REVIEWS OF Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park IN Nova Scotia

Nancy Godwin-Eke

Great place to be when you wanna be outdoors. Ample parking space for vehicles, good shower rooms and generally a fun place to be if you love some sun, sea and fun especially during the summer.

Dave Citris (Dudewheresmycar456)

Large beach, amazing sand, and fairly warm ocean water

Darren Carr

It always a great beach to visit.

Melissa Rose

One of the best beaches on the East Coast! Great sand! Clear water! No bugs!!! That is my favorite part. My kids would spend all day here if they could. Fairly shallow water for quite a ways out. And every day but today, the water is a beautiful temperature. Haha.

Romil Patel

After carters beach, I would say best place to hang out and swim in summer. This place has warm water. A long shore with lots of parking. Its a family fun place. Must visit.

anish joseph

Nice beach, Clean and shallow shore for fun..

Anya Zub

Love this beach. It's my favourite.

Daniel Yanez

Finally, we found some warm water on a local beach. It helped that we went during a very hot day but we enjoyed the water finally on a beach in NS

Kathy MacPherson

This is a cycling route for me. I haven't been in the water yet this year. The air is fresh scenic. Parking lot always full in summer. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because no cafeteria service which they once had. But they did have a food truck. Lovely ladies working the truck.

Topics About Life

It's a really good beach just to chill everyone there seems pretty chill and lovingly had a great time there with my family on the weekend is really hot so we went for a swim came back to her chilling spot on our towels had a few drinks and then went home

Chris Wilson

Loved this beach since I was a kid. Too bad Camp Rainbow Haven is condemned. Beautiful there. View is great in more ways than one.

T R

Great beach, lots of space to be away from people of you want to. Dog friendly. Lots of parking.

Peggy Offley

Beautiful Beach but some rocks

Rebel Silence

Absolutely beautiful beach with a sandy shore.

Tonia Hartnett

Lovely beach, terrible roads though and strong current

Victoria Goodwin

Beautiful beach with clean facilities, be careful of the current

Natalie Cantle

Nice public beach. Tons of room. Can get crowded at times. It is a bit of a far drive from the city (20-30 depending on where you’re coming from) but it’s a very nice beach worth the drive.

Tolga ILDIZ

It was great beach to look at but unfortunatelly too cold to go in. The wind shifted direction every couple minutes so the wind would be warm one second and cold the other. Overall good beach to hangout with friends. Don't forget your lawn chairs. ????

Atlantic Lapse

Great place to enjoy it on summer season

Tao Basom

Very clean beach. Let's must be leashed.

Elle Sing

Great close beach for sunset walks

Faisal Samad

Greater HRM has many great beaches, ppl get out and explore them.

Cailin Robert Campbell And Green

Lot's of parking (but fills early on sunny summer days!) with change rooms open until 7 or so, lifeguards in summer, and a fabulous walk along the beach in towards the salt marsh. A nice walk through the sandy beach grasses and trees off the beach too. Park outside main gate if you're staying after 8! There is water during day but bring your own too, as well as food as there is usually no food, just occasionally a food truck in peak summer times.

Graham Mann

Really cool beach, first time I'd been there, but reefs in the cove make for interesting waves, the beach itself is beautiful white sand, and the water is clear. Lots of beautiful houses around too, I'll definitely be back.

Arwah H

Beautiful, clean beach with shallow waters great for little kids, and attentive lifeguards. It was busy (because it was late afternoon on the hottest day of the year so far) but there was still plenty of room for everyone so we didn't feel like sardines.

George Dao

Beautiful sandy beach that is perfectly maintained and has life guards. Now if only the water was warmer!

Tatyana Gal

Shallow beach, good for kids. Road closer to the beach it is gravel and goes through resedential area Beach pathway: wood deck style, that makes your way to the beach easier. It is a little longer than expected, but it is fine Sand: it is fine, sand is mixed with stones and rocks on the sides, it makes it divers. Personally spent 2 hr just walking along the water Overall really nice place for family time, a lot of kids around and it is pets friendly place Well maintained and clean. Windy though and about 10 degrees colder than the city at all times.

Bruna Genz

Perfect beach to spend a hot day on summer. It is beautiful and there is a large sand area to lay down. The washrooms have showers, and we're really clean the day I was there.

Max Tardy

Beach is great! Boardwalk, food truck, picnic table, lifeguard, lots of sand,

Christine Emberley

I've always liked this beach. It's great for families, and the recent addition of a food truck makes packing for outings easier. Unfortunately, a storm during the winter of 2018 washed away a lot of sand and basically cut the beach in half. The stones left behind are a nuisance, and it means there's a lot less room for beach-goers to sit comfortably. Otherwise, not too rocky and not much seaweed, which makes swimming great, especially if you can handle the temperatures of the open Atlantic.

Erica Spinney

Had a wonderful time relaxing in the sun this evening.

Percy A Paris

Truly a family setting. Lovely place for family and visitors to the province. If I had to say anything negative, it would have to be directed to those dog owners who do NOT pick up the deposits on the beach made by their dog.

Virna Salas

Beautiful beach. I liked it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of the rocks in the water. Too many.

P Green

Great beach with lots of places to sit socially distanced and beautiful views ????

Linda Berry

This is an awesome beach even on a cold winter day! Had a great hike along the sand when the tide was out.

Wesley Chan

Beautiful place for a walk. I went for a New Year walk when the weather was relatively warm and the fog was great - it set a very "Wuthering Heights" tone. Can't wait to see what this beach is like in the summer!

Shuvankar Saha

Honestly speaking, the Rainbow Heaven Beach is a must visit place whoever travelling/staying near to Dartmouth/Halifax. The ocean at this point is more beautiful. I have seen the ocean almost calm at my nearby points. But the tides are strong here. Good place to swim and lay on the sands.

Regan Alford

Always a lovely beach to visit.

Dr. Marco Navarro-Genie

Great sandy beach. The place closes at 8pm but the diligent staff will close the change rooms at 7pm. Never underestimate the efficiency of people trying to leave work.

Jo-Anne

clean and accessible great views and breath taking views, great for walking swimming beach combing and clear thought.

Emily Murphy

Its a beautiful beach but it can get very crowded. Parking is scarce but if you go early it is usually fine. The water does have a lot of rocks but there are a few areas that are alright. But its a pretty safe beach and the water is not too rough.

Shannon Harvey

One of my favourite beaches! Always lots of people and dogs.

Stephen Hendsbee

Lots of parking and lots of beach. Best Beach in the HRM.

Craig Smith

Beautiful beach. Parking can be hard on a warm summer day, glad I live close enough to walk lol

Gail Schrooten

Really nice beach... poor road to get there

Stuart Nicholl

Beauty beach. Clean. Warm water. Not much seaweed. Good change hut. Dogs allowed on leash. No rocks in water. Shallow and safe.

Wen Sun

Great beach, short drive from Halifax.

rachael lucas

I thought it wasn't going to be good for swimming today, but I was wrong. I went in with my siblings first then went back alone and it was great. I hurt my feet on the rocks though. ????

Thien Tran

Nice and sandy beach. Greatly convenient. Close to HRM area.

Alexander Grinton

Great place. Closed for the winter about mid October and it becomes a massive dog park essentially. Not allowed off leash there but everyone does it off season.

S. M.

Warm! Good for long walks. Lots of dogs.

Janet Brisson

Beautiful, sandy beach with limited parking and a killer rip current .

Gena Dawe

Great beach. Lots of space and parking. Saltwater marsh trail nearby is another great option for a stroll

Kenny Mahar

Great spot for an early morning dog walk. 99% of the folks there on those early mornings also have dogs or are very dog friendly.

Mindalynn Frelick

Even at night this beach was absolutely gorgeous. Incredible views and a great place to visit with loved ones. 10/10

Charlene Carr

Love this beach. Even when it's busy, there's still lots of space. Beautiful shore.

Mark O'Connell

Nice beach, when you go in the water, there is a short rocky spot, but than sand and a sandbar after that.

Joshua Wong

Lots of space and lovely sand. Water is cool and refreshing. Lifeguards on duty, washrooms and showers on site - what is not to like?

Adam Greeley

Rainbow Haven is a gorgeous beach just outside of Dartmouth. While it is a popular place and slightly overcrowded, there is ample space on the beach to find solitude if you are willing to walk five minutes.

Steve Bowers

My favorite beach, nice boardwalks and trails, very pet friendly. Check out the first boardwalk on the right after the parking lot entrance for a perfect sandy beach with no rocks

Fiona MacKinnon

Beautiful beach! Disappointed there was little area to swim due to rocks

Ronald Davies

So far this is the most beautiful beach I have seen in Nova Scotia. This is a huge sandy beach,

Guy Hermanson

I've been going to Rainbow Haven for decades and it rarely disappoints. However, now that there's no canteen and no parking on both sides of the road the experience for those who aren't familiar with it will be lessened. The best time to go and get a decent parking spot at the not so busy right side is 10 to 1030am. There were even lifeguards at the right side which I've rarely seen. Most years they stay on the left by the buildings.

Ann Smith

Rainbow haven beach is a provincial beach, so is equipped with life guards during "business" hours. One end of the beach has bathrooms and outside showers to rinse off before leaving. There are 2 parking lots which is great except on a hot day on the week end. Those days you need to go early or after 3 pm. It is a beautiful sandy beach and usually the waves are not as big as other areas, which makes it great for kids.

Underwater Dreamer

Rainbow Haven is great! So much respect for the well protected marshlands and grassy plains shared so closely with a large variety of wildlife. A little windy most days.

Scott McCluskey

Just outside the city. Change rooms washrooms and free parking. Beautiful sandy beach with lots of room.

Mustafa

Beautiful place, very soft sands and really cold water ☺ but last year it was warm on September. Lots of parking spots, changing rooms and washrooms. But it would very crowded to find parking spot at long weekend times...

Jacquelyn Donovan

The view is absolutely beautiful! Getting in the water is a bit of a challenge, there's lots of big slippery rocks which make it difficult for those less agile to get across. I rolled my ankle almost four times getting in and getting out. That being said though, if you can get past the rocks it's sandy, which is nice.

RickMyTrainer

One of the best beaches in Halifax! So lucky to have this within running distance from our neighborhood.

sepehr Naeeni

Beautiful beach really close to dartmouth NS. Perfect for swimming and getting tanned.

Andre Chiasson

Beautiful beach. Cold at this time of year but pleasant walk.

Sam & Rigsby

Great trails and a beautiful spot with enough room to get away from the crowds. Only sour point is the beach is for leashed dogs only and no one ever enforces it. It's a shame for people trying to enjoy the beach.

Simon Payn

Beautiful beach close to the city. Perfect for some nice family pics

Liz Cummings

This is a lovely beach with bathrooms, food trucks when the peak of summer, and a beautiful view. Nice soft sand, lots of parking, and a place to wash off your body and clothes after swimming in the ocean. Dogs must be leashed, but it's a great place to take them too.

Katie Enman

Nice place to go for a winter walk on the beach if you can handle the cold. Parking is limited since the main gate is closed off in the off-season. There are a TON of dogs so make sure you have yours on a leash. I only saw one garbage can and the restroom was not usable.

Harley Rider

Nice family beach, but get there early in the day as the large parking lot gets full.

Chloe

One of the best beaches to go to in the area. Beautiful sands.

Andrew McDonald

Well we didn't go to the beach here because their were sooo many people. So we went a little passed the entrance and stopped on the right side of the road (just before the turn around). We had just wanted to get our feet wet so this was a perfect stop for us.

Michael Ambroziak

My favorite beach in HRM. Go to the inlet and use the current as a lazy river. Great spot to spend the day. Very few beach patrols so booze is usually easy to enjoy.

Ceilidh Lavalette

A nice sandy beach in Cow Bay! A lot of area to walk and play, 2 board walks to use for entering. I usually drive passed the first parking, through the gated driveway, and down to where the building is. There are washrooms and picnic tables before the beach. The walk isn't too far to get there :)

Frank Thomas

Very nice spot.Cold water , great beach.Gotta watch the undertow.

Jean Desmond

It's beautiful there's changing and washrooms well maintained also has outdoor showers and a spot you can bbq

Patrick Brouwer

Great beach close to town. Dog friendly so long as they are on leash (we also filled the holes in after she was done!)

Adam Roy

I mean, you gotta fight for parking all the time but otherwise it's a great place kind of. I mean, even in the either quite often.

Horizon Eye Photography

Great Beach, dog friendly, very clean!

Bumblebee Nickles

Beautiful beach, been going there for years. Can get a little crowed at times.

Kassidy Coburn

This beach is usually always packed in the summer, this beach is extremely loved and for great reasons. The only two problems you might encounter is certain parts near the water are rocky, you might want water shoes; and the seagulls get hungry and might literally steal your snacks, it's happened.

Karen Z

Lovely beach, has less restrictions so you can eat at this beach. Only downside because of near by swaps there a mosquitos.

Surinder Singh

Beautiful beach along the Atlantic coast.

Monica Smith

First visit was the end of June. The sand was clean looking no trash littering the place. Pretty scenery, long walk but gorgeous view of the water and surrounding areas.. Great swimming spot. Great experience. It's worth the visit.

Elizabeth Manderson

It was nice and warm compared to Lawrencetown Beach up the road. Lots of sand and space. ????

Simon Gomez

This is fun spot with clean bathroom facilities and outdoor showers. There are lots of spots for parking here. Parking is free. This is a really clean beach with lots of beautiful smooth rocks.

Kate Mallin

Great beach day, safe, lots of people but still tons of room at the beach for your stuff or to swim. Leaving stuff on the beach while you go in the water seemed to be commonplace so we did it and didn't get robbed! Saw lots of crabs!

Rebecca P (LovelyCreatures)

Great beach! Public washrooms, loads of parking, and a lovely boardwalk to the beach. Arrive between 10-11 am on the weekends to avoid the crowds. They will close the parking lot of full!

Jason Wareham

Large beach with moderate wind. Great for lounging, swimming, beach sports and flying kites. There are great amenities for families like washrooms with plumbing, food truck onsite (not sure of the hours), and rinsing station for sand located conveniently by the parking area.

David McDougall

Beautiful place. Great beech to stop at to sun. Have a walk or watch the sunrise.

Cathy Pineau

Great beach but you never know how the weather will be, when you get there; sometimes the fog is hugging the coast, making it a tad chilly. Or the parking. That said, it is definitely warmer water than most ocean beaches around here. Right now end of July 2020, the water is absolutely beautiful.

Steven Carter

Heavenly little beach of fine white sand. Impressively clean on a busy long weekend. The parking lot is fairly good sized but fills up quickly and the entrance gate closes to vehicles. The provincial road to it is narrow and the shoulders fill up with cars quickly on warm, sunny days. The gravel road from the gate is eternally full of pot holes. Nevertheless this is a Halifax beach not to miss sunny days or foggy days. (From 2015) Everything from last year is still true but it was hot enough to swim on our visit this year. It's the North Atlantic so it's ... a little cool compared to a lot of places you might be more familiar with. The water has never been calm but the drop off is not enormous so you can either wade around up to your ankles, knees or waist but be prepared to be dunked by the ocean after that.

Solo PilotFPV

It's the beach, what's there not to like. Honestly, beautiful spot.

Giridhar Manu

Beautiful Beach with Great Views and Clean Environment.

Michelle Maclean

Beautiful beach the kids loved swimming our to the sand bar

Lee Gibson

Fantastic stretch of beach and boardwalk. Bring a picnic, lots of sunblock, and pack out your trash to keep this lovely place pristine.

Shyann Clayton

Love this place...water nice and clear and sand very clean. They have lifeguards on duty, washroom facilities and now a food truck. They are also dog friendly.

Suzanne McIntosh

Beautiful beach, lots of parking. Walk the entire length of the beach to get the full experience.

Danny Garon

Great place off season. Too crowded in the summer.

Kimberly Henry

We love it here. The beach is nice, lots of sand, especially if you head up to the beach where the lifeguards are near to the main hut with the washrooms. The first beach is more rocky, especially after a few hurricanes tossed around the rock from the sea break, and dragged it down into the beach. Lots of trash cans provided, and there is now a food truck on site for drinks and snacks. (I haven't tried it yet but it sure smells delicious) I suggest going in the morning with a packed lunch, or heading there in the late afternoon if you want to avoid the majority of the crowds, especially during the weekend.

Bethany Moore

Beautiful clean beach, even when busy it doesn't feel over crowded. Parking can be a little tricky on busy days. Flush toilets, sinks, Change area available. Excellent family beach.

T Bow

Too crowded and the park attendants close the gates when they feel the parking lot is full so you can't even drive in and drop people off. Meanwhile, at the other end of the park, cars are leaving fairly steadily. This means tons of cars park on the road (Cow Bay) causing traffic congestion that is annoying at best for the homeowners in the area and dangerous should emergency vehicles be needed. It is quite a long walk from the road to the beach, especially if you are carrying lots of stuff or have small children or anyone with mobility issues in your group. Then, once you finally make it to the parking lot on your way to the beach, you find that there are literally 50+ empty parking spots. Really wish they would leave the gate open so people could drive through the park and check for spots themselves and then park out on the road if necessary (or at least drop off part of our group and the stuff by the boardwalk). The beach itself is nice with a wide sandy shore line. The water is refreshing and all the rocks and seaweed on the bottom provide hours of fun for young nature enthusiasts to watch crabs, periwinkles and tiny shrimp scurrying around in their underwater home. Swimmers may prefer to wear water shoes to avoid stepping on broken shells and barnacle covered rocks, especially at mid to low tide. Other than the parking situation on busy days this beach is very nice, especially for families with children. It is also a very popular dog walking beach.

Kat Black

Soft warm sand, ocean waves rolling up and enough space for everyone. Rainbow haven is well maintained and I couldn't think of a better place to go for some ocean time! They also have a place where you can shower off after getting covered in sand, not to mention the lovely food truck they have for when you are hungry!

Tracy Migel

So close to home water is beautiful late August and September

MD Ank

Beautiful beach met a very friendly and helful man and his chocolate Lab

Eli

I love how accessible this Beach is. the water stay shallow for a very long time making it a great place to bring children. During low tide there is pools of water for kids to explore and look into. As well this beach quite sandy; a rare opportunity in Nova Scotia. Lifeguards on duty!

Debbie Sanford

My first time visiting this beautiful beach ! Can't wait to go back!

Sydney Dillinger

The weather was beautiful but not too many waves.

Ryan D

Beautiful and somewhat sheltered beach

Kin Sang Lee

Good beach. But to many rocks in the water when you go swimming

Jupiter Mars

Beach is clean. Sand on either end and stone covers a big part. Water is freezing. Going in the water you step on rocks first. Parking is available.

Razu Ahmed Masud

Amazing beach, quite and calm .love to be there again and again.

Meetoo Beagle

This sandy beach is beautiful in all seasons. Lots of people and dogs enjoying a stroll. Please pick up after your pets.

Mary Perfrement

Always a pleasure to go there. Beautiful breeze from the water. Children playing in the sand & water. Noticed an abundance of rock in front of the steps from the boardwalk that wasn't there last year, which takes from the Beech sitting area. Only 1 way to enter the Beech from that boardwalk. Not a good site. Should now be called Boulderstone Beach

Chris Brennan

Parking is an issue on hot weekend days in the summer. Aside from that this is my favorite beaches to go to. Close to the city, long enough you can sit near the boardwalk and people watch or walk a few hundred meets and have some space to yourself. Nice sand cool water. There is a rather severe current on the farthest left side of the beach (marked) when tide us coming or going. Lovely spot, you should visit!

Sara Muzzatti

One of the best beaches in the area. Wide sand beach, lots of room, huge sand bar. Temps usually pretty decent by end of July. Great amenities in the summer. Great place to bring dog friendly dogs to play in the winter.

Peter Fleming

Rainbow Haven has great changing and washroom facilities and a nice boardwalk out to the beach. There are 2 sandy areas separated by a small rocky section. There is a supervised area.

Sagar Patel

Spectacular views. Stone and water combination make a perfect scenario for a photo.

Kevin Collie

Quiet little beach. Sand on the rougher side. Good for a little stroll around. Decent waves for surfing if you're into that. Cold Atlantic water xd

Patricia MacDonald

Great beach! Close to the city.

Matt Bastarache

Beautiful beach, just not a lot of room

Sherrie Vanderaa

A great day out on the water. The roses smelled wonderful and we git to watch a bald eagle teach a fledgling how to hunt.

Elena G.

Beautiful place for a walk. I loved it in the morning, so peaceful and calm

Matt Dawson

Perfect for kids. Too many dogs but mostly they play away from kids.

Anthony Schnare

Started raining, changing rooms kinda smelled like poop, water was cold, will probably go again

Ruth Vandergeest

My first time at this beach, and it was incredible! I arrived as tide was coming in. But the water is generally shallow and gets deeper gradually with a few sandbars as you venture out. The sand is fine and clean. There is no seaweed in the water here. Watch your step because there are spots of slimy rocks as you get in the water.

Paul Francis

Nice beach but the showers have been deleted , can't rinse off the salt water

Doug

We visit this beach every time we are in the area. It's a big beach with nice sand and a good place to swim if you don't mind the temperature. There is lots of parking and washrooms.

christopher hurry

Its was all a bit surreal. We drove out of town down a long long road to get their. The parking lot has huge holes, swallow a car. We found a dead umbrella like, tree we walk under. The beach is miles away, when got there we left, in the distant a woman walked alone, as if out of Ingrid Bergman film. We tried another way to car and came across a Christmas Tree. The kids loved it. Lots of walking, high wind sand, the beach in November.

Brenda Lovett

A great clean beach and so spacious, water was warm too.

Bethany Hayes

Great sandy beach, close to city

Jerran Symonds

I enjoy going here to get my dose of sun, sand, and sea air. The name is pretty cool too. Lots of parking, especially when the lower lot is open in the summer

Angela Marie

Sandy beach, lifeguards, lots of room, & covered washrooms

James Finn

Great beach, bottle neck to get to main parking lot. Need more shower heads. Water warm in comparsion to crystal crescent beach

Francesca Mendez Barcelo

A beautiful beach. It didn't even seem too crowded despite it being a really hot Sunday. Freezing cold water...

Peter Stroud

Lovely sandy beach, lots of parking week days washroom available

Coach B

Had a nice walk on the beach this morning. There was a light breeze and no bugs.

Ron Lynch

Best sandy ocean beach in HRM region. A long walk from your car on a nice summer day if you wait too long, (as much as a kilometer on a sunny weekend), but if you get there early, (or late), you can get within a short walk to the beach. Off season is no problem. Most ocean beaches in this area are a mix of rock and sand, tending more toward the former at many, but this beach is almost all sand. And located within a sheltered bay, it is less windy and cold than the other ocean beaches. Water seems warmer here as well, no doubt benefiting from the shallower waters of the bay.

Shane Savoury

Nice beach ....clean ...nothing like swimming in the ocean would highly recommend if you haven't been there

Jennifer smith

Beautiful

Mike Kipper

Checked out Rainbow Haven to see effects of Teddy. Lots of seaweed on the beach but it's still a great beach. Water was a little chilly for my liking

Keegan Pronk

A great wide open beach with beautiful sand and plenty of space, Rainbow Haven is a great beach for a family day at the beach or a group of friends to have a picnic. The beach it a bit of a walk in, about 5 minutes to the water, but there is a boardwalk to make the trek easier across the dunes.

Michelle Robinson

Service was fast and friendly, food was fresh and delicious. It's a loud atmosphere but very broad selection of breakfast/brunch food!

Donna Poirier

It's a beautiful place to walk along the ocean. Great play to take the whole family. Lot of space to walk the beach with no fear of being close to one another.

Kasey M

Wonderful beach! Nice sand, nice water. Be weary of the tide they do have the safe swimming area marked though!

Kevin Schroeder

Awesome beach, need to get there early as parking quickly fills up.

Chris van der Ham

Lots of room at this beach. The ocean currents can be tricky so stay safe. It often has a breeze blowing as well. Fun times.

Julie Bergeron

Great family beach! With boardwalk and changing rooms.

Nova coast

Beautiful day at the beach. Not too crowded at 11:30 but by 12:30 getting busier so decided to go. No washrooms or facilities open. I think if people planned to stay an hour it would help keep numbers down.

Nicole Birch

Went to Rainbow for a polar bear dip to welcome 2021!! It was great. The sandy beach was perfect for running in. The waves were beautiful. If you don't want to swim the beach is lovely to take the dog on a walk. Come and enjoy!

Melissa Stevenson

Gorgeous beach with sand and ocean views. Short walk from parking lot to the beach is nice. Unfortunately, not alot of parking is available though.

Allan Slaunwhite

Had a great time with the kids but people should try to clean up after themselves looking a bit trashy

keegan sheffield

Great beach for a hot day. Some rocks are currently in around the coastline which can make it a bit hard to get out into the water. Great for family's, pets, sports and sunbathing. Parking is limited, but you can always find street parking and walk.

Sandra Myers

I love this beach. It is a short drive from Dartmouth. Lots of parking. Lifeguards on duty. The water temperature in July was cool but acceptable. There are washrooms, change rooms and food truck on site. Plenty of picnic tables too. It is a great place to spend the day.
