Large sites and very private. Lovely trails but could do with more maintenance. Showers could also do with some bleaching and paint. In all wad worth the visit

SITES YOU MIGHT WANT: If you have a tent: sites 42-31 or for a bit more shade you might want site 1-9 If you have a camper or more than 2 people: sites 56-82 because there is a bit more space If you have kids: sites 10-28 are good because there are near the playground and by the good bathrooms incase your children are scared of outhouses + there is usually lots of other children that are usually nice that can become friends with yours (:

Matthew Gates

Very nice provincial park, spent the weekend with family. Camp sites a good size, well maintained and are a nice distance apart. There are some nice nature trails right in the park some that lead to very nice beaches. Fire wood was $5 for 15 peices of softwood. Bugs are a little thick as others have mentioned so bring some bug spray, better at certain times of the year I'm sure. Great spot to spend a weekend, we will probably be back in the future! Provincial Parks are a great thing to support.

Devin Wiles

Amazing long beach with good parking and amenities.

Lori Wilson

The beaches are gorgeous, the camp feels friendly. The bathrooms are icky. And the boil water order makes camping a bit more difficult

Jonathan DeRouchie

Shane Patelakis

Fantastic place to hike, trail run along the coast

Finlay Maguire

Great group camp sites with robust fire pit, toilet facilities, and wood for sale. Very nice beaches and coastal swimming, the trails themselves within the park are a bit short and uninteresting.

Richard Tousignant

Beautiful campground, huge sites, really nice hiking trails and a perfect Beach.

Mallory Layton

Adrian Shields

One of our favourite South shore stops!

Liked the place, quiet!

Olivier

Great installation, just hate the long gravel road :/ But a lot of wood, camp site are very clean otherwise. Watch out for bear and your food ;)

Jessica Goodwin

Love Thomas Radall. Great beaches around the park. Some nice shallow ones for kids to splash and play at. There is a nice boardwalk to the day beach. The campground is set in a long way. The sites are very spacious. And spaced apart a good distance. A more relaxed and private feeling campground than most. There is a comfort station with showers and a dishwashing station. The keji seaside adjunct is only a few minutes away. Great place to explore via kiak

First visit of many

Glenna Brown

Beautiful, spacious and clean sites. We had site 8 and it was tucked in a woody area. The local beaches are amazing.

Rhea Dawn Mahar

Several beaches. Private sites. Only lacks laundry facility .

Katelyn Pike

Not me

Really nice. Deep camp sites and beach/trails close by. Firewood was $5 for 12 logs which is cheap. Garbage bins and water are spaced a bit far apart but not too bad. Outhouses for bathrooms. Really liked the campground

Dale Fevens

Great campground!

Shawna Jefferson

Rachel Cherry-Brannen

Bugs bugs and more bugs! Other than always having to swat away these buggers on the walk in, the history and protected beach were wonderful! The piping plovers are so sweet, the seals and cormorants were neat too! A fun place for exploring and the geology was surprisingly diverse!

I am new to Camping as we bought our camper this summer but Thomas Radell is the best park around. My family love the quietness and the big camping area

Krista Whitehouse

Found some great camping sites in here while we visited for a picnic. No power but great for tenting. We would definitely come back again but probably in the later end of summer. We were there in the middle of summer and the mosquitos were going to carry us away. Brutal. However, as I sad, we found some great sites, so I think camping would be fun there. Very well laid out and maintained.

Nadine Bierworth- Bourque

The sites I was able to look in all seemed big and private.

Soleil Chahine

A really great campsite! We were there on a rainy weekend, so we didn't run into any ticks. The location is right by clean, white sandy beaches (5 minute walk from our site (#79). The campsites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits. The check-in area has drinking water (unfortunately the taps near the campsites have high bacteria levels and are unsafe for drinking), ice, and firewood. There was an outhouse right across from our campsite, which was very clean and convenient. Near the middle of the campsite, there is a comfort station to wash dishes and shower. Overall a great experience. The staff working there were not very friendly and seemed understaffed.

Seth Chauvin

10?10 Great park would highly recommend it

Kc Malone

Beautiful park. I stayed at a group site, but hope to go back and check out a walk in site. With three beaches, over 11k worth of trails and keji seaside nearby there is lots to do. I'm grateful for the shelter with wood stove that was near the group site, as it rained for 60 of the 70 hours we were there. Birders haven! (Sorry my pics aren't the best)

Chris Morris

Beautiful beaches in the area. No services sites which is the reason for the lower rating. NS needs more serviced campgrounds.

Bob Reimer

Great place to go to if you want privacy

Julie Johnson

Beautiful park, spacious sites, nice walj trails

Lisa Leimanis

Good for bicycles and very calm water beaches. There aren't very many bathrooms and the number of mosquitos made it un-fun. Talking swarms.

Lex Lyon

There is no such thing as a bad site at this park good hiking trails, and good biking. There are also good beaches there to.

Allan Cardinal

Great park with trails and fantastic beaches. Seen all kinds of wildlife including deer rabbits harbour seals birds and evudence if bear

Heather MacIntyre

Bugs were insane but such a beautiful place to camp. Sites had alot of privacy and just a short walk to the water for sunrise and sunset. Saw a seal hanging out on the rocks on the beach!

Anne Boylen

Beautiful oceanside beach at the day use area. Walk to the right along the beach through the rocks, another looking expanse of beach to enjoy. Nice large, private and clean campsites. Friendly, helpful staff. Great place to camp!

Dawn MacMillan

Absolutely beautiful park and white sandy beaches. The staff was so friendly. I only wish we could have spent more time there!

Charlotte Evans

I love this campground and the beaches surrounding it were beautiful. The bathroom showers were gross though and had little worm-like things crawling all over them. So I would say go here for a great camping trip , but skip the showers.

Walter Lowe

Megan VanderWal

Harris Kagan

Great primitive camping - try to get site 69 - it's the only one with an ocean view! Fabulous!

Jake Buchanan

The best provincial park in Nova Scotia. Stunningly beautiful beaches, usually virtually empty so very private!

Allan Melvin

Nice large quiet sites with sandy coastal beaches within the park.

Amy Scott

This is one of our favourite campgrounds. Although, we had many concerns about how prepared they were for opening weekend. Things such as having no ice and the state of the washrooms. They were very clean but a coat of paint in the showers and in rusty areas would be a welcome site. Also the slide at the children's playground has never been replaced. I'm sure these things may be due to budget restraints but you pay the same fee as you do mid summer so everything should be in the best shape possible and all amenities available.

Tamara robinson

The sites were fine. The beach was amazing and we could even see seals swimming nearby. The showers however need alot of tlc.

Kari Blaikie

Kiril Strax

A little dusty ride towards it, but the beach is well worth it.

Bijish Ned

Diane Northway

Great campground with private, well treed camp sights. Great walks around and nice beaches. I would come back again.

Nicholas Beynon

Great Beach for young kids as it's warm, Sandy and very shallow.

Mick Shea

What a park. Super nice and you get to see some seals on the rocks off shore. Not too long and well maintained.

Barb Bassett

Daniel Mark Wheaton

Great park! One of my favorites. Gets cool at night sometimes with the fog, but a great place to be when the rest of the province is in a heat wave! Awesome beaches with lots of wildlife, deer, rabbits, seals, hawks, etc.

Rhonin McCauley

Absolutely beautiful

Jacob MacPherson

Loved this campground the sites were huge tent friendly and fairly private and I even seen one of their reported black bears on the entry road just before the office

Easy cycling trails

Vincent Smith

Great beaches. Big lots. Tons of mosquitoes.

Tim MacLeod

Great campground with 10 walking trails throughout. Most sites are secluded from thier neighbors and are set up so that you have privacy from the road. Comfort station with a dishwashing spot is central in the area we stayed, clean bathrooms and showers. The beach is perfect for children as it's shallow and goes out very far (still shallow). Nice and sandy with lots of area to set up for the day or just a quick cool down.

Brent Spindler

Campsites are spacious and private. The many beaches are excellent, which allows for lots of space on the sand. However, the trails need work. Ones near the shore are fine, but the inland ones were overgrown in many places.

Beautiful provincial park with lots of camping on large semi private lots. camp there often. no electric hookups or water hookups. water taps are located in many spots along the roads nice hiking trails and friendly staff

Taylor Callan

Best campsite I have been to. Prefer this park much more than Keji. The sites are more heavily wooded, so it feels more like camping. There are endless amounts of trails, and the beach is beautiful.

(Translated) A great beautiful campsite. Large, well-spaced sites. Proximity to other National and Provincial Parks. Only problem ... The showers lack love and it has crawling insects that have taken up residence there ... (Original) Un super de beau camping. Grands sites bien espacés. Secluded large sites.and nice beach...but a tremendous amount of dead trees. I don't know if Nova Scotia just doesn't clean there forests but it truly was one of the worst that I've ever stayed at for enjoying the beauty of nature.

Nice campground but far out of the way

Sandra Eagle

The Campground is private, the beaches are beautiful white sands!

Jay DeWolfe

The water in the camp ground was bad this year, 2018 (good water admin office and group campground) but the beaches and camp sites are amazing and more than make for the inconvenience.

(Translated) A nice park for hiking and camping. Highly recommended is a trip to the nearby National Park. (Original) Ein schöner Park zum Wandern und Campen. Empfehlenswert ist auch ein Ausflug in den nahen Nationalpark.

Great park! The sites are surrounded by woods giving you just enough privacy. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to provide beautiful star filled skies at night. The beach is covered in beautiful white sand with clear water, there are a number of sandy coves that are separated by rock or grass but are easily traversed. Sometimes there is seaweed, but the large sandbars make up for what washes ashore. Thomas Raddall park has become a yearly retreat for us, and we always look forward to returning.

Claudia Boldt

Was there August 14th 2020...site 76...very close to little beach...water across the road...outhouse very close...used wagon to take dishes to Comfort Station...very clean...lots of trees so quiet...excellent campground for kids on bicycles but not so much with training wheels...ice was reasonably priced at $2.50 a bag... buy everything before you arrive...you would waste hours going to get supplies... bathrooms were very clean...would definitely return

Connor Murdock

Joybelle Allen

Nice park. Sites were clean. Bathrooms reasonably clean. Trails along beach were very nice. Strange that we had to self-check in, but it worked out ok. Came across some staff who assisted us...they seemed helpful enough.

Amazing campground!!! Will be sure to be back next year more then once!

Beautiful park. We went of the beaten path around the cove which was worth it if you don't mind climbing over rocks, which we didn't. Trails are nice and clear. Only complaint could be better trail markings.
