Very nice! Well spaced out sites in campground B :) we will be back! Needs to have quiet time hours posted please!

Katrina Haight

My favourite place to camp. Gorgeous scenery and plenty of cute local shops in the area!

Vernon Daigle

Good spot. Beautiful scenery. Layout is spreadout a abit. It is because of the extremely low tides I couldn't recommend it for swimmers and kids. The beach turns to mud. Very thick slimy muck.

Matthew Gates

One of our favourite provincial parks by far! Staff are amazing, super friendly! Love the layout of the park, this year was our second year staying at this park and hope to be back many times. The first year we stayed one night before heading on to Parrsboro for the weekend. We arrived late and originally booked a walk in-site which probably wasn't a great idea since it was late and we were tired but the staff offered to move us into a drive in site which was fantastic. We had a great stay and got to take part in a free clam digging workshop put on by Parks Canada, one of the best parts of our trip. This year we stayed for 2 nights and just relaxed an enjoyed the park. We had a excellent walk in site and a great view. We love provincial parks and want to support them. They are such an underused thing in our province and offer such an enjoyable comfortable experience. Can't wait to book one of their new walk in sites again next year! The staff at this site deserve a pat on the back for the great job they do!

Amazing views. The hiking trail was a little tough but worth the views at the end. Water was great for swimming. Inconvenient that the washrooms were closed so often though. Lots of eagles, they're incredible.

Bob Ross greenshedproductions

we only went to the day area but it looks like a great place to go camping so you can take advantage of all the trails

Mar Gar

Clam digging is fun. Be sure to bring shovel. Enjoy the mud. View is spectacular. Always check the tide schedule before heading out there.

Mike Kennedy

One of my favorite campsites of our 14 day camping trip through Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, this site looked right over the Bay of Fundy, had amazing views, nice and tucked away from surrounding campers, and a good breeze to keep the bugs at bay. Definitely a special place.

Bullet Witch

Lovely quiet and beautiful scenery for camping or a day visit. Our new favorite camping spot right in our backyard. The views are spectacular. Carol gave us a friendly and knowledgeable welcome with great tips. Thanks to you and your team. We will be back many times to come. Everyone play safe on your visits and watch the tides.

Sander Raaymakers

Simply amazing. Arrive at low tide. Walk the mud flats. Feel like you're on Mars. Come back at high tide, 6 hours later, and you'll see an ocean of water.

Max Tardy

Great place to go camping. Clam digging right off the campground. Only thing was signage, trying to find spot 90 was a quest...

Tina Boutilier

Beautiful spot...the water ..the views...park...nice place to relax..have a pic nic...and just enjoy.

Krista Whitehouse

We love this park. Did you know that is has some of the most interesting geology in the province? Take a walk along the beach at low tide and make your way east. Some really fantastic, and geologically unique features here. Worth checking out. I cycled the trails around the campground and enjoyed the views from the camp site. The park is high up on a hill, so the views from practically everywhere are fantastic. Staff is great too, and good firewood, which for me is a make or break item.

Kattuk Expeditions

Stunning scenery, very well maintained park and they have wonderful staff. Highly recommend

Jer Green (Greener)

We had a great time spending the night in the Five Islands campground. The sunrises and sunsets are STUNNING! The campground is really well maintained and is a short walk to the beach. Our kids didn't want to leave !

Peter E

Very scenic park on a promontory in the Minas Basin. Sites are a mix of open and more private. Electric sites are available, but they will be snapped up first. There are comfort stations with flush toilets, showers (free), and a station for washing dishes. A short walk will take you to the rocky beach where around low tide, you can walk along the shore to see some 350 foot high cliffs, and great views of the islands. There is no park store, but if you have a car a small food store and a restaurant are 10 minutes away.

Katie DesLauriers

Our stay at Five Islands Provincial Park was incredible!! Each site brought its own unique view of the Bay of Fundy. Amazing tides to watch come in and go out. Great beach area to explore no matter the tide. Great staff that were amazing as well as clean bathrooms/shower area. HIGHLY recommend sites 16& 22

Nick Jeffery

Great provincial park, nice trails to hike and can walk in the Bay of Fundy at low tide

Chris Morgan

This place just became my new favourite campground. What a view right from the campsite.

Leah Fitzgerald

Camp sites are well maintained and the views, especially on the walk in sites, can't be beat. The bathrooms leave much to be desired, but since most of the park has traditionally been focused on trailers rather than tents, it's not a surprise that the facilities are not as developed. Beach is lovely at both high and low tide, but be prepared for mud if you walk the flats.

Maru Aldan (1up)

Absolutely amazing. This beautiful campground is surrounded by an impressively biodivers forest and a geologically stunning coastline. The beaches are also a great spot for clam digging or to witness the most dramatic tide change in the world. The campgrounds themselves offer well-kept and level spots to pitch a tent along with a picnic table and even a fire pit with a built-in hinged grill. The shower and bathroom facilities are also cleaned very regularly and are in great condition. Garbage disposal was a breeze and the bins were never overfilling even though it was a busy weekend. Water was also easily accessible thanks to the many spouts that dot the campgrounds. Fire wood and ice is also available for purchase at the office by the main entrance (small bills and quarters are very appreciated) but payment can be made with tap or card. As far as staff goes, It's hard to find the words to express how deeply appreciative we were to meet them. We had the pleasure meeting Carol who was extremely friendly and welcoming. She gave us a plethora of information in regards to the areas geology and some tips that made our stay there even more memorable. She took time to chat with us over some ice-cream and showed us some fossils and fossil casts that were found IN THE PARK! She gives this already impressive place a sense of warmth that convinced us to come back as much as we can for as long as we can. All together this place is an absolute MUST VISIT. It's perfect for family trips with kids or an intimate getaway with your partner. An amazing experience truly. **keep in mind that most supplies like food items can be found at the general store down the road or at the various restaurants, but if you need fuel the closest gas station is about 20 minutes away. So be sure to fill up before getting there. This isn't necessarily a negative because it gives you a chance to visit the adorable little town of Parrsboro!

What amazing staff, beautiful campsites and wonderful beaches. Clean, organized, nice trails, don't miss out on this gem it is worth the drive!!! Carol from Parks who helped us, was so kind and enthusiastic, helpful and just wonderful to chat with, thank you so much Carol for making us feel so at home, we couldn't have felt more welcomed.

Cheryl Anne

Visitors can climb up to the deck and have a good look at the five islands and the bay of Fundy. There are two telescopes below that the public can use to take a closer look at the islands.

Adam Jewkes

What a gem! If you're visiting NS (when appropriate) I recommend touring this area. When it comes to Five Islands, and this area in general, beautiful scenery is an understatement. Be safe, everyone. ✌️

Mary Langevin

Wonderful place to watch the tide go out and enjoy walking the ocean floor.

Brenda Rose

We were greeted by the kindest and loveliest woman at the gate. She ensured we could find our campsite and later checked in to make sure it was up to par. Camp sites are fairly private from the neighbours on either side, water is very accessible. You can drive down to the beach and walk long the ocean floor while the tide is out! We really enjoyed our stay at Five Islands

Cristi Yorke

Absolutely stunning views. Big campground, clean and quiet. Perfect for an escape for the weekend.

Peter Fevens

Great place to pull off the road and have a picnic. Take a nice stroll on the gravelly beach or let you toes sink in the clay at low tide. Small parking lot and outhouses. A breautiful spot. It's also an RV park but I can't comment on that.

Geri Barrington

Such a great park in our beautiful province of NS. If you haven't experienced, you absolutely must!

shelbiehuard

Great park. Some trails better than others. I wish they’d advertise more when some trails are under renovations so that you don’t just find out when you get there.

Ron Karpel

Gorgeous Park, great view form many as the sites. Very interesting walks along the Bay floor at low tide.

Kevin Dunbar

Great place to go camping. Beautiful scenery and you can walk the mood flats during low tide.

Steve W

This place is absolutely beautiful. The views from the park are bar none and the fundy tides, being the largest in the world at 40 feet, create a one of a kind camping trip.

Justin Colson

Really loved the staggered feel of the terrain. Felt as though I was part of a hillside community. Had a lovely walk out in the Bay during low tide, exploring all the ocean wildlife left behind in the shallow pools of water. The next day we were lucky enough to have yet another beautiful, sunny day as we reached the lookoff (which wasn't marked at all) and peered down at the Bay we had explored the day prior. So wonderful to have experienced both perspectives. Absolutely some of my favourite scenery.

Edwina Thomas

We had a lovely stay. Pit toilets aren't great but there is a comfort station for flushes and showers. These close at night though. Be forwarded, the wind can be hard on awnings and dining tents. Lovely big sites, pleasant day use area.

Brent VanSlyke

What a great place for family camping! Sites are large and the surrounding is beautiful. Well kept!

Ricardo F

Really great Provincial park. Well located to check out the tidal oscillation where you can go miles within the red dirt when low tides and have a nice beach hours after tides are high. Be aware not to be "islanded" while on the sand as the tide comes in pretty fast. Here you will see the usual 1 washroom with showers for whole park - be ready to wait as they ask 1 family at a time due to COVID-19. But there are no male/female division anymore, which makes things a little bit better.

Caleb Morgan

Beautiful, spacious campsites, tucked away from the nearby town. At high tide, a beautiful view of the big island, and at low tide, an amazing walk across the bay floor and along the cliffs awaits.

Monica Nobile

We arrived at low tide. Stayed 1hr and it was amazing how much water came in. All the sand was covered. Unfortunately we could not stay for high tide. Completely free day use!

Shannon Rachel Rafuse

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Is only the first thing to say about this Natural beauty. This Campground on just the drive in relaxes you. With it's perfect paved road with woods on either side. Leading you right to the office, I swear I was in a different province for a moment, or possibly a different country. The views from each campsite in the park are spectacular. Have your pick! Wooded ✔ open ✔ Thank you to Diane at the Office Check-in for all of your help. Because it was slow last evening I practically had the whole place to myself. Which I highly suggest. Diane said to simply have a peek around the park and to go pick a site I loved if I didn't want to keep mine and she'd switch me. So I did! I really appreciated that 'Homey' family feel. Thank you Carol for our wonderful chat and the extra firewood. And for speaking with me about all of your favorite campsites on the phone because you were able to that morning. You were right! #82 is beautiful!! If you're a hiker, go here. The Redhead trail is a hikers dream with views to match. With the beach nearby this park really has everything to offer. And deserves every star I gave. I will certainly be back, and most likely sooner than I planned!

Krystyna Thomas

Beautiful place to spend time camping and hiking! The view of the bay from the park is amazing! Good for day use or overnight stays. Lots of local vendors and community places to visit too.

Robyn Boucher

Amazing scenery, hiking trails & beach. Clean, quiet park & lots are spacious.

Josh Campbell

Great spot to walk along the ocean floor when the tide goes out. The trail behind the campground provides some great views from the lookouts, but you need to walk from the beach when the tide goes out to get a view of the painted cliffs. There are changerooms and a tap for washing off the mud/sand at the parking lot for the beach.

Ray Engram

Beautiful campground with amazing views. Two washrooms with showers and toilets. Can be long wait times now with Covid 19 protocols, but lots of outhouses if you do not want to wait.

Robyn Berry

Enjoyed hiking trails and spectacular views. Some deadfall and rough sections

Dan Lamey

Nice provincial park with lots of quality sites. A little open so it would be tough to stick it out if it rained for a while. Great views of the water. Very friendly staff!

Sybil Nunn

Camped here for several days and enjoyed many hikes. Check tide schedules first before wandering around the shore. I wasn't that impressed by the economy mountain trail is it came out near the entrance to the park forcing you to walk back along the road or simply double back on your tracks it would be nicer if this was a looped trail. Make sure you go check out the economy falls while you're there in the area.

This is a beautiful park on the Bay of Fundy. We camped here for four nights. Most of the camp sites are very spacious (we had site 29, which had hook ups for water and electricity). The view of the bay from our site was lovely. You can walk down to the water, but depending on where you are camped it's quite a hike back up (think steep hills). You can drive down and park by the water if the walk is too much. There are walking trails in the park and lots to see relatively nearby (within an hour or two drive). The only reason I didn't give five stars is the washroom facilities left a bit to be desired. Vault toilets are plentiful (these are outhouses), and there was one building with plumbed toilets and two shower stalls, but it could have been cleaner. However, if you have a large RV with your own facilities then this wouldn't be a concern. Overall a great park. Beautiful scenery. Very relaxing stay.

Sandra Benner

Amazing place!!! We've been here 3x. It's right up there in Awesomeness with Drumheller! ❣❣❣

Stealth Eyes

Awesome, arrived in the rain but weren't for a walk anyway. Definately going back to check out the campground.????????????

Sandy Hopkins

Big spacious sites. Clean Campground. Gorgeous sunsets. But it can be very warm, not a whole lot of shade.

It was a lot of fun exploring Five Islands Provincial Park. If you’re just there for the day, as you’re driving in, keep going beyond where the little cabin in to the sign pointing to the day use area. At the end of it, you’ll come across a parking lot with a washroom nearby. I do not recommend using the washroom as a person with lady parts as it was downright disgusting since it only gets cleaned once daily or when a worker is there during the off season. I went as the tide was receding and it was such an experience walking down the beach where the water previously was only a couple of hours before. You can walk pretty far down the beach, but beware of tide times as you can be left stranded. There is a lot to explore and places to take scenic photos. Very peaceful location with every visitor group having their own personal space. Some tips: - Be sure to check the tide schedule before visiting as it’ll be a different view depending on how high the tide is. - Bring water shoes so that your day shoes doesn’t get super muddy.

Anne Fischer

Beautiful scenery. Clean washrooms. Very friendly staff. Only had time for one night so didn't campground much.

Shawn Carson

Absolutely beautiful Campground the staff are amazing. Did not realize that the campgrounds was a giant hill picked the spot at the very top made for awesome views but a bit of pain as we were on bicycles. Would highly recommend.

One of the best Provincial Parks in Nova Scotia? LOTS of new upgrades should keep everyone content. Faculties are clean and well kept even the out house! Come experience the Fundy Tides !

Frans Sanders

Awesome spot with enormous sites (we had full size trailer and full size tent and could have done double that). Lots of great hikes, obviously the beach with its great tides. Good spot for clam digging and some rock hunting. It is a bit picked over but you can get lucky. We were her for Perseid meteor shower (always early August) and because of darkness and clear sky were not disappointed.

Malach Stanle

This campsite has been the highlight of our trip so far. Great views from many of the campsites especially some of the walk-ins. Check the reviews online to find the good ones. Great hiking to look outs and amazing views. Later just before low tide head to the beach and walk left as far as you can. Bathrooms were cleanest of any provincial park I've been to. Highly recommended

We camped here for the first time over the Labor Day weekend (2020). The views from this park are spectacular, with great trails and wonderful scenery from every angle. At night, you have a 360-degree view of the stars under an open sky. From a camping perspective, we were a little disappointed. While the sites are relatively roomy, they were un-level, wide-open and far from private. The electricity source was solid, but the water was non-potable; making your "2-way serviced site" more like a 1.5-way. At departure, with only one dumping station, be prepared for a wait. That said, the late check out time certainly helped. We will probably not return to this park for camping, but will certainly be back for day trips.

Gavin Douglas

Pleasent, quiet campground with spectacular view of the Fundy cliffs and the Five Islands themselves.

Sharon Smith

Beautiful park. Nice picnic area by beach. Changing rooms available. Outhouse type restrooms. Drove through campground and camping spots looked very nice.
