Wonderful range of shops and great Christmas lights in the gardens

Beautiful gardens to walk about year round. Grab a coffee from your favorite nearby place and enjoy a stroll or a quiet rest along one of its many winding paths. This garden proves to show off its colours in Spring Summer Fall and in Winter with dazzling lights and sounds. A must for all ages. No entry fee; yours to explore and enjoy at no cost. These gardends are a lasting legacy from the old days of Park & Tilford Distilleries.

Great garden, such a pleasant surprise in the middle of a strip mall! Great care and horticulture. Thank you to all the volunteers who take part. To thoes who have given poor reviews: dont go to a garden in November then complain there is nothing to see. Try spring or summer, maybe even fall.

This is a beautiful little garden. It's free! I went in mid November so there were very few plants, but just the layout and the fountains and landscaping is so nice to walk through. I will definitely go back in December when the light display is up. And also in the spring and summer to see the plants.

Oasis in the city. Little gem in the urban jungle ...

It's a lovely little garden with beautiful flowers and plants. It desperately needs maintenance and upkeep. It seems like an old relic that has been forgotten with time. Some attention and TLC would bring this garden back to life!

A Must go in Christmas

The garden itself is great, nice place to walk around and a cool hidden gem but beware of the blonde lady, middle age with a European accent who works or volunteers there. I went to just take a quick look at the Rose Room to potentially book it for next year. As soon as I walked in the gate she yelled at me coz I had my dog. I didn’t see their small sign hidden behind the gate and amongst all their big signs about COVID. I apologized nicely as It was my fault and tied my dog up outside of the garden. I went back in and she physically blocked my path and started aggressively going on about how I need to watch my dog (who is a senior dog and very well behaved). I tried to explain to her that I just wanted to get a peek of the room and I would be less than 5 minutes. She went on about rules and COVID and all this BS. She clearly was using all her energy to block me out. If that’s what their job is then be ready to feel like you’re intruding into their private space, even if the garden is public.

Awesome and free small garden next to a shopping arcade! The Japanese or Chinese garden is beautiful.

This has beautiful gardens. In winter its lit up with thousands of Christmas lights. One year there were girls from some kind of quire doing Christmas songs with bells. It was so nice to listen too.

Wow! First time ever at this place. What a cute little gem. It made me feel I was elsewhere in ther world (reminded me of being in Singapore).

A little corner of tranquil paradise in the city... remember to stop and smell the roses! The pineapple mint leaves are wonderful too – just give them a gentle rub to release the oils. It's a lot bigger than I expected. A few plants and trees I've never seen before. A big thank you all those who help maintain this place.

What a great Garden! Well maintained, quiet atmosphere. I enjoy the variety of plants and the great use of space. I love the Japanese garden, was not expecting to see that, so very nice. I also love all the flowers.

Actually, this park is a “Botanical Garden”. You can see the scientific and English names of all plants. Chinese park, special sitting area, and beautiful pathway. But dogs are not accepted, except guide dogs.

Very beautiful Small but spectacular design This time of year should be nicer at evening with lightings

This is a wonderfull place. A true treasure for the North shore. It should be considered a heritage location. Friendly staff and relaxing environment with world class flora.

Great place to bring our toddler on a nice day. Get a JJ and stroll!

So beautiful! A lot bigger than expected as well.

A serene stroll through winding pathways in immaculately kept gardens is rather uncommon in the middle of a bustling urban centre. This spot is a veritable oasis of calm. Many different varieties of flowers and plants and no entrance fee :) Love it!!!

It's a beautiful place, a slice of heaven tucked away from the city. One more reason for me to be in love with North Vancouver.

Next door to one of my favorite coffee shops is this delightful escape from the city. Every time I walk into this place, my stress lowers and I just get lost in the plants. I love that they label everything so Incan learn what the plants are, and the regularly interspersed seating makes enjoying a coffee or snack while immersed in this place amazing. It's a small slice of beauty in North Vancouver and well worth a walk through all the different sections of the gardens.

When it's in full bloom this place is a great walk! It's short and sweet and smells awesome. They also have little blurbs around each plant/tree about their history and origins. Highly recommend a stop by here if you've never been! Only takes like 20 minutes to do a full trip and it's free!

It's a small botanical garden, beside the shops. It's a nice stroll and there is a small, quaint Japanese garden with water. Around the festive time of year the gardens are lit up using fairy lights and such. A nice little retreat, to sit, relax and switch off

Very nice when it's not busy. You could potentially get lost in there. It definitely has a "secret garden" type of feeling. There is a really cool bridge over a pond with lily pads, which is my favourite spot. Overlooking the pond there's an interesting shelter thing with a few seats.

Small and cozy garden park. Lightings are very nice during the holiday season

Please either update your google hours or figure something out so that your website and this page are on the same page. It says you are open and even on your website you said you will be open in February and you even have reviews from last month but I bused out here for nothing. In the future, I will be calling ahead if I do decide to come again. It's not even a gross day so you can't even blame the weather

A good variety of stores and restaurants. It's a one stop shop in most instances. I personally haven't went to the garden yet although I've heard nothing but good things about the garden.

A great garden to visit. Great Christmas lights. Free parking and entry by donations for Christmas.

Went for the Christmas Lights Display. It was very well done. Excellent Covid-19 precautions, and even a security guard. The Displays were extensive and extremely well put together. There is a coffee shop next door as well to warm up at. Highly recommend ????

Usually a very nice place to stroll through and enjoy a cup of coffee. The majority of it was roped off today - not sure why other than perhaps something to do with the pandemic. A disappointment today.

My favourite place to unwind Doing some shopping I’ll just get a coffee and a dessert and I’ll go pick a spot in there and it’s so interesting and I love the way love the plants are labelled so you can learn stuff it’s like a teaching garden too‼️❣️????❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Pretty nice, little garden with variety of plants and a few fountains.

Accidentally I have been there twice (because i don’t remember places name) and it was nice for quick walk, it is pretty small! DONT go there if you live far... this place is great for those who lives nearby.

It's small but a local North Vancouver treasure. It's always so well kept and pleasant to stroll through.

This is a lovely and lively garden in the corner of a busy shopping complex. There are lots of nooks and crannies and winding pathways that lead you to beautiful garden beds. I love the rose garden and the small Japanese garden best of all. There are often young families here, as well as older folks, with the littler ones running around to see what they can see. A cool place on a hot day, too.

The gardens are a nice get away in the city. You can almost forget about the traffic and adjoining mall for a while. Grab a coffee and stroll through any time if year, spring is if course lovely but winter is a lot of fun with all the lights too. Great place to sit and relax and no entrance fee.

A lovely place to take a stroll especially during Christmas time. They really do a good job of the lights and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Worth checking out at the very least during the winter holidays!

A very lovely FREE botanical garden with free parking as well. In the same shopping center as coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store so you can combine your visit with those.

I love the Japanese garden ♥️

Cute free little garden to check out. It would probably be real beautiful in mid summer when everything is in full bloom.

Beautiful garden during the sunnier months and a fabulous show of Christmas lights around Christmas time, put up by the fire department. A walk around the park is highly recommended and goes perfectly with a hot chocolate from JJ Bean, right next to the park. Admission to the Christmas light show is by donation and it all goes to a great cause.

Nice Garden, nothing special. Don't go out of your way to come.

It's an oasis of green with flowers. Great detour from all the asphalt.

Very quiet and quaint, historical gardens. You wouldn't think that there would be this kind of tranquility and beauty in the city and so close to a busy road, but it was surprisingly beautiful. It's part of a shopping mall so you could easily miss it. Liked it a lot.

Nice gardens in the middle of a shopping district. It is small, but they shape it well to look bigger and it offers lots of quiet areas. Free to visit, I would stop in if you are in the area but I wouldn't make a special trip unless it is during the winter and they have their lights up.

Nice quick trip to see some lights with the kiddos . Super accessible

Small but beautiful. Nice for have a quick lunche or just walk around with coffee in hand looking the plants and flowers and in this time of the year you can enjoy the Christmas lights. Great place to get out of the hustle and bustle.

Great place to come during the Christmas season.

Beautiful place to see. A small garden near a shopping arcade added excellence to our visit.

Very nice little free garden to walk around. Around Christmas time they do a Christmas lights display, this year they were putting it up very last minute and it felt very rushed and unfinished. However there is a Starbucks right beside so it's nice to grab a hot chocolate or coffee and have a little walk around while the lights are on.
