Loved this place as a kid and it has retained it's beauty since then. Has two areas, an upper and lower. Both have open areas. Tons of trees to catch some shade. The upper level has an enclosed dog park for small and large dogs. Lots of trails for hiking. The trails are of moderate skill level and clearly marked. All in all a great place to explore.

This park includes two great dog parks, One for smaller breed dogs and another for larger to medium breed dogs. This place is perfect for off leash fun for your furry friend as well as benches, shaded areas and a paved walk way trail for you while your dog plays with the other dogs. Everyone is friendly, Its a great place to enjoy!

I love taking my dogs for hikes here. They have gravel trails for those muddy days. Very helpful keeping the pups clean. And I like how they have a dog park with separate parks for small and large dogs if my dogs are up for socializing. And good snow hill for the small kiddos

Very nice fenced dog park. I take my GSP to the large dog side of the park and he loves it. There is a small dog fence area as well. The large dog fenced area is quite large and there is a pathway that I like to walk. It's nice to get him off leash but I can also walk unlike a lot of other small parks where you just stand around. Outside of the gate there is access to fresh water for the dogs. There is ample parking and it's a very short walk from the lot to the park. If you have kids, there is a structure close by too. Recommend checking it out!

Love this disc golf course! Everything is in great shape and beautifully maintained! Only problem we have is the pond shot (#17) but we mostly skip it and take par unless we feel especially brave. EDIT: Found 17b (secondary basket away from water! Thanks ????)

This is a nice park but it's right next to Niagara Falls 'Dog park' which is HUGE....makes me envy the dogs lol. Seriously, not many human parks are this big and open. Ps, the lower section has disc golf with baskets w/chains.

This large dog park is my dog’s favourite place on earth. There’s a small dog park beside it, as well! Both have a walking path with benches alongside and picnic tables making it pretty disability-friendly!

Took a client (doggy) there to the large enclosed dog park. Not entirely well signed but made it to the correct parking lot without too much concern. Could be a better path from lot to the park instead of walking thru mud and wet grass to get to the path within the park. The dog park is busy and there are lots of different dogs and people. Some friendly and some not so friendly- goes for both the people AND the dogs. So, be careful and keep and eye on all.

Stopped here for a VW rally. Very nice park but not nearly enough parking to accommodate all the people that tried to attend. Had to park on the street and by the time we got back to our vehicle there were others as far as you could see.

Disc golf course well maintained and a ton of fun! With 18 holes installed, the full course is a great challenge with some good lefty holes and a couple water traps. Careful on 17! That gap is a killer! Great course!!

Firemans is truly a wonderful spectacle filled with wonder and awe you could honestly explore the place for a couple days and still find something new. I dont recommend going in the middle of the night but it adds a whole other experience...

Great disc golf course. Some open 300+ shots and some shorter wooded shots. Well marked, except for 9, which you need to follow along the lake to the right. The disc golf is at the lower parking lot. Washrooms at the upper park. Although it's 2 hours away from our home, we will be back when in the area.

Whenever we're in Niagara we take the kids to firemen's park to run off some energy.

We actually only used the leash-free dog park. Loved the amount of shade and seating available, a walk path for owners around the perimeter and available water with catch basin/bowl. Should have both taps working though and the 2nd entry gate to the large dog area repaired.

My daughter's cadet Corps even had a couple FTX weekends (campouts). This park builds memories for years. Let's keep it clean and preserved.

Gorgeous park sitting on the Niagara escarpment with two levels, top level has bathrooms, recreation center, ampitheatre, off-leash dog park and kids park with a small picnic area and the bottom portion has a large pond and woods that the Bruce trail runs through, good for mountain biking, hiking and trail running. Unfortunately, tobogganing has been banned there, it was the best place in my youth.

One of my favorite parks in Niagara. It was a fantastic park as a child for tobogganing and general kid activities, and still a beautiful park to hang out in as I get older. Lots of nice trails and a beautiful lake down at the bottom section. A playground and dog park at the top. Lots of shady spots.

We are visiting Niagara falls and this park couldn't be more perfect! It is really beautiful with many mature trees for shade, has benches in good locations for watching the kids play, bike racks, and picnic tables! Kids are loving it. Its a simple park with lots to do!

Big park in a suburban setting. It almost feels like being in the countryside there. Be watchful of ticks and mosquitoes in the summertime. On July 20 2019, they will host the Day of 1,000 musicians where they make an attempt to gather 250 guitars, bass, drums and singer to perform 12 songs. A good time was had by all last year and this year will be the same.

Fishin Mishin- Niagara Charter Pond has ok fish .. I hear ppl are eating them they are containated big time.. but I can put ppl onto more aggressive or plentiful fish ... This was a wonderful park for a peaceful ramble. The lake is a beautiful focus for the basin of the park, with grassy areas, paths and meadows. There is a very large pavilion if shelter is necessary. The abundance of trees, shrubs and wildflowers is endlessly fascinating. The wildflowers fringing the edge of the lake were wearing their Autumn colours and leaning over to preen at their reflection in the lake. I really enjoyed several hours spent looking and enjoying the fall colours. Several groups of young people were training for distance running, while at least two groups were playing frisbee golf, but all of them were pleasant and accommodating of others in the park. This park is a treasure.

A small dog park with a nice area to walk around if you're just looking for a stroll. There are two separated areas for small / larger dogs. Events are hosted here every so often (such as carnivals, short races, etc) and there are a couple canopies on the property for protection against the elements. There's also a small playground area for children.

Huge fan of this place. It has the best dog park in the region, with fenced off areas for both small dogs and larger dogs. This is key, because if you own a small puppy with a lot of energy (like myself), it helps to know your little dog won't be messing with guys 5 times his size! I've been going here for quite some time, and the people are generally very friendly. Pretty much all dogs who frequent are well-behaved, which makes it a great place to socialize your canine. If you're a dog owner, I highly recommend checking this place out.

The playground is great for kids. There are lots of mature trees to provide shade on super hot, sunny days. The dog park is great, with a separate enclosed area for dogs under 20lbs. There is a nice paved track in both parks-perfect to push a stroller around while watching your pup play! Outside the dog park areas, there is a pup water fountain. When there are events, parking can be difficult. But for every day use, parking is a breeze!

I Love Thursday night's. Steve Burnside does an awesome job organizing the talent for Thursday night's 2hr of mainly Blues music. The park is well maintained. Fresh cooked food and adult beverages are a pleasant addition. SMOKE FREE park but sometimes there's jerk(s) who has to wreck it for the upper level people. This a pass the bucket night but every cent goes towards maintaining the park and facility. Thanks to volunteer too. Great place and great times. ♡

Firemans Park disc golf course SUCKS!!!! If I could give this disc golf course zero stars I would. I have played numerous courses and this was absolutely the worst disc golf course I have ever played in my life. I was visiting from the states and was excited to play a disc golf course in another country even if it was just Canada. The course was confusing. We searched for over an hour and never found the tee or hole for hole 2. Heres some free advice. Mark your tees. How bout put a map on your website. Put up a sign that shows course layout. As a full time Firefighter I am disappointed my profession and our name is associated with this course. Cant convey how disappointed i am in this whole experience and strongly recommend no ever comes to this course unless some changes occur. Thanx for a horrible experience.

The dog park was beautiful! What a well thought out plan for this dog park. I love that there is a concrete pad between the double gate. There is a dog fountain as well as one for people. Paved walking path through the park, among lots of mature shade trees. And some benches for resting. And lots of space for your fur babies to run!

A very nice park with a playgorund inside and many benches and picnic tables. The park is well maintained and there is plenty of parking available.

Dog park, bandshell, Bruce Trail, picnic area and more. Dogs should be on a leash - coyote citings... And sir, your aggressive dog should at least be wearing a collar.
