Wonderful area to hike, cycle, run, stroll, or just sit by the creek. Some good mountain bike trails too; just make sure you select them according to your skill and cardio strength, as some of them are very steep.

A nice place to visit with family and kids. Please note Dogs are NOT permitted in the baseball Diamond area so please stay away from on that zone, rest all are fine for leased dogs. It is NOT a leashfree park. Beautiful flower island and many benches to sit around and relax. Parking is easy. Overall a good experience.

Maple Maelstrom

Maybe not a place to go out of your way to visit, buy definitely something for those in the area. The splash pad is great for cooling off in the summer while the play structure is great for titing out kids or hanging out with friends.

Better than millbank park. More seating under shade, similar play structures, and similar splash pad. The shade seating makes this better! Kid loved both, so both have fun factors but from a parent side, this is nicer.

Showcase town planning of road/park/mountain. Toddler zone, kid zone, splash park, benches. Group of four 8-seat picnic tables under rain-proof gazebo. Wasps pour from open-top garbage bins. Clean, bright, modern and safe. Police often sit on parking lot. Climbing tower is older kids' evening hangout. Full-size baseball park adjoins huge, manicured field. Raised gardens have colorful annuals. Inexpensive sushi on north side, Dairy Queen and Tim Hortons 3-minutes walk north.

Nice little water park, i would say for little kids who want to cool down in the hot summer days. Water is too cold tgough eveb on the hottest of days but every park is like that. Park is around 5 years old if memory serves me right. Connected to baseball field so there is some greenery and running room.

I like the cherry tree here, even only three, but very close to my home and less people, parking is free, best choice if you want to take some cherry photo in May.
