beautiful place for a walk in the park or by the water. Undoubtedly crowded on weekends but the sceneries make it worthwhile. Easily accessible by bus and car, multiple cafes and snack shacks. **Wear comfortable shoes, watch out for horse poop; bathrooms are dirty but it’s not out of the ordinary for a park**

Max Hsu

Big park, various scene inside. It’s good for everyone to take a little walk in there. In addition, renting a bike and go for a ride is also a good choice. The beach and playground are full of people, you can enjoy some sunshine there!

Kelly Fullagar

Stanley park is such a beautiful place to explore. Whether you hire a bike or walk around the park you will not be disappointed at the batural beauty of the park and the amazing views from its high points. There are many places to stop and plenty food options.

Allie F

Such a beautiful park to sit and relax and take in the scenery. I love being near the water, so this place was perfect for me. It helps that I was with a beautiful girl as well, no complaints there. I'll be back for sure!

Sheima Alfak

Beautiful park, great place for walk, picnic, bike with a great view

Kinjal Shah

Always lovely to walk, bike or take a tour in your car. Amazing views through out the park.

Mahdi

It is a very beautiful place for walking and cycling along with a very beautiful and crystalline beach

Jon

Really big park, lots of things to do. Will have to come another day to enjoy other parts of it and other activities. The scenery's really nice too.

Kirby Africano

Visited this Iconic aquarium for the first time out of all the 30 years that I have lived in British Columbia! Definitely well worth ti experience this facility even later in life! Absorbed all the beautiful exhibits with great interest, and completely learned so much more of our water world! Must take children of all ages to experience this spectacular facility!

Mayank Jain

Must visit this place... Nice view of city, yachts, mountains ⛰️, clean water ???? , beaches... everything is awesome ????

Boris Boykiw

Always nice to visit. Glad nothing has changed since our last visit 30 years ago. Only thing we missed was going to the tea room. Because of Covid they had adjusted their hours.

Andrew P

Fantastic park with unmatched scenery, and right beside downtown too. There were lots of attractions and things to do, paid or not- children's playgrounds, walking trails, jogging/cycling paths, etc amidst a stunning waterfront backdrop.

Raymond Readhead

Rob Cameron

A jewel of Vancouver. Lots of trails to explore, soak up nature, and breathe in the fresh air. Unfortunately the seawall has been damaged once again by intense winter storms- enjoy it while you can!

الثريا الثريا

Stanley Park is a large recreation reserve in the heart of Akaroa on Banks Peninsula, featuring a mixture of open grassland and naturally regenerating kanuka forest.

Trippy Tripcicle

This park is just beautiful! So many places to explore, from the sea wall to the flower gardens to the bike and walking trails. I am sure it would take months to see everything. This is an excellent Park!

Chris Tsang

Can see why Vancouver is rated one of the best places in the world to live. Got the big city and a awesome park right by downtown. We ran 5km of the 10 km following the seawall. Awesome views, fresh air , not too crowded and everything was under control. Definitely a must visit.

Oleksandra Kurash

Beautiful park to parcour on a bike. We saw a seal and starfish while there. Lots of gorgeous locations for pictures. Third beach was very nice with beautiful sand

Andrei Gerasimenko

The best park in the World especially if you can to get there not during rush hours. It looks amazing but different every time you come.

Alex Pletnyov

As usually, one of my favorite places to run. That sea breeze makes it so pleasant for running/walking/biking. And of course, the views are just amazing!

Michael Leach

We had a Spectacular day hanging out in Stanley Park.... Did lots of hiking trails, enjoyed so many beautiful Vistas...BBQed Dinner at 3rd Beach, watched the sun go down... Beautiful Sunset

Elle Powers

Stanley Park is a must stop on any visit to Vancouver. There are many bike shops that rent bikes by the hour that can be used for a scenic ride on the Stanley Park seawall. Do yourself a favor and avoid the bikes for rent at the park or on the street. They are extremely heavy and some have low air in the tires and poor brakes. Not a fun ride on those rental bikes.

Emma Turner

Beautiful neighborhood for Christmas lights !

S Gregory

Absolutely stunning park. Fun for the kids, adventurers, sightseers, photographers, and those who just like to relax. I was surprised at the variety and the simplicity of so many things to do. Things that I would have never thought to be as enjoyable as it was. While others activities exceeded my expectations. People can rent and bike around the park. There are nature trails throughout the park. Plenty of green space to have a picnic. There are cafes with vegetarian options and they sell kombucha! There are also plenty of benches to just sit and enjoy the greenery, mountains and the water. There's even a small water area for kids to play and dry off. I could stay out here for hours.

Herry Dai

Took the bus to that park and then walked up to the prospect point before heading back south. Trails are very tranquil in weekday mornings. It was very fun to see waves smashing against the seawall.

Cory Crush

The best paved path I have ever experienced by a long shot. Went riding here yesterday on my beach cruiser. Stopped at 3rd Beach. Nice and flat for perfect cruising. Quite the epic scenery. Worth a trip to Vancouver just for the beaches and seawall ????

Denis Dodge

Susan Ackerman

Nice path all around the point past beaches, but unfortunately they had closed the other trails due to cougars in the park

Youssef Chahdi El Ouazani

Great park to check the city and get out of the Vancouver's buzz

dan arsenault

Great for kids tobogganing

Hyun Hyuni

This park is enormous! You will need at least 2 hours to walk and see around. Absolutely fell in love with this park. Would be nice to ride a bicycle here! There’s a bus station in the middle of the park so that was convenient

John Wazlawik

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beauty. Ride the horse drawn trolley, stroll the many walking paths or the longest seawall walk in the world. Located just minutes from downtown Vancouver. We bussed from near our hotel to there with ease.

Eva

Got extremely lucky with the beautiful, sunny weather in Vancouver an drove through Stanley Park. It was such a great experience. I took a lot of pictures at the designated stopping points. Would love to come back again in the future and make time to bike around the entire park. Definitely recommend taking the time to at least drive through, if not bike through and have a picnic :)

Khammy Pung

They replaced some play structures recently and it looks really nice, not that previous structure weren't. The day we visit it was a hot and humid day, kids played on all the structures and then went to the splash pads at the park afterwards to cool down. It was a perfect way for the kids to spend the weekend. Also saw these weird wasp, it was a bit over two inches long... not sure if these are the giant asian hornet that are in the news killing off the honey bees... attaching the pic for reference.

Roza A

Nature, beaches and amazing views all in one.

Colin Brander

Beautiful spot. Lots to see and do. It is easily accessible from downtown. The 19 bus terminates near many popular attractions.

Yong Jun Yoo

The most visited place in Vancouver. Every time I go, I feel clean and refreshed.

Cyril Cheung

Aquarium is a pleasure for young families. Please be reminded to pay for parking. We dashed in and got a parking ticket when we came out.

A treasure of Vancouver and very scenic to walk bike ride or drive. Driving can be tricky as for the most part it is only one lane and in summer if there is a horse Carriage it is very slow going. Patience is required when driving around the park. Lots of points of interest and picture taking vistas. Can't miss if visitor to vancouver. For christmas they have a train ride in the evenings for lights. They do this for Halloween as well

Christian Donaldson

Beautiful grassy park surrounded by the Pacific, with ponds, Aquarium, coastal cycle route, public beach and Native Canadian totem poles. A lot of space to explore, well kept and incredibly scenic.

Hesan Pouresmaeili

One of the best parks I've been to worldwide: beautiful sea line and the perfect way to spend your day.

Guillermo Loubriel

We went to the rose garden and to Stanley point using the hop on hop off bus. The views are superb and the rose garden was pretty (we were there September 1st). But with bad knees, it was impossible to see more of the park. We would have had to walk way too much to see more. If you can walk for an hour you may be able to see more. If you have problems walking, plan your visit well.

Cheryl Simpkins

A scenic drive around Stanley Park. Roads are all one way so you are driving the whole Park. Lovely path around the park and great trails for hikers, runners or bikers. Stopped for a bit of sightseeing and photo ops. The aquarium was a great rainy day activity.

Adnan Tanoli

Amazing view, lots of parking, good for an afternoon/evening walk. Make sure you go out when it's not raining....

Vineet Gill

A good place to enjoy the walks, running or biking. For parents please make sure you don’t leave kids unattended as there are no boundary walls. Lovely place for photographers to enjoy the dramatic views.

Abid K

Can’t get enough of this place! Everything from beach to walking trails are amazing. Lots of places around to rent a bike and take a tour of this gorgeous park. Lots of good places to eat around the park. Have fun and enjoy beautiful Vancouver!

BN V

Beautiful park with breathtaking view and scenery. Wonderful for either walking, cycling or even just driving through. There are a few cafes and restaurants too. I forgot the name of the restaurant but it was on the top where you can stand on the hill looking over the ocean and mountain. The food and drink were good at reasonable price. Came here twice and still wanna come back. A must-see place when visiting Vancouver.

Ramon Echavarria

Competing for one of my favorite parks ever due to the simplicity of the trails combined with the wonderful scenery. It ranges from beautiful beaches, serene forests, and an epic bike trail that shows you all of the aforementioned locales. Beaver Lake wasn't anything special and I would've loved to see the flower garden in view. Next time

Angela Woods

Arun Kumar

Number one attraction in Vancouver. Plan for a day here if you want to explore slowly. You can do lots of activities here.

Katherine Au-Yeung

Vow, there's like a flower show, so beautiful. Walking along the different flower bed, smell the freshness & enjoying the sunshine. It's really a good place to relax. You can find the Kids enjoy running about & playing around. There's picnic tables for your convenience. You can ride a bike around too.

Just Juice

Stanley park is too beautiful!!! Great walks for the family!!! Great little golf course, and the horse drawn carriage is a must! Then to top is off, Stanley park has it's own brewery.... What more, could one ask for ????

Logan row

Amazing views, clean location, great location. What more can you ask for? This area is great for activities, sightseeing and enjoying and afternoon walk. The parking is a bit pricey and so is the bike rental, but it’s well worth it if you don’t own a bike. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Sara Guerrero

Stanley Park is all nature. Great family plan. You can see birds, animals, trees and plants. You can find a swim pool inside the park.

J B

Lovely place for walking my pup.

Nadiia Suprun

A great place to have a walk, ride a bike or relax and admire ducks diving into the water. The park is very big so you will need a whole day to see all it's places. Vancouver's aquarium is located in Stanley Park.

Ladan Tavakoli

The perfect walk all along the seawall and the magnificent scenery. I do recommend this place to everyone visiting or want to get a break from their nearest park :-) using their map was easy, finding washrooms, concessions and place to rest is easy all along the seawall. The bike road seemed to be a bit narrow at some parts though I was walking.

Lukas Le

The biggest park I’ve ever visited. You should spend a whole day going around this park.

Luke and kenzie off road adventures

I love this place there is never a boring day in Stanley Park. Beautiful friendly people everywhere.. I definitely recommend spending the morning walking the trails and the hitting up the aquarium

Jessica Turcotte

Perfect place to take the kids sledding.

Nida Khawaja

If you are visiting Vancouver, Stanley Park is a must. The scenery and city views are just amazing and there are plenty of places to take photographs. They are many different types of restaurants with all types of cuisines. The Rose garden was beautiful and the infrastructure of the surrounding buildings were stunning. I am a water lover so being by the waterside was awesome. It was busy but not noisy at all. Great for couples, families and kids. You can rent bikes here, parking you have to pay for. Lots to do and see. There is a lot of walking so I'd suggest comfortable shoes. Highly recommended on my list of places to see in British Columbia. Will a few pictures, have a lot more but a must see for yourself.

Chelle B

This park is great speaking as a tourist, as the views from every side are beautiful. It takes a while to walk around the park but it's worth it if the time is available. They also have bikes available to ride around the park and it's great that they have two separate paths so the cyclists and people walking don't interfere with each other. 4 stars because we started at prospect point and it was a little difficult to find the path down to the seawall.

bhavna verma

Brilliant lush green park with water on your sides right in the middle(well almost) of the city. Has something to offer for everyone. Can easily spend the entire day here.

Lisa Jay

Great place to spend the day or even just going for a scenic drive - Pay parking for the entire park but you pay once and you can park anywhere, by laws is usually present so be aware of stopping in the parking lot to run to use the bathrooms - Aquarium is great but you get a better deal purchasing online - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd beaches are all great places to stop for a picnic - Lumberman's Arch is awesome as there is a water park for the kids, kids dryer has been non functioning for decades, washrooms are a little gross sometimes - Concession stands are ok when needed - The drive around the park is fantastic for those who have never been, the scenery is amazing - Bike, walk or rollerblade but be aware as some people are not courteous

Aasiya Satia

A wonderful place to cycle around. Very family friendly for young children and bike beginners. Very scenic and worth stopping a many points including water fountains, splash pads and play areas for children. Nice eating places for snacking and washrooms.

Rick C

breathtaking! the seawall bike ride is a must! be sure to charge up your phone prior. the pathways are clean and the grounds are kept well. the smell of ocean breeze is unforgetful! will miss this place.

ji ng

An amazing city park in Peaceful Vancouver, BC. Definitely offers various easy-hiking and cycling trails. Make sure to stop by prospect point to see Lion gate bridge. BTW, Tea House is a nice place to enjoy your fall afternoon with unbelievable ocean view.

Ryan J.

A must see location full of history and amazing views. I took a biking tour here which only added to my experience. I highly recommend visiting with a tour to learn about the deep history of the park and the rich native culture. The forest itself is extremely serene and beautiful and is easily accessible from the city.

H Lassardo

Best place in Trenton for sledding for all ages!

Tanya Manion

My grandson Oliver ???? and I had the best time and adventures xo

Doug

What a beautiful place right on the edge of the city. It's a great place for walking and there are a few restaurants. It's a must see if visiting Vancouver.

Daryl Alberts

Paul Julian

Absolutely beautiful. Stanley Park is massive, and the perfect place to go biking. You get an amazing view of the city of Vancouver, and North Vancouver as you travel around Stanley Park. There is tons of wildlife you will come across. If you are visiting Vancouver for the first time this is a must see place! Do not pass the opportunity to see how beautiful this park is.

Vera Krajic

Stanley Park as always has so much to offer. Views that are breathtaking, forest trails, and right now the baby boom is taking place. Lots of fluffy baby geese. Be careful of the very protective parents. I'm sure the baby raccoons shall be making their appearance as well. Enjoy.

Stephanie McInnes

Tim McBride

Good pitch and putt, longest hole is 100 yards to the centre of green. $15 to play a single game, 2 hours to get round on a slowish day. Enough variation to keep it interesting coming back every week or two over summer

Paloma Arts

My first time in Vancouver and my colleagues kept recommending that I go to Stanley park by the sea. So we went and took a walk and then we drove by the ocean. Its an amazing view . Really. Long trail to do some biking or jogging as well.

Julie Hagner

Stanley park was amazing! The horse carriage tour was very informative. The trail around Stanley park was well marked and easy to follow. We took an hour to bike around the entire park. (Could have been shorter but we attempted a tandem bike)

Joban Hundal

One of my favorite place to visit in Vancouver, so calming and relaxing environment

Baldeep Dhillon

I love this park. Love biking the seawall, love Siwash Rock, love second beach, love the trails and the gardens, love lost lagoon, just everything about it. -1 star for colonialism, who the f is Stanley and who the f cares, this park should be named after the original, rightful occupants who were forcibly removed.

Antonio Neri

It's a nice place specially if you like to walk. There is an aquarium which was a very educational place to visit and a couple of places to eat. Worth a visit if you are a tourist and like walking as an exercise.

Joe Lewis

I go to Stanley Park on the weekend it has a lot of trees and second beach is right at davie and denman and during the summer you will have street performers doing there things and if you walk further down the beach you will get to the outdoor swimming pool where people can go swimming and the concessions stand is located close to the pool but the food is expensive and so is the parking there are some really good places to visit including the Vancouver aquarium, the totem poles the rose garden the lighthouse and take a ride on a horse drive carriage or you can walk around the seawall if you have the time all in all its a place worth checking out if you have never seen it before.

Jennifer Love

Beautiful spot. We go for the off leash dog park. The only thing that isn't fantastic is the fact that cyclists ride their bikes through the dog park which has signs posted stating no bikes allowed. It's dangerous and disrespectful given there aren't many dog parks and it's a short distance to walk.

Georgina Neave

What a beautiful park to have so close to the city - a true haven, the park is huge with such beautiful walks and vistas of the skyline. The park also houses the aquarium. Highly recommended.

cathcartsquare

Located in New Edinburgh next to the Rideau River, Stanley Park is a very beautiful spot to visit. Unfortunately, overflowing garbage containers that are not emptied regularly and other trash scattered in the green spaces by some park users are problematic.

Yumake L

We live in a concrete jungle. It’s so nice to see Vancouver has a huge park, untouched by urban sprawl. Nature and beauty is all around. There’s even an aquarium and a miniature train ride. There’s something for the whole family at Stanley Park. We enjoyed watching the sunset at Third Beach. There’s even a 8 km sea wall which one can walk, bike or jog around. This is a must visit for residents and tourists alike. Please remember to use common sense and leave valuables out of sight and locked up in the car.

Elaine

Beautiful park in the middle of the city. Only down side is pay parking within the park which kept our exploring to a minimum.

Arthur Michielsen

A Grace

Beautiful BIG park. Lovely for strolling. The sea wall is wonderful. The totem poles are fun. I wish I lived there too enjoy it every day.

Roger Martel

Gorgeous place to visit views of the Ottawa river and the Laurentian's in the back ground... nice wide walkways and bicycle lanes.. all around fun place.

Bogdan Marin

Very nice place easy to acces, with old forest, beaches, nice views to the city and lions bridge.

Tom Orr

Aaron Braddy

Lovely park with gorgeous views of Vancouver. Lots of nice and well kept trails throughout park. Lakes were really scenic. In combination with a trip to the aquarium we spent most of the day here!

Mankanwar Singh

Beautiful scenery. Must visit with family and bring food to eatgreat

denis brideau

Good place for the kids to slide

Ben Schmidt

We took the kids to the aquarium. We arrived early and had our choice of parking spaces. We were lucky because we were able to see the octopus. I didn't know there were Reef Sharks so that was cool. We had a snack and explored the outside exhibits. My son loved the dolphin and my daughter thought the sea lion was really cool. wee had lunch, the BLT wad ok and my wife had the veggie burger. I was surprised to see alcohol being served. Overall it was a great visit.

Meaghan Bhim

Beautiful park. We were hesitant to go because of the coyote attacks but couldn't leave Vancouver without a visit. Walked some of the seawall, checked out a play structure, and walked a few trails.

Vaishnavi Gattu

The best place to stroll in the evening, especially on sunny days. Many places to explore around and inside the park..if you love cycling or photography or just walking, Stanley park is your favorite go-to place????

Chris Cullen

I find it incredible that you can walk into the woods & forget you are in the middle of a large city. Loved the view across to the Olympic mtns. Good exercise while walking around the park ant taking everything in.

Melissa Ling

This place is a wonderful place to take a walk in! I visited Vancounver for a couple days and found this area so peaceful and with the best sights. There is an area to walk and bike on along the water where you can see all of Vancouver’s buildings. There are also many places to picnic, to play on the playground, to browse through rose gardens, and more! I loved the totem poles attraction a little farther up and the lighthouse on the other side. I would recommend biking along the trail if you aren’t much of a walker.

Krista Bryden

Great park with lotsa room and various terrain for fun with the hound dawgs. Even with the construction is relatively a non issue with enjoymentbof the park grounds and has been fenced well to keep a safe barrier between construction zones and public usage. All the dogs i know...and their people too..have great fun there!

Lancelot Williams

Would have loved this park for sledding as a kid.

Armaan Ladha

Big lovely park to bike around or go for a long stroll. Did two loops, about 20 km total and took about 3 hours to enjoy the views too. Highly recommended as one of the best things to do in Vancouver.

Nikki Kell

Chris Ling

Truly an Alice in Wonderland experience! During the day there is an ocean of things to explore, sandy beaches with sculptured shells, bike trails through amazing forestry, culinary delights from every corner of this cultured planet. International peeps relaxing and enjoying the Sun and all its attributes. Definitely one of the natural wonders of Vancouver that will take your breath away! If ever in Vancouver it is a "must place" to visit.

Patricia Ingley

Went tobogganing with the kids...hills are perfect length and kids had a blast!

Nataliia C.

Great deal of walking. Park is immense. If by bicycle for example, you will see much much more. No way you will make it far by walking

Victor F

A hidden gem perfect for families and the individual alike. Very modern and progressive in terms of play structure design. It encourages kids to get creative and problem solve in order to get around. Also has a comprehensive sandpit, nice swings, and an adjacent splash pad to keep the kiddos cool in the summer.

Stephanie Faludi

Beautiful walk, had a great time! Go for a walk, a bike ride, a picnic and I encourage you to take the time to read the plaques to learn about some of Canada's history.

Val Shaw

Park itself is beautiful, we parked in a spot, no visible signs near our spot not yo park, but we got a ticket for parking which was designated for busses apparently, it was a regular size lot too. The bike lanes are also too much. We found that cyclists just pop in and out of them at will. So be careful!

lisa spearing

Alexis Elisee

Needs more play structures

Mark24XX

Had an awesome time at the aquarium. There is lots of cool fish to see. Lots of jellyfish on display. The training shows they do with the sea lions are very fun to watch. They also make a big emphasis on minimizing pollution with examples of how plastic and waste can affect aquatic life. You can ask the people that work there lots of questions as well. They are very knowledgeable and show a great passion for what they do. Definitely check this place out if you are visiting Stanley park.

Trevor Merrall

A nice place to go for a walk.

Niki Pareek

It's always wonderful to visit Stanley park. As you can have beach experience+ swimming pool + lush green walks+ ducks play and watch+slides & swings. Nice walk from second beach to English bay.

Sharmas

Prospect Point - Stanley Park A great getaway OR Walking Trails OR Jogger's/Cycling place. Reaching and parking isn't a problem and one can spend like infinite time on these. Kids love the ice cream cones and place full of nature. We spent almost half a day there. For me specifically was a short trip and being Albertan i enjoyed it so much an ample nature full lush green lawns with blossoming flower beds calling you with hands full of life. I loved our visit. Must visit place!!!

Sixty Below

Always a beautiful place to go visit. And now there is a bar that serves drinks right in back of National Geographic

Jorge Garcia R.

Stanley park has great views and it's a good place to go hiking or biking. I really liked the area of the lighthouse because you can se the bridge from far away and take great poctures. Really nice place to see some totem poles too. The roads are full of trees and plants. Highly recommend this park!

Omid Sh

Amazing place, you can walk, bike, or drive to see different parts of this park.

Erik

It’s a very nice and clean park and is a great way for a quick break from the brick and steel of downtown. I would recommend finding a bike share in town and then bike down and through the park. It’s well worth the small fare and will save you a lot of time even getting there. You have to rent 30 minutes at a time which I though was weird, but it’s doable. The Aquarium is a short walk from the entrance of the park. Also, if you get a taxi they have to go all the way around the park before heading back to the city which will double your fare. Either walk to the entrance or somewhere where it’s a two way so that they can keep the ride shorter.

Ronald LeBlanc

Fabulous place to visit. Something for everyone. The totems were amazing. Walked much of the sea wall and even picked a few shells up. The aquarium and the train were very cool attractions to see. The beaches were not too crowded.

Valerie Fox

Awesome beach and snak bar. Better than Wasaga Beach. Lots of parking.

Zhongwen Qi

large area for dogs to have fun

Ronan Joseph

Great bike and walking paths with many viewpoints. Busy on weekends and holidays during good weather. Takes around 2 hours to bike the perimeter of the park at a relaxed/moderate pace.

Jerry Blaha

Beautiful park! Place is massive and you need a full day to take it all in. Rent a bike and have a ride around the sea wall, you’ll love it. Highly recommend to see this park while you’re in Vancouver.

Vanessa Bassole

A must see when you visit Vancouver. Since we were there on the weekday during covid 19 there weren’t that many people. The park is big and very beautiful. The seawall trail will take you around 2-2h30 (if you take your time) and the views are really nice.

Justin Wischer

Great place to spend a day. Nice beaches, good for walking and biking the sea wall is amazing as is the forest paths

Simran Singh

Amazing place to visit, have majestic views of mountains, beach, parks, rent cycles or walk across the whole loop (around 9km's). Place is full of scenic beauty and you need good camera to capture it. Parking is bit costlier around 7 dollars for winter season and 13 dollars for summers as of year 2017. Washrooms needs cleaning, apart from this, i recommended this place a must visit if you are coming to Vancouver.

Johnny Choi

Just amazing. The best part about visiting Vancouver!

Art Booker

Nice challenging course for the novice

Michelle Murphy

Deanna Risi

This was a very nice, scenic park. If you walk the entire perimeter, it is about 10km so pack food and water accordingly. It is surrounded by water so it is quite nice.

Anne Larocque

Beautiful path in Central Ottawa, along the Ottawa River. Easy, paved path to navigate.

J L

I love this park. You can see beautiful sunset from the third beach. It would even be better if parking is cheaper

Mapolenka S

One of my favourite parks. Nice walk, nature, view of Vancouver. You could buy coffee, souvenirs or enjoy the view

T C

If you are looking for a quiet place where to feel as if you were miles away from the city, this is the place. You can easily spend a day here relaxing on the beach, exploring the woody trails or walking along the seawall path.

Pat S

Great park with a variety of things to do. Although pretty busy, the park is big and can accommodate alot of people.

L Kerek

It is a beautiful place to walkthrough, so much to see and do. But, there's a have warning about Coyotes do not cross the warning lines the Coyotes keep in the thick part of the park. It is a very nice walk along the outer part of the park. Enjoy!!

Syed Ansar

There is lot to explore there, unfortunately during our visit aquarium was closed for renos maybe but otherwise little train ride/tour is very informative, outdoor pool on the beach was amazing, lots of fun , good place for walking, jogging or bicycling

Pour Punk

Had a coffee date here and met the mist amazing person in my life. Hard to not like this place after that!

Stan Levenger

Amazing Park with abundant things to do. Many walking/hiking trails on the coast and in the amazing forest. Great views from the coast of the harbor and surrounding mountains. Highly recommend the Tea Room restaurant for not only food but amazing service. The reason for the 4 is parking and costs. Parking is expensive and a bit lacking in availability. Make sure that you do not let your paid parking period expire...$40.00 fine. Was in the Tea Room restaurant and ran over by 15 minutes. Made for an expensive lunch with the extra $40.00.

Yvonne Stobbart

The walk through different locations of the park were very scenic. There was a (homeless?) man at one of the lookouts was yelling at us for whatever reason we don't know, we didn't let that bother us. I had icecream at this lookouts is was soooo good!. The Park is definitely a place to visit!

Chris Baullin

A nice place to visit if you are around Vancouver, is a must when it comes to culture and nature, the totems are about 30mns walk, but it worth the view by the pier and pictures of the boats.

Alex Kasacous

One of the world's nicest parks. Seriously you cannot take a bad photo here, just point your camera and take a shot. Plenty of places here to make you feel 1000 miles from anywhere, but only minutes from the city.

Zelimir Bauk

Wanted to see this park as a tourist, and was not disappointed. The whole loop around the park took us a few hours but was well worth it, I think it was called the seawall trail. Breathtaking views on all sides, plenty of wildlife, and it's nice that they have a separate bike path for the bikers. Parking was a little on the pricey side (~$15), but that's to be expected. I would definitely come back here again.

Chad Avery

Nice area with lots of trees, water feature and wildlife

Bobo Dultmica

Great for sledding in the winter

Aadvik Saini

Very good experience fun for kids and adults. That also have a big pool for kids to play in.
