A tranquil square with a monument of war. Nice place for a walk.

Large open space with wide paved paths weaving around and throughout. Playground with washrooms. An area with private gardening plots that is quite nice. Duck ponds and a bridge to walk over. Two dog parks, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The park is surrounded by significant development. There is highway noise from Dundas Street. The grounds were well maintained when I visited in June.

Its a fun park, a bit dangerous if you have small kids as there is a lot of construction around and large vehicles/trucks/diggers left closeby at day's end.

This is a great area that seems to just be getting better! There is currently an off-leash area for dogs, a playground (which has incredibly springy ground under it), and a community garden. The garden seems to be popular as there are many plants growing. Although I have only walked through the area, all of these seem to be in good condition. There is another section in development still, but if I recall correctly it will have an area for basketball as well as some games tables under a bit of shelter. Overall, the area is wonderful as is, but it appears it will only be getting better in the future.
