The fall colours were GORGEOUS and the trails and the walk along the beach was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend bringing your dog if you have one, great place to let them loose and dip their feet in the water.

Excellent place for a riverside hangout. The river is cold and not very deep but it does the job. All the people are friendly, lots of space. Watch out for the people that live in the forest! Take your garbage out with you please!

It's close to home and not crazy busy, my dog really likes to go there.

It's supposed to be dogs-on-leash here, but since this park is secluded, there is no risk of fines. No playground equipment, a few rocks and benches to sit on,lots of trees and patchy grass.

It is beautiful, but it does not have public washroom. Parking can also be an issue.

Small park with grassy area and trees. Follow the trail into the woods to get easy access to the river. There are accessible rocky areas along the river and a small sandy beach. (Dogs must be on-leash in this park. Be careful-we see bylaw control and police visit occasionally for off-leash dogs and public drinking- especially during the summer.)
