Its quiet and perfect for a few hours out! Not too far from the lake and nice to go for a walk around the neighborhood too. Will definitely be back!

Stopped by here to watch the sunset on a Saturday evening. It was not that busy at that time and my toddler loved the adventure playground. It is a big, wooden structure that has a castle feel to it. I was glad it was not busy when we went. With the high wooden frames of the playground, it would be easy to lose him if there were lots of kids. I had trouble tracking him behind the maze of walls and had to keep circling around the playground to keep my eye on him. The actual park area is not that big, but there is access to a lower area by the water down a few steps. My son enjoyed skipping rocks there. I don't believe you can easily access the beach area from the park. There are also picnic tables set up around and a small gazebo. Definitely great for kids and families. Street parking available all over.

Seems like an okay part, reasonably taken care of. When we were there there was a festival going on which seemed to be the main thing this park is used for.

Nice small city side park at this spot. The water is a visible from a stairs that go to the water. Clear water and slabs of stone under the water. Good small park but hey, why go here when you have sandbanks twenty minutes away. Recommended

The park brings back so many childhood memories of going to feed the ducks but sadly that's all that seems to be now...just a memory. The parks just seems so run down now.

This is a great park with an amazing view. Kids can be creative and explore through a play structure that is built with natural materials and will challenge your little ones of different ages. My son loves this park, we can easily spent 2 hours here and he still won't wanna leave at the end. ????

Great views of Lake Ontario. Quite a lot of picnic benches with well maintained restrooms. Good spot for some good pictures. Coolest spot when the weather is hot. You'll understand this once you get there.

Unusually large and developed play structure with the beautiful backdrop of Lake Ontario and sections for both little and big kids. The ground is wood chips, and the material is wood and synthetics. Tunnels, a fort, multiple slides, split levels, stairs, swings and everything.

I don't review parks because a park is a park is a park. Except in Wellington. This is a great little activity centre with many fun things for kids from 2 to 14. Worth the visit.

This park is so nice to have a relaxing lunch just watching the geese and the seagulls play. I love to walk through here on nice days and in the fall as the leaves change color. Such a beautiful place. Kept clean.

One of the nicest child playgrounds I've ever seen!! It's huge! Built out of solid wood, lots of places to explore and climb, and even has a 'boat'. Loved the pirate vibes - highly recommend if you have kids!

Nice little park in the heart of Wellington... You can go to the shore of Lake Ontario. There are also play structures for kids to play on.

Nice park, it was full of snow when I went there 2021 Feb, so I was mostly alone in the park. It got Pavilion, washrooms (closed during pandemic), pirate themed playground that has like sunken boat; got slides, swings, kids would love to play on it. There's also a BBQ facility and a viewing deck for great view of Lake Ontario. There were lots of geese even with few white geese, all swimming and quacking near the shore. There's a stair so you can go to the shoreline, would be nice on warmer weather. Enjoy!

Pretty good experience. Try to keep your distance from the geese though, they will hiss at you if you get too close. Also, don't feed the ducks or the geese as the police monitor the area and there are signs telling you not to do so in the first place.

I've attended most of the concerts in the park in Wellington this summer and experienced some of the best music to be had anywhere. What delightful evenings by the lake listening to local talent, relaxing in a lawn chair and all free of charge. They even throw in free hot dogs and drinks. The Lions club should be very proud of their accomplishments. Thank you Lion's club and all the local talent that performed this summer.
