Simple pleasures to be had here. Small well-maintained provincial park with beach front access. Come for a picnic or a short walk. Rarely busy.

Yury Donskoy

Great experience but bring comfortable and sturdy shoes with lots of ankle support if you want to venture down to the beach. No services, either,so bring your own water.

So amazing. I have drove by this place a few times, having no idea what it actually was. When I finally went in, I realized it was right by the water and got to watch 2 whales playing. Incredible.

Nice park, the roads require some gravel there are a few wash out. Lots of places to park. They have a outhouse. They do have hand sanitizer.

Love this place! Beautiful white birch trees, lots of picnic tables (some covered), room to pull over with an RV, outhouses and water taps, oceanside view of St. Mary's Bay and Digby Neck and Long Island. The shoreline, accessible by stairs, has a combination shore of sand and rocks of various sizes. Some seaglass and shells - great place for kids to explore! Pay heed and stay back from the fences by the eroding cliffs. Close to convenience stores for that impromptu picnic. Don't take trailers more than 14" into the birches; it's tricky to turn.

Sharon Harrison

Great place for a gathering however they should have running water and maybe some BBQs

Dani C

This is a beautiful rest-stop, right on the water with lots of parking and well-kept bathrooms and trail/road. Very nice place for walking.

Beautiful setting. Park is well maintained, with plenty of individual picnic tables and in groups. There is a mixture of deciduous and evergreen trees on hilly, rolling terrain overlooking St. Mary's Bay. A deterrent is the ["phew!"] pit toilets and limited shore access to the rocky beach.

steve tober

Well maintained covered picnic areas, mowed grass, beach access and plenty of space for kids to run and play.

Wendy James

Just a gorgeous afternoon and a beautiful spot for our picnic. Enjoyed it so much. Just one request would be to have hand sanitizer in the toilets please. Absolutely lovely views of St. Mary's Bay. Highly recommended.

Great space for family gatherings.

Jillian Macnutt

Lots of wide open green space. Great walking trail. Dogs welcome on leashes. Picnic tables, outhouses (including an accessible option), shade and great water views. Would be nice if there was a playground or a few more restrooms.
