I went to Vanier Sugar Festival almost two weeks ago! It was awesome! The indigenous people's crafts were cool; stages and musics in the big tent were truly impressed; it was the first time I had ever seen maple trees and sap buckets; and farm animals and sledge dogs were genuinely cute! I saw a dog with odd eyes. I will never forget this festival! The size was a bit smaller than my expectation though. ????

Quaint little park. Great for dogs, kids, joggers, or whatever else! There's a 1km-ish trail through the forest, an open field to play in. It's a shame the sugar Shack was burned down, but if they get it built back up this is definitely a gem in the city.

This is by far my favorite park simply because it is a few meters from where I live. It is near the Vanier Public Library and the Richelieu Community Center. While it is green in the spring and during the summer, it is white during the winter. It offers a calm environment where one can think, recollect, and meditate.

The park is beautiful and safe. Very intentitive and helpful staff at the library. Always fun things to do in the park with many cool groups sponsored by the city of Ottawa regularly meeting there. Staff and frequenters of the park are largely bilingual.
