Beautiful place to camp.

Great little park off the beaten path, but worth a detour. Spotless and pristine in a beautiful seaside setting. Great sites with privacy and views. Take the nature trail for a great hike. Lovely spot

(Translated) Nice little park very clean. The water should be boiled. (Original) Beau petit parc très propre. L'eau doit être bouillie.

Hyper Dingle

Was a long workout, might have to stay off my feat for a while.

We stayed a couple of nights at this park. The two gentlemen running the park were wonderful. They fought over which site was the nicest and the guy with the terminal one. We saw the other site too and they were both great, flat for our TC and on the water, but the one we had included easy access to the water and a granite knob sticking out into the bay. I awoke early one morning to get the most incredible sunrise images over the far shore and islands. We also hiked the trail out to the head and enjoyed it greatly. The park is something like twenty minutes (an easy drive) from Twillingate and twenty in the other direction from the Beothuk Archeological Site - right in the middle between them. We met the park guys again and again and racked up a few hours, I suspect, sharing stories and learning about Newfoundland.

Beautiful park with so many campsites with a view of the lake. Washrooms clean with laundry facilities. Water treated with UV, we drank it for a week, no problems. Staff were very helpful, friendly and worked hard to keep the place spotless. They even have recycling bins at every site!

We came all the way from Kent, England to take part in the famous Dildo Run through the Park. We were very disappointed that no one turned up!!! My wife had brought new batteries for a her rampant rabbit and I felt silly jogging on my own waving my rubber fist. Next time you cancel the run, please could you let us know!! Many thanks.

Lovely campsite facing the water. There's a wooden platform on the campsites to put your tent above ground. Comfort Station doesn't have family stations just separated by male and female.

Andrew Ings

Great park, great people.

Jason Wu

Nice campsites, good privacy. Some are right on the water.

Don't bother to pay extra for water or electric at the site, the electricity is 15 amp with a GFI, so it's essentially useless for RV use. The breaker trips if you look at it wrong. And the water is not potable, so unless you have enough propane to boil it that warn you to avoid ingesting any. They do have some beautiful sites with no service which make more sense. Oh, and the wifi at the comfort station works, but it doesn't offer internet access, so I'm not sure why it's there.

Amazing views! And lots of privacy. All the camping spots are winners!

Bruce Bellaire

We had a great view from our site.

Miriam MacLeod (Mimi)

We really appreciated the laundry facilities. Our site was quiet, with electricity and water. There is a Blackhead trail through the woods. Bit of a hum drum walk through the woods, but what a payoff at the end! Stunning view. The showers were clean and water was hot. Ladies toilet was clean too, although almost out of paper when we left. I hope I told them, I can't recall. Great location to get to Fogo. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Derrick Jamieson

Very nice park. Lovely washrooms and Wifi works well at the comfort stations. I like the place. Central to the Islands.

Martine Mongrain

(Translated) Beautiful waterfront park and beautiful campsite. (Original) Très beau parc bord de l'eau, et beau camping.

Nice campground by the sea but gravel sites are no winners for tent camping. Also, the campsite is close to the main road. On the other hand, it is close to beautiful Twillingate.

Nice lots but only a very small sanitary block. No real kitchen/dishwashing area. Non serviced areas have outhouses....
