Nice park, friendly staff, but the road to get there is a washboard shocking since it's listed as a highway.

Awesome little waterfall. This place needs paved roads on the way in, it would increase park attendance!

One of the few places left to see wild Atlantic Salmon jumping a natural falls. Truly one of the most beautiful sights in Atlantic Canada.

This park really impressed us. We had a 2 night stay and it was the best campsite of our roadtrip. The most exciting part was that the big beautiful river was only something like 100ft behind our site, visible from our tent. The powered washrooms were clean and often empty, and there were also some well maintained outhouses stationed conveniently around. The walking trail to Big Falls was incredible, with partially wooded paths that can be steep but offer some really memorable views. Also, grey jay birds are friendly and abundant here! Though, this was also the buggiest campsite we stayed at, there were a lot of misquitos and wasps. Also, for those with nice cars and trailers the park is not paved and the long dusty dirt road to get there is an adventure of it's own, including some big holes and abrupt dips. Even so, our experience here was unforgettable and we are going to be back!

A great park! Not a ton to do, but very relaxing and the falls were beautiful with lots of fish jumping. However, be aware the the roads are VERY rough for about 10km on either side of the park - do not attempt in a small rental car like I did!!

Came to see the salmon jumping up Big Falls and was not disappointed! Only gave 4 stars as we didn't stay at the park, just spent the day.

A beautiful river with salmon working their way up stream over a falls: a photographer's delight. Salmon fishermen can stand in the water or sit in a boat, photographers can sit by the shore and use their big lens. Awesome.

Sir Richard Squires Memorial Provincial Park convinces with stunning landscapes, including a spectacular waterfall you can watch from different observation decks. There are only two minor problems related to this stunning park. First of all, the road leading from Cormack to this park is difficult to drive and filled with numerous potholes. Secondly, there was no customer service at all when I arrived, so I had to ask an experienced visitor for directions.

Jenn Griffiths

Our only complaint was a chilly shower in the morning. Otherwise clean and comfortable facilities and spacious campsite. Great angling and stunning views.

The Big Falls are very energetic and inspiring like the salmon who jump over them. You can see them when the river isn't high. Old style campground in amongst the trees.
