This is my very favourite Nova Scotia Beach. The water is wonderfully warm. Sandy Bottom for a kilometre out. You can see Pei across the way on a clear day

Probably one of THE BEST park beaches in Nova Scotia. Very clean facilities, nice lawn with picnic tables and shelters. The beach is second to none IMHO. Warm water and amazing beach walking. My only wish would be that they had running water and/or an outdoor shower.

Clean restrooms, beautiful scenery, mudflats for the adventurous to go and explore (bring a bag for the shoes you encumber with mud in your travels). With tide out people were out quite far into the water. The bathrooms were clean and simple permanent structures; outhouse style but really pretty odourless. All in all a place worth pulling into for a break if you are driving by.

Free parking. Clifftop picnic area. Easy access (but not "accessible") beach. Good for long walks, beachcomber and swimming. Sandbags and red sand. Warm water (for Canada). Washrooms.

Great small provincial park with beach access, washrooms, and picnic tables. Enjoyable any time of year (but especially summer during a low tide)

Long shore line, sand bars, and relatively warm waters. Facilities were clean and newly renovated. Property was well maintained, with an assortment of picnicking areas. Only critique is the shore line containing more rock than sand. However, when tide is out, this is nearly a non-issue.

Perfect beach. When the tide is out you can get to several sandbars. You can see crabs, starfish, clams and more. Beautiful scenery.

Very clean beach with washrooms and change rooms. There are rocks on the beach but only so far out. Very good parking as well, just a note there is no life guards on duty.

The beach was sandy and very nice and the water was cool but warmer than I'm used to in NS. Change rooms and out houses were clean. Quite a few covered picnic tables. The only down side was some dog poop, why can't people just pick up after their pets. I would have given it a 4 1/2 if I could have.

Beach is Sandy with some rocks. Great for swimming. There are outhouses and change rooms. There is a grassy area with covered and uncovered picnic tables. We would definitely come back.

I drove over an hour to get to the beach and it was terrible. No sand and rocky. Red mud or dirt... unsure. I didn't even want to put my stuff down...so we used the washrooms and left. This is one ofthe worst beaches I've been to.
