The park seems to get a little nicer every time we visit. There's no playground for the little ones at the moment - hopfully one will be added back next year.

It's a very nice place to go to get some walking in around the track. The War Memorial is beautiful and the in ground fountain is a very nice touch. Good job Mount Pearl ????

My family and I live in Mount Pearl and we love going to St. David's to: 1. Hide and find painted rocks. #nlrockart 2. We enjoy taking in the events offered by the city - movie in the park, live music, fitness classes. 3. Having picnics on the grass in the summer time. 4. Walking the Loop with my dogs and children. Very well lit and clean. 5. My toddler enjoys playing on the playground near the park. 6. The memorial corner is excellent to honor our veterans - especially for Remembrance Day. Some criticism/suggestions I do have are that: 1. I wish they had additional pieces added to the playground (soft play/durable foam like mats down like St.Johns and Paradise to make them more family friendly to include even children with disabilities). They recently removed a rusty high slide but have not replaced it. 2. Wish there was a splash pad area. Kids and families use to war memorial fountain (which I dont blame them because the park should utilized by families) but it seems wrong in some ways to do it... I almost feel disrespectful. I wish there was a designated splash pad area for kids to use. 3. Mount Pearl is known for frosty festival and its winter community activities. I wish the walking loop could have been constructed to be a skating loop. Residents of Mount Pearl need to travel to Bannerman Park to utilize their loop. Having our own would be more convenient and attract more families to want to live in our already beautiful city.

This is beautiful city park! There are at least 8 picnic table to use throughout, a war memorial with fountains, a rock climbing area for children of all ages and the young at heart. And a stage area for outdoor concerts and such. It is not at all crowded and it's a shame as this is a great place to enjoy a nice sunny day in Mount Pearl.
