This Park belongs to the category of Park.
Place of beauty, fresh air and family friendly.
This place has it’s own beauty and you can visit here in any season. Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring all are very beautifully presented here.
A great park with a view across the lake. On a clear day you can make out hte Toronto skyline in the distance, and the fort across the river is beautiful as well.
Beautiful scenery, little beaches area, nice big picnic area
Very scenic, great for a Sunday morning stroll, lots of benches, very nice! ????
Very beautiful place to visit in the summer time. Quite and relaxing. Your kids can play in the lake shore while you rest closer to a tree.
Very excited spot to visit . Clean park nice views.
Beautiful and peaceful place
Perfect view & nature
What a view! Enjoying an ice cream at this lovely place was like being in a fairy tale. Recommend visiting just in time for the sunset.
Nice place to relax & enjoy the view. Main market is also at walking distance.
Beautiful place with amazing scenery and the view of Lake Ontario itself. There's a gazebo located at the entrance of the park which attracts alot of folks for photo ops. ????
Such a nice place to take pictures and spend time with friends, great story behind.
Nice, scenic area. There's really no beach, so not really kid-friendly, but lots of open spaces, and pleasant to walk around for an hour.
Beautiful, a bit busy, nice view to the lake, paid parking just next to it, open public washroom.
Limited parking, lovely views, short walk along water, tiny beach sandy on shore but small rocks in water, popular with families on weekends
Awesome views, best Lake Ontario view
Beautiful spot where the river meets the lake
Beautiful view of the lake and a great path by the water
A great spot for playing on the beach such as building a sand castle or swimming, even kayaking with Niagara kayaking at 45 front st.
Beautiful, calm amd serene. Bike, dog and stroller friendly
Just a gorgeous view overlooking the lake. Clean and well looked after. Could use a couple more picnic tables but it’s just a nice place to hang out. Lots of room for the kids to run around, play a bit of football even and just enjoy the view and the pleasant breeze off the lake. With a view of old Fort Niagara across the water and even a view of the Toronto skyline on a clear day, it’s just very picturesque.
Lovely place for a picnic and to have a dip in the waters of Lake Ontario. You can see the Toronto Skyline albeit a lottle far away. Nice place to relax. It was a bit crowded but then we could get a decent place to put our mat and beach chairs to just lay around and have some fun with kids.
Absolutely stunning view of Lake Ontario and the Niagara River. You can see the United States on the other side. Very little people and tourist.
Queens royal park is the most romantic place on souther Ontario peninsula, its a must place to visit for couples. Mark my words you will cherish it once you and visit it. Just on top of Lake Ontario with visible US and Toronto skyline.
Very nice clean and quiet place right along the niagara river. The gazebo was picture perfect. You can swim close to the river and also walk along the river trail.
Very beautiful spot to relax and watch the waters edge. I park the car and take the dogs for a walk around the area.
Super fresh air, relaxing and it's a nice place to do yoga.
Great place to walk, cycle and relax. Just next to the city. Worth a visit if passing by Oslo.
A lovely park to hang out at with access to the water. ————————— For more food and travel, follow me on Instagram @yamisohungry
Beautiful, Peaceful, easy to social distance!
It's a nice park with ample space for day use/picnics and with a nice view of lake Ontario and fort on US side. There is a small beach type area as well, overall it's a place worth visiting if you are in the town.
On a clear day you are able to see the Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington Skyline. Just to the right is one of the forts on the American Side. On a hot day some have even taken to swimming in the water. Others were taking Kyaking lessons. There is a path where you can walk along. Few picnic tables, and the lawn well kept to sit on the grass.
Best place to enjoy the beauty of sunset near the river shore and feel the purity of nature.
Beautiful spot to look out at lake Ontario. You also get a great view of Fort Niagara across the lake and there's a gorgeous gazebo
Smells like fish but a nice park with a great view
Beautiful view of Lake Ontario and Toronto skyline on a clear day. Not too busy. Short walk from historic old town.
Its a small nice and clean park. Good for a picnic day out with friends and family.
The unknown is so close. Never knew this beautiful place existed. Being there so many times makes it even more fascinating.
Amazing place to spend time with the family, sharing food together, play some outdoor games and enjoy the view
Nice and quiet. Perfect for a picnic.
Everyone knows about this cute little Gazebo Inn Niagara on the Lake! It's a short 5 minute walk from the main street through the historic district. From the gazebo you’re rewarded with amazing views of Lake Ontario and Fort Niagara across the river. There's a small Park beside the Gazebo that you can walk around and if there isn't any ice you can jump right down onto the beach. During the summer this is a popular spot for weddings and photography so make sure to visit early in the day for the best photo opportunities. There are some beautiful homes in the area and it's worth exploring the surrounding neighborhood before making your way back into the town center. Apparently the Gazebo is haunted. Keep an eye out for any ghosts that might be wandering around nearby.
Whats not to like about Niagara on the Lake. Had a nice picnic lunch right at the mouth of the Niagara River
It has been one of our favorite places to go enjoy the panoramic view and delicious food. Lately it gets too crowded and some people are irresponsible, they litter and make the place look dirty.
Great place for lakeside picnics or walks. Hint is to park a block to the the left while facing the park on Front Street. The parking is free compared to the Pay and Display requirements at the park or directly in front. NOTL is not a Tourist Friendly place when you take into account parking. The will ticket in a heart beat. They now monitor parking to as late as 8PM 7 days a week. We used to be able to park for free in the evening after 6PM until 2016 when attending the theatre.
We didn't plan for a swim. Just put our feet in the water and sat at a bench. Pretty nice on a hot day. Nice view. Lots of kids throwing rocks at geese.
great picnic spot! the beach is very rocky and a great view.
Was great, only washroom ???? needs a little bit more clean up
Last park on the South side of the Ontario Lake before US. You will see ,where Niagara river married Ontario lake. A lot of 175 years old houses .Great escape in the summer!
Niagara on the lake Canada. A must visit in the summer time
Love going by the water after strolling the old strip of Niagara on the Lake. The view is nice, can see the states and on a clear day can see the Toronto Skyline from here
One of the quiet and nice places to walk and take a break every time we visit the falls. We drive to Niagara-on-the Lake, find some place to eat and take a walk to the park, where the view of the lake is just perfect. There is this island jutting out of the lake with a wall around it. It looks like a prison or a fort. I have been trying to find out the name of the place but cannot figure it out. Hope somebody, someday will be able to tell me.
Such a beautiful spot to watch the sunset or soak in the lake views. The park setting + beach are clean and easily accessible. Views of Fort Niagara are spectacular from this vantage point.
A view of blue waters from the lush green grass, a perfect spot for a picnic with your family or friends.
Very relaxing. Nice town. Make a stop here on your trip to the falls or go up here to take a break. Eat at the river on the benches.
Beautiful setting, had a picnic lunch under the shady trees. Swimming is possible as well.
Nice and quiet park. Great to spend the day with family. Lots of parking and clean restrooms
The place we got married 23 years ago is still one of the most romantic walks in Niagara. You will almost always encounter a wedding or proposal if visiting on a Saturday. Grab an ice cream or baked goods at the many terrific shops downtown and take a stroll along the water. The new renovations have cleaned up the shore and you can lounge on driftwood seats and admire the view of US Fort Niagara across the water. Tip: visit at sunset for spectacular views of the Lake Onrario sunsets!
A beautiful place to spend the evening.. there are many vineyards and wineries on the way to this marvellous place.. parking Is right outside on the road (paid).. a graceful gazebo is present at the centre of the park.. a small beach area ( …
It is such a beautiful place. You can see Toronto skyline far far away but the park is perfectly laid out, with all of the amenities. Definately a visit when in niagara area.
A nice lakeside view with the Mississauga fort in the backdrop. Has a short lake side walk and lots of place to sit down and spend time.
What a place to hang out. Highly recommended for sunset photography and sidewalk with water
Amazing place very peaceful
Just visited, a couple had arranged their marriage proposal with light decorations and very private fire work by lake next to the gazibo. It was really beautiful and romantic.
Amazing view of the lake, very calm and suitable for a relaxing evening
A small park with peaceful lake and river views. A path allows easy access right up the the water's edge. The historic homes surrounding the park make it a great place to walk and sightsee.
We traveled to the Niagara region after visiting the falls with plans to sit somewhere nice and have lunch. We seen Queen's Royal Park area and the parking lot then said perfect. Picnic tables around and lots of people with families and others using the trails for walking, hiking and bike riding. I found several spots that were open from the tree lines and took some pictures of the Niagara River and also with a powerful lens photographed Youngstown across in the USA. Loved the park and views.
Went here recently with the family. Beautiful, calm and just down right lovely place to hangout with family. Plenty of paid parking available and the washrooms well maintained as well.
A calming and nice view, but there's not much activities to do in there. (To visitors, you'd need a car to go to this place)
Very peaceful place with a beautiful view !
This place is so beautiful, actually all City is.
This is a beautiful park. There are swings and a wading pool for kids and parents, and smooth wide walking paths, with flowers and trees for lovers, Instagrammers, and the elderly.
A very beautiful place along the shore for a stroll. If you need to get away from the crowded streets for a bit, just walk towards the River where you will find this lovely spot to sit for a bit or take a light stroll.
Nice place ton picnic
Very nice park, easy access to the park and easy to navigate inside the park. Plenty of trees offers unique photo opportunity, just sit or walk around and enjoy the beauty of the water and beautiful nature and actually it is nice in winter, Summer, Autumn, and beautiful spring.
Nice place to enjoy summer
Very nice. Fun to see the US naval base. Would be great to have a boardwalk
The park is located in a residential area and a close walk from town. It's a fairly small park with some open space to lounge around or play in. On a clear day you'll be able to see Toronto's skyline across the lake. Just a note that barbecuing is not allowed here. There's a gazebo and fun fact about it: the gazebo was built for the movie "The Dead Zone" with Christopher Walken and was subsequently donated to the town after filming was completed. There's public washrooms and paid parking in a small lot and street parking as well.
Amazing view of the Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Niagara River.
Good place for a picnic. Drive through the old city is magical, and if you drive through the surrounding vinyards and wineries, you get to see some nice houses and estate.
Beautiful park with a wonderful lake front. It has a pergola, picnic tables, benches and a long walkway along the lake. There is also a paid parking and a washroom building on site.
A nice place to visit with Family.
Nice spot for a stroll while in Niagara on the lake.
Very pretty and relaxing away from the rush on the streets
Beautiful park.. nice view of where Niagara River meets the lake.
Beautiful place to visit in falls. The streets were looking so colourful and beautiful. The park is very nice place to seat and relax. Evening time is the best time to visit. Sunset looks so beautiful. The trail near lake was so clean and best place to walk with lake view. The park was huge and it has some beautiful locations to click pictures. The only issue was parking. They have many parking slots but its little bit far from the park.
Nice place to visit with the kids!
Crowded park, with few picnic tables and lack of parking! Pictures were taken late afternoon / evening when the crowd had dissipated. Maybe there are other parts of the park where it's not as busy but the main area with the gazebo is almost always packed.
Beautiful park..
Beautiful location to walk, picnic or click pictures. The gazebo is perfectly picturesque. Peel your eyes to catch the Toronto skyline. In the warm weather, you can take a dip in the water. Parking is paid.
Beautiful park. Has access to the lake and is close to Niagara falls. Excellent spot to have a picnic.
Every season the view is awesome and also nice place to have a wedding pictures
This place is amazing! Great view, nice feeling. Very clean. I think maybe it's a bit problem for wheelchair accessibility for some areas, even like that you can enjoy part of the park and the amazing views. Niagara on the Lake it's a nice town, very special, very organized. Plenty parking space all over the town. You can enjoy the old architecture, have an incredible lunch, ice cream and buy some souvenirs. You can have a relaxing time at the Simcoe Park, families and kids are really happy here, playground, picnic tables, clean washrooms, accessibility. So Niagara on the Lake it's one of my favorite spots in Canada.
I often come out for a walk here. The scenery is good and you can feel the refreshing feeling if you walk for a while. People passing by are also kind and nice to take pictures. It is a good place to take a walk with your family and it is a very convenient place to park. It is also a good place for children.
Cute scenic park with a small beach.
It has been long time since I visited this beautiful park. Vibrant colors, beautiful flowers and unique plants lots of great places to walk ????♂️ around and enjoy the beauty of nature ❤
A quiet and lovely place where River Niagara joins Lake Ontario. Parking is $2.75 per hour. A must visit for all.
Excellent view of the lake with a backdrop of USA. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. You can also see Toronto downtown skyline at the horizon on the left, once the sky is clear
Beautiful place very relaxing a romantic place for dating and picnic..
Perfect spot for any evening walk, Sunday family time or even something special - engagement/wedding photos. Upscale area.
Calm, relaxing and clean..where here for geocaching..
This is my favorite place to go when I lived in Niagara. The scenery is superb. Although it's windy in winter, the scenery is still beautiful.
What a beautiful place. I was only for 1 hour due to the tour I was doing. It has a great view and the gazebo it is a good place to take some nice photos. The lake in front is one of the biggest ones in the world. The town is also really beautifull. Everything is decorated with flowers and the architecture it is something.
A small lakeshore for friends and family...a perfect picnic spot if u have right company
Beautiful park overseeing majestic lake. Looks amazing every time of the year. And now it made itself even more special for us as I got engaged in the gazebo this February!
Nice park at Niagara on the lake... Very windy so bring a coat. Great views of American fort Niagara. It's not very big so could be full. You always have to pay for parking.. 7days a week. Public washrooms available. As mentioned it's a small park.. you can find more green space down the road.
It's a great anc clean park in Niagara-on-the-Lake (probably the most beautiful little town on eastern Canada ????????), loved it there Parking is expensive though But definitely worth it
Always a joy to visit the waterfront in Niagara on the Lake Thanks
Cool place. Nice for taking an afternoon photo of the lake. Very popular with families for a pic nic. If you are in the area, place is a must visit.
This is hands down my favorite stop for when we’re back in Niagara. I remember driving over when I lived in the region for gorgeous sunsets in quiet and relaxing setting. However, it seems to be getting busier. It is great to see people enjoying it but it does take away from the coziness of the location
It's a good place. Very peaceful. There is this one very big mulberry tree where you can pick mulberrys of the tree and eat. Its rly nice for a picnic and great place for a swim.
Beautiful view of the lake
Great place in winter also for shoot
A beautiful place for visit, You can take a gorgeus pictures, ride a bicycle and eat a delicius ice cream
It was amazing to walk on the shore of lake huron
Very nice spot. Wonderful view of Niagara River flooding into lake Ontario. You must pay for parking (like Everywhere else in Niagara area!) Idea. Grab a takeout from Gyros on the Lake Ave bring it to this park to eat! We did, awesome.
Love this little adorable park in Niagara on the Lake. A very nice place for a stroll by the lake.
A great place to relax and take in the beauty of the Niagara River, watch the boats or snap photos of Fort Niagara Park. It’s also a great place to take photos and go for a walk.
Nice sunny day and spectacular views! Plaque celebrating swims across Lake Ontario and a very nice gazebo! You can see across the water to NY state, Old Fort Niagara. First built in 1726 by the French, surrendered to the British in 1759, then falls to the US after the American Revolution, before changing hands again during the War of 1812.
Very nice park. Great views.
A wonderful place to visit for a day outing.
So beautiful and amazing place . It is peaceful too . Must visit with family for fun . ????????
A good view of Niagara on Lake . If it is not foggy you can see Toronto downtown with CN tower. There is always a gentle breeze which keeps your mind every from all the disturbance And enjoy the beauty of nature. There is a walkway where you can walk along the shore of river. The best route is you should follow the Niagara Falls parkway route from the falls view point using the Riverside drive. The nature is so beautiful and you can have small pit stops in between to enjoy the nature. Cycling will be best to the trail. There is a lot you can see during the trip
Amazing place for a picnic or just hanging put by the water.
Great place for walking and relaxing
Neat and clean
Wonderful place to have a picnic and walk the little town. Enjoy the walk on the lake. You can see the US from across the water. Great for the family. there is reasonable priced parking nearby and plenty of shopping and restaurants around
Lovely area. Lake Ontario looked nice. Visited Niagara on the Lake too
If you are visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake, stop by at Queen's Royal Park for a relaxing walk in the cool and breezy surrounding. Nice little beach and beautiful view of the lake. There was also a plague commemorating individuals who swam across Lake Ontario. Interesting to note the ages of swimmers and length of time taken to cross the lake. Nice spot to take some beautiful photos of this place framed by matured trees, beach, rocks, gazebo and lake. Not crowded maybe not many people have discovered it yet.
Very quiet during lockdown. Great place to stroll along the lake and take in the beauty.
Beautiful , scenic park with a promenade and great views of the lake. Gets fairly busy on the weekends and if you are ok to sit on a picnic blanket , you will find a spot. Not too many picnic benches. Small (tiny) beach where a few Young 'uns were playing. Close enough to walk to Queen street and cover all of NOTL on foot. Lots of people were rafting and paddle boarding . The only downside ( if you want to call it that) is that cell reception was an issue, irrespective of provider.
Gorgeous place to stop and look out at the water. We really enjoyed walking and sitting here!
One of the mos relaxing places even in winter time.
This was such a lovely area. It was great to find a place away from the falls and shoppers and tourists. It's was great to just sit and relax and enjoy nature for a bit. Some great opportunity to take some lovely photos, too or an area to let kids run and play in the water.
I've taken some great photos here and some really cool time lapses
So scenic. A lovely spot to just relax and chill. Its right across the border from the United States! Interesting perspective
Beautiful view. Parking has to be paid for by the hour. Sometimes the gazebo is already rented so it can't be used
Mind-blowing view, Place of peace.
We love this place. We spend more time here than at the falls.
I will always come back to enjoy this beautiful park.
Amazing view and clear water even for swimming
Beautiful
Had opportunity to drop in on this wonderful place with breathtaking views of the Niagara river region and lake and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great shoreline for watching the water crafts navigate their way. The park area seems to have undergone some recent work but everything is open and accessible.
???? wonderful beach view. I always love the sea and its beauty as Mariner. There are the trail and bbq spaces to have fun and relax.
Great place to chill. Parking isn't outrageous and there is ample spaces so you aren't too far. Washrooms are pretty clean.
Nice view, a little boring tho
A lovely view over the river. This park is very popular with family groups and tourists. The mature trees provide welcome shade on hot days. Take note that you must pay to park in the parking lot. We didn't notice the sign and got a $25 parking ticket.
Scenic views of Lake Ontario, overlooking Fort Niagara on the American side. Other than that, there's the usual park stuff; trees and such. There's a cool gazebo for photo ops if you're into that sorta thing. Parking is paid, about $5-6 for a few hours.
Stunning place. Great for walks as long as it isnt crowded. Looks pretty during fall and beautiful during summers too
Fantastic parc on the lake Ontario
A very beautiful place! Park has few picnic tables and nice view of the Fort. There is a breathtaking walking trail by the water.
Beautiful view of lake. Great place to watch sunset.
Awesome little park for a picnic but be sure to pay for parking as I quickly was given a parking ticket..
Great place alongside Niagara on the lake, the parking lot is a bit small but there is street parking. There are washroom facilities which are on site. Great place to park if you are doing any Niagara on the lake rides via bicycle.
Nice place to relax, during the week is best to visit because weekends parking is limited
The view is breathtaking ... Niagara-on-the-Lake is one of those places what you would like to explore.. the stores, food and the people .. the whole place is fantastic ...and then this park overlooking the Toronto skyline And beautifully landscaped ...totally worth every trip
Very nice place to walk with your family and your dog. Water is clear and place is clean
Went to the end with the small beach and walked up and down the path in the evening. Beautiful spot to view the sunset. They have picnic tables and plenty of green space for spreads. Saw the Toronto skyline on a nice clear day.
Lovely... Simply beautiful.
Nice place foe evening walks
Beautiful place to visit with family and friends.... parking cost is reasonable....close to Niagara falls... Ideal for a combined trip if you go from outside of town.
Very beautiful park very scenic great view of lake ontario and historic Fort Glen great place for a picnic or to just sit and listen to the waves crash in
Nic park on the river. Excellent paths for walking.
Beautiful park - lots of history. Short walk but continue north past a few homes and follow the Niagara By The Lake Golf Club path to Fort Mississauga.
Beautiful place to have a nice day with your family and friends
Clean Park and little activities for the kids to do. I would come back here. The stadium is well kept and there are things to do surrounding the park that are within walking distance.
A nice small park with a great view of lake Ontario and Old Fort Niagara across the lake in US, in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake city. There's a beautiful Gazebo at the end of the park. Plenty of benches and tables are provided to enjoy the lake breeze with your family. A reserved parking space is not available. But there's both pain and unpaid parking by the road side. Free road side parking was available in Prideaux St 5 mins walk away from the park with beautiful view of the city along the way.
Small but nice park. Parking lot is not free. Busy on the weekend. New York State is on the other side of the river.
Such a calm place, you won't want to miss the opportunity to relax by the lake.
A must see and visit area in Niagara on the lake.
This place is amazing! Very serene and healing. Been there a few times this summer.
Beautiful quiet place with rainbow colors in sky
Amazing place! Clean and quiet! Perfect for photography! And you can see the US border on the othr side of the lake
Nice place to spend some family/ friends time and beautiful view.
I had a nice picnic with my mom. The park have a lot of benches and tables. I enjoyed snacks while seeing the sea. If you go there, you have to pay parking fee yourself.
It's the best place I recommend for rest on Niagas way, You can rest, have a breakfast or luch( there is no any restaurant near there) and then after relaxing you can continue the way
Beautiful waterfront spot, plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the views, within walking distance to many shops, cafes, restaurants. Also close to a park with a playground for the kiddos (& a washroom)
Lovely stop during the winter. The sights are beautiful. Due to the low temperatures, the tides froze and we could walk 'on the water'. I definitely would recommend stopping here if visiting the town.
One of the picturesque part of Old Town Niagara on the Lake!
Great spot for picnics, bbqs or dipping your foot in the warm water. We went on a Monday and it was not as busy. They had washroom facilities available that were cleaned hourly. The water is nice and warm, it is a bit windy, but perfect for a hot summer day. Will definitely go again.
Very nice place for relaxing or family time and some water activities
Lovely place for a picnic....or even a wedding if you planning one!
Beautiful views. Perfect place to relax and eat.
Relaxing quiet spot. Totally enjoyed my stay. Definitely worth seeing
Nice and very well maintained, clean little park. It's possible to see the Skyline of Toronto in good weather conditions. A lot of seating there. It's close to the notl historic old town.
It's a great park at lakeshore.
Niagara on the Lake is a gorgeous place to visit, clean and beautiful, charming.
Beautiful place lots of trails great for family outings
Very quiet and beautiful... great for a walk
Great place for a walk on the lake, enjoy the sun and if you are adventurous enough, swim a little bit.
A very pleasant place to walk or relax.
Nice serene secluded lakeshore. Amazing to walk on path beside lakeshore
Beautiful space to have a picnic.
Beauiful, wonderful and a must see place in N. O. T. L
Just a short walk from Queen Street, this beautiful, charming park is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a picnic while you admire the fabulous views of the Fort across the Niagara River, the sailboats gliding out onto Lake Ontario and on a clear day, the Toronto city skyline. This really is a must see spot in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Such a nice beach and warm water. We went for kayaking and it was perfect. However, it was too crowded. Specially during this pandemic. So many people were at the beach and were not practicing social distancing.
Great view and nice walk along lake side
Nice place to hang out by the water. Great for taking pictures. Paid parking all around. Better to go during the week than on the weekend. Great gold course nearby.
We stumbled onto the westernmost area of the park about 10 minutes before sunset. It's only a week after Labor Day and there was plenty of free parking in the small lot. A wonderful happy surprise. No filters used. Beautiful!
Beautiful day and surroundings!
Very nice park, good view of the lake and lots of trees for shades, not enough tables and chairs but that can be handled with portable personal chairs. You can take nice shots here,
Most quiet place, beautiful view!
A great location with wonderful views. A great view of fort Niagara, and Toronto city scape. The landscaping typical of Canada is well manicured, perfect for a picnic.
Beautiful little scenic park with great views. You could see across the lake to Toronto.
Sorry no photo. At the mouth of the river meeting Lake Ontario where the US and Canada are within earshot. Great views, great walking. Lots of picnic areas. Great green space. Was busy with families.
View from the park. Nice small park to relax. You can walk from King St. By the Old town of Niagara on the Lake
Very beautiful park! Brought my family and portable bbq for a good time, however, there's a new rule that prohibits BBQ'ing on site. So we had to shut down. Regardless, it was a good day. Washrooms are open. We were lucky to get a picnic table with a gorgeous view of the river. You can go on a short walk too. 100% recommended. Make sure you get there early to get the best spots.
One of the best and most beautiful park in the area. It was even a place used for a movie filming in the past. It's easy to go as well from downtown Niagara on the lake. You can enjoy the sunrise or sunset view from here and across the lake is the view of Fort Niagara, the one located in New York state, the American Part. It's serene. It's wide and there are many benches here as well so you can sit and enjoy your time with your families or friends. There's also a toilet facility around the area, public parking and it's a walking distance from the theater.
A beautiful place to visit ! Serenity at its best!
Nice park that overlooks part of Lake Ontario. A good place to sit and relax. It can get busy at times especially during the weekends. Apparently, you can rent kayaks and take it out to the lake, I believe this is worth trying. There is parking but it can fill up quickly during busy periods.
It's a great spot to sit down and look out on the water. On clear days you can see Toronto. And there is a historical site you can look at too. The gazebo is picturesque. There is a lovely little path anyone can walk along and it's right next to the water. Can't wait to go back.
Best place in Niagara on the falls. Grab a cup of warm coffee/ hot chocolate and sit by the water. There are enough benches/ grass/ rocks to laze around.
Very nice park on the lake shore. Sat on the benches overlooking the lake, wandered over to the gazebo, walked along the shore path for a while. Quiet and well-maintained.
The location is 5 star. A perfect family picnic spot for a warm sunny day. Unfortunately the washrooms are closed at this time( but you still have to pay for the parking!)
Nice place for a picnic, apparently very popular by families. Despite the rain, it was full of people. There's a small beach and enough space for playing outside games but it is quite crowded in summer.
Nice place to spend the day with family
Great place to stop for a picnic or take in the view. There is a charge for parking my but machine was broken when we were there so we lucked out.
Lovely park and waterfront walk.
A beautiful feeling on a sunny day, seating on the rocks, see and hear the sound of the water, feeling the breeze in your face, is very relaxing, I really really enjoyed been there.
Beautiful place is so relaxing and peaceful I love it
The absolutely perfect place to see the sun setting on Lake Ontario
Beautiful place to take a break to enjoy the view. Great place for a picnic with the little ones. Lots of benches and a small beach for the kids to get their feet wet.
Good mid sized park
This is a beautiful park and a must visit in Niagara-on-The-Lake. This is a very historic site so when you visit try to learn as much about its history and the importance to Canada as possible.
Nice little park on the lake to relax or have a picnic. There is free parking up one of the side streets.
Represents a straight line from downtown Toronto across Lake Ontario. Many have either started or ended their swim across the lake from here. Was more of an informal gathering place before all the renovations made it more substantial and definitely now a tourist draw and must stop for pictures when in NOTL. Also reportedly haunted as is most of NOTL.
Lots of fresh air and Happy people. Very clean and wonderful view.
Beautiful view of the lake. There are a few benches to sit and enjoy the view. Picnic tables are available, so pack yourself a picnic lunch and enjoy.
Beautiful location with a lovely view of the lake. Super cute gazebo, too!
Great place. Amazing location. Enjoyed it with family and friends.
I love the place while roaming around..one of the best tourist attraction..
Super nice but small beach area, lots of rocks in the water tho, the bf went in not a lot of people there did tho was still pretty cold in may, nice gazebo everyone takes a photo op, and there's amazing views of the fort across the water! The bathrooms were open, but tricky even during stay home orders to find parking and the parkjng will cost ya!!! But fun time Niagara on the lake then just chillin in the sun!!
Another must see destination. Small lake front park located in the city of Niagara On The Lake. While visiting, I discovered the gazebo located in the park was where the gazebo scene was filmed for the 1980's movie The Dead Zone starring Christopher Walken. So it was fun to hangout in the gazebo .. being a big Christopher Walken fan !
This is probably one of the best spots of you plan to visit Niagara on the lake. You can spend some time by the lake and then explore the fascinating town and lovely eating joints at a stone throw distance. The parking is paid and hard to find but not difficult to the point of frustration. If you walk along the shore line you can see the point where the Niagara river meets the lake Ontario and some well preserved historical sites
Absolutely stunning small park with a great view of the lake. It is a small walk from the main street on Niagara-on-the-lake. Across the water you can see the outlines of the old Fort Niagara, in New York State built sometime in the 1700's. It has several picnic benches in summer if you plan to sit down for a quick bite. There is a rock wall along the water edge that provides additional make shift seating and an excellent back ground for pictures! Parking is paid and somewhat limited so if you have already parked somewhere around the main street, just walk down to the park.
I had a beautiful time there. The view was formidable
I love this park because of the historical building and that you can take a book Alo g with you and enjoy a peaceful afternoon reading.
Beautiful quiet location in Niagara on the Lake, can see over to the fort in the USA. Love watching the waves come in.
Just seating on the rocks looking across the water and listening to the sounds of the water hitting the shore is so calming. A nice place to relax.
Peaceful and relaxing place, gorgeous lake view
Nice location for a picnic lunch. You can rent a Paddle Board and enjoy a dip in Lake Ontario
Feel the peace. Feel the breeze. Embrace your zen
Beautiful park where the Niagara River hits the Lake Ontario with an amazing gazebo.
Confluence of Niagara River into Lk Ontario, great park for picnicking, kayaking, wading, horseback riding or strolling.
Beautiful and tranquil. Great place for a walk or a date.
Nice and peaceful. On a good day you can see Toronto in the distance. If you are in Niagara on the Lake then definitely stop here.
The best place to relax. But you get t watch people walk around and picnicking.
Haven't been here in years. We e-biked to the park then walked along paved path beside the water. Lovely experience.
Lovely spot for a picnic or just chilling with your sweetie
Beautiful view and can see the American fort across the river.
Great scenery and tons of local shops nearby
It's beautiful, nice place for family and kids. Green space and water to cool off
This was such a cute little town/excursion from our trip to Niagara falls. They had kayaking tours and lots of family picnics going on. Definitely a fun place for fam and kids.
We went on a cloudy afternoon, but the view was still amazing! You can see Toronto from afar.
Just beautiful, but too many people stick on the gazebo, break the beauty!
Been coming to this park for a few years now and I love it every time.
Cool spot to see the power dam
Great spot to look across the lake and on a clear day see the Toronto skyline. Directly across the Niagara River is Old Fort Niagara which is located in the USA. Everyone loves pictures in the gazebo which was rebuilt in 2015. The original was built for the movie The Dead Zone in the early 1980s.
Very beautiful park and great view
Beautiful park to enjoy a nice day. On clear days you can see the Toronto skyline from afar and also across to Niagara in the US.
Yes! Yes! Yes! To this beautiful place! Lots of flowers, trees and nice atmosphere around.
Beautiful pit stop with the kids - great playground and beautiful scenic views of the Niagara making it's way to the lake
A beautiful and free park at Niagara-on-the-Lake right by the lake. Plenty of places to take pictures and always plenty of people around. It is a very small park so you can walk the whole thing in about 10 minutes. And you can see the USA across the lake from here. Be careful after it rains as the shore is slippery. If you visit Niagara on the Niagara-on-the-Lake, this is one of the first places you should go.
I love coming to this park, great views and so many good spots to lay in the grass. When this park isn't busy it's so peaceful!
Beautiful place in the morning. Gets too crowded on nice days
Beautiful park. So close to Niagara-on-the-lake. Great for pictures and picnics!
Awesome to see the states and how close we are and to imagine the battles that when on here. You can actually see the American fort very well from this point. Expect a lot of tourists. But it is definitely worth checking out. If you don't mind a lot of people, you can even have a picnic there.
Extremely busy places. The view is beautiful but too many people in the small place, which will annoy you. There is the public washroom here but you have to wait at least 20 min to get in.
Beautiful petite work with a modern set of play equipments for kids, a pizzeria opposite the park and docks to fish at as well. We enjoyed an evening with friends and did some fishing here.
A beautiful little Park at the mouth of the Niagara River where it enters Lake Ontario. My only negative was that all parking in the immediate area was metered.
Lovely view, close to the main street.
Beautiful place to walk around.
Great view
Nice view of Niagara River, Lake Ontario and Old Niagara Fort on the other side of the border.
it's a wonderful place to visit. normally it's way too busy to come here, but during this pandemic, crowds are much lower
A great place to spend a relaxing weekend. Just pack some food and drinks and you can a great day there.
Nice stroll next to the water Picnic or small family to go out to and relax
Great place to spend a day. Not too big so can be packed easily on weekends. Nice place to kayak or SUP. Located at the end of beautiful niagara recreational trail so you can pick this as your bike trip destination. Bunch of rocks to sit down and relax.
Beautiful park. Drive too fast and you might miss it. On clear days you can see Toronto in the distance.
Very clean. Has a good atmosphere and beach. Also has a cool view of Toronto. Nice place to have a picnic and play with friends and family
Wonderful views at dusk.
Clean park, nice view at sunset over the lake, enjoyed watching the sailboats going into the river & out to the lake.
Serene and soothing views. NY and Toronto on both sides. It seems like you are on top of a dome world.
Beautiful just so peaceful really clean
It's a gazebo with an excellent view. It's surrounded by beautiful old trees and water, what else do you need? ????
Nice little walk around water! felt like Victoria park in Charlottetown ,pei. And this town even have "COW'S creamery Prince Edward Island's ice cream shop,a must try place in this area. Too much crowd during weekend ,if possible go during weekdays . Surrounding area is also worth exploring!
With great view and nice grass, it suits gazers and group of friends or family for picnicking. Standing on the hill, a well-known Victorian gazebo has been visitors’ must see.
Will ticket your car even if you have a handicap permit. Was only parked with less than 30 minutes and got a $25.00 ticket. Niagara on the lake hates visitors !
Fell in love instantly. The view is amazing. Only the bugs prevented me from staying by the water long
Had a great time lovely park
Recommend you include it in your list of places to go in Niagara-on-the-lake. The main street is nice and can be a little crowded, the parks are a good break to take in the views and relax before you start discovering again!
The place is amazing to have a wonderful outing with family. Its not packed most of the time. Instead You can maintain social distancing and still can have a great time.
Busy but awesome place to have nice cool scenic view n relax On the shore line.
NIAGARA ON THE LAKE A place with history, pretty shops amazing restaurants and beautiful parks.
Very nice ladies at the counter. Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. Also the food was great.
A beautiful park with beautiful scenic beauty. A busy place though. And ice cream shop or shops, and other shops nearby. Definitely recommended.
Beautifully maintained park. Excellent view and lush green surroundings!! Experience relaxation & peace of mind away from the stress of the city life.
Love to sit and look over the lake. Or walk my dog on the path
It's a nice place to take pictures with a great view of the Ontario Lake. You can also swimming and do barbecue, but it isn't the best place for that. There is a public parking nearby.
Very nice place to visit and go for a walk along the lake.alot of restaurants to go to.
Nice park with the view of lake. Also good place to walk around as the town of niagra on the lake is close by. 1 more thing, perfect place for a picnic and fun activity. Overall recommend it to everyone.
Awesome place to spend the day. You can do your own barbecue, and enjoy the Lake View. Only downside is paid parking, which on a weekend is hard to find
Lovely small park to relax , have a meal at bench and a short walk along the water. View of calm waters, sail boats and sone houses across, feels like watching a painting from 16th century
Very nice park bike trails walking trails along the lake. View of Fort Niagara across the river. Clean public washrooms
Great location but stairs were too icy.
A nice park for a family get-together.
Very peaceful, nice views from the water. A quiet fun place to hang out
Beautiful and serene. The view is amazing and the sunsets are beautiful. You can see the old fort on the American side. Well groomed and manicured like the rest of NOTL. They have a bathroom here that is well kept. I wish everything in the bathroom was contactless. They have pair parking.
Amazing place to relax and chill with family.
Nice spot to chilling in the morning I also so some ppl with kayak going in
The park has a nice walkway along the lake. Plenty of benches to sit on and take in the spectacular view of the skyline
A beautiful place to enjoy the water and views. You can see the Toronto skyline on a clear day. Highly recommend this landmark!
A place to spend your day away from the city. Not crowded like Niagara falls, good place to have picnics and or just spending time with the family.
Amazing park. Great view of Lake Ontario.
This place is very beautiful, you will enjoy the view, Ontario lake crossing that old Niagara fort which is part of USA. You will be able to see the Toronto sky scrapper buildings including CN Tower. …
Visited last Friday, adequate parking, clean washrooms with attendant, lots of empty benches but small park.
Best place in Niagara Region. All age group of ppl will love this place. Highly recommended.
Great place to visit
You have a beautiful view the lake, it is a relaxing location. Great place for a picnic.
Gorgeous veiw. Little bit of rocky water when you go in
Cold day but beautiful place.
Wonderful park. Wish it was longer.
Wonderful scenic spot to stop for a picnic or just sit on a bench and enjoy the view out over the water.
Beautiful park for exploring on a nice day. Incredible area for a walk and drive
Beautiful views of Lake Ontario with the Toronto skyline in the distance. This park has a historical legacy tracing back to the 1600s The site of the War of 1812 and you can see Fort Niagara which is across the Niagara River on the American side. Perfect for picnics and family gatherings.
Ontario parks in general all are awesome and great places to be at. Just one thing about what the mother fu... sorry the mother nature is doing sometimes: there was 1,000,000 small bugs at the lake even we couldn't finish our walk close to lake trail. I have some photos to the ..... bugs, but I won't post them ????
Such a soothing place to go in the evenings. This is a must place to go if you are visiting niagara .
Quaint town with a lot of wineries for wine tours and wine tasting.
Very nice, clean and comfortable to just relax for minute or more:)
This is a great place to take a morning or afternoon stroll. Beautiful landscape with great walking paths, perfect for the whole family. Many rocks or benches and picnic tables to sit at along the way.
Beautiful park , well maintaned and beautiful views out over the lake.
A nice, serene place to visit. You can sit or take a walk and enjoy the waters. I enjoyed talking a walk along the waters with a coffee.
Very nice park with a great view and a great city beside it, however was crowded considering social distancing.
Nice place to visit a little beach area to stick your feet in
a beautiful place to sunbathe, have a picnic, it also has spaces for grilling. It has a bike lane with a beautiful view of the river.
Gorgeous floral arrangements and some nice educational historical signs. Not far from the city center, or lake Ontario for a nice view.
Been here several times over the last few decades. It is a tranquil park with a nice walking trail and ample spots to have a quiet picnic. Parking can be difficult to find around this park, so best to walk here when possible. It also boasts a famous gazebo which was featured in a scene in the screen adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dead Zone. So for fans of the author and the movie, like myself, it is quite a treat to see it in person. Overall the park is a nice place to spend an afternoon, with a nice view of the lake.
Lovely place beside the lake ( Niagra on the Lake ). Metered parking (approx $5.00 for 2 hrs) .Ideal place for a picnic , family benches available. Saw a number of people paddling and swimming as well. Clean washrooms with sanitisers on the premise as well.
This beautiful park is great for families to have picnic especially in summer. Once saw a wedding in the gazebo. The lake view is simply breathtaking.
Lovely child- friendly park with splash pad.
Very nice place, park was not overly crowded and washrooms were clean and open! Also was easy to find a parking spot.
Fabulous lake front on the Niagara on the lake. Nice view for the lake. Good for meditation. Very calm. Nice view of Toronto. Good for family picnics. I come here very often and it is a really good place.
Very good for walk and cycling.
A pretty and unspoilt little town with quaint shops ...full of character ..queens royal park is lovely too ..has picnic tables so would be ideal to have a picnic overlooking the lake in the summer ! (Heavy snow when we visited early Feb )
Wonderful scenery of the huge lake. We had a great day with the family everyone was content. I really recommend visiting this park.
Beautiful park/beach on Lane Ontario where we had breakfast and enjoyed the ambiance/view. Would do it every morning g if I lived there.
Very nice place to just relax..
Just sitting watching the water is breathtaking.
Nice place to go when there is no crowd
Lovely little park at the mouth of the Niagara River. On a clear day, you can see Toronto across Lake Ontario!
Beautiful lakeside park to relax with your near and dear ones. Parking is quite difficult to find as the place is mostly crowded. There is few paid parking available.
Good to calm myself down when I see the placid water of the lake.
What a lovely peaceful park overseeing both the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. It features a small gazebo, picnic tables, a short walking trail, bathrooms, and a tiny (stone/pebble) beach (not 100% sure it’s part of the park though)!
Nice place to eat a picnic. Good beach.
So nice to relax with a packed lunch.
Beautiful park. Washrooms not clean and ppl in wr not masked. Crowded park today.
Beautiful sights good pics too
You can see Fort Niagara on the American side through the picture of the Gazebo. This picture is of the old gazebo which has since been replaced. A nice park to relax and watch the world go by.. Niagara On The Lake is a place of beauty and flower beds that are maintained by the city works department. This is another great motorcycle destination with great eateries. A tourist mecca with history, shopping etc.
Its a beautiful place and you can walk into a cute street with amazing shops nearby. The park itself doesn't allow any bbqing. That was a little problematic.
Beautiful people observing social distance. Not crowded. 4stars because we got a parking ticket. Didn't see the sign.
Very nice place for family, not too big park ,small parking area ,washroom is available in park.
Beautiful place for a stroll. Can see Toronto skyline and CN tower far in the horizon and US fort is just across the river. Although you can't see the sunset but the twilight is beautiful.
This is a great place to visit with the family. There is a small beach with a great view of downtown Toronto in the distance. It's a very calming park to sit down and relax in.
Beautiful and clean. Gorgeous sunset
Hottest day of the summer and LOTS of shade trees. Going back with a picnic!
Beautiful place! Had a picnic lunch with my girl's group on our weekend getawayat NOTL. Parking, washrooms, and a good view of Fort George after touring the Main street of NOTL!
Nice views of the Niagara river where it flows into Lake Ontario. Limited parking that you must pay for, gets really busy by late morning into the afternoon. Washroom facilities are very good. Lots of benches and pick nick tables. Have been there many times. You can then drive along the Niagara River Parkway and follow it to Niagara Falls. Very scenic route.
Fantastic location for a walk, food or drinks on the various locations to choose from. Amazing place for a great evening.
Nice place, beautiful view. Tranquil. Really worth a look for the photo op
Amazing beachside park with breathtaking scenery across the pond. Ice cream and other snacks within walking distance.
Lovely little space. Clean with lots of space for picnics and family outings. Benches by the handful. Public washrooms are also available
View of American Fort Niagara and the Toronto skyline.
Busy park, still peaceful and fun to enjoy with family, friends & the rest of the public. Great views on clear day.
Very nice, clean park with great views and a uniquely built short trail to explore.
Very nice gazebo in a very park!!!!
Love love coming to this part of Niagara on the lake. Such a gorgeous place with an even gorgeous view. Cute little local shops and one of the best icecream shops around. Would definitely recommend you come and check it out if you're ever around the Niagara area. Only downfall, it can get busy so its harder to find parking. But with a little patience, you'll be glad you made a trip down.
Great place to visit for picnic place warer is not too deep and even children can swim and Great place
A calming peaceful place! Visit several times a year.
The view was gorgeous, highly recommend to to there to enjoy the beautiful beach and sunset. Parking will be free of charge after 8:00 pm. Really good place to go.
Great views of the river and many places to sit in the shade.
A great spot to sit and relax, maybe even have a picnic by the lake.
Beautiful waterfront place for a romantic sunset
Beautiful park! A must visit if you are in the Niagara Falls area.
Clean, amazing scenery but very crowded during long weekends.
Good park, along side the lake. Plus the paid parking is very reasonable.
Only bad thing is that you can't do BBQ there. And you have to be careful with your parking ticket stub . If it's not displayed properly you will get a ticket. Although you may for your time.
Beautiful beach, can see Toronto downtown on the sunny day
Great location! Lots of trees for shade and clean washroom facilities.... And the most wonderful view of lake Ontario
It’s good place for Hiking and explore Niagara surroundings... have to book tent in advance or else have to look for empty benches. You can easily spend whole day over there if adding places like floral clock , Niagara-on-the-Lake and peach picking.
Beautiful view and reminder of where many newlyweds have had their pictures taken!
Great views and open space with lots of greenery and nature all around.
There was some rare sea birds reported here, was very excited to see them
Nice city offering excellent scenic views. The public washrooms were still closed though in Mid March.
Great place to see Old Fort Erie and Lake Ontario. You do have to pay for parking, but it is only 2 blocks from the main road in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The park is located just beside the lake and the views are amazing. It is a popular place for photoshoots due to the lake views. There is metered parking available just in front of the park but you may also park in the surrounding streets where free parking is available. There are several benches to enjoy the view and a few picnic tables for a meal with a great view. In case you need, there is a playground only 150-200 meters away from here in Simcoe Park
beautifully maintained park with awesome views of the lake.
It’s a lovely park, away from the falls and shoppers and tourists. Great place to just sit and relax and enjoy nature and to take some lovely pictures. Crystal clear blue water and the walkway around the beach add to the experience. A must visit place when you go to Niagara on the Lake city. It was a wonderful experience.
Very relaxing and clean, nice to be on the shore across from Fort Niagra.
Good park with washroom facilities. Good waterfront view.
Beautiful place.. just the place to spend quality time with loved ones. However, expect crowd even during current pandemic situation
