As you know, we do not usually bother to place tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Park is included in the category of Dog park.
Fun
It is a very nice place for a pit stop or chilling out on the green!
It was so buty
Did not have a dog however their were numerous owners and dogs enjoying them selves
Pretty pretty nice dog park
I don't have a dog but this park looks really nice. Saw dogs playing around having fun by the water. Nice walking/bike trail to access it as well.
Easy walk and great city views
Great off leash park for dogs, small dogs are easy to oversee. Benches and also Dios into the ocean.
Great dog park.....but people should leave their balls at home, the idea is for dogs to interact with other dogs. If you do bring a ball, bring lots cause it will most likely be stolen by another dog. LEAVE YOUR CHUCKITS AT HOME!???? let your dog be a dog with other dogs!
Great place for a walk with or without dogs
Always friendly people and dogs. The water needs to be turned back on for the dog bowl though.
This is a great off leash park, has a great vibe. We’ve been to other parks with our big friendly dog and they don’t feel like Kings Mill. Access to the ocean is great, head west to find easier access for the mutts. Lots of space for the …
Great place for dogs. Great view too
Love this dog Park! Oreo loves it here. Right by the ocean, you can enjoy the beautiful view while your dog can enjoy himself too being offleash.
Spacious dog park with amazing view of downtown Vancouver
Nice off leash fenced park. Dog's who like to swim have a chance to go in to the water. Nice view of downtown
What's not to love about a place full of happy dogs? ????
Stunning setting on North Vancouver waterfront looking back at downtown. Fully fenced but open to water. Many benches and chairs to take in views. Good mix of trees and shrubs. Water fountain and poop bag dispenser. We found other dogs and owners very friendly. Definitely worth another visit.
Good dogs & friendly owners at the off-leash park. Beautiful views of the city from the N. Shore.
Beatiful view, good place to spend time with your kids, to go for a walk, to refresh your mind. :)
My dog loves it here!!
So ????good
Fun times with mt son and sis
Excellent place to walk the dog or just go for a walk. There is an off leashed area for the pets to run freely. View of Vancouver skyline and watch the cruise ship coming and going(check their schedule) is a bonus.
Large dog run area. Parking can be a challenge at times especially on weekends. Nice sunny sea wall walk
Would get 5 stars but parking is a nightmare. As is the traffic getting there.
Good view
I don't own a dog. I just walked by it & thought that it was the most scenic & the most adventurous off leash dog park ever! Hope the dogs realize that? ????????
Nice off leash dog trail.
They removed the water stations for dogs...
Lots of parking. Good size dog park
Good place to bring your dog and get some fresh air
Great off leash dog park.
This seems to be British Columbia's cream of the crop off leash fenced dog park that I've ever gone to in my lifetime. First off the space is just massive, great scenery plenty of nature and paved paths, seating with picnic benches and a dog fountain area for drinking and to clean off the pooch. There seems to be a fair traffic of dogs so there's a good chance to socialize and play. The pros over shadow the cons but to name some things there's no big/small dog sectioning. It can get quite muddy where there's not much drainage after rain or snow. If you're local it's a great place to stop by but I'm from the Tri-Cities so it's out of my way. If I have a free day and the weather is nice I'll definitely take my fur baby there.
I have been to many dog parks in the lower mainland and this is probably one of my favourites. It has a good mix of dirt, trees, shoreline and best of all it is all fenced. They even have a water fountain and what looked to be a hose for cleaning off your dog.
Get a great view of the Vancouver skyline from this park. I usually go there at night. I find it relaxing and enjoyable.
The way down to the water was too rough for my older golden retriever. He picked his way down but we had an awful time getting him back up to park level. The ocean and shore were clean and it was a great view.
Nice , always good for my pooch to interact, dog poop bags on site is always good
I love how big this area is and our dog can play with many other dogs.
Well maintained, nice amenities for the dogs.
Fun place for doggies ????!
IMHO this dog park is the best one on the North Shore. Well managed, with all the expected features - garbage cans, water, free waste bags, etc. Thank you CNV.
Lovely off leash dog park with lots of space and friendly dogs.
Free parking for 4 hours along street. Very clean. Good.view of Vancouver downtown and West End. Water fountain for dogs. Free dog litter bags. One bench under shade. Not crowded during week days.
Lots of fun for fur babies
For a city dog park, this is one of the best. Variety of grass, dirt and pavement. Rock beach where the dogs can swim. Fresh water tap and bowl for dogs to drink
????
Such a lovely dog park with lots of seating.
Great dog park, wish there were bathrooms
Great fenced dog park! Not super large but it's right in the water and there's plenty of benches so you can sit while hour dog runs around!
Nice place. Our one year old boxer enjoyed it. Dog owners love your pet, but please pickup after your dog is done.
Dogs are good
Been going there for 13+ years. Great dog park!!
Great to let dogs off leash but a bit worn out
Love this park! Always lots great people with great energetic ???? dogs!
best place to hang out by the ocean even if you don't have a dog. there are chairs and picnic tables right at the shoreline and you can see seals chilling out in the water. I love comng here. No matter how busy it is I still find it to be quiet and relaxing.
Always a pleasure whether it be rain, snow, shine, wind its a fabulous place !
Waterfront dog walking area. Easy parking in off hours. Colder due to wind off the inner harbor.
My dog loves this park. Its big compared to other dog parks and you fluffy baby can enjoy water, trees as well as open areas for those who like to play fetch.
A very soothing place to spend the evening. If you have a pet, it's even more interesting. The canada day celebrations were very much visible from this point. I enjoyed the fireworks from here. One can watch the barges and huge vessels dock, depart and arrive. There's a beautiful view of Canada place, downtown Vancouver.
Beautiful and safe place for dogs.
Beautiful View of Vancouver from here and calm place to sit and chill
Great size with ocean to swim
Best dog park in town!
Great size dog park with ideas access for dogs who love to swim. Water and garbage available. The best part is the proximity to Thomas Haas chocolates!
Great location if you live nearby, especially for dogs who love water. The fence doesn't go all the way to the water, however, and smart dogs will eventually figure that out if left to roam. The park can get busy at peak times, like on weekends or early evening. The experience level of dog owners and the behaviour of their dogs can vary greatly, so it is not the best place for anxious dogs when it is busy. There is lots of space to run around and access to the ocean, with a pretty spectacular view of Downtown Vancouver and Burrard Inlet. The dog park shares the waterfront with a walking path and picknick area, and the view makes it a popular place for people to come. It is also an area where people affected by the housing crisis park their Vans and RVs. This means that parking in the area is a massive problem, even at the best of times, and should be avoided at all costs.
One of the best views in the north shore. Great place for a walk, although some people fail to pick up after their dogs
Great place to train your dog off leash and connect with other dogs!
A beautiful place for everyone to enjoy their time. It definitely needs washroom!
Not a complete fence. Open to the water/world
My daughters dog just loves
Perfect of leash area.
Always a beautiful view of Vancouver
It's nice to be along the waterfront but i miss the sandflats that used to be there. I see they are building more condos beside the park..great just what N.V. needs, more people.
Usually responsible Humans here.
Nice view of the city from the North Shore
Good scenery and friendly place. Lots of benches
If you like a portside manufactured park in the city. Best part is many places to sit listening to sea
Big enclosed area which overlooks downtown Vancouver. Large space for the doggos to run around and humans to take a short walk in a fenced off space
Nice downtown view, good for having a meal to eat either in the park or in your vehicle
It is a great place to go for a walk and meet dogs
Been a half dozen times this last week. 5 star location right along the ocean. Doggie friendly with benches and Pooh bag receptacles. Dogs and owners very friendly in my experience. Recommend!
Really nice beach front dog park. My little pup had a blast mingling with other dogs
Beautiful. Amazing view of Vancouver. Very large park. Ocean access. Street parking very accessible. Water and poop disposal places provided. Only downfall is that dogs can escape if they wade out into the water around the edge if the fence.
Such a great dog park - beautiful views, beach access for swimming pups and water/garbage cans. I love bringing my dog here!
This would honestly be the best dog park I have ever been to if they would fence off the entrance side of the rocks. This is a fenced in park. The have a massive area fenced in which includes grass, rocks, and the beach. They have the far end of the beach fenced but not the other side. Which I think is very unsafe. I brought my dog here thinking it was a fenced in park. I was happy when she got to one side of the beach she couldn't go any farther but when she came back she saw the opportunity to keep going and I had no way to keep up with her on those rocks. I was really scared . I think it's such an easy fix and would save a lot of owners anxiety. So if your dog needs to be fenced in consider this park not secure. They can run off.
Live this little secret space at low tide there is sandy Beach!!
Tons of space to run..
Beautiful big park closed off for a relaxing visit with a great view.
It's a beautiful walk and a place to sit too bad that they're developing the whole area won't be able to enjoy it too much longer ????????
Spirit trail... Great for evening walk...Dogs walk with breathtaking views.
Great spot for dogs to run and play. They have water fountains for owners and pets, doggy poop bags & bins. There are picnic tables as well as chairs dotted around for you to sit while your pooch plays. Large open areas are mainly gravel, so dogs can't play too hard.
Other people seem to like it.. I got no mutt
I saw many doggos here and they ran around me. At one point several circled me like sharks in the ocean and I was spooked up, but they let me off the hook and swam away. Very nice very nice.
Great Dog space , nice and large.
Saw dogs. 10/10
Nice park, beautiful Dogs!
Time is running out on this quaint, quietly popular, unique waterfront of the North Shore. Slightly North East, directly across the water from Canada Place, this has been my go to spot for years to wind down, cry, laugh, visit, walk. There is fully enclosed dog park with waterfront (I dont have a dog), beautiful walk way, beach volleyball courts. But development is going to start soon. For the next 10 years, this will be transformed from a tranquil getaway, to a 4 building, 900 unit seaside mini metropolis. I will miss the serenity that this place brought to my life????.
Great for Sun Worshipping ☀☀???????? and dog lovers. IT NEEDS A PUBLIC WASHROOM . WE ALL AREN'T FOUR LEGGED CRETATURES.????????????
Nice view fresh air good place to hangout
The best fenced spot to take your dog. The view is phenomenal and the dog owners there are attentive. There is tons of space for your pooch and yourself to enjoy and roam.
Great dog park!! With lots of free p parking and features.
Great spot to hang out with you fuzz-butt friends. My dog LOVES water and you get a nice access point into he ocean from this park. It's a rocky beach, but still a nice place to spend a half hour. The offleash area is lovely with trees and grass and great spaces for your K9 and their new friends to run around and play I notice water fountains, garbage cans and a dog-bag dispenser available in the enclosure for your convenience
Nice little park, with a view of downtown Vancouver.
My dog loves to play at this park and it's the best dog park in North Vancouver.
Cool place to hangout with your dog! Closed with fence and open to the sea
Nice park on the waterfront overlooking the city
Do they still have the engraved brass plaque telling the history?
I love this dog park so much, go every day with my little doggy. A great fenced dog park with an ocean view. Can't be more perfect!
Beautiful spot with a beautiful view over the city
I like to be at the park even though I haven't had a dog in a while, just for the company of the friendly ones, enjoy the view and relax with the sound of the waves
My pup loved this park. He was so happy to come here when we visited.
Kipling gives it Two Paws ????^^ . The dogs have a great time socializing, as do their parents. You get the odd aggressive dog whose parents ignore their dog's behaviour and shrug off the interactions as harmless play. The park is fairly well kept, again some owners are not picking up the poop. Water fountain, extra poop bags, a wee beach, benches.
Love this place always dogs here, it's fences off, it has access to the beach. Always has doggie bags if you forget. Fresh water in summer season.
Love this place so did the doggo
Great place for dogs and humans. Limited parking though.
We LOVE this dog park. We drive up from downtown Vancouver to bring our dog here, because its fenced in, and pretty large compared to the fenced-in dog parks near us. There is also grass, plenty of trees for shade and a tap so your dog can drink fresh water, and it opens up to the ocean which my dog LOVES.
Good for pokemon go and nice pics of ocean front.
Great view fresh air not too crowded
One of Vancouver's great dog parks. If you love dogs or just want to take yours for a walk you've found the right place!
Stunning view of downtown Vancouver, especially at sunset. There is enough light from the trail and high school facilities that it's still navigable after dark. In autumn, we often drive here from East Van for the after-work playtime, since there are usually at least a few dogs to play with even around dusk. Because it's so popular, there is a range of behaviour and owner responsibility. During peak times, it can get a bit rowdy by the east gate, but there is enough space to get away from the rush. Remember to bring water since the fountain is off after Nov 1st, and be careful approaching if your puppo tends to eat things off the floor, as there are a *lot* of people smoking pot in the parking area.
Love this park! Lots of space and not near a road
Great dog park for pets and humans! Fenced area right alongside the Spirit Trail which connects to Lonsdale Quay to the east or West Vancouver in the opposite direction. Huge section of waterfront gives a great variety of terrain for dogs to explore. Take in an awesome view of downtown Vancouver. ???? ????
Great place to bring your dog off leash. They offer dog bags for your dog waste. People here are friendly and there's a nice spot for dogs to play in the water. Just watch out for sea lions near by. Love taking my dog here!
Needs more City Maintenance , bicycles and children chasing soap bubbles don't mix Heidi Lee bikes need to take a different route or at least get off and walk
Perfect place to go with your little friends. You can find some nature with grass sections and trees, just in front a beautiful North Vancouver beach. There is a fountain to give water to dogs and also for humans
Highly used fenced in dog area right on the water. Great place to bring doggos to run around with other fur balls. Ocean swimming is available for the more adventurous dogs. Really a nice place to walk by the water where the dog can run at the same time.
I don't think there's a dog park with a better view and it seems to attract very nice people.
Great off-leash dog park; it's a fenced area, but big enough to throw a ball, and with access to the water.
Great place to have dinner!
It's so beautiful there. Nice view, clean area, fresh air. ???? My favorite place.
Really nice open area for dogs to run around. The enclosed space is great for letting dogs be free but also keeping them safe.
A small but scenic dog park with grass, lots of benches, and several pathways leading down to rocky ocean access. It's a great place to sit with a coffee while my dog explores the shore below. The downside is there isn't much area to run, so games of "fetch" and "chase" are possible but limited.
This is my favourite place to be. It's so calming and serene. ... I love being by the water and I love the view of Vancouver. I've been away from North Vancouver for 12 years now so every chance I get to come back. I always visit this spot... I remember it when it was called the sand flats.
north shore of Burrard inlet provides a panoramic view to the south a d west Van over city skyline , Stanley Park and Lions Gate Bridge. Has an enclosed space where dogs can at sad offeash .
Great off-leash dog park.
This place is an amazing place with amazing dogs. They just play and have fun big and small. There are many regulars to the park who bump up to eachother alot. perhaps there are some dog owners who don't react to their dogs aggressive behaviour, especially towards puppies or maybe smaller dogs. Not surprisingly most of the other dog owners don't react to fully support and provide security for their puppies and let it go on some times too far. Puppy owners and aggressive dog towards puppies owners please watch your dogs to prevent incidents, both stop and protect your doggies. Me and my dog are only having fun over there and the park is huge and beautiful with nice view of the water and the other side of city and mountains with a long trail and many benches and couple of vast wide playing grounds for your dogs.
great place to let the dogs out.....
Awesome place to bring ur dog
Great place to safely socialize dogs and their humans.
Not much grass for the dogs
We went there to eat have a picnic. I wish they had more tables there. Its beautiful there.
Great location if you want to walk your dog , the view is great , water view and view of downtown. Parking can be a challange most of time. But if you have time to wait it will come available regularly as many just park there for short time and stay in the car to enjoy view, so you will see parking opening up regularly.
great dog park. one of my favorite dog park equipped with water for both humans and pets.
Great for dogs and people.
Probably the best enclosed dog park in metro Vancouver, and it's a 4 stars...
Beautiful view
Excellent place to let your dog run free to its heart content. Grass and trees, and bushes to smell. This is not a small area. There is a water fountain for both human and dogs alike. There are quite a few chairs for you to sit and relax in while your pet investigates or interacts with the other dogs. I have so far found all dogs coming here to be very well behaved which is great as I have a small dog. We make special trips to come here as we live downtown.
Awesome dog park. Full length beach access for swimming.
Generally good, used to be mainly a small dog park
Good place, people following social distancing
Lots of sun and good views
Best place to watch sunset
Nice place, lots of pooches. Lots of free parking one block from. Or metered right next too. Take your time and enjoy the view.
The doggos there made me all the happy
Lovely very clean and relaxing place to go with your friends and family highly recommended
Great view and chill atmosphere
It's a lovely place to take your dog, and also just to walk around...dog people are always friendly!
What a beautiful site to see at Kings Mill walk, the city and Creek full of birds. Must see
This is our favorite off leash dog park. There are always other dogs to play with for our Fido and benches for dog owners to enjoy water and Downtown view.
Great ocean side park!
Great dog park. Big area. Beautiful at night.
Great ocean front dog park
Nice city views... Great fenced in dog park
Pleasant scenery, nice place to walk the dogs, nice place to sit and relax. However, don't think that this is the type of place where you can let your untrained dog off-leash. There are far too many ways for a dog to get out of the "enclosed" space.
Great fences off area along the shore. Benches, water, lots of area for the dogs to run.
Not very big, but great if you need to let your dogs off leash
I had agood time so did the dog
Not the best but wonderful view
Great off leash section by the water!
What a wonderful trail for walking
Beautiful and scenic views, it was refreshing and a great place to unwind.
Beautiful park with an amazing view of Downtown Vancouver!
Good place to walk the dog but only one unisex portapotty...went to watch Canada Day fireworks, great view direct to barge but limited restroom availability
Great place to sit and watch the harbour traffic and people as they go by
great place to bring your pets
All I can say is.. Whoever created this park for dogs are brilliant. The dogs ran fast..exercise, and meet buddies. Soo happy
Right next to the water, one fenced area to take your dog off leash.
Pretty view, friendly dogs and owners
Not a higher review because it can get a bit rowdy there at popular times of the day or week. I have a bigger dog so when it's crowded I avoid it because I'm concerned that she'll squish a small dog. Not all owners watch their or control their dogs well but early mornings are usually nice there.
