Nowadays this business gets a rating of 4.6 stars over 5 and the score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is virtually the top, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is very credible. If people have bothered to leave their review when they are satisfied, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Park is classified in the category of Park.
Large park, with tennis courts, baseball diamonds, Waterpark, petting zoo, picnic areas, skate park, soccer fields and lots of forest and gardens. Queens park is a true gem in the middle of the city!!
Water park, playground structures, concession and a petting zoo, with inclusive washrooms and open forest for free play.
Beautiful park, huge green area, place to do picnic, barbecue, a water park for kids. I highly recommend.
Nice big park with facilities such as BBQ area, kids play area, water square, nice walking trails and ample parking with clean washrooms and a small Treats place. Tip : Do try there ice cream for sure.
This place has everything a good park would have. Big Trees! A Baseball Diamond , tennis courts, a skate park and a decently sized playground from what I can recall! Not to mention an award winning garden! ????????????????
Super fun with playground, water park and petting zoo. 3/3! Could it be any better? Sure it can just add roller coasters and have the Swedish bikini team serve beer to the parents.
This is a classic park of Vancouver. Parking is free in most areas, the Millennial Trail is good for a few laps, in addition there are several large treed areas, two off-leash area for dogs, one for big, one for small breeds, a outdoor gym and soccer fields, a pretty decent skatepark, plus ball parks and picnic areas and a large playground for the kiddies. Bonus points for the Rainbow Farm, a small petting zoo, which is awesome!
Nice Riverside place near the sandwich area. Always peaceful and a great place for fishing.
Very nice Arena, the snack bar was open, and friendly staff. Heaters worked and changing rooms are clean.
Was there for a birthday party. Its a good park to be with kids to play, party and have fun.
Great Park with a really big area, nice walkways and fresh air over there. The kids playground is just ok, but what is good is that it is in a shadow and also under renovation currently, splash park is very nice. There is also lovely petting zoo which is open usually during the summer only.
Good place to rest and take the kids. Good water splash and playground. Good for picnic.
Great, calm park. However, not much to do.
One of the best and well maintained park. Thanks for council and everyone who cares
Beautiful park. But the signs and directions are all confusing. Pink sign pointing the way to the rose Garden was actually pointing away from it. For those not local who know the park this is very confusing. Possible maintenance issue?
It's a great park for walking and jogging. The rose garden becomes so beautiful in summer. There's a play ground for kids as well.
Very huge park lots of activities. The gardens are stunning beauty I could live in this park all day love love love it .
I love taking a walk here. Nice neighborhood park.
Nice place to spend time and for petty walk.
Great park to spend a day with family, alot of fun stuff to do here. Must visit.
Perfect park for the kiddos, lots to do. We had a picnic, big playground and water park, plus the zoo was so much fun
This is one of the best park for whole family and whole day activities in Greater Vancouver area. It has petting zoo, water park, a very high slides, vast picnic area with tall trees, playgrounds and kids creativity booth (drawing and crafting with staff attending). There are plenty of free parking space.
This is a wonderful park to visit with young kids! So many activities packed into the space: petting farm (summer only), splash pad, and playground areas. There is lots of shade so a great option on hot sunny days. Can get quite busy at times, but that's the nature of a great park.
It's for kids of all ages. Bring their bikes, scooters or just enjoy the park and seasonal water park. Washrooms and coffee kiosk. The best is the petting zoo with farm animals that's open seasonal.
I used to go here with my grandmother as a baby, and into my childhood. I really like this park; it's got a lot to offer including but not limited to a rose garden, lots of green space, sports fields and arenas, playgrounds, and a petting zoo type area which is open seasonally. They might have a spray park as well.
Beautiful park with picnic areas and much more.
Queen's Park is a must in New Westminster, you can spend all day doing many activities. Lots of parking spots, many recreational space. The playground is kinda outdated, old for the most of it.
Nice park very big with a big playground, there's also a small petting zoo close however during covid.
Great experience ( Good service and quality food)????????
We missed the animal farm there. New kid's facilities are building, can't wait to visit again soon when it is done.
Great place to walk, relax, jog or to bring kids. Washroom available, kids playground, spray park, rose garden, skate board park, off leash dog area, ample shades and greenery. Great place to play Pokemon Go too :)
Very beautiful local park i come here daily in the morning for my walk/jog! Lot of stuff is here if u wanna picnic walk run, tennis etc even i havent fully explored. Worth a visit
It's a great park for any member of the family, but especially for kids. There are couple playgrounds for kids of all ages and also a spray playground for hot days. During the summer you can also go to a petting farm, where kids will be thrilled to meet and pet farm animals. If you haven't been in this park before - you need to see it!
Cool parks for kids of all ages. The water park is super cool, the ground is made out of rubber so I didn't have to worry about my 2 year old slipping. The petting zoo was cool too. The animals looked happy so that's a plus.
Love this place to go with my family. Great soccer field and a great place to spend the hole day there.
Nice addition to the local park system. Theres a few creeps that have followed me at night here...
Queen's Park has much to offer, including a very nice rose garden. Great place for picnic, and a petting zoo. Many other amenities as well.
This park is currently in transition with construction throughout the park. Thankfully, the Rose Garden, Bandshell, children's play area and the skateboard park are fully intact. The New Westminster Arts Council is still in the park and recently celebrated their 50th year in existence.
Nice park. Good sporting and picnic spaces. There are nicer looking parks in the New West/Burnaby region, but this one is pleasant enough.
Lovely park. We enjoyed the playgrounds. There is also a splash pad and petting zoo. The universal access washroom was a nice facility.
Great place to play sponge Matt really helps minimize boo boos
We're quite new to this neighbourhood and the Queens Park is the closest park to where we live. I walk in this general direction a few times during the week and gradually make the point to cross the park on purpose to discover its features. It is a beautiful place for walking, jogging or cycling, depending on your favourite activity. There are various playgrounds and sporting fields so it serves as a multi purpose destination for many local visitors. The city does a great job maintaining the park so it's clean and well kept.
This is such s beautiful gem hiding in plain sight in New Westminster. It’s a lot larger than it first appears and once inside under the protection of all the tall cedars, there is a multitude of things to do for everyone - from sitting quietly on the grass under a tree or in the sun in a private spot amongst the trees and meadows or finding a private picnic table for a fun picnic to a petting zoo, water park, sports fields, or an art museum. It has something for everyone. The beautiful grassy meadows and well maintained walking trailers are easy to find your way through and offer tons of hidden spots to find the perfect place for your next romantic or family adventure. It’s easily accessed by transit, walking, biking or automobile and you can easily spend a day here just enjoying this beautiful tranquil spot in the middle of an otherwise bustling city.
Great park in the heart of New Westminister. Been to the ice rink before but never actually walked around the park area. Loved the garden
There is a lot to do there. The rose garden is a great place for wedding or any photos. The petting zoo is fun and educational. The water park area is big and floors are soft. The playground. And picnic areas are excellent. You can reserve picnic areas for large or medium sized gatherings
Petting zoo with super friendly animals for all ages + abilities to enjoy. Large waterpark, dry play park, free crafts + games + face painting + chalk + more. Excellent daytrip for families, daycares or schools.
1 acre fenced off leash dog park. Perfect for my husky mix to run around freely and socialize with other dogs. There is water for the dogs and benches for people to sit.
Nice spot for a break during a long bike ride
Had a great time here, a kids water play area, petting animals and also playgrounds. Nice for the family, kids loved it.
Nice place for a walk, there is an outdoor fitness training trail, the gardens are amazing, there's a petting zoo, bandshell, art gallery, baseball diamonds, water park, concession, hockey arena, tennis courts, covered picnic area. Hall and garden available for rent for weddings etc
(Translated) Lots of cool sculptures. Cool ocean view (Original) Muitas esculturas bacanas. Vista legal do oceano
Great park with just about everything you and your family could want to do. Many baseball diamonds, soccer fields, skate park, playgrounds, water park, consessions/food, bathrooms, trails, picnic areas, and green space. It has it all, centrally located in New Westminster.
As parks go, this is a pretty good one to have close by. The playground, splash pad, picnic area, petting zoo is perfect for kids to play in while enjoying an al fresco lunch. The rest of the park includes the usually superior plantings of the Park Dept as well as some sports venues too. Fortunate to have this place.
Love
Queen's Park is a great place for a picnic just to the east of the uptown area of New Westminster. There are picnic tables under a roof and in the open air. There is also an art gallery and rooms you can hire for weddings or meetings in the Centennial Lodge. There is a performing area and plenty of parking.
For a public park.. pretty nice place with lots to do
Fantastic little park for kids, shady play areas that aren't too sunny, a water splash park area, and a petting zoo (free) during the summer months. They have a concession stand near the petting zoo and public washrooms too. Parking isn't too bad, but can be busy on weekends. Picnic tables are available for snack time, and lots of spaces for picnic blankets.
Great for picture taking and relax
Great place, lots of flowers, people you know, first class floo charging station
All-ages public area with playgrounds, spray park & petting farm plus artificial-turf sports field.
Great spot to watch the river or go fishing
Great place for everyone. Lots of places and facilities for children of all ages to play with. Plenty of tall trees that provide shade for the hot days of the summer, plus there's a spacious splash area. There's also lots of seating available for picnics. Overall a great outdoor park
Big family oriented Park with tall old trees and beautiful flowers and grassy areas. They have a mini petting zoo for the kids and a skate park. There is a centrally located washroom and drinking water facilities scattered all around the park. There's also a small water park for kids.
The update done to this park under the previous councillor, John Elliott, is superb. One can sit on the benches, watch the traffic on the bridge and, perhaps, eat a meal while enjoying the spectacular splendor of the Detroit River. The large rocks at the water's edge makes it safe for little children and families to simultaneously enjoy the scenes. Lots of thought was put into this project. Well done, Mr. John Elliott!
Family place to walk, bring kids to the playground, waterpark. Used to have outdoors theatre and cute petting zoo. Hopefully those come back after pandemic is lifted. Park needs some tasty restaurant, coffee booth. Current food stand is mediocre, poor selection for Queens park.
Great park, lots of amenities, ice arena, brand new jump / gymnastics building, batting cage, and fields. Also has play grounds and is a nice walk.
Playground... Rose gardens.. .lots of huge trees and picnic tables. Even an off leash dog area just down the street from the main park.
Nice fishing spot with children
Busy. Loads of parking. Great for Pokémon go. Skate park. Picnic tables shade.
Great park. Great amenities. Picnic area and kids play area have great light and seating.
Nice walking trail. Park has large kids play ground, spray park, art gallery, and even a petting zoo. You'd never know if you didn't actually take time to check it out (even though you've probably driven past it every time you go on the Patullo).
Good location, has body weight workout area. Dog park. Skate park. Soccer field. Good hill to sprint on. Lots of varied physical workouts.
Queen’s Park in New Westminster BC is a wonderful place to view roses and take pictures.
Great little pocket park with sculptures, interesting tribute to Fenwick Lansdowne, an amazing bird painter from Victoria, swing set and picnic tables on the ocean. What more do you need.
Huge park to wander around in. Pretty old features but nice like kinda like Stanley park
Beautiful park with lots of room too run and get wet at the splash park.
Old school City Park with something for everyone.Walking and biking trails throughout.Easy access.Kids water park etc.Huge acreage.Picnic areas galore.Wonderful gardens.Benches throughout.Even a Stadium.Thumbs up New Westminister.
Hidden gem that appears to be sold now. There are little trails in between trees along the water. Lots of picnic tables and garbage cans.
Nice dog park, lots of shade for hot days. There are alot of things going on in this park ,everything from a music stage to a petting zoo ,a hockey facility ,a flower garden with wedding gazebo, multiple sports fields, tennis courts, walking trails,a water park and playground for the kids !
Great place for locals to sit in park
Fun for all ages. Great splash park and playground is super fun. Nice trail that goes around the park. Delicious ice cream. Only downfall was how busy it can get
Great family park. Washrooms very clean. Not crowded
No parking huge problem. No washrooms. Beautiful scenery beautiful spot. Beautiful wildlife.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Kids activities are very good. The place is very well maintained and the kids play items are properly arranged and maintained. Thank you New Westminster city for maintaining such a great place for kids.
The kids love to play here there's a water park climbing area and swings also a petting zoo here there was a huge slide area as well in which I was not impressed that they took it completely down and there's a sign saying there building a new area for I think it said 200.000 really new Westminster I believe that's a waste there was nothing wrong with what was there.
A bit muddy because of all the rain but otherwise a lovely park to walk around. Most flowers are done now but the ornamental cabbage is still stunning.
Great park for walking, our renting out the covered picnic area for a get together. A petting Zoo, water park, and gardens to explore make this a premier place to go to on a nice day in the city.
Great park for family gathering! Lot's of parking, lots of tables, playground for kids, shade/sun!
Beautiful rose garden. Loved the succulent sculptures as well. Added another, more modern note to an otherwise very traditional garden.
Amazing place to spend some time eith family at hot weather
Great place to stroll and spend a day
What an amazing hidden place in New Westminister. During the hear wave we manage to find a shade spot and fall asleep naturally ????
Nice place to spend some time....A great fishing spot
A quiet place to fish and watch ocean liners pass!
Perfect for walk and chill with kids as well as run and work out.
Every time I go here, something is happening. Last night I saw a small outdoor concert, with a single guy playing the guitar and singing! Sometimes it's a wedding in the rose garden, or bees zooming around the apiary, religious ceremonies in the picnic shelter, squirrels running everywhere to store food they'll forget, secret garden trails, filming for who knows what, kids smoking pot, a game of tennis, or lacrosse, or soccer or baseball, skaters landing tricks, picnics galore, dogs in the dog park, pushups being done in the outdoor gym, ice-cream to balance out the push ups, a spray park, an art gallery, a daycare, coyotes, sculptural Gardens... the list goes on and on. Its the kind of park that's a cornerstone for a community, and it's really got something for everyone.
Very nice park, benches were seperate enough for family functions to not really intersect, couldn't really hear anyone else, and presumably no one could hear us. Plenty of park space, decent amount of parking. Navigation could be a bit clearer but other than that, pretty solid.
There is a good spot here just on the point for some good photos, either over towards Oakville marina or across the small bay. But a good place to stop and look at the view if you are heading towards the marina.
Calm and cool
Good place to spend with family and for gatherings
(Translated) Nice point to view Sunset ,Detroit River and take photos for the ambassador bridge in the afternoon. Good attractions in the afternoon to shoot the Ambassador Bridge and the sunset (Original) Nice point to view Sunset ,Detroit River and take photos for the ambassador bridge in the afternoon. 好景點下午要拍大使橋及夕陽餘暉
Really nice hill for sledding parralel to 6 avenue, at the West end of the park
Spacious. Lots if walkers. Lots of kids. Lots of crows. Lots of big old trees. 1 owl
Very beautiful place to for daily walks or bring the kids.
Great place to take the kids - waterpark, concession even a petting zoo! Suggest coming early as it can get busy with families. Beautiful rose garden my mom got married in. They even host outdoor movies in the summer. Ive also shot a bridal photoshoot here - great place for engagement photos etc
Very nice place to visit. There's a water park, petting zoo, and ice cream stand, as well as baseball diamonds and fields. The Rose Garden is beautiful.
Beautiful trees, nice walking paths, nice playground (however it was not designed for tall children)
Good place for family gathering.
Towering trees and huge playground amidst the forest makes for a very attractive and fun park for my kids. Big slides, tons of swings for small and older and a exclusive area for toddlers. During the summer the goats, rabbits and sheep are well tended in the petting area and the water park is always a hit (albeit, freezing cold water!). Love it!
Great place of scenery and relaxation
Not many people on this part of Riverside and a peaceful place with people fishing around
I walk my Bo every weekday during lunch hour to this park and around the neighborhood. It’s quiet and nice. There are 2 dog off leashed areas for small and larger dogs. In the summer, there is a small petting zoo near the playground
This is a beautiful place, so many flowers and space to relax.
Nice new seating and very close to the river
Nice kids park and water park. Small cute petting zoo. Lots of trees for shade during summer. Washrooms right next to petting zoo. Parking is ok. Free city park wi-fi a bonus. Picnic tables and benches everywhere.
My 2 y/o daughter had lots of fun having the opportunity to have direct contact with the farm animals and learning more about them.
Great place with so much to offer. Love this park for too many reasons to list ❤️❤️❤️
A great place to have a picnic. During high dinner you can't grill outdoors but regularly you can bbq. They have a snack bar and info stand where staff will provide activities for your kids. There is a water park and a cool little petting zoo. Parking is free but they are on a few bus lanes.
We love this park because of the petting zoo. The kids learn a lot and observe when they stay inside the petting zoo for 2-3hours. The new washrooms are better. The playground is exciting as usual ... we enjoy gathering there
Great park, however I only come here on snowy days for the hill. Best hill ever. They have a slippery, long, steep part with black ice for advanced tobogganers like me, and a smaller, less steep area for young children. When you slide down you almost go to the road, but there is a part where you can just play. I made some new good friends who liked the same song as me, baby one more time by Britney Spears. We sung it together! That was years ago… but this is still a good hill! Come here!
Nice place to take ur kids... But there are no drinking water fountains, carry water while going
Amazing view on Portman bridge and the river and amazing Flowers! One of my favorite places.
Love this park for my dog. Its walking distance from my house, I am also a big fan of the lovely gardens.
Great little pocket park with sculptures, interesting tribute to Fenwick Lansdowne, an amazing bird painter from Victoria, swing set and picnic tables on the ocean. What more do you need.
This is my kiddos favorite place to feed the geese.
We stopped by to check out the new sign installation which are a tribute to Fenwick Lansdowne. They have been installed beautifully and it was great to see people stopping to admire them and photograph them. Our company Edley signs designed and produced them!
The tree are so tall, it's incredible. I went here with a friend and we talked about life, relationships, and the GameStop thing. We nearly got hit by a Volvo on our way home. 5 stars.
Lots different play areas for kids of different ages
Our favorite park to go to! Can't say no to a multi-age accommodating playground, with sand pit, spray park, petting zoo, concession stand, picnic tables and brand new super clean washroom facilities!!!
Great park in New West and the playground is well maintained.
The park itself is quite big and surrounded by lot's of green scenery. The kids parks are great for all ages, there is also a water park. The washroom is universal. The Millennium trail itself is 2.5km and takes about 15-20 minutes to walk and even less to run, there are also little trails that go all over the park. Another thing about the park is the Rose Garden by the arena, very beautiful and scenic little garden to take photos.
It's really good park for kids all of things to do water fountains, swings, picnic tables.
A great place to soak up a bit of nature and recharge. To be surrounded by magnificent trees and be entertained by a few crows searching for food.
Nice baseball field with stadium for fans. Infield could use some work to flatten out areas where dirt meets grass. Batting cage on site and a well maintained outfield. Enjoy playing here.
This park is beautiful! It is a fantastic park to take kids to, walk around, exercise in or just stroll. It s large and diverse enough to keep a person interested for some time. It has an ice rink arena, a soccer field with astroturf, a baseball diamond with real turf, a small softball diamond with real turf, a skate park, a fenced-in dog park, a theatre, a work-out trail (self-guided excecises), lots of paths, a petting zoo, a spray/water park, and tons of picnic tables spread throughout. The east side of the park is bright and a bit noisy as it follows HWY 1A but the rest of the park is quiet and peaceful, especially early mornings and late aftenoons. Dogs must be leashed in the park, except at the dog park which is a decent size and nestles nicely against a small hill within rhe park on the nort- west side. The park has an eclectic mix of buildings within it, from the small Theatre which runs about 6 plays per season to the large Ice Arena to the petting Zoo facility. The architecture goes from circa 1920s to early 2000's. There is a road that runs down the middle of it to allow parks utilities and police vehicles easy access. As you move from area to area, following this road within the park, you see the original stone gate posts which add a touch of nostalgia to the park. The old-growth trees in this park are beautiful and majestic. They stand tall and straight and gently sway from side to side in the wind, adding just the right amount of mystery to the park's wooded areas. While at the east end of the park, along 1st Street, you get to smell the park's sweet aromas while strolling alongside heritage homes and beautiful flowers.
Lots of amenities for kids and adults. Great trails for walking. Very well maintained, and clean. Sometimes through wasps can be pain in the... however that's what nature brings. Water park and petting zoo are great for little ones. Thank you New West for keeping this city jewel in shape.
Awesome park for a Family Reunion/ picnic! Has a waterpark for the kids, free Petting Zoo and a large playground. Covered shelters for large groups with electricity and water. BBQ's allowed provided there are no fire restrictions. Has garbage and recycle right there. Excellent for all the Family!
Great place for Families, Kids Love it!! Petting Zoo is so much fun and relaxed. Water Park keeps them busy for hours. Shade Shade Shade the best part. Older play ground for the Older kids.
One of the favourite family parks in New Westminster. With a playground, kids summer fountains, pets zoo and numerous picnic tables there's enough to do for everybody. There's a public washroom and large car parking available
Nice river view
Definitely the place to go to spend the entire day with your family. Lots of shade, tables, live music on the weekends and so many fun things for the kids. Plus an all inclusive bathroom, this park definitely is pretty awesome
Lovely little park to sit quietly.
One of my favourite places to go, this park features mature trees, several picnic shelters (which can be rented), a large playground, a water park, a free petting zoo, a dog park, and several sports venues. There's even a new universal bathroom and concession stand (near the water park).
Love this place the only place in Windsor I can put my boat in for free
This park is very cool it I have had many good times among us
Good place to chill. Always good scenary in evening time
It is a very wonderful place to visit along with family and friends. Recommend to for relaxation and meditation.
Great playgrounds and water park for kids. Petting zoo is reasonably clean if rather pungent. Little cooler here though as there's always lots of shade
Fun even on a rainy Victoria Day!!
A terrific little oceanfront park with multiple nooks and cranies to hide yourself away for a snack or to get some reading in. there are benches scattered about along with a swing. Close by is the Oak Bay Marina Cafe.
In the heart of charming British town New Westminster, it a recreation paradise.
A nice park in central New West with lots of room for a picnic and a play area for kids.
Great little spot. I always come here to play tennis with my friends. Very clean, very open and bright. Lots of grass and trees. Always lots of activity going on including baseball, soccer, lacrosse and more. Would recommend a visit
Nice area for dogs. Oasis of nature)
Gorgeous park perfect for the family
Nice place to recreate with green nature. In Summer time it will be a good a source of cold and fresh air. A very nice park, The trees are very attractive. The breeze from the trees is pleasing to the air and the sound of the birds. The water fountain is lovely. There are different benches to use for Barbecue. There are so many toys to kids. The park has a plenty of park space and has decent amount of parking.
(Translated) Lots of cool sculptures. Cool ocean view (Original) Muitas esculturas bacanas. Vista legal do oceano
Nice big park, lots of amenities. Water park, petting farm (closed last 2 years due to pandemic), rose garden, ice rink, several fields and baseball diamonds, tennis courts
My neighborhood is so beautiful with all the old homes and of course Queens Park which I walk thru 3+ times a week! Can't wait for the rose garden to bloom soon!
Lots to do with the little petting farm, two big play areas plus a water park. And a concession with popcorn & ice cream. Great place to spend the say.
Beautiful park with multiple play structures for the kids, and a free petting zoo (which is well supervised and has well treated animals). Also there is often live music/plays during the summer months at the band shell, and there are lots of picnic tables including some that are under cover and large enough to accomodate a family reunion or work BBQ.
Quite...peacefull. Interested in fishing!
Was there cleaning up fishing line and garbage with my wife and daughter
Kids friendly... very nice place for kids.
Good place for a picnic, reserve the place before, great play area for kids with water sprinklers.close by parking
Very nice park. Lots to see and do here. Baseball diamonds, dog park, water park, bandstand, many buildings for hosting events. A great place in the city to do many AZ activities.
Awesome Public park with a petting zoo, a splash water, basebal fields and more! Plenty of free parking
Great park with lots of things to do such as a turf fields, ester park, nice walking paths, skate park/bowl and more
Beautiful park, I had a really fun time sledding!
Excellent place for kids and for family get together. Kids will enjoy water fountains
Awesome waterpark. New concession stand. Petting zoo open for small groups at a time.
Love this old building. Best lacrosse history in the world
Great spot for magnet fishing & metal ďecting. I found an early 1900's coin metal detecting & lots of tackle magnet fishing. I also retrieved about 3 lbs of fishing line to clean up the environment and to save birds and fish from getting tangled up in it.
Krista and I go ditcin the park eirh tall pine ????????????park from childhood. We drink wine and eat fresh pizza from New west don't like public places, right yet. Big park with activities tennis ice hockey arena kids playing their too.playground old historical area
Absolutely breathtaking local park. New Westminster is known for its public parks and do not disappoint with this one! Full of every amenity you can imagine, Queens park is an excellently managed local park for new Westminster. I go there regularly for walks
Lovely park! I love the petting zoo, it's great for all ages and the animals are adorable. I am hoping to visit again when the weather clears up.
Queen's Park is a wonderful place to take the family. There are many tables and large semi covered areas to hold gatherings. The park features a playground, a petting zoo, and water park. There is a bandshell where groups can have poetry readings, music or basic shows. It also features an indoor arena.
Loved the painted ???? dried sticks that looked like flames of fire!????
Very quiet and lovely park along the Detroit river by the Ambassador Bridge. There is no playground for children but you can enjoy fishing or walking along the water there's lots of good views of Detroit and lots of people seem to go here and also you can see the Bell and the new hmcs Hunter.
Amazing place to spend the day, good fishing spot, good picnic spot, amazing view of the river. If you're trying to enjoy nature here's the spot.
Public park for everyone - kids play ground, fields for playing, covered (and reservable) picnic areas and a fantastic, immaculate rose garden, available for weddings. The roses are in full bloom mid- to end of June ????
It is a great place to go for a run play with your kids. They have an universal Washroom fyi. Some might find it awkward. Playground with structures well maintained trails and washroom.
Love the park it's quite large and full of green area to enjoy
One of the best spots for tobogganing!
Always look forward to coming here after a big snowfall, there is a great hill to toboggan down with lots of room to slide. I just wish more parents would teach there kids not to walk back up the center of the hill afterwards ????
I really enjoy the walking trails. They are fairly level but there is a steep section of the millennium trail along 6th ave between McBride and 1st st. There are some benches along the trails. It would be nice to see a few more picnic tables in some areas. There is plenty of parking. You can enter from 3rd ave or McBride. It would be nice to see some areas of the park revitalized.
Great place to fish
Amazing place

It is a very tranquil little seaside park perfect for simply relaxing by the shore. The location lends well to picnics, reading a good book and stepping out to the water, away from crowds. The sculptures, the swing bench and the shade trees simply add to the peaceful ambiance of the charming neighborhood gem.
Great park with an enjoyable skiff of snow and usable slopes today. The rest of the time it is a great park to picnic, walk, play, smell the roses, watch hockey, baseball. . pretty much everything!
This park is pretty big. Nice walking paths. Skate park. Gardens. I went to the playground and Waterpark in the woods for a picnic. They also have a mini food shop with icecream. And bathrooms. Plenty of garbage cans every where. The only down side is all the garbage people and their kids leave behind. There is broken glass all over the place from bottles to what looks like pane glass. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Children must wear shoes. Once fall hits and the leaves really drop that stuff is going to be hidden. It's bad enough leaves have already started dropping from dry weather.
We did a family photo shoot here. What a beautiful park!!!
Great park!
I never knew there was such an amazing park here in the Tri-cities!! I lived here for so long and I just found out by volunteering for my church day camp. Wonderful place. There's a beautiful view like Central Park, a waterpark, multiple playgrounds, and even a letting zoo! There's also face painting and crafts organized by the staff. The petting zoo consists of mainly goats but there's also pigs and ducks as well. Apparently this is a popular tourist attraction. I saw lots of summer camps besides us come here too. Parking seems not too bad. But I love this place!!
Beautiful park. Fun for the whole family.
Nice water park and playground for kids.
I loooooove this park. Friendly atmosphere, families and local community go here. Plenty of varied spaces to explore: picnic benches, sports complex, dog park, water playground and normal playground, open theatre, and more. Gotta love this New West gem!
Lovely ocean views, a few picnic tables. Both sun and shade.
Beautiful setting and has a small boat launch for kayaks, canoes, or small boats. The 4-person pendulum swing is fun too!
Amazing park! I am always discovering new things there. I used to just to the walk or run around the outside of the park, but there are all sorts of things in the middle! Smaller trails, a theatre house, kids park, and every kind of sports facility you can imagine. I can't recommend it enough.
Quaint and calm. Amazing landscaping. Great use of succulents all around the park. Definite visit.
Great views of the industrial shoreline of Detroit. Lots of street parking and the park is well maintained.
Nice park, as pretty as ever. However, the concession stand is closed, as well as the petting zoo. The water park is thankfully still open during this heat wave. Not too busy if you go early enough.
so much to do here! petting zoo, bandshell, exercise equipment, playgrounds, art gallery, tennis courts, ice rink, baseball diamond, flower garden, concession stand, spray park! beautiful trees, well maintained trails in the heart of new westminster. perfect for family outings, picnics or parties
Excellent park with tall pine trees and a petting zoo to boast! Amazing!
Excellent setting for a fabulous photo shoot, with exotic, colorful background!
An amazing park , playground ,waterpark and petting zoo ????
This beautiful historic park and neighbourhood is lovely at any time of year. Check the playground, rose garden, pristine lawns and the heritage classic architecture in the district.
I love this park. Did a couple of photoshoots here; my engagement, and maternity photos. Always turned out amazing.
If the garbage was picked up I'd give it a 5
Really nice spot. Beautiful. Unfortunately lots of litter.
Nice park.
Beautiful place don't hesitate to go there beautiful views Big trees easy access wheelchair no problem kids no problem lots of things to see picnics no problem see you
Nice outdoor park with animal petting farm, playground equipment for little kids, picnic benches, and some walking trails. Farely spacious park with lots of trees too!
Great water park and playground! Definitely a place to bring a young family. Just get here early if you want to get a picnic table, or just bring a big picnic blanket to set up in the shade.
Beautiful park in New Westminster. Hit public tennis courts and enjoy a game. Come to the rose garden with your picnic basket and have your lunch inside beautiful garden gazebo. After lunch, when your energy is restored, you may come to the free petting zoo, walk or bike one of the park's trails.
Big park with lots of shade and picnic areas. Many playground structures for all age groups. Spray park as well. In non covid times there used to be a petting zoo, but it's closed right now. Bathroom and concession stand too.
What's not to love about New Westminsters iconic park? Beautiful paths, tall trees, a rose garden (where countless weddings take place)???? sports facilities and a petting zoo and massive waterpark for the kids. An outdoor theater....and lots of wildlife. Need I say more?????
Several playgrounds, water splash area, pet farm and many seatings and picnic tables. Best part is its surrounded by beautiful tall trees so you get plenty of shade
Queen's Park is a lovely walk and a great place to bring kids for an outing. It's got enough space to socially distance. Most New Westies are respectful enough to wear masks and stay 6ft away as well.
Great park for a nice walk, water park & playground for kids. Skateboard park too.
Excellent place to go for a walk, find a bench to bring a good book and enjoy a coffee break. The neighborhood has interesting streets and avenues to explore. The City Parks Dept. Does an excellent job of maintaining the gardens in Queen's Park.
great park for kids
Beautiful rose garden and baby goats!!
Great place to relax work out or play ball . I go for the run its a clean safe place enjoy it. I drive from Surrey to this park
Concession and washrooms under construction. I really like this park.
This place is really good for family entertaining and fun for kids
Great park! Quite big. Will tired you out going around the while thing. Lots of history. The garden part is really nice with their little window/door display.
Always a beautiful place to be any time of year. Washrooms in the rink area are accessible and filtered water bottle refill station with occasional concession open. Often there are events going on for families very positive for the community.
A beautiful place to walk or relax.
Nice water park. Old slide brings back youthful memories!
Great place for physical activities. Ice rink, tennis court, rose garden, trail around the park. You can do your daily walk anytime of the day. I did mine early evening to catch different angles of subjects around this time.
Excellent skateboard park. Beautiful Bowl, fun for everyone! Would love to see more parts built like this in the Lower Mainland
Love this park. So much to do for all ages. Love the free petting zoo most of all. The new universal washrooms are great for parents and leaders of school groups too! Would be great to have more change rooms though. Only one in the new washrooms.
Beautiful park and nature. It is a big park with different section- garden, BBQ area, picnic area, walk area and kids water play section. ????????
Lovely park I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The garden here is lovely.
Soccer field in good shape given the amount of rain. Maintenance staff member at Queens Park Arena very helpful and courteous in providing a mask so that I was able to the restroom in the arena. Thank you.
We love the petting zoo, the kids enjoy see the animals. There are two areas of playground and small spraying park in the summer
Very nice park a real gem in a small city
Beautiful park, lots to see and do.
Love this park. Children can play for hours endlessly lots of shady places and picnic spots. Amenities are still closed but the fun doesn't stop.
Took my skateboard here had a nice skate, good people. Nice area even water fountains near the skate park. People were friendly. Area was clean. There were bathroom facilities. 420 friendly. Sunny day
Love the view and fishing
Cool park in west Windsor
Very good park. Beautiful.
Nice place to enjoy a great view and a little of fresh air.
This park is amazing! Petting zoo, water park, play ground, concession and lots of park space for picnic
Love this park!!! Perfect for the kids amd ppl of all ages
It is nice park for gathering and parties
Has two baseball fields and one stadium, soccer field, tennis courts, an outside fitness area(open) and other places of interest. Has an ice rink and lacrosse court for in season use: both of which are closed due to the virus. Washrooms in ice rink are still open to the public. Also a dog park area, and walking trails. It operates in accordance to covid virus rules to date.
It was a very nice park before all the crowds gathered. It used to be a quiet and peaceful park, but now it has become a park that is very noisy and the smell of marijana and smoking everywhere. Also, unisex public washroom where men and women have to go together are very inconvenient and sometimes feel unsafe when I have to use washroom alone with a questionable man in that washroom.
I've loved this park since I was a kid. Big park with lots of facilities and things to do. Halls to rent for functions, lots of sport fields and facilities. Trails to walk and jog. Small amphitheatre, big wooded area. Lots of picnic tables and places to barbecue. Great big playground, recently redone (although we miss the big old red firetruck). In the summer there is a big water park, a concession stand, free petting zoo (peacocks!!), and my favorite a lovely little rose garden! One of the gems of old new westminister.
Lovely park with lots of fields to play on and a nice little nature walk too. Also, I saw a squirrel attack a man when I was on a date here, so that was fun too.
Love the place
This park rocks!! Lots of trails, big playground for kids off all ages, a water park and a free petting zoo. Very tall trees around you so it keeps cool in shaded areas. Tons of picnic benches and restrooms. There's also a lot of sport facilities in this park too.
I was very impressed. First off its a beautiful park. Generations of care have obviously gone into getting and keeping it how it looks. Mostly though i couldnt believe how clean of litter it was. Good job. A park fit for a queen, no doubt.
It has tennis courts and is a very pleasant park for walks and short bike rides. At the south end of the park is an off leash dog park. In the summer they use the huge baseball diamond for evening outdoor movies. Bernie Legge theatre presents live theatre in a quaint old theatre at the south end of the park. Outdoor barbecueing is allowed and numerous picnic tables are provided many under cover. Lots of squirrels and a kids water park. Don't forget to visit the petting farm as well.
Beautiful park for family adventure. Water Park. Playground. Baseball Diamonds and skating rink. Lots of tables for picnics... so much more
A beautiful park with a lot of amenities. Sadly the petting zoo isn't open. But the playground, water park, skate park, basketball court are great.
Best park has it all. Clean. Ample parking. Can spend the whole day, week here .
Best park in the New west uptown
In my tenure as a human being, I've often said that one thing that's consistently missing in the world is trees. That new restaurant had good food, but where are the trees? I love your new house, Bill, but where are the trees? I saved for a decade to get behind the wheel of a Tesla, but trees. This was not a complaint I could make in this park. They have trees for all makes of person. Climbing trees, sitting underneath trees, trees for looking at birds, trees for becoming a bird (less audience there), and of course, revenge trees. My one criticism of this gorgeous piece of land is that I couldn't find the Queen. It's her park, so where is she? I came here to destroy her in either baseball, hockey, or soccer, all of which can be played here without any hassle. No, no, I get it. She's "busy"... whatever. Oh yeah, you can bring the beer to this park too (in moderation), so mask up the kids and load the cooler in the camino, yeeeeeeeeee-ooh!
We go to the skatepark all the time it is fantastic! the kids are great there but we all would like to see lights! in the skatepark as it is hard to see in the dark in the winter months as the sun goes down we do not get as much time as the summer time ????
Love this park. Large and open with lots of space to have a picnic. Spray park and multiple different play areas for kids of all ages, and a petting zoo that's by donation. It's always clean and well maintained. Plenty to do and great for spending the day with the family. It even has a concession stand.
Beautiful place
Great park with many different activities. A perfect collection ranging from turf soccer field, grass baseball stadium, indoor lacrosse/rink, tennis courts, rose garden that can be rented out for weddings, water park, plenty of barbecue and picnic tables, and through the year many city sponsored activities. Occasionally the parking lots will be jammed with film production trucks and the area tends to be a familiar spot for fliming, although have yet to ever bump into any famous actors. There is a nicely paved path that circles the entire park, and nicely enclosed dog off leash area - with a separate section for small dogs. There is water during spring to fall at the off leash, and turned off during winter. The dog off leash is usually visited with well behaved owners. Occasionally there is a nuisance dog and errant owner that will not pick up after their dogs, but mostly dogs are pretty good. Usually smaller dogs should have no problem on either side, but lately some owners with big dogs seem to be less attentive to their dog's aggressive behavior.
Nice addition Windsor.
This park is perfect for a day camp. So many things to do and see. Though I didn't go in, there is a petting zoo there as well...my next visit, the petting zoo is top of my list.
Clean and nice place
Great park, multiple playgrounds, water park, free petting zoo, multiple covered eating areas, outdoor theater. There are also trails and art centers. A lesser known Jewel of the lower mainland.
Love this spot ????
What a fabulous park! The pathways are a joy to walk. The beautifully tended flower areas are a must see. Park staff have designated areas for butterfly's, birds, and insects. The dog park area is a delight and my daughter and I enjoyed the antics of the dogs as they cavorted within their area. The park has something for everyone and is a must go for me as it offers a wonderful level of tranquility.
Nice hall for weddings and other functions...a little small but good for 125 people or less. Plenty free parking, disable accessible, decent kitchen for caterers. Overnight parking allowed for those needing to cab home. Beautiful gardens for ceremonies. Picnic areas, skate rink, tennis courts, all weather soccer field...
The park itself is in a very nice setting with sitting space spread all over the park. Also there is a huge covered space that can be ideal for party ...
Went to the slide with grandson and unfortunately had a homeless person sleeping on the platform. Usually would give a 4 star.
The best park in the New Westminster.
I went sledding here. I was walking up the hill, as some crazy dude started saying very bad things about me to his friend in Russian, thinking I would not know. He said “Эта девочка тупая!” (This girl is dumb!) And I said “Извините! Я говорю по-русски, и я НЕ тупая!” (Excuse me! I speak Russian, and I’m NOT dumb!) And I taught him a very very good lesson that day. Don’t mess with me, stupid people. And my great grandpa was in the Soviet Union. If you say bad thing in Russian, about me, you will fall to a slow and painful death
Very nice and quiet park. Less people at the skatepark
I had no idea this park existed until I recently visited for a kids birthday party and found out they have a petting zoo and waterpark, several playgrounds and a concession area. This place is great for kids!!
Amazing park all around! My kids absolutely love the petting farm. Has a great water park and playground. Lots of little paths between the trees to explore with your little ones. Beautiful flower garden and a great place to go for a walk
Perfect place for children to play and explore. There is a small petting zoo, large playground, spray park, concession stand, updated washroom, sports fields and plenty of shade from abundant trees growing in the park.
Amazing park with great facilities
Dog park area and large kids park. They have a baseball stadium too.
