We had not heard of this place until it was featured on a local news show. Views are spectacular! You can drive up to the small parking area, but for the full experience park at McNeil Bay and walk up the steep yet short trail from Transit Road (look for the Centennial Trail marker beside the driveway to 545 Transit). It's well worth the effort Not much there except rocks, wildflowers, and a couple of benches, but for a commanding view it can't be beat.

A great little park just of off the main scenic waterfront drive. This is not a park that is accessible though other then the parking lot area. There is a formal staircase to the beach and then you are on natural trails and gravel. 2 old chairs that have been placed for everyone's enjoyment as well as a picnic table on the main islet. Careful of hightide or you are walking a very narrow strip of land!!

Not a bad little walk. A bit of an incline and rocky, not an ideal walk for mobility issues. Has a great shortcut to the waters edge, and nestled amongst a very lovely community. Not much to do in the park itself, but great location.

Great panoramic views. There are a few different ways to access this park, one of which is directly from Beach Drive at a small brown sign that says "Top-o-Hill"... and 2 more official entrances from either side. Couple of benches.

What a beautiful park for a walk. It's a little rough for a baby carriage, but still doable with a jogger type. The view of McNeil Bay is breathtaking in any weather or season. It's a Gary Oak meadow and in the spring the carpet of Erithronium or White Fawn Lilies is lovely. Plenty of benches to sit on. The park can be accessed from a few different directions.

This area should be cleaned enough. I don't know everywhere there is a bad smell that I couldn’t tolerate. This place is very beautiful but It's dirty and specially the smell.

Rocky windswept park overlooking the ocean. The paths are rough and uneven so this would be difficult for some with disabilities. There is limited parking near the entrance and frequent benches to rest at. No washrooms here but fantastic views over the strait.

We visited the beach south of the park. Parked the car on the south side of Beach Drive. There were people sunning themselves in Adirondack chairs atop the outcrop that juts out into the bay, overlooking the Trial Islets. They seemed to enjoy themselves. There was plenty of room. We could have brought our chairs and got takeout from one of these cafes on Oak Bay Avenue just 5 minutes away. Next time...

Chill location and interesting for its history. The walk from the parking area to the lookout point is short and fairly easy. A few areas in the small parking space are a little rocky.

It isn't the most accessible spot for tourists in Victoria, but the views here are pretty good. Bring a jacket if you aren't used to ocean breezes! There are edible berries and a golf course nearby. It is a great spot for the sunset but I'd say the Ogden pier is better. There aren't many people here (probably because there are no buses nearby).
