You definitely need to be an Oro Medonti resident or you could face a $60 fine for parking there. Plus there is lots of goose poop everywhere.

Park is great, but local authorities are real vermins. Despite COVID-19 phase 2, they still "disallow" access to park for non-local residents. In practice, it takes shape of issuing $60 parking infractions to any non-local visitors. Forget about restricting park capacity or enforcing social distancing - cash grab is all they care about. I wish they could be banned from visiting GTA in retaliation.

Bayview Memorial Park has done a number of upgrades to improve the recreational area. The maintenance team continually ensures that the park is in great shape for guests and local residents

Been there 3 times this season. Beach with good landscaping, grass, sand, relatively clean facilities. Excellent place for kids, with playground near the water. Part of the water is rocky, so make sure to find the place to go into the water through the sand.

This is one of the few accessible parks in the community. We take our daughter who is in a wheelchair, and she loves to be part of the park and stay close to her younger brother.....plus the beach. It's our summer goto.

I was amazed. It's my first time here accidentally. It's fantastic sunset. I took a lots of pictures and videos. The park is wonderful. There's a clean sand beach. There are two big pavilions for picnic and kid's day camp. The picnic tables are arranged neatly. The landscaping is amazing, wood bridge over the creek, mature trees, winding paths. There is a unpaved parking lot and a public washroom. Also there's a basketball pad and a playground.

Great place for a day at the beach, but parking currently only available for residents of Oro-Medonte with a municipality issued parking pass. Parking seemed heavily enforced with ticketing.

Small but clean beach, perfect for families. Washrooms are clean too. Best time to be there is early to secure a table and a good shadow. Also, while you are there keep in mind the neighbors and please keep your speakers at a decent level ;)

Went on a Sunday, Parking was $20 and you have to pay for the day. Nice little park on the lake, water was clean and shallow, nice and safe for the kids. There's was also a small pond near the parking lot where kids were trying to net minnows. Facilities included a decent sized jungle gym and a disgusting bathroom.

I'll never go back to this ungrateful town or the park. I pulled into the Memorial Park to see what it was about. Had to walk threw 30-40 sea gals to dip my feet in the water. We used the washroom after being there 10 minutes and the park staff that were parked in the lot gave us a ticket, yet there were no signs for paid parking where we were. Maybe they should spend more time cleaning up the area instead of chatting in their trucks. Time of day was 8:30 pm 22 July 2019. Tax dollars hard at work.

Nice park and beach. Very clean and safe. Perfect place to spend some great time with family or friends. The paring for local residents is free. If you're visiting and outside of the 'local free parking' and know someone who is just make sure that they'll drive you there to avoid the parking fee. If you don't know anyone, you'll have to pay. But even if you have to pay, the place is well worth the price.

Park is good but non-residents are not welcomed. Pure discrimination. Last year in the peak of Covid, it was possible to park the car far and walk 15 minutes. This year at stage 3 of province opening, they put no parking and parking by permission in every single street and no one can park in 5 Km radius of the beach. Covid at this point is an excuse. It is to make the beach private for the residents and greed to fine cars $60.

Unfortunately the park was filthy. Littered with feces all over the grass. Garbage bins were overflowing. The washrooms were locked and the portolet was so disgusting. Very unfortunate because it's a great little beach and park. We packed up and left after an hour in search of a cleaner Park.
