Medium size city parkland, small creek passing through the park, extra careful to walk on unmarked hiking trail that winding along the edge of the cliff. Beautiful autumn scenery, it is a perfect place to escape the city concrete jungle and just sit along the trail and enjoy what the nature can offer.

Amazing trail in the city. Happy to have visited and walked my pup here. Lots of people and puppies on the trail. Loved the views of the semi frozen waters. Really appreciated the garbage and recycle bins that were present at good intervals along the trail. Tends to be really icy in the winter so practice caution. Would highly recommend.

Great place to start your walk on the trail. The river and trees give you a serene experience inside this bustling city. You can catch sight of the salmon that spawn here in October. You can go from Steeles down to Sheppard, and probably further. The city is laying down a new trail through the woods so be on the lookout for it. Sometimes it gets very busy with hikers and you always have to be careful of the cyclists. If you are lucky you will be able to see deer, foxes, rabbits and other small critters while enjoying your hike. We are very fortunate to have this park and trail so close.

A baseball/softball diamond with stands, a playground for kids and tennis courts. These three public tennis courts are very good as public courts go, with an even and unbroken nicely finished surface, real nets and lighting. There is lots of open green space here but the best part of the park is the adjacent heavily wooded river valley with trails running through it. Enter the trail system on the south side of the park. You can walk for many kilometres on the interconnected trails to different neighbourhoods and most of it by a river or creek. Great any time of the year for walking or cycling. These interconnected valley parks and trails are some of the best things about living in this part of the city. See you on them!

Nice to have a park at the end of a trail to sit down and have a snack if you brought one. Great for kids as well as there are swings and other playground apparatus for them to play on. Having seats and park benches is very nice.

Great hiking trails. Saw a deer and small fish. Lots of birds. Paved path follows the river and smaller trails lead closer to the water. Bridges and pathways are clean and not too crowded but not secluded either. You'll see other people frequently as they walk/cycle through the park.

Such a gorgeous park! Very long hiking trail with multiple options to different routes. Highly recommend to take the abandoned off trails, some of them will lead you to stairs or small lake! Will definitely come back to explore more!

Really liked the tones of this place, went end of winter, beginning of spring. But the woody trail was too short. The pavement side was longer and nice and loved the dam side of the park. Great place for a stroll.

Well maintained park with few parking spots on the street for off hours parking. Tennis court has three fields. Usually busy in summer's afternoons with a lineup of players waiting to rack the ball outside. Bestview Park has one of the entrances to the Bestview hiking trail. Bestview hiking trail goes for few kilometers, it's a perfect city escape for hiking, biking, skating, you name it.

Busy... alot of inconsiderate cyclists that should announce themselves before zooming past and weaving through pedestrians at break neck speed. That is what bells on bikes are for! But, even a simple verbal warning from them would be appreciated.

It's kind of amazing having such a trail within the city. Although nothing spectacular about the trail, but it's pretty nice to have a mini oasis.

Great park for a run although it has a ton of rolling hills which can make it challenging. Parking is on the residential streets and not during work hours. Nice place for a walk if you are in the area.

We only visited a small section of the park but what we did see was wonderful. What a lovely gta hiking getaway. It was 36 degrees the day we visited so we really enjoyed cooling off by sitting on the rocks and dipping our feet in the creek. Trails and subtrails snake all over the place.

This 3.6 hectare park is a gateway to the picturesque Bestview Hiking Trail that leads from the din of the city to the tranquility of a forest in a matter of a few minutes. As you walk down the main trail southwards, you will see unpaved zigzag paths to your left disappearing into the jungle. An exploration of these paths may reveal the hidden gem called Lady’s Stairs. Further down the main trail, you will find access to the East Don Parklands and to some picturesque views of the Don River. Addition of a dedicated parking area and a washroom would make this park more visitor-friendly.
