Mr Brainz

Went there for 4th of July fireworks ????. I didnt walk around so im not sure if the park is great or not....maybe next time I will explore ????

Raee O_o

Awesome huge park to walk through.

Brian Archie

Mile n' Smile Walking Club meets every Tuesday. Beautiful scenery, clean and well kept. Will enjoy throughout the summer.

A Kirk

It can be a really pretty and relaxing place. There needs to be someone there that makes sure the rules are followed, people pick up after themselves, and graffiti isn't done. So much open area, so many more things to have there!

Adam Leech

Hyde Park was great. We’re on vacation and needed somewhere out two year old could let off a little steam. She loved the slide and swings. The park is clean and has updated amenities.

willie mathews

He did a little fishing with my brother and his kids, definitely enjoyed it

KalderiusUSA

To the person who mentions NOT to go in the water... of course not, there are snapping turtles big enough to take down geese in there! Just ask any of us who were born/raised/live nearby!

Tanya Shepherd (Tasty716)

Way too many people in the time of covid-19 era in one place wearing no mask at all. Children of way too high of an age range to be hanging out in the park overpopulating all of the things for the little one's.

Evan Kaminski

Given the lower end price range to golf here, it's a great value for folks who are just starting or a bit rusty. Fair mix of 3, 4 and 5 par holes without a great deal of hazards. It's always frustrating to lose a golf ball, and I find this course to be very forgiving. There are some rough patches/ areas that need some TLC, but in the end you get what you pay for

Catrice Pippens

Upgraded equipment since the last time that I have visited, and this is a plus for the city as I noticed that all/ most of the parks have new equipment! There is also a variety of equipment for the kids to switch up and play on for the duration of their park visit.

Dom S

Lots of parking and lots of inexpensive good coffee.

No parking cops dropped the ball for 4th of July spent most of the time in traffic ... Mediocre fire works display I've seen better in my back yard Sorry JS I know nothing of the actual park it looked decent probably will go back some day to check it out

JoAnna Ward

Family friendly clean park. Parking and picnic tables are in abundance. The green is broad and good for frisbee and kite flying. Swings, slides, tables, and good for workouts, jogging, gatherings like birthdays and family reunions.

Amie Shelter

I loved taking my children here. We could spend the entire day there. There's something there to do for all ages. It truly is the gem of Niagara Falls.

Shawn The Motivator Brown

Nice park in Niagra Falls New York. The park had quite a few kids playing, it was very clean.

Christopher Taylor

Very nice hockey rink

Sheri Fairchild

Its a great park but I wish more people followed the rules or maybe that the rules were better enforced. Cars driving & parking on roads & grass where there are clearly visible signs saying "no vehicles beyond this point" is my biggest beef here. Specially by Duck Island. Unless its a parks vehicle or police car- ANY OTHER CAR (or truck) SHOULD BE IN THE LOT!! NO EXCUSES! No unloading, no BS! Walk your stuff over, stop being LAZY!! The park is beautiful. The people, not so much...

Jey Mendez

Great place to bring children to play, good picnic spot!

Patti Strzelczyk

Great ice rink for the teams and a pub for the parents!

Yani Cruz Stgo

Nice, depending on the day and time. On low peak times, is quiet and safe. Other times there's suspicious looking parents with lots of cursing in front of the kids, and you certainly feel like you are in the hood.

Andre Martin

My grandson had a ball flying his kite????????????

Donald Madden

Very being able to help honor the falling warriors

Susan Stephens

The park itself was nice for the kids. Until you walk on the rubber mat and another of it is broke and crackes

Dee Daniette Par Dee-Lewis

I love Hyde park! So relaxing! I go there in the summer to clear my head, or look for some peace and quiet. Only downfall is that the restrooms aren't always open.

Morgan Bird

Great for kids and adults wanting to get some walking in.

Mike Richardson

The park is huge. The playground is also huge. Has 3 areas depending on age. But the bathrooms are still closed that was the only downside. Other than that it was a great place to take the kids to let them play. That wasn't the hotel pool.

Clarisse Hayes

The WIC Festival is always a big hit along with the Splash Pad. It is always clean and safe, parents really look out for one another’s children and it is generally a nice park to relax or have tons of fun in.

Angry Bob

The construction seems to be taking a while, but doesn't it always? I like to take my kids to play on their playground. They have sets for different ages. Lots of pokemon if you like to play pokemon go!

Steve Oelheim

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a nice facility inside. Warm locker rooms and good ice for the skaters. Seating area is awkward but ok. Nice big bar for pre-gaming. Dinged 1 star because there isn't much food selection, and you can't see the rinks from the bar.

Donny 'The Big' McCoy

Nice enough for picnic parties. There's an Updated kids play ground, though the area with the swings, slides and other play things is a rather small space. It can tend to crowd the kids, and regular type people as well, together a bit. There sometimes isn't enough playground for everyone and some have to wait and take turns and what not. Gill creek, running through the park, is stocked at the beginning of every summer. Usually with Brown Trout raised in captivity, so ????corn is usually a good bait, sometimes their known to bite on little pieces of raw hotdogs too (Welcome to Niagara Falls Folks) Along Robinson road, which wines through the park from Pine Ave. to Porter Road, there are a few sets of fenced in tennis courts. Though the nets can sometimes seem to be kinda just "calling it in" when it comes to the sag to firm ratio. The grounds are made from a softer than concrete material.. perhaps clay, I'm not sure. Again just off Robinson road, between the sets of tennis courts is a fine stone building. Inside is an ice skating rink and I think they still have a game room, if not then just a few remnant games. Continuing up the road 20 or 30 yards, just across the parking lot from the Ice Pavillion are two volleyball courts. The shakey nets on the tennis courts mock the ragged, crooked, uneven sad excuse for volleyball nets.. but the grounds folks allow us to put up our own nets. Which is cool considering they are same who keep the bathrooms locked after constant badgering from the volleyball players every year. There are electrical outlets found right next to the courts too. Good for charging cell phones, powering. Stereos and anything else you may want or need to plug in.. but keep your head up, if those pesky grounds folks see you using them they are sure to cut the power to the outlets emediatly. Continuing up Robinson around the bend, over the bridge, out behind Sal Maglie Stadium, a great place to catch a game believe it or not. If there are ever any games even held there anymore, I don't know. But continuing on down the road along the .. ball diamond/ football fields to the next stop sign you'll see duck island to your right. Parking can be found across the street kitty corner to the left. Duck island is a simple but pretty cool little island with a nice Pavillion built on it. There are steps leading into the creek (But do not, under any circumstances, ever enter the water. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't. Thanks. I hope you found this accurate and informative

Its ok park ????, why because close to lake or water a lot of ???????????? of birds or dogs. So be careful if you want to sit on the grass. Near the water a big stadium. We visited to see fireworks and it was spectacular???????????????????????????????? !!!! Happy 4th of July! May this day be a symbol of peace, prosperity, and happiness in our lives. God bless America and the people who live here! I wish you and your family a happy great day!!! ????????????????????✨????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Needs cleanup but it's a nice park

Brett Batesky

The park is a beautiful place to walk the dog or have a family gathering. Overall the park has great amenities for everyone. Some are showing there age more than others but overall a great and peaceful atmosphere.

Steven Heylek

I have not been there in over 5 years. The improvements they made to the park are absolutely mind-blowing. I love this place, always have and always will. I highly recommend it to anybody, whether they are family or whether they are a couple spending time together or someone by themselves. You go there and you'll have a great time.

Patricia Densmore

It is a very nice park. You can walk through it, picnic, rent a pavilion for a party, or just & relax. There is a playground for children & you can fish in the large pond.

William Lutz

Was there to see veterans memorial very nice people who served and those who died in service

PETER WCISLO

Played the front 9 and it was terrible. The city kept it in better shape when they ran it! Poor drainage, greens should have been aereated last Fall, not late Spring. The Red 9 was in better shape before the city closed it. I lost 4 balls in the fairway "hayfield".

Annette Melcher

Went to the Hyde Park Rose Garden it was beautiful.

Bug Bradley

Meh. After all these years there could be some changes made

robert morehouse

great views good place for kids to burn off energy

thaddeus sendall

Love it. I have lived in Niagara Falls for 12 years and just started taking my young sons fishing here. The park is beautiful and peaceful. The fishing is fun.

Darkest Eye

Such an interesting walk along the water, with signs detailing what's going on, and metal stencil posts all along the way of honey bees and hummingbirds. There's no pavement, making it like a therapy treatment for your feet. There is a tiny …

Jeanine Zak

They need new seats. They're better off just putting the bleachers in on the other side the new side.

Gene Blair

Very beautiful place for family and fun activities we will be back very soon

Beverly Maines

Lovely picnic spots, shady with views of the lake and geese or ducks - great playground too!

Ashley “Ash” Smith

It's very large, open space to play tennis, football field and track. Just dont bring any food, the gulls come out full swarm!

Mary Tillman

Great place to take your family lots of history!! And fun things to do. Great place to have a picnic, play volleyball, run, ride your bike, fish, see a baseball game. I'm also glad they put in the new playground. Overall nice park

Bill Bos

Lots of different things in the park. Play ground, picnic tables, war memorial, and other stuff. Also a little lake to fish in.

George Chesser

Very good place for kids

D Quinn

Nice park but its always packed and a lot older teens hangout there and they hug the Swings and Slides from the little ones.

Susie Shimamoto

Nice park for families. Offers a variety of amenities for a variety of activities throughout the year including picnics, playgrounds, kayaking/canoeing, fishing, volleyball, tennis, lawn bowling, horseshoe, baseball, swimming pool, ice rink, spray park, veteran's memorial, ... Something for everyone!

Jamie

An older municipally owned ice rink facility that has recently seen some very nice updates in the facilities. Have participated in youth hockey tournaments held in the facilities and have been pleased with the administration and the team mixes. Close proximity to Niagara Falls.

James Metro

Just went there to view our world wars memorial since my family name's is etched on it and some of my best friends but the park needs to be updated all the parks in buffalo getting up dates why not our parks it's like stepping into a time capsule

Christopher Nowak

Its a very big park with something for everyone they have baseball diamonds, boce ball courts, tennis courts, volley ball, a hockey rink playgrounds for the younger kidd a splash pad a swimming pool a veterans memorial wall, fishing grills for cooking out covered pavillians and much more

nflong1

At least the grass is cut and they stock the water with fish every year. Far cry from the fun playground that used to exist here though. The veterans monument is nice, but is the ice skating rink still open?!? Oh well.

Sam Calkins

It's a very nice park lots to do its nice and clean good fishing nice for walking.

Martha Mitchell

Lovely park in our city. Plenty of place for people to move. There's also a skake park, splash pad for summer fun for little ones, an ice rink(indoor) and a ton more. Come check it out!

Jessica Blackmon

My go to park with the grand kids for much fun????

Tone Long

Great park to bring the kids or have a family outing

Tanner Bedard

Hyde park is the best value golf in the area. The course is also in great shape, with nice greens and fairways. It plays pretty easy but there is some challenge on a few holes. I highly reccomend!
